Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Kerry: Middle East “home of populations that are energetic, youthful, forward-looking. It is in them that we place our faith.”

Oct 29, 2015 4:53 pm By Robert Spencer

Kerry is right, actually. The Islamic State is energetic, youthful, and looking forward to expanding its caliphate and eventually controlling the entire world. But of course Kerry is not referring to them. Exactly to whom he is referring is unclear, since, as the brilliant Daniel Greenfield here points out: “74% of Middle Eastern Muslims support the notoriously forward-looking Sharia law. 70% of Egyptians support chopping the hands off thieves. 86% support killing those who leave Islam.” Maybe Kerry has no problem with all that, since the Obama Administration’s Justice Department works so assiduously to procure special privileges for Muslims in the U.S., in accord with the privileged status Muslims have under Sharia.

John Kerry

“John Kerry: Middle East is Home of Forward-Looking Populations,” by Daniel Greenfield, FrontPage, October 28, 2015 (thanks to Pamela Geller):

John Kerry, the Man Who is Always Wrong, took to the stage to offer up some bizarre ramblings about foreign policy.

ISIS, which he refuses to call by its name, will only be defeated when the Syrian War ends, he claimed.

Also, he said, “The Middle East today is the home of populations that are energetic, youthful, forward-looking. It is in them that we place our faith.”

That explains the rampant illiteracy, enslavement of women, ethnic cleansing of non-Muslims and terrorism. So much forward-looking energy in which to place our faith.

74% of Middle Eastern Muslims support the notoriously forward-looking Sharia law. 70% of Egyptians support chopping the hands off thieves. 86% support killing those who leave Islam.

But Kerry actually has a point. The “energetic, youthful” populations are “forward-looking” enough to migrate to Europe for the good life. It’s more forward-looking than the Europeans who are taking them in.

Also the Middle East is pulsating. “Middle East today is still marred by sounds, spectacle of violence –but it need not be. The region is also pulsating with life,” Kerry said.

It’s pulsating alright. With MERS, Cholera and AIDS.

And then Kerry offered a last-ditch defense of the Arab Spring.

To skeptics who say that a mentally retarded leftist absolutely incapable of learning anything from the recent past or even processing simple facts can’t be America’s top diplomat, I reply with one word, #Kerry.

We’ve gone all the way from the wonderful Arab Spring, which foundered when Islamists took over Egypt, and then were tossed out, when Yemen turned into a battle between Al Qaeda, Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood, Saudi tanks crushed it in Bahrain, etc… over to Tunisia.

Tunisia is awesome. It’s proof that democracy can work.

If by democracy, you mean…

1. Islamists taking over Tunisia

2. Resulting terrorism, violent attacks, including one on the US embassy on September 11, which got overshadowed by the Benghazi massacre

3. Angry protests against Islamist rule by Tunisian leftists, especially unions

4. Violent street battles between Islamists and Tunisian protesters

5. A change of government

6. The Tunisian Islamists finally stepping down to make way for an interim government

7. A new Tunisian government being elected, which has its roots in the pre-Arab Spring politics

Tunisia was basically the same story as Egypt (I predicted counterrevolutions against Islamists in both countries back in 2012, when most analysts were still huffing democracy fumes) except that the local Islamists grasped that they could either take a back seat in the political system, while still retaining a seat at the table, or they would be crushed just like the Brotherhood in Egypt. From Kerry’s POV, this is an improvement. But it’s a long way from democracy.

Kerry’s last desperate gasp of Middle Eastern democracy is a country where violent protests determine the government. So much pulsating energy and so forward-looking.

Poor old Mr Kerry. He must have the basic IQ that tells him he’s spouting nonsense. But if one is simply a Voice, one has to speak the Master’s words. And the Master is Mr Obama. I suppose Mr Kerry will use the age-old excuse; ‘I was only following orders’, as if he has no choice whose orders he follows.

Mr. Kerry, you are a thick, brainless moron with about as much grasp of the real situation as an ant.
Listen to the words of Winston Churchill who had a real grasp of the muzzie world way back in 1899. From his book, The River War – “How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.”

It is now evident that this man is simply ‘mental’. No intelligent, rational person when confronted by the insanity of Islam, the dishonesty and goals of Iran, the savagery of ISIS, would talk such utter drivel about such shocking idiotic people.

      Wow!
No wonder everyone including his enemies know Churchill as a great great man.
It took me a lifetime to get what he has said through this paragraph. I live in Iran and I believe with all my heart if no one in the developed countries help the dictators in the Middle East, Islam is destined to undergo massive changes to survive. Unfortunately greedy scientists and technologists seeking oil billions will hider the process as they did six years ago in Iran.
Kerry is not that stupid to make such remarks. He is lying and he knows it.

      • Rob Porter says

        Oct 30, 2015 at 9:47 pm

If he is simply lying then he is a coward and man of low moral character. He has spent a lifetime of lying. He lied over his service in Vietnam and no doubt his lying began long before that.

Either he must be reeallly insulated from reality or, he’s living in an alternate universe.
What this guy needs is a reality check. So how about delivering him, without benefit of armed security, into a group of about fifty
“forward looking and energetic” young Iraqis, Afghanis or Pakis and we’ll see if he still feels he can “place his faith” in them as their shoving broom sticks up his anus and turning him into a human SMORE.

What is Kerry mumbling about? Tunesia is on the road to Islamic chaos, just wait for it. The tourist economy is in decline. Tunesia has a very controlled media which is not a hallmark of democracy. No majority Muslim country remains stable because Islam does not offer allegiance to any but a Caliphate and Ummah.

I doubt that Mr. Kerry would spend “A Night In Tunesia” without body guards.

Unhappily, Old Hatchet Face lacks both the nerve and integrity to tell his public that the energetic, forward-looking young of the Middle East are in clashing factions of Qaida, the Muslim Brotherhood, and other such unsavory crews?

This country needs a SecState who understands (1) history happens; (2) that while there is nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come, that idea can sometimes be a very bad one; (3) there will be people out there who will hate us for who and what we are as much or more so than for who and what we have done; and (4) the First Amendment to the US Constitution was no glitch or oversight on the part of the Framers, but an important lesson in governmental restraint.

Dr. Ben Carson is NOT the answer to defeating ISIS. Carson has said some very pacifist things which leads me to believe that he will not declare war even when it is called for (watch the first presidential debate on YouTube where he was asked about going to war and he stated that we must be more intelligent…sounds like Obama), and he has stated that he won’t deport the illegal aliens en masse that are here illegally, and he has stated that he doesn’t doubt Obama’s Christianity (I do because Obama has shown himself to be a hater of Christians).

He and other US State Dept. sociopaths place their faith in Jahab al-Nusra, which is a branch of al-Qaida of the 9/11 infamy. It is now regarded by the US as “moderate Syrian opposition”. No low is too low for Kerry and his ilk. The people of my Old Country Russia are discovering the Western Sociopath specie only now, and they are disgusted. Just 5 years ago, in 2010, the polls showed two-thirds of the Russians having a positive view of the US. Now, after seeing the US back the Nazi West Ukrainian putsch in Kiev on Feb. 21, and its whore games with al-Qaida jihadis , it is down to 4 %. As Putin asked at the annual Valdai Forum in Russia on Oct. 22: “What makes “moderate” terrorists different from “non-moderate” ones? Do they behead people in a “kinder, gentler way?” Back in September the degenerate Gen. David Petraeus suggested that the US make an alliance with al-Qaida against ISIS. Evgeny Satanovsky, a former Russian Army General (an honorable soldier in contrast to Petraeus) exclaimed: “To bad he did not say this on the ELEVENTH of September for a greater effect”.
Meanwhile , Russia has declared its own rule of engagement: “A terrorist is a terrorist is a terrorist” and continues with its devastatingly accurate air strikes on al-Qaida, ISIS, Muslim Brotherhood and everything in between. The jihadis are reeling, and Christians are beginning to return to their devastated cities and villages, and destroyed churches. Meanwhile, the US is whining and lying that Russia bombs hospitals. When asked for the proof, the US State Dept. spokesman John Kirby sites “press reports” ( ! ! ! ) When someone asks CNN and other media about their proof , they speak about “anonymous US officials” ( ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ). The US and CNN refer to each-other’s lies as “proof” of their lies ! Revoltingly, it is a regular routine with both the US government and the so-called “free, independent US media” who march in lockstep with their brazen, obscene lies.
