“A statement from the US Department of Justice said Mr Ferizi, known by his moniker ‘Th3Dir3ctorY’, hacked into a US company’s systems in order to take the personal details of 1,351 US military and government staff.” The repercussions of that theft could be felt for quite some time.
“Malaysia arrests Kosovo man for ‘hacking US files for IS,'” BBC, October 16, 2015 (thanks to Lookmann):
A Kosovan man has been arrested in Malaysia for allegedly hacking into a computer database and providing information on US security officials to the so-called Islamic State group.
The man, who is in his 20s, was detained on 15 September, Malaysian police said in a statement on Thursday.
Separately, the US identified him as Ardit Ferizi, thought to head a hacker group called Kosova Hacker’s Security (KHS).
Mr Ferizi will be extradited to the US.
A statement from the US Department of Justice said Mr Ferizi, known by his moniker “Th3Dir3ctorY”, hacked into a US company’s systems in order to take the personal details of 1,351 US military and government staff.
He will be charged with computer hacking and identity theft, and faces up to 35 years in jail, the statement added….
Between June and August this year, Mr Ferizi is alleged to have passed the data on to IS member Junaid Hussain, also known as Abu Hussain al-Britani, who later posted the details online along with a threat to target the officials….
Malaysia has arrested more than 100 people this year, suspected of links to IS, including ten people in August – six of them members of Malaysia’s security forces.
What? 100 people in modern, moderate Malaysia misunderstood Islam so drastically as to adhere to the Islamic State?

Speaking of hacking, last night the mysterious pop up screen over jihad showed up again. Haven’t seen it for a while now, but it’s back. It says something about subscribing to the digest and to share, then has a button that just says “peace” on it. And it won’t go away from the site until I click the x in the upper left corner. Very suspicious and I have mentioned this a few times before.
Has anybody else experienced this thing? This isn’t possibly an actual authentic jihad watch feature, is it? It just seems wrong and likely some way to phish for some information like your log-ins to various sites if you click on those or who knows what kind of virus attack if you click on the “peace” button.
Can anybody talk about this? Robert, do you know what I’m talking about?

To Don McKellar- Hi Don. I often see a check mark on the upper left hand corner with a square box and four little squares on the upper right hand corner when I write a comment here on Jihad Watch. When I tap the check mark it disappears, and then reappears when I finish writing the comment. This is what I see, but I do not know what it is, as I am a techno dunce. I would be interested to know if this is a Jihad Watch mechanism? Regards to you, Don.
Don McKellar says
No, that’s not the one. Next time it appears, I will take a screenshot photo and put it up in the comments section.
Don McKellar says
Okay, I just looked up the link provided and it is real and the “peace” is there as a joke. Okay, sorry for the alarm — I never went back and checked for responses after a while on that earlier thread.
Linde Barrera says
To Don McKellar- Thank you.

I find that if you clear the browsing history you will encounter that on your first visit to this site. It happens to me every time I do a cleanup. Then I can go on the site next time and it won’t pop up.
Angemon says
You’re not the only one complaining about that pop-up screen, and, IIRC, either Robert or marc recently stated that it’s legit and a feature of the site.
Linde Barrera says
To Angemon- Thanks for your response about the screen.

I did a little reading about Malaysia and Kosovo with regard to religious statistics. Kosovo is 95% Islamic, while Malaysia is roughly 62% Islamic. The government of Malaysia describes their country as “a secular state, not a theocratic one, with Islam as the official religion.” The Malaysian government has also persecuted Christian groups who were perceived to proselytize to Muslims. The US State Department was notified of Ardit Ferizi’s arrest for hacking personnel files of US military and government staff, for the purpose of giving the information to IS. (It is my opinion that the US Department of State normally covers up the dysfunctions of Islamic governments, especially the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.) With the cooperation of Malaysia here, would it be foul of me to think there was a lot of bribery going on, that this guy Ferizi was caught? Or is Malaysia an Islamic country that plays by the rules?
Huck Folder says

“According to constitutional definition, Malays are Muslims who practice Malay customs and culture.”
Peggy says
The only reason Kosovo is over 95% Muslim now is because they got rid of all the others. NATO bombed the Serbs for 72 days and nights in order to drive them out. In 2004 there was a pogrom when Albanians (Muslims) destroyed over 150 Serbian churches and monasteries and drove most of the Serbs who remained out.
Now Serbs are only safe in the North part of Kosovo because they were always a majority there but the Serbs who remained in the rest of Kosovo were forced to live behind barbed wire and be escorted by EULEX to schools and churches because of Albanians who wanted to drive all of Serbs, Roma and other non Albanians out.
Kosovo was always a Serbian province but thanks to Clinton he backed the Albanian separatists and helped them take over.
Now the US is getting paid for their deeds by these savages.
underbed cat says
Yes, it is very disturbing how the news covered that campaign against the Serbs. I was ignorant of the situation during that genocide…and had such sympathy for the muslims that the press continued to show as victims instead of the islamic aggressors. Now I see that Christians are always vilified. The press should be informed of the misinformation that is a continuous stream out of the mb operatives who get the attenion of the press and completely get blinded, maybe even converted to the jihadist cause and ideology.
Custos Custodum says
EVERYTHING in Malaysia involves bribery. Malaysia is officially a Muslim-dominated country. However, the large Chinese and Indian groups and indigenous non-Muslim minorities help keep a semblance of British traditions alive.
Moreover, the Malay elite, though nominally Muslim, are well aware of the danger they themselves face in the shape of subversion by radical Muslim movements (as in nearby Philippine Mindanao).
underbed cat says
Subversion by radical muslims? Not wonder the planes that dissappear or fly over war zones are piloted from Malaysian islamic counties and pilots who visit mosques. It more likely somewhat devout muslims that follow sharia to slay the infidel and continues with terror. In my opinion. But for the press to investigate islam and sharia and the U. S. gov insurgency while also working for media that participates in the monies made by the “in their words evil oil industry” is really annoying. Any “green cause in Saudi Arabia”?. Nope.
Lots of sunny resorts.

Well if it is a feature of the site, then why does it only appear sporadically? Why not regularly like any other feature? I don’t see it for weeks and then it pops up again out of nowhere. And why does it have a suspicious button that reads “peace” and not “subscribe” like the real buttons for subscribing to the daily digest on the right of the screen? Sorry — that just doesn’t add up.
Don McKellar says

Once he is in the USA. I recommend a speedy trial AND an even speedier EXICUTION. But not by firing squad. Just strap him into “Old Sparky”. I think the customarily 20,000 volts will do the job nicely.
Perhaps a video of this should go on the web? For the future jihadist to see? And maybe LEARN?

The Kosovar Albanian terrorists continue “rewarding” the US for crucifying Serbia for them in 1999. A Nuremberg trial for Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Madeline Albright, Gen. Wesley Clark, Gen. Michael Short, Tony Blair, George Robertson and other US and UK war criminals is long, long overdue.
Myxlplik says
I know, when has a Serb ever attacked America or American interests? Muslim Albanians have and do with periodic regularity.
Truth is Christian Orthodox Serbia is, and never was our enemy, can’t say as much for Albanians, especially the Kosovar kind though.
Enragedsince1999 says
Very true. NEVER, not even in a random altercation, did even one Serb spill a drop of American or English blood. NEVER did Serbia do ANYTHING to the US or UK except being their ally in both world wars. During WW!!, Serb villagers saved over 500 downed American and English pilots, hiding them from the Germans, and from the Nazi Croats, Bosnians and Kosovar Albanians. But in 1999, American and English pilots were back to bomb and destroy Serbia, to burn Serbs and their children alive, to destroy their Christian churches and monasteries. They repaid good with evil. AND YET, there hasn’t been ONE attack by ONE Serb on an American or anyone English, not even in revenge for the evil done to them ! But there has been a PARADE of terrorist attacks by Kosovar Albanians on Americans: Elvir and Dritan Uka , leaders of the Fort Dix terrorist plot, Arid Uka who shot 2 American GI’s dead, Sami Osmakac who plotted bombings of night clubs in Miami, and the latest – but not the last – Adrit Ferizi.

“On July 28th 1918, the 4th anniversary of the beginning of World War I, Serbian flag flew above the White House and all public buildings in American capital by the order of President Woodrow Wilson.
This unique event, a Serbian flag flying above the White House in Washington, took place over 9 decades ago but remained a memorable act of the US President Woodrow Wilson towards Serbia that submitted the ultimate sacrifice in “The Great War” – it lost 26% of its population and had a precedent in the war history when almost its entire population had to withdraw from their homeland.”

That’s what worries me Gerald, we don’t know who we are & they don’t really teach history from what I would consider an American perspective any longer. There is no way in Hell that an America who knew what its history and culture, could have attacked Serbs. We are lost, and I think attacking Serbs in defense of Muslims was a death knell for us.
Peggy says
Serbs have always been allies with Americans. During WWII Serbs saved 500 American airmen at a personal cost and this is how America treats they allies?
Disgraceful. Not too many people know about that.
This is important, please see it.

Would be nice to see Russia playing a larger more active role in the former Yugoslavia.
Peggy says
Russia wanted to but they were too weak then. Soviet Union had just collapsed and that drunk Yeltsin was an absolute fool.
It has taken Russia a long time to bounce back so if the same was to happen again, Russia would definitely go in there and stop the madness.
Enragedsince1999 says
True. Russia had just convened a summit of the government leaders of the former Soviet republics of Central Asia. Putin stated the situation clearly and plainly: the US has failed in Afghanistan and is totally impotent there. The jihadis seek to spread jihad out of Afghanistan into the Central Asia and the Muslim provinces of China. The countries , including Central Asia, China and Russia are coordinating their intelligence, security services and military forces to create a cordon sanitaire against jihad. The tough former Soviet apparatchiks Karimov of Uzbekistan and Rakhmonov of Tajikistan had already beat back jihad onslaughts out of Afghanistan. and so did Kyrzyzstan. They are ready to do it again, and with the cooperation of both Russia and China, they will be even more successful than before. No passaran ! Jihad shall not pass ! The Russian military has indeed made a quantum leap since the catastrophic pro-Western Yeltsin misrule. I have been following the dramatic improvement of the Russian military from the US , but even I was blown away with its awesome performance in Syria. Flawless ! It is definitely one of the finest militaries in the world.
underbed cat says
As an American, I was amazed by the intelligence of some Russians and at one time baffled by their resentment with muslims. At the time, I thougth it was” hateful”, and just a Russian being nasty, now I see. I think the U.S. has underestimated the technological advances of Russia, that sent up the first rockets, and really had a “spacestation” floating around the earth nearly 15 years in advance. That fact really shocked me, and I also remember the ridiculing press about the spacestation needing U.S, to aid in repairs. We didn’t have a spacestation. Laptops and computer science was very big in Russia as I saw a young student from Russia with a laptop early 90’s and complete knowledge of computer science. It also seems that there is absolutely no interest in analysis of the movies, t.v. media broadcasts that can only cause a dumbing down, with low ball politics of the nations youth.
