“These people don’t want negotiations. They’re inciting for violence. Direct your questions to them.” He might also have asked the BBC “journalist” why her news service has become such an energetic propagandist for the “Palestinian” jihad.
“Netanyahu Rebukes BBC Journalist: ‘Are We Living on the Same Planet?’ (VIDEO),” Algemeiner, October 16, 2015 (thanks to Inexion):
Israeli Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu admonished a BBC journalist who asked at a press conference on Thursday if he was ready to resume negotiations with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
“Are we living on the same planet?” Netanyahu sharply responded to Chief International Correspondent Lyse Doucet. “I’ve been calling day in, day out, in every forum… I’ve called on President Abbas to resume unconditional negotiations immediately.”
Netanyahu urged Doucet to instead ask Abbas if he is willing to talk to the Israeli prime minister. “Right now, as we speak, we can meet,” he said. “I’m willing to meet him, he’s not willing to meet me.”
“And you ask me about the resumption of negotiations?” he continued. “Come on, get with the program. These people don’t want negotiations. They’re inciting for violence. Direct your questions to them.”
Watch Netanyahu discussing the resumption of negotiations with Abbas in the video below:

Hello, DeMolay. I’m happy to say I haven’t paid a licence fee for *years*. Neither do any of my friends or family.

Thanks for that link, MIrren. My God, every time I find myself chagrined by how freedom has been diminished in the UK, along comes information, like this video, which demonstrates that it’s even worse than I thought.
I would add here, especially in light of the recent “milestone” that Elizabeth has now surpassed Victoria as the longest reigning monarch in British history, that the present British monarch has presided over a gigantic demise of her own nation without doing anything, at least that I know of, to stem this descent. I used to admire Elizabeth II. I don’t any longer.
If you believe me too harsh, I would welcome why you think so.
I would close here, as I have before at JW, with an assessment by LBJ when told by a adviser that he shouldn’t put the American Presidency on the line by taking a stand on a particular controversial issue, to which LBJ (who is far from my favorite President in our era) said, “What good is the American Presidency if you can’t put it on the line from time to time?” Ditto, I would contend, for the British monarchy (or any office), irrespective of what Walter Bagehot and others have had to say. As I see it, Elizabeth II has failed her nation. She seems most interested in preserving her family when she should have been most interested in preserving her nation.
As for the BBC, what a loathsome organization it is. I would think that millions of Brits hate it. I’m “across the pond” and I certainly do. It is, invoking Einstein’s assessment here, “beneath contempt.”
Take care, my British friend, in a nation that once knew freedom but no longer really does. This is beyond tragic. It’s criminal.

No, Wellington, I totally agree with you. I think we exchanged some views on this, quite a while ago. I’ve never been a particularly enthusiastic royalist, although my feelings have always been I’d rather have the Queen than some ghastly frou-frou like Cherie Blair, or Samantha camoron, prancing around as a kind of ersatz first Lady.
But in the light of what is happening to my country, I now despise her with all my heart. As you say, all she is concerned with is preserving her, and her family’s, privileged position. She’s gutless. And when she finally pops her clogs, who have we got then ? Charlie bug a lugs, who adores islam, and is a total wanker.
”My God, every time I find myself chagrined by how freedom has been diminished in the UK, along comes information, like this video, which demonstrates that it’s even worse than I thought.”
True, but all is not lost ! The fact that there are still some of us prepared to stand up to this bullying, as you saw in the video, gives me a bit of hope. And there is LibertyGB, Paul Weston, and others, who haven’t given up.
You take care, too.
On a totally frivolous note, why can’t someone as rich as Trump get himself a better hair stylist ? 🙂

Did you notice that when Scotland had its vote for independence, Queen Elizabeth was very upset about the thought of losing Scotland while she was queen. Well, she is going to lose the whole UK to islam and has done absolutely nothing to stop it. She may have no political power but she has a soapbox and everytime she speaks she gets worldwide press. I expect future Brits will despise her for her cowardice and that will be her legacy.

Very good point, vlparker.
In fact, I think that’s the only time in her entire reign she’s gone off the reservation. Unless, of course, she was told to say it, by camoron, which wouldn’t surprise me.
Nevertheless, what you say is perfectly true – she (nor any of her miserable family) has done or said absolutely **nothing** to stop the steady islamisation of Britain, and whilst you’re correct in saying she has no *political* power, she does have tremendous popularity, so anything she said against islamisation and immigration would have an enormous impact.
As a citizen of the UK, *I* certainly despise her for her cowardice. Mind you, when she dies, and we get Charles, that will be worse, because *he* is an open islamophile, and will no doubt endorse everything this government has done.
Never mind. Lan Astaslem !

Ah Netanyahu! He put her in her place in answer to her absurd questions.
Did anyone explain to her? When it comes to Israel, the Palestinians want “no peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with Israel.”
I don’t get it. Is she just ignorant on the topic or is she being forced by the executives to speak from a specific angle?

Right on Netanyahu.! Sounds like the reporter is from “another planet”, way out in space…..as she sticks to her commitment to decieve….Pluto maybe. Really she is the Chief International Correspondent Lyse Doucet?
And plays along…like she is asking a serious question, it must be that a journalist cannot show any prior knowledge, bias and must ask inane questions so as to not incite violence or endanger herself from the Palestinians rage from the fact they do want to rage. Kinda of like tennis.

Seems that many, maybe even most…haven’t done a survey, so can’t say for certain…journalists have jumped on the wagon of group think.
They don’t want to go against the grain and seemingly then disagree with o and k and c and the u.n, and moon and whomever else is blaming Israel for the violence and lack of *peace* negotiations.
It would seem that it has escaped their notice that engaging in negotiations with those who wish all of Israel to be sunk into the Sea is much like a woman negotiating with a rapist. He rapes her a hundred times and she asks for a drink of water to which he says what else can you do for me. And refuses the water.
But it doesn’t really escape their notice. They know, but don’t want to say anything that might upset the beast and its foaming-at-the-mouth adherents.
They do live on another planet…one where they care only about their own bottom line. She got her name out there…even if it shows how ignorant was her question. And she may hope it carries over to the saving of her neck when the moslims find out what she asked.
mortimer says
At most, journalists may have studied some political science, but what they need to understand Islam is a depth of knowledge of ISLAMIC HISTORY…as well as a DEEP knowledge of the Islamic source texts.
If journalists read Islam’s source texts, they would have no doubt that Islam is the personal example of Mohammed and nothing else.

Seeing what’s happened with the Beeb, I’ve come to the conclusion that any government news agency should be kept small; while the rest of the media should be free, open, and full of competition.
Then again, in the free market, I fear we’d have more people interested in sports and Madonna’s cup size than in an interstate war in Africa or the possible collapse of an important state.
