Katnis says
Thank you for this video. I agree. Let’s be clear about the hijab means:
Not about modesty.
Not about fashion.
Is about a commitment to Sharia.
Is about a lack of freedom.
Is about control.
“If you don’t wear the hijab, you are going to get raped.” That’s the bottom line.
Still excited to see the hijab? Still seeing this as a feminist symbol (a sign of equality)?
Frank says
Wrong, wrong!!!
The hijab is a present from Islamic woman to the western man, cause, honestly, who would ever like to look at what’s hidden under it. My eyes say: ‘Thanks hijab, for not hurting me’.
carpediadem says
Actually even with the hijab they get raped.
Christianblood says
Do you want to counter any woman who is wearing a hijab?
Wear 10 Knights Templars’ Crosses on you with pride!
Dr. Divinity says
YES the hijab signifies slavery.
Zardoz says
It’s not even Islamic, all the coverings have their roots in ancient babylon, how ironic. The hijab comes from a pagan culture. I agree with every word said. It’s sick, vile and everytime is see a walking bin bag (trash bag) I want to tell them what dishonesty and travesty they are perpetrating.
The BBC showed recently “The Ascent of Woman” laid all of this bare. It’s disgusting!
Simone Fields says
And now we see H&M is now promoting its first Hijab wearing campaign. How many fashion clothing stores are going to follow suit?
Simone Fields says
There is a prominent Muslim Dr Taj Hargey in Oxford, UK who campaigned to get the burqa banned and he has written some good articles on the subject saying that it isn’t a requirement in the Koran to cover completely and that it was an ancient custom – can’t remember all the details.
Tommo says
Dr Taj Hargey also wrote an excellent piece in the Daily Mail titled ‘Why aren’t British Muslims condemning the maniacs killing in the name of Islam’ . The article was published on 15th August 2014. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-2725475/Why-aren-t-British-Muslims-condemning-maniacs-killing-Islam-From-leading-Muslim-voice-troubling-question.html
Dr Taj has also written about the obscenity of Halal food being foisted onto the unsuspecting public.
Tommo says
Dr Taj Hargey should be in David Cameron’s cabinet guiding the government through issues such as the Islamophobia scam and the brainwashing of Muslim youth in British Mosques. He would open a few naive minds to the threat of Islamic supremism and Sharia Law which Cameron thinks deals only with divorce.
Simone Fields says
Well Tommo, I don’t know what to say about Dr. Taj’s Daily Mail piece regarding telling Muslims to protest that the Isis atrocities are not Islamic because everything I have learnt on Jihad Watch tells me the opposite, they are following Islam to the letter.
somehistory says
Thank you, Mr. Glazov.
I must admit, it is hard…maybe sometimes impossible…to feel any kind of sympathy for a woman who is treating others like they are low-life, wearing not only the scarf, but a superior attitude and speaking in the voice that says we are all so stupid.
This wearing of the mobile prison should be listed in the books of psychological disorders. The description and symptoms and causes would fill a chapter or two.
You have explained it all very well. I’m thankful that you can post your videos here and we can have the opportunity to listen and listen again.
somehistory says
Oh, and what you stated about the KKK robe and hood being a symbol of hate…so are the prison clothes of islam. It is hatred of freedom and a hatred of everything good, and clean and happy.
Stephanie says
Might as well be wearing a NAZI uniform, IMO. In America. And how is that modest when it DRAWS attention to yourself? Give me a break. Pfft.
Jay Boo says
The hijab Muslims say is for purity & modesty.
But of course it is nothing but a sex-slave fashion accessory.
Next stop is hijab hell.
Blitz2b says
Wouldn’t it be nice if the hijab were actually what the musalmahas who wear them claim it to be? I mean if there were a”real choice” ….. ” to wear or not to wear…” Would be the question Muslim women would be asking themselves first thing in the morning…
Unfortunately it’s not like that and when I see wee little Muslim girls donned with the headgear, the intended reason that actually draws the attention of men toward her, my blood boils, I am furious to see an innocent young girl who should be free to feel the breeze through her hair, now shackled to this ideology that demeans the weaker sex…..
How pathetic…
Sally says
This is where knowledge in cultic studies is useful. Islam is the biggest, most successful destructive cult in the world and the discourse there can be very very useful in terms of understanding why girls born into fascist Islamist families support their cult leaders and why all Islamic indoctrinated cult members are so fiercely loyal to their abusers. There is some great research and sites and it can be a very useful lens where definitions and measures to counter cultism are clear and accepted without any nonsense and hey Islam fits the bill like a glove.
Wellington says
The hijab is a sartorial representation of an ideology which is a mortal enemy of freedom and equality under the law. When I see it being worn I might as well be looking at someone wearing a swastika. After all, whether it’s a master faith that’s being promoted or a master race, the totalitarian implications and effects are essentially the same.
Peggy says
Totally true. Even if they just promoted it by displaying it on themselves I could accept but they are shoving down our throats. That’s what is totally unaccepable and our government is in this with them.
Amazing how evil has the ability to sway so many. Most people in western countries are still blind to the danger.
Billy Wright says
The hijab tells men, “You are not allowed to look at me because you would be so overcome with lust you would rape me if you did.”
Peggy says
It’s either very arrogant of the women or admission of inability to control themselves by men.
Either way they are vile.
Linde Barrera says
In the past 11 months that I came to this website and have been reading Jihad Watch, I have learned a little (compared to what people like Wellington, gravenimage, Angemon, mortimer, Alarmed Pig Farmer, Don McKellar, somehistory, Champ, Stephanie, Joseph, jihad3tracker, Jay Boo, Philip Jihadski, kay, The Buffster, Cecilia Ellis, and many others already know) and I have learned a lot compared to what I knew, which was hardly anything, except the vocabulary of The 5 Pillars of Islam, which I learned in high school back in the late 1960’s. So I am very grateful for learning from people like Robert Spencer, Pamela Geller, Jamie Glazov and commenters here who post the truth. So now I am bringing up the hajjib because my nice neighbor from Uzbekistan told me that a Muslim woman is supposed to wear the hajjib so her beauty is concealed for everyone but her husband, and she removes it for when they are alone! My neighbor also said that single women wear the hajjib because it is a warning to men that the men cannot touch the women wearing the hajjib, it is protection. As I have learned, cultural Islam is best at propaganda, and my neighbor’s statements definitely go against the teachings and truth of Jamie Glazov’s statements.
Wellington says
Welcome aboard, Linde. Glad to see you at JW, which is just about the best site on the Internet for truthful information about Islam, and which is why, of course, it is so detested since those who won’t fight evil often hate those who do. And, as you pointed out, it is a very informed group who post here regularly, though kudos belong first and foremost to Robert Spencer who is one of the great Americans of our time.
Peggy says
You’re so right about people who are ready to fight eveil are hated by the ones who don’t. I get put down on some other sites when I try to warn people abou Islam. I often tell them to come here and learn something but I can see that I am wasting my time. They don’t visit this site and continue to tell me I am wrong. I still keep trying by telling them to come here and then rply to me.
It feels like so many are affected by evil that no amount of talking to them will make any difference. I am glad to see that some still come here and finally see the whole truth.
somehistory says
It is the psychology of dealing with danger.
I was born, and lived most of my life, in a hurricane prone area. When I was a kid, we were blown about on a regular basis. And my mother was one of those people who, when hearing that a storm was brewing, would begin to get ready. First, mentally. Then as the storm came closer and the path was being laid out…weathermen saying *within the week* etc, she began to actually make changes around the house and yard and telling us what to do about stuff we couldn’t afford to lose . By the time a hurricane arrived, we were snug and safe…hurricane lamps cleaned and filled, candles, matches, water and food we could eat without it being in the fridge and wood over the windows…unlike many of our neighbors.
Over the last few decades, there have been many large and destructive hurricanes. And some people have lost their lives because they didn’t believe the warnings. But there are also those ones who wait until the winds outside are nearing cat-`1 before they get to the local store for water and flashlight batteries. By then, the stores are over-run and out of everything, people grabbing stuff…demanding attention from the harried clerks… and driving in the strong winds that whip the cars around on the roads.. Some of these same people will stay in the most dangerous areas and then call emergency when the storm’s eye is outside their door.
Now, the way I see this is that the ordinary person does not like to admit that danger is headed their way, and if they do, will minimize it and ignore it until it smacks them in the face and then they try to prepare. Or call for help.
Facing danger is stressful People don’t like stress. They run from it, deny the danger, and hope it all goes away.
Those same kinds of people who refuse to listen to storm warnings will be the ones refusing to listen to the warnings about islam and the growing number of women in their neighborhood wearing the slave clothes and pretending it’s wonderful. Don’t admit the danger and just hope it goes away.
TheBuffster says
Peggy, I don’t worry about changing the mind of the people I argue with online. I know that there are a good number of people who read but never post. Also, people who seem thick as chowder while you’re arguing with them might be bugged by what you said and do some research later on. A few might, anyway.
I just post what I think is true for whoever has the honesty and interest to give it some intelligent consideration.
Remember that David Horowitz was once a New Left activist himself before his own experience and re-thinking brought him over to capitalism. Every seed you plant in a *seemingly* inhospitable mind may find a place to sprout when the time is right.
Jay Boo says
ditto, to Wellington’s comment
Mirren10 says
To Linde;
interesting, what your ‘nice neighbour from Uzbekistan’ told re the hijab.
Also very telling, is that these ‘hijabettes’ cover their * hair*, but have no problem larding their faces with make up, wearing tight jeans, and high heels. Somewher on the internet, (haven’time to look for it right now) is a photo of a hijabette wearing tight jeans, andslightly leaning forward whilst taking a phone pic, displays the bright pink *thong* she’s wearing.
This was posted by Istanbul Chick, who used to post here a great deal, at one time.
Which leads one to ask the question; what on earth is it about *hair* that islam considers so erotic ? Apparently, scarlet lips (mimicking sexual arousal) isn’t erotic, neither are tight jeans, ( showing off a slim waist and sexy bum), high heels ditto, and I’ve seen many a doe eyed hijabette wearing, not only tight jeans, but low cut blouses/t-shirts, as well. Presumably a cleavage isn’t erotic !
One also sees, not only teens, young and older women wearing it, but also *little girls of no more than two or three*. Islam sees little *toddlers* as
erotc objects.
So, as noted by Jamie Glazov and other commenters, the hijab has little or nothing to do with modesty, per se, and everything to do with marking oneself as special, superior, and is, in fact, much the same as gang ‘colours’, or other insignia.
Next time you talk to your hijabette neighbour, ask her why hair is so erotic, but anything else goes ! I’d love to hear her answer.
TheBuffster says
My guess about that is that the hijabette in the sexy clothes isn’t serious about Islam. It seems to me more of an ironic juxtaposition of the type I’d expect out of a girl from a nominally Muslim family wearing the hijab as a fashion lark. Tweaking noses of both serious Muslims and serious unbelievers alike.
But it would be interesting to find out what these girls have to say about their fashion choices.
James says
That is pure bunk! The purpose of the muslim costume is to intimidate..! American, Rrit males, etc are not the same sex-deprived, drooling, dangerous animals found on the streets in muslim countries. We are civilized human beings and have been raised to treat everybody with respect, including women. Islam and sharia do not belong in the current century, they are products of the dark ages and muslim mentality is a curious artifact from the very bad old days.
slave of allah says
we enjoy being Our Creator slaves with full submission, we hear and obey if you are truthful
gravenimage says
You “hear and obey” this savagery if you are mindless and have no moral sense.
Jay Boo says
Let’s begin with Islam’s most cherished duplicity.
THE HIJAB
The hijab (of modesty) would not have such negative connotations is not for Islam.
Unlike Islam, the hijab is not inherently soiled.
It is so sad that Islam has taken something neutral and turned it into something vile.
The hijab is the weapon of choice for Muslim males who use the example of purity to rationalize rape and plunder. We don’t need to do away with the hijab, just Islam.
In a no-Islam world, multi-cultural coexistence with the hijab would be a given.
Once you remove Islam you cleanse the hijab of all its Islam stain.
Women everywhere could were hijabs and still live in peace.
Peggy says
Without Islam, there would be no hijab.
Infidela says
A NON-MUSLIM woman in England who was wearing western clothing in a nightclub, had acid thrown in her face and has lost sight in one eye by two muslims, one a convert to Islam. This was done because she was dressed immodestly. This will happen again, and again and again to non-muslim women.
Troybeam says
The Hijab, its not a choice, Islam demand women cover themselves, its written in the Qur’an and in sharia law,
Qur’an chapter 33 #59 and chapter 24 #31
sharia law: w 23.0 page 899
All of the above requires women to cover themselves, it’s not a choice its a command, don’t believe what a Muslim tells you always research.
Teacher says
I agree with everything Jamie says in regard to the niqab or burqa, which cover the face. They are , essentially prisoners saying “fuck you” to Western society. Many Muslim women wear the hijab which does not cover the face. It is less of a prison and not a security risk as are the other items of clothing. Many who wear the hijab are Muslimas who do not even know the Koran, and come from ethical kind families that just cling to certain traditions for various reasons. They do not necessarily believe in Sharia or just have a foggy idea of all its totalitarian implications. I teach high school students some of whom wear hijabs. They integrate and are good friends with non Muslim kids. Hopefully, as they become more integrated into society, they will stop wearing the hijab. I do not like seeing hijabs, either, but feel that it is better to give women with hijabs the benefit of the doubt, and hope that they through friendship can widen their horizons and take those damn things off.
Wellington says
I understand and agree with much of what you asserted, Teacher, except this: “…it is better to give women with hijabs the benefit of the doubt.”
No it isn’t. Ever. Here you are wrong. If you doubt me, then just substitute “swastika’ for “hijab.” If you think this too harsh, then consider that the totalitarian ideology which is Nazism had power for only a couple of decades. By contrast, the totalitarian ideology which is Islam has, quite unfortunately, had sway for some 1400 years.
And, as both Bertrand Russell, a very liberal man, and Winston Churchill, a very conservative man, opined almost a century ago, Islam is, in effect, spiritual fascism. Churchill did this by way of many statements, for instance calling Mein Kampf “the new Koran” and saying of Islam, “No stronger retrograde force exists in the world.” Russell, on numerous occasions (e.g., in his “The Theory and Practice of Bolzhevism”), noted that Islam is the only major religion which is totalitarian in structure and ideology and this is why he likened it to Marxism and fascism.
I don’t mean to get on your case. I don’t mean to pile on. But no Muslim wearing the hijab, a burqa, a skull cap, et al. should ever be given “the benefit of the doubt.” The doubt about Islam was removed long, long ago for anyone with proper sense and knowledge, and thus any sartorial representation of Islam should be accorded no respect——at least in the mind of one who knows what Islam, the only religion that calls for war to be made upon the unbeliever “until all religion is with Allah” {Sura 8:39}, intends for all of the human race, which is spiritual and political totalitarianism for all.
Yes, no benefit of the doubt. Ever. To help you here, again just think Nazism when you’re confronted by anything Islamic. It will have a most salutary, accurate and clarifying effect. Guaranteed.
Gary Grammat says
That what is wrong with education system, first and foremost: TEACHERS! I am not going to be as gentle as Wellington was to you. Your post is utter nonsense, revealing simplicity of thought and ignorance.
Most moslems, women especially, have never read koran (as well as most christians have never read the bible). At some stage an imam will tell them that friendship with infidels is haram and they will follow. Koran cannot be questioned, they know that.
Talk to m-e christians, who lived, played, eat and helped moslems as the good neighbors do. They were well “integrated” untill one day moslems started to cut the heads of their “friends” and neighbors. Those christians, with similar simplicity of thought and ignorance, could not understand how it could happened.
There is enough just on this blog to learn and understand the nature of islam. Please, don’t embarras yourself again.
Teacher says
I am not embarrassing myself. I think the niqab that covers the face should be against the law in public places for security reasons and people should not be able to pose wearing them for their drivers’ licenses.
However, when we are talking about the hijab I have a different attitude. Like you, I feel that the hijab does represent things I detest such as the subjugation of women. It represents a fascist philosophy that has caused a tremendous amount of violence. The wearers of hijabs, though, are usually not so extreme or set in their beliefs as those wearing niqabs. Yes, I feel they do have negative attitudes towards Israel and Jews, and may not value freedom of speech and our constitution fully. I find this very offensive. As a teacher and an individual, though, I find myself in a position to engage with them on a personal level that does not just involve their religious and political beliefs. We get to know each other and they get to learn, grow and change.
When I say give them the benefit of the doubt, I mean there is room for change.
Thomas Dragt says
Muslim women who wear their bee keepers outfits are saying they are morally superior to us non Muslims. Of course they are not. But if you point that out somehow YOU ARE the racist bigot islamophobe…..utter nonsense

Hi,
My name is John.
I live in Toronto, the Islamic capital of North America, and, sometimes you see a 3-4 year old girl in the Hijab.
Also, I’d ask the Jihad Watch readers and writers to look up Aqsa Parvez.
The Hijab is the law in Iran, and, it was once taught that those women who do not wear it go to Hell.
Anyway, gals & guys… please keep Toronto on the radar.

Tommo says
A woman in a Hijab sitting near me on the train with her husband and two children kept staring at me and inciting her children to harass me. They were obnoxious and noisy and out of control. The husband was calling me names but never looking at me. This hate continued until I arrived at my stop when I gave the Musima a mouthful and quickly got off the train. I hadn’t realised until then how far the Islamification of our country has become and quite shaken by this experience. The horrible truth is that these pigs can get away with it because they know the police would support them against me and I would be labelled racist for complaining about this incident.
TheBuffster says
Tommo, that makes me think of the time that my husband and I were climbing some stairs up from the parking garage to pick up my Mom at the airport. As we were going up the stairs a Muslim family was going down the stairs into the garage. There was a man at the front, two boys of about eight and twelve, and a woman in black robes and a hijab. I don’t remember whether her face was covered or not, because as soon as I saw her I minded my own business, so as not to seem to be staring. I was very aware of my own bare arms and legs in the loose, A-line flowing dress I was wearing with the deep but narrow v-neckline, and my straw hat with the feather, compared with her totally covered situation. I did notice that she was wearing gloves in that hot weather.
As the eldest boy passed me he *leaned in close to my face* and said one word to me in his language with *utter contempt* in his voice and on his face. I have little doubt that he called me a whore.
My blood pressure rose and adrenaline coursed through my blood. I felt like grabbing the little twerp by the throat and giving him a piece of my mind, but I calmly passed by.
I know that I didn’t do anything to bring on that insult – I mean, I didn’t look at his mother with contempt or any look that could have been insulting to her. I never express anything at all when I see a woman in full Islamic oppression-wear. So all it could have been was the way that *I* was dressed.
I don’t know whether the father knew what happened, but the mother was right behind the nasty boy, and she didn’t crack a boo. I turned around to see.
Tommo says
Buffster, I had a similar incident when out walking and a Muslim women with her brood were coming the other way. Her eldest son, aged about 8 went to kick me as they drew level. I saw it coming and fended it off with my walking stick. The Muslima said nothing and I called them a few names sotto voce. I don’t think it matters what you wear or how you look you can never be anything else but inferior to Muslims and they reaffirm it every time they insult a non-Muslim.
Simone Fields says
My lovely Somalian Muslim neighbour happened to be walking past as I and my 2 small dogs were getting out of the car. She instantly took off her shoe and holding it high above her head began to try and hit them with it because they came up to her. She was screaming ” I am a Muslim and I hate dogs”
As a dog owner (I’m British) I am finding more and more of these people who go out of their way to avoid them while out walking, either on a lead or in the park. It is crazy. That means they probably don’t visit any of the beautiful places we have in England because you find people that own dogs usually take them there.
Mirren10 says
Oh, how I **wish** something like that would happen to me !
I would absolutely , have a field day !
But no-one ever does ask me. Odd, really, when I consider that I have frequently been in the same place as these pur portedly ‘lets ask the British public’ scams have taken place. 🙂
Actually, no, it isn’t remotely funny, What we are seeing here, is a **deliberate** hijacking of the truth, from what used to be known as the Fourth Estate, but is now nothing more than a lackey for the PC/MC suicidal meme. Faugh.
Simone Fields says
There was a television programme 2 years ago in England called ‘My Hometown’ by Stacey Dooley (look on YouTube) where she visits Luton which has a lot of fanatical Muslims. As she walked past in a pretty summer dress a burqa clad woman walked past her and said “who are you trying to seduce?”
I really sympathise with you, this is the ugliness we are facing in England with them looking down on us.
Tommo says
Simone, Replying to your earlier post. Somalians are the worst of immigrants and are indolent, radical and clanish. They have wrecked their country with 20-years of civil war and have moved into Kenya destabilising theirs. In the UK they shot and killed a WPC who approached them after robbing a shop and closed ranks so that the police couldn’t find the murders. Somalians are most unlikely to find work wherever they settle being poorly educated, arrogant and stupid.

Very good Jamie. Keep them coming.
