A hadith depicts Muhammad saying: “Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him” (Bukhari 9.84.57). The death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law according to all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence. This is still the position of all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence, both Sunni and Shi’ite. Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the most renowned and prominent Muslim cleric in the world, has stated: “The Muslim jurists are unanimous that apostates must be punished, yet they differ as to determining the kind of punishment to be inflicted upon them. The majority of them, including the four main schools of jurisprudence (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi`i, and Hanbali) as well as the other four schools of jurisprudence (the four Shiite schools of Az-Zaidiyyah, Al-Ithna-`ashriyyah, Al-Ja`fariyyah, and Az-Zaheriyyah) agree that apostates must be executed.”
“‘Boko Haram Marked me for Death Because I Converted to Christianity,'” Nigerian Bulletin, October 4, 2015 (thanks to Lookmann):
Nigeria – A 35-year old man has disclosed how Boko Haram insurgents burnt his stores, father’s house, offices, and thereafter killed one of his cousins, who was an undergraduate at the University of Maiduguri.
According to Raphael, trouble started when he converted to the Christian faith contrary to the wishes of his father, family members and neighbours.
“A few months after my conversion to Christianity, I received several threats and warnings from the insurgents, telling me to revert to my former religion or face dire consequences. I received written threats saying I could only run but could not hide, which I took to the Police and they told me they would do something about it, but nothing was done. If they had done something about it, I wouldn’t have received the second note that said I could only run but could not hide,” he said.
“I was born in Maiduguri, Borno State, but my father was from Oyo State while my mother was born in Abuja. Both of them had been living in Maiduguri before I and my siblings were born. My father is a Muslim, and I was born into a Muslim home. I am into buying and selling of animal skins, a business I started after my National Diploma (ND) education at The Polytechnic, Ibadan in 2007/2008, and I have so many people working under me.
“In 2012, I lost my mum to illness, and towards the end of that year, I converted from Islam to Christianity. My father and all other Muslims around the neighborhood who knew my father were not happy with my conversion, because my father is one of the leaders of the Islamic group, Nasru lahi fathi (Nasfat) branch in Maiduguri.
“I am a member of the youth association in Gwange ward, and I give them financial assistance and sometimes release my bus to them for developmental projects.
“I conducted my own investigations. One of my neighbours whose brother received the same notes because of his conversion a few years ago was killed by an unknown killer.
“My family members and I have been marked for death, and everyone in the community denied ever knowing me or my family because they said I was one of the people supporting the youth with finance and cars to protest against them and kill their members.”…

Another story of incredible courage and faith from Christians who risk everything to be Christians,
in stark contrast to so-called Christian leaders in the West like the Archbishop of Canterbury, a craven coward. Talk about heroes and villains.

With all these courageous converts to Christianity from Islam, many Christian clergy still don’t realize the differences between the two faiths and between their ethical systems.
Christian clergy need a crash course in Islam and should all be given Robert Spencer’s books and those of Canon Durie to do so.

What an inspiring story of this young man! Unfortunately millions of people in the west don’t comprehend, let alone appreciate, what this young man and thousands of ex-Muslims, who converted to Christianity, are sacrificing and the great risk they’re taking in doing so.

Hear hear! Remember Mohamamed Mansour who converted to Christianity. Al Shabaab captured him and demanded he revert to Islam. The brave man refused. They called all the village together for an important event. Mansour was led forward, his hands tied behind his back, made to kneel, and had his head cut off with a knife from behind. This was all proudly recorded on video.
There have been more and more such stories of brave martyrdom. One of the victims beheaded on the beach in Libya was not a Christian. When he saw how steadfast the Copts were in their faith he told his captors that he accepted their Christian god as his.
How remote the cosseted West is – for the time being – from Islam’s cruel inflexibility. It will come, though. The warnings are all there.

Those Christians who do not stand by their own committed Flock today to ‘engage’ in made up, nonsense circular dialog will be damned by their coreligionists of the future and G-d. The Muslims are laughing at them as a dream come true that there are people so stupid in this World and re-enforces their view of the infidel.
