Rogue cops who act as servants of powerful elites are not limited to Pakistan, but in this instance, the police share the Islamic supremacist ideology of Muslim mobs who terrorize Christians over false blasphemy accusations, and did their bidding. The Pakistani blasphemy laws are an occasion of ongoing human rights abuses, but no one seems particularly concerned: after all, no “Islamophobia” is being committed, so what’s the problem?
“Sargodha: Police fabricated false blasphemy accusation againt [sic] 24-year-old Christian,” Christians in Pakistan, October 19, 2015:
Court hearing of a Christian youth accused of blasphemy postponed.
In keeping with details, court hearing of Naveed John, resident of Sargodha has been postponed because of the fact that the judge was on leave. Naveed was charged of 295-C (blasphemy law) over blasphemy accusations on October 8. It has been reported that Naveed is pining away behind the bars.
The defence counsel of Naveed is ready to defend him during the blasphemy suit. The legal team defending him, when appeared in the court for the hearing they were told that the judge was on leave and so the police would not present Naveed in the court nor will they present their findings over the case. Moreover, the case is scheduled to be heard on 20th October.
It was on October 8, that a police constable Muhammad Naeem lodged a complaint against 24-year-old, Christian, Naveed John claiming that he has seen Naveed disrespecting the Quran and Islam. Moreover, the claimant Muhammad Naeem said that Naveed John had a sword with Quranic verses engraved on it and he placed that sword next to his feet and legs. Thus by placing that sword next to his legs and feet he had shown contempt, thus committed blasphemy. Soon after an FIR no.619/15 was lodged, police hooked Naveed.
It has been learnt that Naveed had been praying for people with physical sicknesses and demon possessed people. He was know for this in his area and so people from other religions also came to him for prayers. The sword which has been the cause of the accusations was actually gifted to Naveed by one of his Muslim devotees which Naveed took from him and placed it in his prayer room.
On the other hand, the family of Naveed John are facing threats and are in fear of any possible attempt of revenge from the Muslims. Advocate Sadaf Saddique, Sakhawat Masih- elder brother of Naveed revealed that just a few days prior to Naveed’s arrest police arrived at their home and asked for a huge sum of money as a bribe, in return of providing them security.
Furthermore, police threatened them that if they fail to give the amount demanded, the family would have to face dire consequences. Sakhawat Masih stated that Naveed did not ask for money from any one who came to him for prayer. In such circumstances it was not possible to give such a huge amount o the police, he said. He alleged that police arrested Naveed from a street and later on, the police raided the house and forcibly took the sword and fabricated the whole story.

Unfortunately, they will probably still punish him severely. Perhaps for wasting the cops time?

The reality of the truths so much needs to be reiterated. Which is that “blasphemy” charges can be made against Christians by Muslims for no other reason then for a Christian speaking of the basic doctrines of the the Bible that compose the very essence of the Christian faith. Islam must be a very weak and fragile religion if Christians can’t even talk about Bible doctrines and doctrines. Just of give only of many important Christian doctrine that are found in the Bible, and also contradict Islam, is the Biblical doctrine that Jesus is the the Son of God. . Some of the many places that the Bible teaches that Jesus is the Son of God are as follows, Matthew 3:16,17. 16:15,16. John 3:16,17, 36. First John 2:22,23. 4:14,15. 5:12,13,20. What are those imams really afraid of ? Is just talking about Bible doctrines by Christians something that will cause Islam to collapse ?

Walter Sieruk, I agree with what you say – Jesus is the Light which shines in the darkness of Islamic hearts and nations and shows them the evil intrinsic in this demonically-inspired ideology. They cannot bear the Light so must extinguish it in all who bear His likeness.
The notorious Blasphemy Law in Pakistan is the cause of much misery to Christians who are increasingly being imprisoned and tortured on trumped-up charges. As has been noted before, these are most often used to settle personal scores, drive Christian families out of villages and acquire their property. No evidence is required, no Bible verse needs to be quoted – just the very presence of a Christian is enough to set their murderous juices flowing.
I believe that Satan is having his last ‘hurrah’ and is ratcheting up his attacks on those who love and serve Jesus Christ. In essence this is the beginning of the deeply spiritual battle for the souls of mankind which Jesus spoke of and which is described as ‘labour pains’ before His coming. More Christians have been persecuted and killed for their faith in the last 50 years than in the last 2000 years and the numbers are increasing at an unprecedented rate.
This poor man is just one of the estimated 150-200 million Christians being persecuted today in Islamic and Communist nations. It’s an outrage that so few churches are prepared to support our suffering brothers and sisters in Christ. Even the Pope speaks out of both sides of his mouth – objecting and appealing for Catholics in Pakistan while cosying up to Muslim leaders on the other.
The work on the ground is being shared by various Christian agencies which advocate for, and support, the persecuted. They take seriously the heart of Jesus for those who suffer for His name. We who are free are to remember them as if we were alongside them (Heb 13:3). They are mentioned in the Beatitudes as those who will inherit the Kingdom of God (Matt 5:10-11). Supporting the prisoner of faith is one of the criteria for judging the sheep and the goats in Matt 25:36 (“I was in prison and you came to me”). So few Christians seem to realise the importance of this discourse. I’ve been a church rep for one of these agencies for the last six years and have been abundantly blessed by it. Any Christian who is disturbed by the suffering of the persecuted can do the same. All it needs is the heart to do something about it, and the willingness of your church leaders to encourage you.

……………………
It should not surprise that laws which are inherently unjust are also abused. How could they not be?
I hope that Naveed John and his family are able to get out of Pakistan–there is no future for the tiny remnant of oppressed Christians and other Infidels remaining there.

Indeed.

Pakistan is a Muslim State.
Israel is a Jewish State
Rather than tolerate supremacist Muslims, shouldn’t Jews criminalize Islam?
All Imams to then receive lengthy prison sentences.
All mosques flattened to rubble.
Muslims caught praying to be publicly fogged or go straight to jail.
The UN won’t be able to complain without explaining, Pakistan, Iran, and so on.

It is a clear case of police extortion and religious persecution.

Because of Islam, the Religion of Peace, ‘The Land of the Pure’, has practically no crime, so some police entertain themselves by framing Christians. It’s OK to do that, they are Christians after all…

Why does the UN do nothing about the persecution of Christians in Pakistan, why doesn’t the Pope complain about the persecution of Christians in this hell-hole ? Has there ever been a more worthless organisation, or a more ineffectual Pope ?
