“Leading members of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah party, Azzam Al-Ahmad and General Sultan Abu Al-Einen, praised the attack, Gendelman said. He added that General Al-Einen, who serves as Abbas’ adviser on NGOs, called for more attacks on Israelis.” Remember, this was an attack on a young civilian couple that left their four small children orphans.
“Of course, Israel cannot be expected to negotiate with anyone who is dedicated to its destruction. But while I know you have had differences with the Palestinian Authority, I believe that you do have a true partner in President Abbas…” — Barack Obama, March 21, 2013
“Palestinians Launch Fireworks, Wave Flags to Celebrate Brutal Murder of Israeli Couple,” Algemeiner, October 2, 2015:
Throngs of Palestinians took to the streets on Thursday night to celebrate the brutal slaying of an Israeli couple in a shooting attack in the West Bank.
The festivities included the launching of fireworks and the waving of flags in the streets, Ofir Gendelman, a spokesperson for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.
Gendelman posted on Twitter a photo of the scene. Most of the flying banners were of the Palestinian Fatah faction, the armed wing of which claimed responsibility for the attack that killed Eitam and Naama Henkin. Revelers in Nablus, near the site of the shooting, set off fireworks, he said, adding that Palestinians on social media networks were “ecstatic” about the killings.
The Henkins, who were in their early 30s, were shot dead on Thursday night in northern Samaria while travelling in their vehicle near the Palestinian village of Beit Furik. Paramedics found them at the scene with bullet wounds to their torsos. Their four children, who were in the backseat of the car, were unharmed. The couple was buried on Har Hamenuchot in the Givat Shaul neighborhood of Jerusalem on Friday morning.
Leading members of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah party, Azzam Al-Ahmad and General Sultan Abu Al-Einen, praised the attack, Gendelman said. He added that General Al-Einen, who serves as Abbas’ adviser on NGOs, called for more attacks on Israelis.
Rival Palestinian terror group Hamas also applauded the attack. Spokesman Husam Badran congratulated Palestinians on the killings and referred to the shooting as a “heroic operation.”…

Karen says
“…referred to the shooting as a “heroic operation.”…
Yes, what could be more heroic than the premeditated, first degree murder of civilians? And why the military language? I believe there is no ambiguity here; the savages were emboldened by the PA’s abandonment of the Oslo accords the previous day, and felt they had been given permission. And indeed they have been! Expect more savagery.

Yeah, Karen–we see what Muslims consider “heroic”–murdering two unarmed civilians, one of them a woman–who were probably more concerned about the safety of their kids than anything else.
There’s a reason why Muslims consider all non-Muslim lands to be Dar-al-Harb, or the “house of war”–all Infidels are considered targets.
God, I hate Islam.
Karen says
Dar-al-Harb…..chilling. The ultimate label for ‘the other’, what the Left is always harping about.

How long Israel???you are powerful and GOD is with you and it seems as though God has turned his back on America.

Just think how much celebrating Iran will do when they can detonate several Obama gifted nuke “satellites” 100 miles over the US. They will celebrate for months.
Also, how long before the celebrations start in Europe with the mass Muslim invasion ongoing there. Did they bring their drowning cages with them.
DeMolay says
Only Muslims behave like this and somehow retain sympathy and support round the world. Imagine if Jews or Christians carried on like this? What is wrong with the world that people can celebrate the murder of innocent parents and the world just glosses over it.
It’s disgusting and a disgrace. Wake up world. Islam needs to be reviled for the evil man made death cult it is, that attracts sexual predators and sadist cowardly scum.
Angemon says
Surprising no one…

When people agree with killings done by others, they are guilty of the killings, even if they are miles away from the scene of the murders. All those in agreement with the murders, are murderers.
As they celebrate the death of innocents, satan the devil is chortling with glee. They are doing his bidding, and he is giddy.
He is bound for the pit of fire. They are his children and are sentencing themselves to go to the pit with him.
These actions and the words and statements of the hamas, plo, etc. are nothing less than demonic. Anyone and everyone supporting them are supporting demons.

“Palestinian” Muslims launch fireworks, wave flags to celebrate brutal jihad murder of Israeli couple
………………………………
When I first heard about Muslims handing out candy and celebrating in the streets after 9/11, I was shocked and disgusted.
Now, I am no longer shocked.
Muslims are usually joyless–the fact that one of the very few things that gives them obvious pleasure is the murder of innocent people–in this case an unarmed civilian couple right in front of their kids–is the greatest indictment of Islam I can think of.
Pagael John says
It will not be long before the situation in the Middle East (Syria, Turkey, Lebanon) will soon focus Western and USA minds about the Arab Spring they are partially responsible for and the appeasment of Islamic ideology will give a serious wakeup call to their politicians where the people have had enough of this barbarism. Expect some serious changes in Israel with regards to the West Bank and Gaza. The arabs going under the ‘Palestinian’ flag will soon find their backsides filling Syria and Jordan. It will happen VERY quickly once past a tipping point.

Why do you look with hatred, O many-peaked mountain, at the mount that God desired for his abode, yes, where the LORD will dwell forever? – Psalm 68:16
The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the other dwelling places of Jacob. – Psalm 87:2
“This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it.” – Psalm 132:14
“The Lord will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah. In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the Lord before them. It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.” – Zechariah 12:7-9

Question: Why do you call him Christian?
Question: How do you know who are his *Brothers*?
All of the verses quoted in his comment are from the Hebrew Scriptures and speak of what God,,,The LORD…will do for Israel. The article is about something going on in Israel, so the Scriptures quoted are more than appropriate.
If he is a Christian, just why do you think he should tell you what he has done for his *Brothers*…including if he had bought guns for others in Africa?
Davegreybeard says
And who the hell are you?
More specifically, what’s your point, loudmouth?
somehistory says
Just why do you ask in such a hostile way? And how can you tell how loud someone speaks when all you see are words on your computer?
If you can’t tell what my point is from what I wrote, then you have a larger problem than I originally thought you had.
You may need the assistance of a Jewish person, or a Christian someday. For your sake, you should hope he/she knows and shows forgiveness.

There is zero chance of any sort of peace settlement occurring while Abbas and the Palestinian authorities continue to churn out the vile anti Jew propaganda that’s on their television screens and in school classrooms. Same for Gaza and Hamas. What really can Israel do? The land the Palestinians demand would leave Israel with borders that could not be defended, next to a people that hate them and are only waiting for an opportunity to drive them into the sea.
Lenny Thetruth says
Are they acting in concert? I mean, there was a problem here, and a problem there, and unmitigated sniping for so long, it is mostly not even a matter of world concern. The US is backing away from being a moral leader in the world. This will help the economy, of course, but we will lose lot of prestige in thiss world. The US wouldn’t have Kerry at the UN for Bibi, so it’s anybody’s guess where the US will turn next (or back away).
The P.A. is worse than the UN. (The UN put Saudi Arabia in charge of in charge of Human Rights). But the P.A. is a semi functional government agency that conducts business for the Palestinians. As any governmental agency, the also have a police force. which almost did nothing, if it did do anything. Now they have withdrawn form peace arrangements. They are no longer valid. legally speaking, as they will be put under Israeli law enforcement. It’s either that, or the People of Israel will run rampant over the countryside doing what they are taught never to do. Kill.
Alarmed Pig Farmer says
One of the greatest injustices committed against Islam here in America was when, after the Twin Towers collapsed, the street celebrations held in Queens and northern New Jersey were totally ignored by the media, as if they didn’t happen. I always felt this was proof of Islamophobia, cthat the white men running this country are unwilling to grant Moslems their fair place on the TV sets of this great nation.
Kudos to these Moslems setting off fireworks and waving flags in the West Bank. As an American taxpayer I am proud to help pay for the good times.

I do not say that all ‘palestinians’ are bad people. For example there was one who sheltered some Israels from a mob recently. However these who celebrate cold blooded murder like the ones who also danced in the street after 9/11 are complete scum.

Shut off the electricity for a week and let them celebrate that…
Karen says
Are these ‘heroes’ also hijackers of the true, peaceful Islam? Because they are fully backed up by the Palestinian Authority, that darling of the left, President Obama, and other great geniuses of our time. Yet I still have not hear any outcry, repudiation, distancing from, or public shaming of the PA. I can only read this as giving a pass to the PA and its degenerate murderer-clients.

@somehistory
“Just why do you ask in such a hostile way?”
What’s with the hostile questions, Christian? I replied in the same manner that you addressed me.
I find the quoting of scripture as an end in itself (as in “Elisha” above) to be TIRESOME. This is so particularly when I reflect on how disappointed I am in Christians in general. They should be of much more help to their persecuted Brothers and Sisters, and to the rest of mankind in general – but they’re not.
I get a real feeling, that when a Christian quotes scripture in that stentorian voice, that they really think they’ve done something.
“The Lord will save the tents of Judah…”
Well he’s sure taking his sweet time about it, with lots of detours along the way in the form of enslavement, physical persecution and genocide.
After 1400 years of bloody murder, it’s time to put “The Promise of the Lord” aside and focus on what we actually need to DO to defeat the Islamic enemy.
The Lord will do as he will and not all of us believe that someone who wrote a book thousands of years ago got all of it exactly right.
somehistory says
“Who the hell are you” is not the same as the questions I asked of you. (“Why do you call him Christian?”)
Calling me a “loudmouth” is not the same as the questions I asked you.
And when someone *quotes Scripture*…you are not required to read it or abide by it or believe it.
He has as much right to quote it as you do to dislike it or disagree with it. And quoting is not in any particular *voice.* That comes from how you read what he quoted.
On this page of the site, the discussion is about Israel. Israel was founded for the Jewish people. The verses he wrote are all about the subject of God or The LORD saving Israel.
So, I am of the mind that he could be Jewish or even live in Israel. Since he did not say, only he knows.
God acts in His own time and in His own ways. None of us can decide if He has acted in a timely manner. God sees things His way and does things according to His time table. It may not be what we wish, or expect or pray for. We may feel we have all waited too long. But it is His choice.
So, it has been thousands of years that mankind has been inflicting pain, suffering and death on others of mankind.
Suppose a *Christian* decided that it was his/her *Christian* duty to send weapons to other Christians in some other country. First of all, if found out, that person would likely end up in jail facing prison for gun-running.
Secondly, if that person did in fact buy and send weapons to Christians in another country, it is not inconceivable that the authorities in that other country…who might just be the ones allowing or participating/directing the persecution of the Christians and would likely be able to confiscate the guns.
Thirdly, even if he sent guns and a boat load of ammo, it wouldn’t stop the moslims from doing what they are doing all over the world.
Fourthly, if the Christian or non-Christian decides to try something like that in order to help those being killed or tortured, etc., it is not the business of another to know about it.
You are entitled to your belief or lack there-of. It matters not to me what you believe or if you think you should run guns. It was just your hostile response to someone who quoted what they believe to be true and right and look to for relief for the Jews in Israel.
You say what you find TIRESOME. Well, now what I find tiresome are the people who constantly criticize those who choose to quote Scripture, or say they pray or otherwise show a Faith in the True God and mean absolutely no harm or disrespect to others who do not share their views about God and what He will or will not do about the problem of islam and the slaughter of innocent people around the globe.
Davegreybeard says
As I said, Christian, TIRESOME.
somehistory says
Well, then go and get you some rest, child. You seem to need it.
Davegreybeard says
Preach to your Brothers and Sisters, Christian, and explain to them the evil that is Islam – it’s what YOU can do.
The rest of us will have to fight these bastards with physical force. Most probably with GUNS – but it’s an article of faith with you that that “will never work.” Right, Christian?
somehistory says
Oh, mr. beard, you think you are a mind reader and can see through computers and into other countries and cities and through walls and observe what all other people are doing. And more than that: what each one thinks and feels and the decisions they have made and on what basis and with what reason they have made them. And you judge people. You judge people you do not know and have never even seen based on things you have heard someone at some time say. Maybe several someones and on several occasions
You judge based on your inability to see beyond your own fear and anger You judge based on what you wish you could do, not what you or others are actually capable of doing.
Are you able to take up a gun and go and stop all of the killing? Or do you come here to this site to express your frustration and anger because you cannot stop it? And you don’t see anyone else stopping it.
You do what you think is right and what you are able. And I’ll do the same for me. Whether or not you agree with me or think I should do differently 🙂
