In this new episode of The Unknown, Anni Cyrus helps us in Understanding the Islamic Republic Through the Qur’an.

Thank you for this work.
I can tell you that I became very interested in Islam following Sept 11, 2001. This country was fully ignorant of Islam, of Sharia and of Islamic world history. There was a sense that it was just another religion, very similar to Christianity.
Now, the knowledge is building due to the availability of the internet and not the national media or this administration. Islam is antithetical to all of what the Constitution of the USA requires because Sharia is required to be the law of the land. Period. No discussion.
Anni Cyrus says
Well said!

Thanks for your analyses, Anni. Every time someone observes and accurately describes Islam, its house of cards (held together by the glue of lies and death threats) shakes and shudders. The inevitable collapse of Islam will occur when people generally throw off the EMOTIONAL responses conditioned by both FEAR of jihad and cultural Marxist multicult propaganda.
Your contribution is appreciated.

I have TRIED to talk to people about the Koran in this manner, and the other side’s excuse is it’s WE, who mistranslated the Koran.
WE are the ones making the Koran sound more violent because WE don’t understand the nuances, subtleties and cultural inflections of Islamic culture.
They just refuse to believe that our bookshelf English versions of the Koran are the SOFTENED ONES.
After the Ontario honor killings about three years ago, somebody wrote in an article to the city paper that Muslims by and large were being unjustly tarred by this incident, so I wrote in the editorial, about how I’d lived in several Muslim countries for extended periods, and witnessed personally in every single one, exactly how women are treated there.
I wasn’t vulgar or rude, I just said what I saw, and only became aware my piece had been published after family members began calling, (All joking) (Sort of) “What the blank did you do?!!! Now we all gotta go into hiding!!!”
In next week’s editorial I was excoriated by a (I can only assume to be liberal) woman, who went on and on about how she’d been over to the Middle East, (In what capacity, I can’t remember anymore. business executive of some kind, the wife of one, or some upper crust tourist) and she’d been treated with nothing but courtesy and respect.
She just didn’t get that she had been there in a protective bubble if she was “chauffeured” everywhere, because who doesn’t want a persona chauffeur?
I bet she didn’t even know women couldn’t drive there.
And unless she understood Arabic, I’d bet the chauffeur was also bodyguard, warning others this foreign woman was “protected” and “Me and the boss’ll rip your lungs out if she is harmed.”
With traditional Islamic nuances, subtleties and cultural inflections emphasized.
Oh and this woman also called me either racist or Islamophobic.
Anni Cyrus says
Hello Dan,
Great point you made there. Exactly the reason I figured me doing this can not be excused as I was raised in Iran and thought Qur’an at school and also Arabic so they can’t pull that card on me

There are quite a few Islamic women in the US who the Muslims like to point to as examples of their great respect for women. Have worked with female medical residents from Pakistan for several years I can tell you that many of them live like slaves. Yes, they are allowed to get an education but they also are forced to marry and serve the husband’s family Not only do they have their studies to take care of but they must also prepare the homemade bread and meals plus do ALL the laundry for the husband’s parents and other relatives that are brought to the US with them.
American medical residents think they have it bad? They should have to take a week as a married Islamic woman!

Even death is no escape for a Muslim wife..
A husband is allowed to have sex with his wife up to six hours after death.

Cecilia Ellis says
That’s disgusting!
Jay Boo says
That is Islam — according to the so-called apostle of Allah who claimed to receive revelations. In Islam Truth is truly stranger than fiction.
Cecilia Ellis says
That is disgusting!
Jay Boo says
Muslim men put women in the same category as livestock animals.
Muslim men are even permitted to have sex with farm animals.
Presumably, their sheep would have to reach the age of Islamic consent; 9 years old.
I am not sure if that is in human years or sheep years.
Anni Cyrus says
Elli,
100% true statement you make here. On any Islamic country there are 0 rights for women
Huck Folder says
That’s islamophobic.
Zero is a Hindu concept.
Anni Cyrus says
I hope that was a joke

Recite, Recite — Muslim men
Muslim men call Muhammad their prophet with a straight face.
Their shamelessness is because no one is holding them accountable for Muhammad’s buffoonery.
CNN — it is long past time to reveal what a pathetic laughable joke is Muhammad’s so-called revelations during his wet dream about prophet-hood .
R Cole says
I think under Iranian law – even as a woman’s word is worth half a man’s – women in Iran enjoy only a third of the rights as a Muslim man. If you are a non-Muslim Iranian then your rights are further reduced.

Muhammad reportedly got up to some pretty strange things – behavior that would normally discredit a leader of a faith – whose example was to be emulated. It is not surprising that Muslims are on the defensive. Normal people – or the average Muslim – doesn’t think like Muhammad – but rather than Muslims asking why should that be – they plug the holes in their faith with – It’s God’s will!!
The Saudis even had to shut down one of Muhammad’s more bizarre commands – that of adult breastfeeding [of the husband’s male friends – so that the wife could be considered as their mother – a solution between the separation between men and women – clearly the Saudis would rather keep them separate – they fired the Imam who raised the issue.]
With Jesus – most of the things he did – could be described as saintly – turn the other cheek – and even when he was having fun – he was turning water into wine at wedding. But for Muhammad – how did he see instructing his followers on the correct way to carry out the practice of necrophilia – as helping mankind.
It’s nothing short of mind boggling.

Back to Iran
There was a Sunni who traveled with the Ayatollah Khomeini – when he was still an Imam – as the story goes – they stopped for the evening where a dinner was thrown for him – and at the end of the night Khomeini requested and was gladly given the host’s four year old daughter as a temporary wife for the night.
There is a rule in Islam for everything.
::
We’re now being told we must respect Islam – we can respect the Iranian people – but what we feel or don’t feel about a religious belief is up to us.
nacazo says
She forgot to mention a “jewel” from An-Nisa 4:34. Men can beat their wife if he “fears disobedience” not because she sinned or commited adultery or anything, just because the man is afraid she will be disobedient then beat her. And just in case, Mohamed also beat Aisha according to sahih Muslim book 004 number 2127.
Anni Cyrus says
nacazo, Thank you! I only get about 10 min on each episode so I have to break down An-Nisa to 5 episodes 🙂
gravenimage says
Yes–I was thinking of Qur’an 4:34 as well, nacazo.
Cecilia Ellis says
Anni, I do not expect you to be a politician or a religious scholar; I expect you to be exactly who you are — a very courageous, dedicated, informative, and respected witness to the status of women under sharia law. Your humble, straightforward delivery is inspiring. The truth you speak is piercing for those who have not walked in your shoes. Dismiss those occasional attempts to diminish your presentations, for they say much more about the originators than they do of you. Thank you for who you are and for all you do. Change nothing.
Anni Cyrus says
Cecilia Ellis, Thank you! I will remain the same no matter what as who I am helped me get here and with all good and bad I can say I am happy I made it this far
Joseph says
Anni Cyrus,
Are you considering going on tour to help spread the word? I for sure would bring my family and friends to see you so that they can get a first hand account on what is really going on.
If not tours how about radio appearances? I am pretty sure that the Christian radio station WVCY in Milwaukee Wisconsin would love to have you on.
May GOD bless you and yours and give you strength in the days ahead.
Anni Cyrus says
Hello Joseph,
Thank you for all your kind words. I would love to do such thing but at the moment there is no help and i have no idea how to go about any of that. I was able to do these videos because i have been in production for about 9 years and know how to make videos

More great stuff from the courageous Anni Cyrus–thank you!
And there is an even more direct Qur’anic reason for the testimony of a woman being worth just half of that of a man than Islamic inheritance laws–Qur’an 2:282 says:
“And bring to witness two witnesses from among your men. And if there are not two men [available], then a man and two women from those whom you accept as witnesses – so that if one of the women errs, then the other can remind her.”
And this is specifically confirmed in this Sahih Hadith:
Bukhari (6:301) – “[Muhammad] said, ‘Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?’ They replied in the affirmative. He said, ‘This is the deficiency in her intelligence.'”
And Qur’an 2:228 says more generally:
“and the men are a degree above them [women]”
The fact is that the inferiority of women is a core tenet of Islam.
Anni Cyrus says
gravenimage Thank you! Absolutely great points you made
Joseph says
Sorry Anni, it is me again. I suggested tours and radio shows but how about co-authoring a book with Robert Spencer? I promise that if you(both) write it I will but two. One for me to read and lend another for a church library in Wisconsin.
Anni Cyrus says
Joseph, don’t be sorry. It is great to hear your suggestions and it would be an honor to write a book with Mr. Spencer.
