“‘We have implemented Allah’s ruling against them, which is the death sentence,’ said the flier that was also posted on walls in the area. ‘We call upon all Muslims to cooperate with us against this widespread depravity,’ it said.” Not that this has anything to do with Islam.
“Qaeda in Yemen claims killing of ‘sorcerers,'” AFP, October 10, 2015 (thanks to C. Cantoni):
Al-Qaeda in Yemen claimed on Saturday to have killed four men suspected of practising witchcraft and sorcery in an area controlled by the jihadists.
Residents of Mayfaa town in the southeastern province of Hadramawt said Al-Qaeda militants had distributed a pamphlet naming the four men.
It did not say when the killings were carried out, but a neighbour of one of the victims told AFP that he had been missing for days.
“We have implemented Allah’s ruling against them, which is the death sentence,” said the flier that was also posted on walls in the area.
“We call upon all Muslims to cooperate with us against this widespread depravity,” it said.
Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, or AQAP, has overran large parts of Hadramawt, including Mukalla, the coastal provincial capital.
It imposed a strict version of Islamic law, executing or lashing those they accused of various crimes, among them homosexuality and sorcery.
Those accused of theft have their hands cut off….
That is not a “strict version of Islamic law.” There is no version of Sharia that does not contain those punishments.

Ahh, yes. When things go wrong there are unseen forces, controlled by some occult practitioner, at work. Distraction from failure or a land grab, it works wonders. True cave man logic from the 21st century cavemen.
How many of these mystics will be found? Will Daesh adopt the new trend? Will killing them be weekly entertainment for the Ummah?

I think it was a few years ago, Iran accused Israel and the Mossad of causing droughts, floods, and other various NATURAL occurrences (note, the floods and droughts were in different areas) .
I believe that Hamas also accused Israel of causing bad weather and other “calamities” to happen (in Gaza). (The biggest calamity- -make that good thing- that could happen in Gaza is an all out civil war-strictly in Gaza- and perhaps have the jihadists in Sinai thrown in, and they kill each other. And their Useless Nations puippets

I must disagree with your 21st century caveman comment, you are off 17 centuries.
What matters is the structure of Islam and its compulsory nature and the fact that Mohammed said since Islam is perfect Muslims must NEVER negotiate or reform ANYTHING at all because to change from perfect to something else would be wrong. So he made it impossible for Islam to ever reform, hence we have the 4th century mindset still alive and well today and in fact controlling Islam.

Or for whatever other reason – who’s going to stand up and ask for evidence that the deceased were in fact practicing witchcraft?

We have implemented Allah’s ruling against them, which is the death sentence…
There been a lot of that lately. Really, for us it started way back in ’93 with the first mass murder attack on the World Trade Center, and it’s been a stead drip drip drip of death sentence ruling implementations since.
Speaking of implementation, just wait til the felon Hillary gets elected, she will finally be able to implement her ruling that criticism of a religion is a felony crime. She’ll be able to do that, now that Prez Barack Hussein has established that it’s ok to issue legislation from the Oval Office, he’s got a pen and a phone and all that.

In modern times, I think the jihad serpent reared its head again in 1979.
The Shah of Iran was overthrown in ’79. This led to Hizballah terror, the Marine barracks bombing, Khobar Towers, EFP IEDs in Iraq, and so much more Shia murder since then.
The Soviets invaded Afghanistan in ’79. The Pakistani, Saudi, US effort there led eventually to al Qaeda and other Sunni jihad actuvities. Those include the 1993 WTC truck bombing.
The Grand Mosque Siege was also ’79. After it was ended, the wannabe Mahdi killed, to appease other restive Wahhabi clerics the Saudis poured billions into spreading Salafism and jihad. This has even led to major Islamic centers at the most prestigious US universities in addition to thousands of mosques in the West.
1979 was a much more significant that the first WTC in 1993.

What millennium is this? Oh, that’s right, third millennium, 2015 Anno Dominum, the year of Our Lord. I was never religious, I was never baptized a Christian, but every article I read about these submitters motivates me to adopt a faith as diametrically opposed to them as exists on this earth. So now they are accusing folks they don’t like of sorcery? President Obama, if my middle name were Hussein, I would either change it to “Jesus” or stop pretending to be a Christian. I guess I could become a Buddhist, but they never fight back, I want to fight back.

In case sorcery works it may disenchant the kudos of allah, especially as there is a section of muslims, imams, heavily into sorcery, magic, spell casting, etc.
It is one thing that they fear, magic of the infidel, but in Engeland they don’t kill sorcerers or sorceresses, yet. The muslims just cast spells upon infidel sorcerers.
