“Screaming man ‘tries to strangle’ Orthodox rabbi in shocking attack outside synagogue,” by Kara O’Neill, Mirror, November 27, 2015:
This shocking video has captures the moment a man appears to strangle a Rabbi before yelling at him ‘go back to Israel’.
The dramatic clip shows the 39-year-old shouting at a group of Orthodox Jews outside the Adass Israel Synagogue in Ripponlea, near Melbourne in Australia on November 26 at 7.30pm.
The man, who was accused of being drunk in the footage, shouts about Allah before screaming at this victim.
He appears to slap one of the men in the face before attempting to grab his throat.
He then yells: “Go back to Israel. Do you think you can rule this land?” before he is restrained on the ground.
The Rabbi who bore the brunt of the attack told the Daily Mail Australia he was not injured during the incident.
He added: “It was an isolated incident and it was handled very well. It wasn’t anti-Semitic. The guy was on drugs and ice.”…
