Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

FBI using elite surveillance teams to track at least 48 high-risk Islamic State suspects

Nov 27, 2015 12:31 pm By Robert Spencer

Islamic State operatives are working hard to mount a Paris-style jihad mass murder attack here. They hope to overwhelm the FBI and the entire law enforcement and intelligence apparatus with so many plots and attacks that the system will collapse.

“FBI using elite surveillance teams to track at least 48 high-risk ISIS suspects,” by Catherine Herridge, Fox News, November 27, 2015:

With as many as 1,000 active cases, Fox News has learned at least 48 ISIS suspects are considered so high risk that the FBI is using its elite tracking squads known as the mobile surveillance teams or MST to track them domestically.

“There is a very significant number of people that are on suspicious watch lists, under surveillance,” Republican Sen. Dan Coats said.

Coats, who sits on the Select Committee on Intelligence, would not comment on specifics, but said the around-the-clock surveillance is a major commitment for the bureau. “The FBI together with law enforcement agencies across the country are engaged in this. It takes enormous amount of manpower to do this on a 24-7 basis. It takes enormous amount of money to do this,” Coats explained.

These elite FBI teams are reserved for espionage, mob violence and high-priority terrorism cases, like a joint terrorism task force case last June, where a 26 year old suspect Usaama Rahim, was killed outside a Massachusetts CVS. When a police officer and FBI agent tried to question him, the Boston Police Commissioner said Rahim threatened them with a knife, and was shot dead.

With at least a dozen agents assigned to each case, providing 24/7 coverage, this high level of surveillance reflects the severe risk associated with suspects most likely to attempt copycat attacks after Paris….

And all these efforts severely hampered and restricted in effectiveness because the FBI is forbidden by Obama to study the philosophy and playbook of the #1 enemy of the United States: Islam.

And Obama is pushing to import THOUSANDS more!

Truth! We could find a lot more terrorists if we sent more FBI undercover agents into the 80+ radical mosques in the USA that were recently identified by the Clarion Project.

Is the FBI under the Obama regime truly tracking 48 ISIS suspects considered high risk or is that just a cover story excuse to explain why they are so overwhelmed from tracking every White Male who happens to vote Republican and attends church on a regular basis?

As for “FBI using elite surveillance teams to track at least 48 high -risk Islamic state subjects.” That’s a very good idea ,if ever there was one. As Thomas Jefferson had, so well, declared “Let the eye of vigilance never be closed.”

I am surprised they they don’t use **politospeak** and say something like “The FBI is working with former ISIS members to learn more about possible terror plots”

**FBI is working with**—depends on what your definition of “with” is. The FBI is trying to catch them and the terrorists are trying not to get caught.

**former ISIS members**—The FBI asked them if they were terrorists, they said no so they MUST be former terrorists.

**learn more about**—Well they are monitoring them so technically they are learning.

**possible terror plots**—No acts of terror were ACTUALLY carried out by these people so until it happens they still can be classified as possible.

    I say they are terrorists.
They say that they are pro-Islamic advocates for the advancement cultural interaction.

Joseph…no discredit to the FBI, actually I grateful they are protecting us, but some may be from the diversity file, and they are restricted on the use of terminiology that would accurately describe our enemy, as you may have already precieved. The jihadist thugs of ISIS have proven by their own brutal and deadly actions s that they are very dangerous. To give only one examples of this ,out of many ,was those vicious, brutal and murderous ISIS jihad terror attacks that occurred on November 13 in the city of Paris France.. A repeat of such a awful and heinously wicked Islamic terror attack or attacks in America as had happened in Paris is an extreme evil the should not, ever, happen. Therefore to protect and safety of heath and the basic right of people live, the FBI does very much need to keep up with strong surveillance on heinous enemies of God, people and country. In surveillance the FBI is doing its job.

A dozen agents each case — three shifts — that means four agents constantly in attendance, plus all their equipment. If each agent is getting paid 50K a year, that’s 600K per year just to follow one suspect. Not including cost of gas, vehicles, surveillance equipment, and who knows what else is involved.

Why is Islam tax exempt when it is a political organization? Granted, it’s also “religious,” but the religion is inherently political, so why is it tax exempt? Does that mean that any political organization can add a scripture and religious doctrine, and that political organization will become tax exempt? Why not? Why should Islam get special treatment in that regard?

Alternatively, any mosque promoting Islamic law for non-Muslims should lose its tax-exempt status.

Having worked surveillance of this type in a previous life, I think it’s safe to say that the 12+ FBI guys is not broken down to 4 per shift; it’s 12+ per shift. Pulling this kind of surveillance is really that difficult. And I believe the pay is better than just 50K per year.

Islam costs the entire human race an untold amount, this astronomically financial cost you mentioned, Godwin, being just one of many costs that Islam extracts from the human species simply because it exists. The intellectual and emotional costs alone, never mind the money, can hardly be measured, so “expensive” is Islam to all the earth, to all of mankind.

Another unquantifiable expense Islam is responsible for is its effect it’s having on young impressionable youngsters who are having their Education thwarted because of it.Muslims are falling behind other groups and are thus becoming more likely unemployable. That is when their sence of grievances kicks in and resentment of the ‘ Infidel ‘That is when they become susceptible to crime and the radicalization process.Only by the removal of this political organization posing as a religion or its exposure for the fraud that is can we ever be secure again

A special agent is in the low six figures, and salary/benefits is one part, but every agent carries with him an infrastructure cost to be able to operate. So the numbers add up real fast, just for these 48.

And, we’ve all learned time and against that government statistics are frequently gubmint dastisticks. The 48 was culled from some report that doesn’t account for 10x that much surveillance to track hundreds or thousands more devout Moslems who’ve gone active.

Plus, some congressman should bring up the reliability of all those special agents who were recruited a decade ago under the guise of the Affirmative Action program. The imaginary congressman should demand assurance from Comey that these Moslem agents not be assigned to these teams, whicih are tracking the most explosive of our Moslems, and that’s saying something.

This strategy worked beautifully in Paris, and it is only a matter of time when it comes to fruition here. Simultaneous attacks WILL overwhelm law enforcement resources. A fire here, a bombing there, and a few mass shootings for good measure will bring law enforcement to its knees.

It is a scenario that keeps me up at night…

If these 48 are so potentially dangerous that they must be surveilled 24/7 by 12 agents each – why not just deport them or kill them?

Bin Laden’s strategy was to bankrupt us with security costs and he is close to success. All the money spent on airport scanners, TSA patdowns and tracking of multiple suspects is money not spent on crumbling infrastructure or education.

French Intelligence is pretty competent, yet they completely missed a multifaceted and coordinated attack at a number of different sites. America seems to be going with “fingers crossed” and deploying 2500 armed officers at a Thanksgiving parade. I don’t think that’s going to cut it.

How many *elite* teams does the FBI have for this kind of operation? Guess they’ll be hiring and training for the hundreds of thousands that will be coming in and will need to be tracked.. And more equipment used in such operations will be purchased and more vehicles bought in order to follow them about.

There are terrorists in all 50 states. There are *soft targets* in all fifty states. What a wonderful situation.

Each time I read, 50 states have isis investigations I wonder who are the 2 states that do not have potential jihadist, I want to go there.
Even without the new refugees we have far too many already here….Minnesota, Michigan most likely California, Illinois, so how prepared are we?

Things may well eventually reach the point where all suspected security risk individuals will need to be incarcerated instead of actively monitored in the community. This would bring about a great compromise of individual rights and freedoms and is a very high price to pay for following an immigration regimen that does not discriminate against Islamic affiliation during a period of Global Jihad terror.

Under Trump we could ask for and get new legislation that would save all this money – instead of manpower, time and cost of surveillance we arrest them and make the mosque that inspired them pay for their food while in jail. Muslims understand a tax levied on dhimmis – we just use their ideas on them.

“FBI using elite surveillance teams to track at least 48 high-risk ISIS suspects,”

What is the cost of having these surveillance teams, what’s the total cost of all the Moslems we have? The teams are less than 1% of the total Moslem bill, which spans across the HSA (including the TSA), the CIA, the NSA, state and city police forces, and other parts of the FBI. Notice that there has never been an accounting of the Moslem bill, and that the costs — which are real, necessary, and very high — are never discussed in any political discourse about bringing in Moslems, including what will amount to about a quarter million “Syrian” “refugees”. No business would ever make major strategic moves like this without cost/benefit analyses, but the country does.

It takes round the clock time and effort to maintain surveillance over these 48 ‘high risk’ suspects. Are we to wait till they kill people to take any action against them?? The FBI and the police can do very well to adopt a policy of “covert extra-judicial elimination”. These scum always carry knives and hand guns with them. Eliminate them one by one or more by creating a confrontation with these parasites. This is the most economical way to get rid of high risk scum, period. The FBI and law enforcement can be used for better purposes.
