Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Iran’s Supremo: Iran’s foreign policy is “based on Islam”

Nov 2, 2015 8:58 am By Robert Spencer

Including, evidently, its genocidal hatred of America and Israel and determination to destroy them. In any case, in saying that Iran’s foreign policy is based on Islam, the Ayatollah Khamenei is offering Western analysts a clue, a tool they can use to understand Iran’s motives, goals, priorities and more. It is, however, the one tool that mainstream analysts are determined to ignore.

“Ayatollah: America Is the Source of the Region’s Problems, Not the Solution,” by Patrick Goodenough, CNS News, November 2, 2015:

(CNSNews.com) – America is the primary cause of the problems in the Middle East, and not part of the solution, Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Sunday.

“Contrary to certain people’s belief, the U.S. is the cause of the major portion of regional problems and is not part of the solution to the problems,” he told a gathering of Iranian diplomats, including Foreign Minister Javad Zarif. The speech was posted on the supreme leader’s Persian-language website, and reported in state media.

Khamenei also said there was no point in holding talks with the U.S. about regional problems, since the U.S. was interested only in getting its way.

“Americans want to impose their views rather than solve problems,” he said. “They want to impose 60 to 70 percent of their demands in talks and practically implement and impose the rest of their goals illegally. So what can such negotiations mean?”

Khamenei’s latest anti-U.S. diatribe came two days after Iran, for the first time, participated in multilateral talks aimed at finding a resolution to the Syrian civil war.

Zarif, who represented Iran in the talks in Vienna, also held a bilateral meeting there the day before with Secretary of State John Kerry.

Even though both men were in Vienna for the Syria talks, State Department spokesman John Kirby stressed the Zarif-Kerry meeting had dealt solely with the nuclear agreement reached last July, and that there was “no discussion about the conflict in Syria.”

Khamenei has prohibited negotiations with the U.S. on any subject apart from the nuclear issue.

In his speech Sunday, the ayatollah criticized what he called foreign propaganda suggesting Iran was shifting its foreign policy.

On the contrary, he said, “the Islamic Republic of Iran’s foreign policy has acted as impenetrable rock against the domineering nature of hegemonic powers, especially the U.S., in the region.”

Khamenei said Iran’s policies differ 180 degrees from America’s. Iran’s foreign policy was “based on Islam and stems from the aspirations and goals of the [Islamic] revolution,” he declared.

Khamenei also laid down his views on current developments and crises in the region:

–On Syria, he said countries gathering to decide who should rule another country were committing “a dangerous heresy that no state in the world would accept it for itself.”

The only solution to the civil war, he said, was for foreign support for anti-regime rebels to end, and the holding of elections in which the Syrian people “would freely elect whomever they like to rule their country.” It would be unacceptable for armed groups to have a role in forming a government….

On “Palestine,” he repeated a call for a referendum of Palestinians to clarify the fate of Israel. The natural outcome of such a referendum, he said, would inevitably be the “dissolution of the illegitimate Zionist regime.”…

And our beaming infinitely stupid Washington Republicans and Democrats gave them beau-coup money to advance their Islamist agenda against us.

The Republicans view Moslems as a sensitive and untouchable growth voting bloc that can do damage well beyond their numbers in the form of bad press and even nasty protests. This same psychology extends to the federal bureaucracy: Moslems are trouble, so bend over backwards to accommodate. Doing that is exactly wrong, but it’s the norm nowadays. Thomas Jefferson and Winston Churchill are’t around anymore. Realism is not around anymore.

If the USA is the problem to peace then Europe is also a problem. Why don’t we round up ALL the so called refugees and dump them on Iranian soil. They can deal with their Muslim brothers. That should halt their plans to do anything for a while. It will cost them $$$ to hose, shelter and feed.

I forgot since the West is the evil ones, no more aid either.

America is the primary cause of the problems in the Middle East, and not part of the solution, Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Sunday.

Yes, I’m sure it were Americans who plotted to have muhammad killed and spread confusion over who was to be his rightful successor…

Something about beggars not being choosers? Despite Obama’s “leadership”, the US still has the upper hand. Why should they give it away, especially when dealing with a nation that calls them “The Great Satan”?

On “Palestine,” he repeated a call for a referendum of Palestinians to clarify the fate of Israel. The natural outcome of such a referendum, he said, would inevitably be the “dissolution of the illegitimate Zionist regime.”…

Why should “palestinians” have any sort of saying on the fate of Israel? Why not let them decide the fate, for example, of Jordan?

Given that Islam is based on the destruction of all Jews, this is bad news for Israel from Ayatollah Ali. Bad news indeed. Especially since we’ve just given them the green light for nuclear ICBMs and freed up $150 billion to get it done.

WHAT? THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN IS ISLAMIC???

Khamenei said Iran’s policies differ 180 degrees from America’s. Iran’s foreign policy was “based on Islam and stems from the aspirations and goals of the [Islamic] revolution,” he declared.

So…you really…really think that genocide against Israel is ISLAMIC, rather than an aberration. Kinda contradicts the UNHR, don’t it?

Now you’ve got my brain locked in recursion since the “authoritative government sources” have declared that muslim militancy has nothing to do with Islam and yet you’ve shown conclusively that Islam is out to destroy Israel through “dissolution”.

      So confusing. 😉

I can hear Satan whining about how Jesus keeps interfering with his plans to control Earth.

Khamenei, you ass-puppet of Satan. You are such a sissy, always whining that someone is interfering with your plans to take over the world. Remember the last caliphate? History records that in the last caliphate only about 2% of the people were literate, and most of them were Jews and Christians – a telling testament of the Islamic way. Any society with such high rates of ignorance is bound to fail. GDP is linked to IQ (and literacy) with an average below about 94 a countries economy will not be sustainable – why do you think the USA gives so much aid to Muslim countries – it keeps them from collapsing.

Islam is the epitome of ignorance

Islam is the epitome of paganism. e.g. circumambulating the kabba, ( no underware allowed ) the pagans we’re doing this long before Islam existed, Muhammed let the pagans continue this ritual until he had the upper hand, then decreed that only Muslims were allowed to practice this, adopted by Islam, pagan ritual.

No moslem country’s foreign or domestic policy could be based on anything else unless it’s a military dictatorship — and then it’s all based on the dictator’s ego and money. Robert’s got that exactly right — it’s self-evident to the point of pain. You want to understand Iran and even put yourself a couple of steps ahead of them at every turn? Hire an expert on Islam like Robert Spencer and follow his recommendations. He doesn’t have a crystal ball. He’s not psychic. He simply read their book — like Patton read Rommel’s — and he’s got their number. You could have Iran (and every other moslem country and terrorist group) on their knees in no time.

Heard in Tehran: “Mommy, when I grow up to be nine, I want to marry a man just like The Ayatollah.”

“..he said countries gathering to decide who should rule another country were committing ‘a dangerous heresy that no state in the world would accept it for itself.'” Like his aspirations to rule Iraq?

  9. Daniel Triplett says

No, interfering with Iran’s plans is what I will do if I’m elected POTUS.

American interference would begin and end in 24 minutes, costing us $1 Billion.
