In FrontPage today I discuss how at least one jihad attacker was a “refugee.” Will European leaders reconsider their migrant policy? (No.)
That didn’t take long: one of the Islamic State (ISIS) jihadis who murdered at least 160 people in Paris on Friday held a Syrian passport and passed through Greece in October. In October, he was a “refugee” seeking asylum in Europe from the Syrian war zone; in November, he was murdering French civilians for the Islamic caliphate. The Migrant Jihad has begun.
French and European authorities can’t say they weren’t warned. Last February, the Islamic State boasted it would soon flood Europe with as many as 500,000 refugees. And the Lebanese Education Minister recently said that there were 20,000 jihadis among the refugees in camps in his country. Meanwhile, 80% of migrants who have recently come to Europe claiming to be fleeing the war in Syria aren’t really from Syria at all.
So why are they claiming to be Syrian and streaming into Europe? An Islamic State operative gave the answer when he boasted in September, shortly after the migrant influx began, that among the flood of refugees, 4,000 Islamic State jihadis had already entered Europe. He explained their purpose: “It’s our dream that there should be a caliphate not only in Syria but in all the world, and we will have it soon, inshallah.” These Muslims were going to Europe in the service of that caliphate: “They are going like refugees,” he said, but they were going with the plan of sowing blood and mayhem on European streets. As he told this to journalists, he smiled and said, “Just wait.”
A year before that the Islamic State issued a call for jihad murders of French civilians: “If you can kill a disbelieving American or European – especially the spiteful and filthy French – or an Australian, or a Canadian, or any other disbeliever from the disbelievers waging war, including the citizens of the countries that entered into a coalition against the Islamic State, then rely upon Allah, and kill him in any manner or way however it may be.”
Then after the attacks the Islamic State issued a statement claiming responsibility for them, and warning: “Let France and all nations following its path know that they will continue to be at the top of the target list for the Islamic State and that the scent of death will not leave their nostrils as long as they partake in the crusader campaign, as long as they dare to curse our Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him), and as long as they boast about their war against Islam in France and their strikes against Muslims in the land of the Caliphate with their jets, which were of no avail to them in the filthy streets and alleys of Paris. Indeed, this is just the beginning. It is also a warning for any who wish to take heed.”
So war was declared, and acts of war carried out – and the response has been drearily predictable. German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere was swift to try to dissociate the Paris attacks from the migrant influx into Europe: “I would like to make this urgent plea to avoid drawing such swift links to the situation surrounding refugees.” Alas for de Maiziere, there was the inconvenient fact of that Syrian “refugee” who pass through Greece on his way to jihad in Paris.
Meanwhile, Barack Obama was true to form, not mentioning Islam or Muslims in his statement on the Paris attacks, and not giving a hint that it was his precipitous and politically motivated withdrawal from Iraq that created the vacuum that allowed for the rise of the Islamic State. Indeed, the Islamic State could end up being the most significant legacy of the Obama Administration. Obviously American troops couldn’t have stayed in Iraq forever, and the Iraq project from its beginnings was based on false assumptions about Islam, ignoring its political, supremacist and violent aspects; but Obama’s hasty and ill-thought out withdrawal took into account none of the realities on the ground: the Sunni/Shi’ite divide, the Iranian influence in Baghdad, the Sunnis’ unwillingness to participate in the Baghdad government and the Shi’ites’ refusal to allow them to do so in any significant way, and more. France today is paying the price for the willful ignorance and short-sightedness of Obama and his administration.
The Leftist media is firmly stuck in willful ignorance mode as well. Salon published a piece entitled, “Our terrorism double standard: After Paris, let’s stop blaming Muslims and take a hard look at ourselves,” and another entitled, “And so the hate speech begins: Let Paris be the end of the right’s violent language toward activists.” The Guardian worried that after the Paris jihad murders Friday, “far-right groups may well fuel more hatred.” Neither Salon nor the Guardian, nor any other mainstream media outlet, published any realistic assessment of the advancing jihad threat in France and the West in general.
And so as the Western intelligentsia fell into familiar patterns of response, it only ensured that there would be many, many more attacks, in Europe and the U.S., like the one in Paris Friday. It seems as if no amount of disconfirming evidence will move the establishment Left to remove its blinkers, discard its politically correct fantasies, and face the jihad threat realistically. The Leftists in the corridors of power are today ensuring that there will be much, much more bloodshed.

Unfortunately, elections have consequences and, ultimately all guilt for that rest on the shoulders of electorate, that is people who elected those politicians to power, for whatever reason they did it, and for what temporary gadgets, or for what “hope” to obtain some “change.”
Shane says
Yes, the American, Canadian, and most European voters are to blame for continuing to elect politicians who will not be honest about the Islamic jihad threat. Obama is one of the worst of these pols as he ignores that fact that these “violent extremists” are devout Muslims engaged in a jihad against the West. Terrorism is just a tool that the jihadists use to attack stronger opponents. In Syria and Iraq, ISIS is a jihad army that also uses terrorism to intimidate their enemies.
ISIS must be destroyed and the West must stop all Muslim immigration now. Vote for Ted Cruz as he is the strongest of all the American Presidential candidates against the Jihad!
Laura says
Shane – you are correct! However, Ted uses “radical” islam – someone needs to educate him a bit more about that descriptive – such as “radical” islam doesn’t exist, neither does “moderate” – as has been said by the imams “islam is islam” – a key component in understanding what we are up against!

Congratulations to you, Mr. Spencer for being a visionary who foresaw the Paris tragedy and others that are no doubt on the way unless common sense prevails.
Let’s leave the refugees in Muslim countries, help them there, and help them to return to their home countries when the troubles are over.
Islam has no contribution to make to the West besides the negative ones of destabilization, terrorism and constant social incompatibility.
RonaldB says
Why is it our business to help the refugees in Muslim countries?
There is a counter-argument, though. That is, if the US had not destroyed the government in Iraq, and Libya, and had not sponsored the rebellions against the Syrian dictator Assad, that the vast anarchy in the Middle East would not have occurred….and ISIS would not have had the power vacuum which allowed it to expand so rapidly.
I think the best favor the US could do for the region is to stay out of future nation-building or nation-destroying actions, and let events shape themselves. The United States now produces more oil than Saudi Arabia, there is a glut of oil due to fracking and other oil-recovery technologies, so there is no strategic reason whatsoever for the US to be involved in protecting or toppling Middle Eastern governments.

“France today is paying the price for the willful ignorance and short-sightedness of Obama and his administration.”
My analysis is that it was only a matter of time before such jihad attacks occurred, not only in France, but in Britain, Spain, Germany, and the US and Canada.
The reason is that jihad, in Islamic military doctrine, has several stages:
1. Hijrah, or migration of Muslims to establish beachheads; Muslims are on good behavior in the early stages of Hijrah.
2. Defensive jihad, where some provocation by non-Muslims has to precede Muslim violence;
3. Offensive jihad, where any violence by Muslims is justified by the idea that Islam should prevail over all people and lands.
The Hijrah is going so well in Western countries that the more conservative Islamist supremacist groups, such as the Muslim Brotherhood, probably would prefer to remain peaceful for the next decade or so, while consolidating their political and cultural power. This tactic is laid out in Malik’s “The Quranic Concept of War”.
http://www.onceagreenberet.com/WordPress/publications/malik.pdf
The Islamic takeover erodes the identity and self-confidence of the targeted society, and their will to resist, before initiating any violent action. This is the tactic of CAIR, ISNA and other Muslim Brotherhood fronts.
The difference between ISIS and, say, CAIR, is that ISIS believes the time to reassert the Caliphate and Islamic offense is now. CAIR would prefer to carry out subversion and cultural dissolution of Western countries before actually engaging in violence. ISIS believes the Middle East and the West are now ripe for Muslim aggression to succeed. So far, ISIS seems to be more on the mark.
There is no reason to believe sleeper cells in every country in the West are not preparing for violent assaults. However, ISIS, which has quickly established its own well-trained, dedicated, and self-contained sleeper cells, believes they should be activated now. The Muslim Brotherhood sees every benefit in continuing the very successful penetration of Western countries by Muslims, but the Muslim Brotherhood will eventually switch to violent aggression. This is part of the doctrine described in “Milestones” by Muslim Brotherhood theorist
” Thus for thirteen years after the
beginning of his risalah, he called people to God through preaching, without
fighting or Jiziyah, [A tax levied by Muslims on non-Muslim men in areas governed
by Muslims, in lieu of military service.] and was commanded to restrain himself
and to practice patience and forbearance. Then he was commanded to migrate, and
later permission was given to fight. Then he was commanded to fight those who
fought him, and to restrain himself from those who did not make war with him.
Later he was commanded to fight the polytheists until God’s religion was fully
established. ”
http://majalla.org/books/2005/qutb-nilestone.pdf
So, the terror attacks will come sooner or later, as long as Muslims are allowed to immigrate into non-Muslim societies. ISIS is ahead of the curve, testing whether Western countries are indeed ripe for the final takeover by Muslims. But the only difference between ISIS and the Muslim Brotherhood is a question of timing.
خَليفة says
Studies show that genetics plays a role in “delayed gratification” in humans.
Studies in mice show that inbreeding causes mice to become more impulsive – There is no reason to believe this does not occur in humans, as Muslims are the proof – they lack self control, and in the case of DAESH they seem to be favoring a quick small reward as opposed to the Muslim brother hood who would favor a bigger reward in the future. We can conclude that the MB is less inbreed than ISIL
I admit this is a bit ridiculous, but, then again, … If the shoe fits …
RonaldB says
Actually, I like the way you think. Your hypothesis is definitely reasonable, although just speculative at this point.
In terms of survival of a trait, the flip side of caution is the risk of losing to a more aggressive species. So, the more aggressive Islamic State, if its gamble pays off, actually will displace the more cautious Muslim Brotherhood and probably cause it to become extinct.
Judging from the response of Holland, the French President, who chooses to joust with the Islamic State, rather than re-examine the real culprit..his own immigration policies, the Islamic State might have been correct in its timing.
So, unless we can make our policies rational, we can look forward to being ruled by Muslims who are likely more, rather than less, inbred, following your hypothesis.

I agree with your analysis. But I’ll bet when these jihad attacks continue. and it won’t be long before another appalling attack occurs, each one, no matter how terrible and how predictable the horror, will elicit exclamations of “shock” from western politicians and media. And they will label the attack “a tragedy”, indicating there was nothing anyone could have done to stop it and paving the way for Western guilt.
It’s all so predictable and so disheartening. The West, steeped in PCMC and dictated to by oligarchies, is a transparent suicide cult to anyone with common sense.

We here in Canada have decided to elect Justin Trudeau as leader of the country partly because he said he would transport 25000 Syrian immigrants here before the end of the year, (7 or 8 weeks away from the election) so whenever the Terrorist acts do begin to occur from our easily offended, overly hotheaded, uncontrollable new citizens, it will be our own damn fault.
I have already heard the Radio Call-in hosts proclaiming that the Paris attacks are an anomaly, and nothing to do with Islam, because Islam is a religion of peace, they then end the show with Lennon’s Give Peace a Chance.
It is regrettable that our society cannot or will not recognize the danger we are in from the Islamic hordes who feel it a religious duty to convert by force if necessary our miserable way of life to the superior Islamic way of life. We have invited the fox into the hen-house. We are lambs at the slaughter who have advocated for and paid for the butcher to come dispatch us at their leisure.
SpiritOf1683 says
If the Paris attacks were an anomaly, I guess Bali, Beslan, London, 9/11, 3/11, Moscow Theatre Siege, Luxor, nairobi, Mumbai etc plus the countless attacks on Israel were all ‘anomalies’. It seems we’ve had 27,000 ‘anomalies’ since 9/11 alone, and there will certainly be more. It seems the Canadians are inviting an ‘anomaly’ upon themselves with their complacency, and PC and complacency itself are huge dangers to us.

Under U.S. law, Angela Merkel is guilty of “depraved-heart murder” of each and every one of the young people killed in Paris.
Angela Merkel, with depraved indifference to the danger of Islamic terrorist murder, which danger was known to her, intentionally invited millions of potential terrorists into Europe, and knowingly suspended laws and procedures aimed at protecting the people of Europe.

Meanwhile, I heard a “pundit” on TV say, with a straight face, that there was no need to change the European stance on the so-called “refugees” because terrorists were going from Europe to the islamic state, not the other way around.
It’s the same whiny song: “Oh, if we change our policy on refugees, if we start refusing to take in refugees then the terrorists win twice because they made us discard our European values”. Utter nonsense, of course – there are laws and procedures in place regarding refugees, and actually executing them doesn’t mean discarding our European values in any way.

The so-called jihadists who did the terrible crimes in Paris were NOT Muslim faithful who went to mosque… They were known before by police as petty criminals.
Daily Mail has an article about Hasna Ait Boulahcen
”EXCLUSIVE: Extraordinary selfie of Europe’s first female suicide bomber shows the jihadi who never read the Koran, liked to drink and smoke and had a reputation for having lots of boyfriends”
Most of the Westerners going to do ”jihad” in Syria, Libya, Iraq are ”misfits” (losers)- non-integrated youngsters who simply do not have a clue what to do with their lives and want a thrill, want drugs, want to feel the power over the others who always have the power of decision over them, want easy money through killing (they think it is fun because they are doing it routinely on the computer games), want to get out of a society who does not represent them, who does not give them a decent itinerary in life, who lost its moral values completely…
Our Western society is decadent and immoral: mercantilism and easy money through corruption, disintegration of families and worship of everything that is against traditional family values…
No wonder why our youngsters lost their way – the society is making them dumb and easy to be manipulated: the quality of education decreased dramatically, the focus is on electronic gadgets + have fun, feel good and don’t care about others!
Also they are taught – from a very early age – and repeated constantly – that they have RIGHTS – but nobody dares to tell them that they have also obligations towards the society. They grow up immature and unruly, disrespectful and aware of the fact that as long as they are ”underage” nobody can do anything when they do anti-social acts. When they are adults they ”wake up” when confronted with the hursh reality: they need to respect the law… and they are not used with that and they won’t…
If they are not going to do jihad – most of the ”lost kids of our society” will be rioters, gang members, etc – filling the youth correction facilities and prisons 🙁
Change the policy: make EDUCATION the main goal in their lives. Force them to go to school, to have at least a high-school degree.
Give them a job right-away after they finish their school.
Give them their lives back! Otherwise they will destroy our lives…
FOCUS on QUALITY not quantity… We need to work with what we already have. European businesses MUST work with the human resources in place not to neglect them. We lose our youth because we do not take care of them the way our parents and grandparents did with us.
Why the businesses do not train our young Europeans to do all the free jobs we have? Why do we need ”new blood” (immigrants) for our jobs? Why the business do not try to find a solution for our youngsters who must be integrated in the work force?
Our kids are our future. We have to change the Western mentality and to teach our kids of the importance of education and work.
We have to take care of our Europe – not for us – but for our children, for our grandchildren…
