Satanists reach out to Muslims in U.S. who fear “backlash”

This is peculiarly fitting: Muslims who described themselves as lovers of death, screaming out about the superiority of their god, brutally murdered well over 100 people in Paris, in accord with commands they imbibed from their prophet and holy book. Then other Muslims began complaining about a non-existent “backlash,” so as to shift focus away from jihad mass murder and all that they’re not doing within their own communities to stop it. After that, the followers of the author of arrogance, prince of death and father of lies offered them security — they must have seen something simpatico in all this blood and deception.

“Unlikely Aid: Satanists Reach Out to US Muslims Facing Racist Backlash,” Sputnik News, November 21, 2015:

Satanic Temples across the country are volunteering to provide security for Muslims facing backlash this week in the wake of the Paris attacks.

Minneapolis and San Jose chapters of the Satanic Temple posted the offer to their websites and Facebook accounts on Wednesday.

“If there is anyone in the Minneapolis area who is Muslim and afraid to leave their home out of fear for some kind of backlash, don’t hesitate to reach out to us,” the Minneapolis chapter’s Facebook post stated. “We would be glad to escort you where you need to go without advertising our presence — just big dudes walking you where you need to be. We would also happily accompany you so you can get some groceries.”

The San Jose chapter followed suit and reposted the offer to their social media on Thursday.

Members of the church have stated that the offer is not a ploy for publicity, just some genuine compassion for other human beings.

“Our offer comes from a place of genuine compassion for our fellow human beings. It’s not to ride the tide of sentiment or capitalize on people for further name recognition,” the Minneapolis chapter’s page followed up by saying.

So far, they have not been taken up on their offer — but it’s the thought that counts, right?

“We are happy to be of service to our community. Unfortunately, we’ve had no taker as of yet,” Curt Landsman, a representative of the Minneapolis chapter, told International Business Times in an email. “We are doing this out of genuine care for our fellow men and women and not as a publicity stunt. We feel that statistically speaking, gun toting fundamentalist Christians are a much bigger threat than Muslims in our own community who have lived peacefully here for years.”

Several Muslims have thanked the church for their offer.

“I don’t live in Minneapolis, but as an American Muslim, I’m glad to see you guys take up this effort and help out a marginalized group. Thank you for doing this and building bridges between communities,” one Facebook user replied to the post from the Minnesota chapter….

Marginalized? Hardly. In reality, they’re celebrated, excused, apologized for, courted, and hailed.

  9. Regarding the star–note that it is the same 5-pointed star on the statue as the Islamic crescent and star. More ideological parallels between Islam and Satanism than between Islam and Christianity, methinks.

  10. As an atheist who has extensively studied Satanism and Islam, there is truly no disconnect here at all. In fact, the moslem and the satanist do indeed pray to the same deity — one deceptively, the other openly. The teachings are, however, different in many ways — but at their core they have the same cruel debasement of human dignity and ethics based on complete nonsense.

    It’s always entertaining to hear moslems refer to an evil satanic entity as something that opposes them, when their own core belief system centers around a deity which makes the same demands of them and promises them the same things as Satan does in the literature! It’s as if they are completely oblivious to this irony. And they have no idea that the character of Muhammad is the anti-Christ suggested in the Bible!

The Biblical “anti-Christ” could be any power on this world. He as called Hitler, Stalin, the UN, Islam, the Bible, IMHO has been so heavily edited and redefined and updated that it’s rather indecipherable, the Armageddon stuff is way out there into Nostradamus territory.

      Not being critical of your post, just wondered how you could actual put Islam in the Bible when it’s not even mentioned. Or if you have proof or anyone else that Islam is specifically mentioned I would love to see this.

      • 1) All are books of fiction, the Bible, the books it was compiled from, and the Koran, and the hadiths.

        2) People wrote them.

        3) They did not write them all at one time — CENTURIES passed between many of them.

        4) Previous works were available to those who wrote latter works. For example, the writers of the Koran had copies of the Bible on hand.

        5) It is quite easy to write a sequel to an existing book of fiction — which is what the Koran is to the Bible.

        6) Nowhere in my post do I write anything about Islam being mentioned in the Bible.

        7) Literacy rates were abysmal to non-existent in the Arabian peninsula at the time of the Koran creation, and certainly very few could actually read a Bible. All they new were Bible stories orally.

        8) Obviously you don’t know the Bible very well, nor the words of the Jesus character, nor the instances where the anti-Christ is mentioned. It is not just in Revelations, you know. Muhammad fits the description almost exactly — as if the writers of the Koran and the hadiths were reading the Bible! Well, you know what, they were!

        9) You really need to educate yourself on these matters before you comment on web boards.

    • You really nailed it with that comment. Am Christian, and am wondering if you also hungering for truth?
      If so, please research some of the Biblical prophecies that have come to pass in our lifetimes.

      There is a prophecy about Damascus being a ruinous heap in the end of days. Check out tourism promo vids, the place was truly beautiful. You’ll want to go, really! Now check the current state of the place. Unbelievably bad. Yet, it was foretold.
      In Psalm 22 the death and resurrection of Christ was foretold. Read the whole psalm, and then focus on that worm. Properly translated, it is the crimson grub. The life cycle of the crimson grub is intriguing. Please, please, look that up. You won’t regret it.
      In the book of Revelation there is something about ‘not everyone who will be beheaded has been beheaded yet’. Gack! So it will become increasingly common. Would you agree, this seems to be happening?
      Revelation 16 speaks of the Euphrates river drying up, making way for the kings of the east. Who are the kings of the east? Is the river obviously dried up, or in the process?
      Basra’s men will flee like women. Foretold. Done and done!
      Earthquakes in diverse places. This is already happening, and easily researched.
      Lots of smoke is another sign of the end.
      Indonesia had such a big fire that they called for help from four countries to put it out. Canada also has huge fires, hopefully winter will put them out. California’s fires made the news, many others did not. Research this, and hopefully you’ll map it out as you go along.
      Just so you don’t fall for false prophets. The two witnesses mentioned in Rev, are the two angels who greeted Mary at the tomb.
      Something positive for you to end with… God said he would put his name on Jerusalem. I was never quite sure what that meant, till I was shown ‘Jerusalem I Will Put My Name There’. Available on youtube.
      It is nearly impossible to tell believers from deceivers, so use the word of the Lord and pray that he will show you the truth. He is faithful.

        The Bible was a book of fiction created and edited from a bunch of source materials. It was created and popularized by a Roman emperor who was a convert to a popular cult who didn’t have the resources to keep control over the empire militarily, so he had the quite brilliant idea to do so and collect taxes and control over property by creating a unified religion with himself as the head of it (or Pope). So therefore a bunch of myths and legends from an obscure arm pit of the world became popularized and other collections of myths and legends were massively reduced in influence. And that’s really all there is to it.

        We can see anything we want in today’s events, just like those a thousand years ago saw Biblical “prophesy” playing out in the events of their day, and a thousand years from now people will see Biblical “prophesy” playing out in the events of their days.

        However I well say in Christianity’s favour: when the actual philosophy of the Christ character is actually followed, it is a positive humanist message. Completely the opposite of the Muhammad character. Who is the anti-Christ.

    • Wikipedia claims only some of the satanists are literally devil worshippers. Apparently some schools of satanism don’t believe literally in satan or any other spiritual beings. For them, Satan is just a symbol of some variety of humanism — if I’m reading Wikipedia correctly — For those Satanists, apparently, Satan is just a sort of symbol of human freedom, individualism, egoism, and perhaps a rejection of religiously imposed “false” ethics.     ( Just like I sat down several times with authentic books and booklets from the West African voodoo tradition. Which is very very bloody. )

    1) What was published in book form for “Satanism” ( e.g. Anton LeVey ) is not helpful.
    2) Satanists are close to non-existent in the US. Only several thousand at most.
    3) Satanists lack a coherent theology or scripture.
    4) Satanists like transgressive behavior. And lots of fiction writing.
    4a) There is a strong orientation towards sadism, masochism, and sadomasochism among American Satanists.
    4b) There is a strong orientation towards homosexuality among Satanists.
    5) Satanists are psychologically deranged and in need of intensive psychological counseling. They are pretty crazy.
    6) Oh, and the level of intelligence or writing skills among Satanists can be remarkably poor.

    How do I know any of this? I read thru a bunch of posts on two Satanist online fora. About 90 minutes was all I could handle.
    Again, there is no such thing as any organized or coherent approach. This is not a movement, and not something to fear.
    These people are by nature unable to co-operate or work from a common approach.
    The various Christian fears and concerns about Satanism as a “movement” in the US were all based on ignorance and the Christian need for a non-existent bogeyman..

    7) Rock and roll does NOT contribute to Satanism. It’s not like anyone goes from rock and roll to drugs and then to Wicca and magic and then to Satanism and then to torture of small animals and then to Satanism. That’s all just completely dumb. The Wicca / magic stuff is basically sane and reasonable and non-aggressive. The kids are okay.

    It is possible the Satanists feel some degree of camaraderie with Islamic organisations in America – and have made those feelings known.

  47. Whenever there is an anti-Israel manifestation, Muslims (from all over the world), transvestites, drag queens, and Orthodox Jews join together in order to demand the destruction of Israel.
