Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

France: School warned about Paris jihad murderer, but warnings were ignored

Dec 27, 2015 10:46 am By Robert Spencer

Apparently to have passed such warnings on to police would have been “Islamophobic.”

Bilal Hadfi

“School’s Warnings About Paris Attacker Were Not Passed On,” by Sewell Chan and Milan Schreuer, New York Times, December 26, 2015:

LONDON — He was the youngest of the participants in the Paris terrorist attacks, a baby-faced 20-year-old whose attention had drifted from soccer, cigarettes and girls to the venomous messages of extremist Islam.

The man, Bilal Hadfi, a French citizen living in Brussels, went to Syria early this year to fight for the Islamic State. The Belgian government issued an arrest warrant for him, but then lost track of him. On Nov. 13, Mr. Hadfi blew himself up outside the national soccer stadium on the northern outskirts of Paris, part of attacks that killed 130 people.

New details have emerged from teachers at his school about urgent warnings of Mr. Hadfi’s radicalization, after he openly cheered the deadly January attack on the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo in Paris and posted extremist messages on Facebook.

On Saturday, the Belgian newspaper De Morgen reported that a police oversight body, known as Committee P, is investigating why the warnings were not passed on to the authorities.

In an April 27 email, the school’s director, Chris Pijpen, told an education official, Charles Huygens, that Mr. Hadfi had not attended school since Feb. 24. Officials met with his mother and aunt on March 23; they said he had left for Morocco, where he had relatives, because he was “fed up” with school.

But the school was rife with rumors that Mr. Hadfi had left for Syria, according to the email. It included images from Mr. Hadfi’s Facebook page, where he had adopted a nom de guerre, Abu Moudjahid al-Belgiki (the surname means “of Belgium”) and posed with a jihadist flag.

The email was reported by De Morgen, and then provided to The New York Times. Mr. Huygens did not alert the police. “It’s true that the director told me by mail in April that our student had departed to Syria, but by then it was already too late,” Mr. Huygens told De Morgen. Mr. Pijpen said he did not contact the authorities himself because protocol required that he go through his superiors.

Belgian law requires that schools report suspicions of terrorist activity to the authorities. In a phone interview on Saturday, Mr. Pijpen said he never got a reply to his email. “I expected that something would happen, some further action, at least someone from the administration that would come down to our school, or the police,” he said. “I was amazed that nothing happened. This was already after Charlie Hebdo and Verviers,” a Belgian town where the police in January killed two men suspected of links to a terrorist network plotting an attack.

“You would expect some reaction,” he added. “But then again, we’ve been asking for years for more support at our school, or the hiring of specialists, but never got any.”

As early as February 2014, according to a school report provided to The Times, officials said Mr. Hadfi was having trouble at home in the Neder-over-Heembeek section of Brussels, where he lived with his mother and two brothers. He had been distraught after the death of his father a few years earlier, and a brother reported that Mr. Hadfi started smoking marijuana and skipping classes and that he would “hang out with the wrong friends.”…

Since Belgium and France are saturated with quislings this is bound to happen, over and over again, which in turn will fuel civil wars of the future.

Where do the families of these victims disappear to after these tragedies?

Haven’t heard these groups teaming up and marching on Washington, London, Paris, etc..

      WHY NOT???

If I had a loved one loss, Obama couldn’t SHUT ME UP.

I believe in holding people accountable and it ain’t happening and until it does, there is no justice They need to take a page from the BLM bowel movement..

It’s getting more and more difficult to have pity for these foolish countries. They are not only allowing this to happen, but actively participating in it!

When people are hell bent on destroying themselves, what can you do? You can keep trying to warn them, beg them to change their ways, offer help. But if all they do is mock you, spit on you and fight you every step of the way… I don’t think there’s much hope for them.

Alas, other than Israel, most countries meet your criterion of “foolish.”

Islamic radicalization needs to be treated as a pathology in itself, and not as a litmus test for society’s tolerance. If you don’t heed this warning, you will fall.

Same mistake is being committed, in Europe, USA, India, etc. Heed the warnings of Robert Spencer.

15% of all Muslims worldwide are jihad supporters….HOWEVER, most of these are young people. When Muslim teenagers learn about jihad, they want to conduct it…then in their late twenties they get ‘Salafi burnout’ and drop being a serious Muslim.

Western governments should begin to support secret programs to deprogram Muslims out of Islam.

Mr. Huygens’ employment should at least be terminated and suits filed against him for negligence. Is he still holding the job?

I suspect that filling a suit against a politician for negligence would open a terrible precedent – for politicians, at least.

Change that name–play the language game the left loves, and you can have it!

Notice my name. Can’t argue with that, can you?

      I’ll give you an example:

Liberals want open borders but at the same time liberals want total and utter sensitivity to the immigrants.
This in and of itself is totally schizophrenic, but nevermind that–it’s liberalism (twisted lies for oppressing others).
Well if we really were sensitive to other cultures, WHY WOULD WE UPROOT THEM FROM THEIR HOMELAND AND BRING THEM HERE? Unless we want cheap labor and that is called SLAVERY.

So, liberals advocate for slavery in the U.S. in the year 2015!!! That’s just the fact.

If the U.S. is so bad, WHY BRING THESE POOR SOULS HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE?

If you claim to be culturally sensitive, WHY DON;T YOU SUPPORT PEOPLE IN THEIR HOMELAND???

There is just so much hypocrisy here it’s hard to unwrap it all but we have to try because the cost is so high now.

It’s time to call the liberals out for their hypocrisy and sassy little blogs won’t do it. We have to make them think all the way through their misguided logic and show them every step of the way where they are wrong. They don’t like to think too deeply. Too bad we stopped teaching logic in school. That’s where we went wrong.

    • Oppressaphobe says

      Dec 28, 2015 at 9:21 am

We can have a version of islamophobia (also called intelligence or survival instinct) but you have to change the language.

Once the left has coined a term, we must move on to other ways of communicating our very valid concerns.

      Example:

Instead of saying, no more muslims, we need to talk about the hypocrisy of the people that HATE AMERICA AND BLAME IT FOR EVERYTHING BAD, but still want to bring in immigrants and fight tooth and nail for ANY immigrants right to come to our country.

This doesn’t even make sense, but we let them get away with such childish lies.

Liberals talk about sensitivity to cultures but then they advocate for people to leave their homelands to come here. Why do they think that people of other cultures would be BETTER OFF IN AMERICA???

People from Mexico, people from Syria DON’T ULTIMATELY WANT TO COME TO AMERICA.

THEY WANT TO STAY WHERE THEY ARE, JUST LIKE WE DO!! So how they claim to be the culturally sensitive group and at the same time they advocate for entire populations to just up and leave their roots, their families, their friends, their traditions, their language, their climate, their food, their culture, their religion…

for what…AMERICA?? What is America so great now that everyone should come here???

Get it straight. Either America is evil and they should stay there or

America is a great place and they should be allowed to come here.

BUT YOU CAN’T ADVOCATE FOR IMMIGRATION AND HATE AMERICA AT THE SAME TIME.

But the young people of America don’t really think too much so you have to walk them through your logic step by step. Short, insulting post won’t get you where you want to go.

Of course, the real problem is that corporations are USING THESE POOR DUMB AMERICANS BECAUSE THEY WANT MODERN DAY SLAVERY.

But nobody will expose the corporations. If anybody were serious about changing things the first thing they would do is EXPOSE THE NAMES OF ALL THE CORPORATIONS THAT WANT MODERN DAY SLAVERY.

And then the names of all the politicians looking for votes for the democratic party.

THE BRUSSELS NO-GO ZONES are the future of Europe and North America.

The only way to stop these jihad centers is to dismantle them and dissipate the Muslims, making it impossible for them to form jihad clubs. This will substantively mean closing most mosques which are all jihad promoters.

Eventually, Muslims will need to be quarantined in Muslim countries and not welcomed anywhere if they cannot stop the jihad from happening.

“He had been distraught after the death of his father a few years earlier, and a brother reported that Mr. Hadfi started smoking marijuana and skipping classes and that he would “hang out with the wrong friends.”…

Here lies the toxic danger that Islam presents to Western societies. If you take Islam out of the the equation, this guy would have ended up in a street gang committing petty crime, stealing cars. Add Islam, and you end up with a suicide terror attack that pleases Allah and gives purpose to Hadfi’s life. Toxic Islam.

      Dec 28, 2015 at 9:47 am

Really GOOD point. I don’t see much difference between the terrorists and the hateful black young men, or gang members. Just different kinds of crimes.

Take the Las Vegas murderer Lakeisha Holloway and her boyfriend, who you knew was at the root of all of this, Anthony White Jr.

Information about him as not been forthcoming. But what I’ve seen so far leads me to think, either convert to islam, or gang member or just miscellaneous trash.

It’s too weird that he had two 1996 oldsmobiles, very well maintained, and one had these KILLER HUBCAPS! He posted them on FACEBOOK????? WEIRD!!!!!

So the very car that killed innocent white people on Christmas vacation in las vegas was pictured on facebook. Nobedy finds that weird?? His pictures are also strange, always using some body language.

And nobody talked about how they lived in Lousiana, why did they say Texas and why did they go between Louisiana and Texas so much? Mosques, drugs? SOMETHING. But they are not talking, are they.

      • Oppressaphobe says

        Dec 28, 2015 at 10:02 am

And remember how they said she was going to Texas to see the babydaddy?

I wondered why you would end up ON THE STRIP if you are going due south to Texas from Portland. She may have been going to Louisiana? but still too weird.

They lie and they continue to lie to us about anything that exposes them that
THEY ARE NOT DOING WHAT THEY GET PAID BY US TO DO!!!
JOB SECURITY REQUIRES THEM TO LIE.

Because Islam is the so-called JUSTIFICATION for victimhood status.

NOBODY WANTS TO BE A HERO ANYMORE; THEY JUST WANNA BE A VICTIM

WHAT HAPPEN TO SUPERMAN? SPIDERMAN? SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN?

I guess hollywoods agenda has changed.

The warning were ignored, much like my inquiries about the moslem female attending the same orientation and training session for an OTR company I attended back in November have been ignored. I asked a classmate of hers what a muslim was doing here, learning to drive tractor trailers to she could pack more explosives that could be loaded onto a smaller truck? Not two hours after that, I was escorted off company property and taken to the bus station.
Like the billboards say, “If you see something, say something”, I said something and was kicked out, maybe I should have just called the terrorist hotline instead of relying on the school’s administration.
