Last week, outside the Public Library in Cambridge, Massachusetts, a personable, presentable, sweet-faced young Muslimah, one Mona Haydar, stood for several hours with her husband Sebastian (a convert to Islam), offering donuts and coffee to passersby under two big signs that read “Ask A Muslim” and “Talk To A Muslim.”
Some of those passersby did indeed stop and took part, she reported, in “a meaningful series of conversations about religion, politics, history, and sports.” We have her word for it that these conversations were “meaningful,” for she does not provide any details as to what that word “meaningful” might mean. And we don’t know how much of that series of conversations was devoted to “religion.” Her aim was to “just talk to people…[to show them] that we [Muslims] are just normal people.”
Nothing detailed, either, about what being “normal people” might mean, given that normal Muslims are taught by their scriptures — Qur’an and Hadith — to behave quite aggressively, even murderously, toward other normal, but non-Muslim people, precisely because many of those normal but non-Muslim people made the terrible and unforgivable mistake of not accepting the Qur’an in its true version, but only in a distorted and perverted version (that goes by the name “the Bible”) that rightly earned them Muslim aggression and hatred.
What impelled Mona Haydar to this act of comical outreach, one which showed her that, after all, “the [non-Muslim] community is loving” because she and those non-Muslim passersby all had that meaningful series of conversations about religion, politics, etc.? It was apparently her perception that there is all this “misplaced and misguided” fear in America of Muslims, on the part of non-Muslims, that made her bring out the coffee and donuts, and stand around hoping to engage in a meaningful series of conversations with those non-Muslims whose fears are entirely “misplaced and misguided.”
“Misplaced and misguided.” There have been nearly 30,000 terrorist acts by Muslims against non-Muslims all over the world since 9/11/2001, including a number in America, and one of them – you will remember even if Mona Haydar cannot — was a spectacular one in Boston just a few years ago, with the Tsarnaev brothers strutting their murderous stuff at the Marathon’s finish line.
Yet in Mona Haydar’s worldview, it is the non-Muslims whose attitudes and behavior are on trial. Happy to discover that the “community [of non-Muslims] is loving” and can be made more so if only these non-Muslims can have a chance to meet a real, smiling, friendly, coffee-and-donuts Muslim, and talk about politics, history, sports and, just possibly, religion, Mona Haydar knows that it is not the non-Muslims who need to be reassured. No, they ought rather be made to feel embarrassed about their “misplaced and misguided” and quite unnecessary fear. The only justified fear is that which Muslims feel: fear at the terrible thoughts some non-Muslims may have of them, so baselessly, so cruelly. To them, those fearful Muslims, Mona Haydar sent a reassuring message online that “the world is a good and beautiful place with small pockets of hatred here and there….and so remember this post when you are faced with bigotry and hatred towards you or your faith.” That’s right – when Muslims are faced with that irrational, misguided “bigotry and hatred,” they should remember that they are “as American as apple pie.”
Of course there were many questions that might have been asked and that, in her attempting answering, would have met something beyond the feelgood farce that was the order of the day. What would an honest conversation about Islam, making any kind of sense at all, have to be like? It would require paying attention to the canonical texts, the all-important Qur’an (a text revealed to Muhammad over 23 years) and the Hadith (the written record of what Muhammad, the Perfect Man, al-insan al-kamil, said and did).
What kind of questions might you have asked, if you had been there, and had been invited to “Ask A Muslim”? I think I’d have started with the Qur’an and the duty of Jihad. I’d ask Ms. Haydar if she recognized such a duty in the Qur’an, and then just to prod her memory, I’d begin to read aloud the 164 jihad verses in the Qur’an. I might have asked Mona Haydar, for example, to expatiate upon the meaning Sura 9:5, the Verse of the Sword: “When the sacred months are over slay the idolaters wherever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them. If they repent and take to prayer and render the alms levy, allow them to go their way. Allah is forgiving and merciful.”
Who are those “idolaters”? What does it mean to “arrest” and “besiege” and “lie in ambush” for them? And what does it mean to “render the alms levy” which would allow those “idolaters” to “go their way”? This is what we should begin to ask when we “Ask A Muslim.”
Or take Sura 2:191-193: “And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief or unrest] is worse than killing…but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun (the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)”
Could Mona Haydar explain this verse, explain who is to kill whom, and why, and what Al-Fitnah is, and what it means to fight certain people until there is no more Fitnah?
Youth wants to know, and youth wants to know a whole lot more from Mona Haydar. Take Qur’an 8:60: “Strike terror into the hearts of the enemies of Allah.” This phrase comes up quite often in the Qur’an, and has even been found on the Facebook pages of Muslim killers. Could that phrase possibly mean something like “strike terror into the hearts of the enemies of Allah”? Surely if we Ask A Muslim about anything, we will want to Ask A Muslim about that.
And what does “fight in the path of Allah” mean? That’s another phrase that one would like to “Ask a Muslim.” It’s all over the Qur’an. When Mona Haydar stood under that sign, and waited, and chatted about this and that, you can bet that not one of her ill-prepared or simply simple-minded interlocutors asked her about striking terror, or fighting in the path of Allah, or anything at all that had to do with the actual Qur’an, or the real Hadith.
Perhaps Infidels ought to come armed for mental combat, and when they stop by the mona-haydars of this world, they will have notecards on which a few excerpts from the Qur’an – 9:5, 9:29, 8:12, 4:76, 4:78 come immediately to mind, but so do many others – have been written down. You can make your own list. And come prepared, too, to ask a Muslim about what 2:256 (“There is no compulsion in religion”) means to Muslims in practice, something so very different from what an innocent non-Muslim would naturally take it to mean.
And then there is the Muslim apologist’s favorite verse – 5:32. George Bush and Barack Obama also liked to quote it. As Obama put it, “The Holy Koran teaches that whoever kills an innocent, it is as if he has killed all mankind; and whoever saves a person, it is as if he has saved all mankind.” The passage actually says this: “Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, after that, throughout the land, were transgressors.”
That may be the one verse every apologist for Islam knows, and there is one verse that every non-Muslim interlocutor ought to have at the ready. To wit, the critical modifier of 5:32, which is 5:33: “The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land.”
So ask away: who are “those who make war upon Allah and His messenger” and what is meant by “corruption in the land,” the key exception made in 5:32 for killing? Surely these are questions Mona Haydar and all her tribe should be expected to answer.
And you might want to ask a Muslim a few questions about Muhammad himself. Why is he called “the Perfect Man” (al-insan al-kamil) and the Model of Conduct (uswa hasana) and what are the consequences of this for Muslims today? And what about all those battles he took part in, listed and described in the Kitab al-Waghazi – what was all that war-making about, so very different from how Jesus spent his days? Yes, and when did Muhammad marry little Aisha, and why does that matter to Muslims today? And why did he take such pleasure in the assassination of the poetess Asma bint Marwan and of Abu Afak, the 100-year-old Jewish man in Medina who just wasn’t sufficiently enthusiastic about Muhammad and therefore deserved death? Or what about the Battle of the Trench, where Muhammad’s men, to his evident pleasure, and apparently Muhammad himself also, decapitated between 600 and 900 bound members of the Banu Qurayza? Or why exactly did Muhammad and his men attack the inoffensive Jewish farmers of the Khaybar Oasis, and how did they divvy up the spoils of war?
It should be fun preparing the notecards for these encounters. I urge everyone to go to these Outreach Nights at local mosques (I’ve done it myself, causing great consternation with only an innocent question or two), or these sidewalk encounters with smiling mona-haydars. But now, instead of a jejune farce, you will have a real discussion, one based on adducing what Muslims learn from their reading of Qur’an and Hadith. It will be now not a nonsensical but a salutary encounter, because you – the inquiring non-Muslim — will be cooking with gas when you dare to…. Ask A Muslim.
But in the actual event, no one brought up any of these unpleasant details, possibly because they were simply ignorant, possibly because they were recognized only to dismiss the idea that there are “small pockets of hatred here and there.” Mona Haydar does not identify these pockets or find their origins, in any particular faith, but immediately suggests that the victims of such “hatred” must be Muslims because many, though not all, instead of “asking a Muslim,” made comments that were more or less statements of regret over how badly Muslims were treated in this country, and emphasized how important it was for non-Muslims to understand the true, the good, the inoffensive Islam that was embodied in the smiling face of the outreaching Ms. Haydar.
There are variations on this theme being played out all over the country. Smiles and wiles, and just possibly, coffee and donuts too, for non-Muslims passing by on the street. And all those members of the local mosque perform an evening’s outreach, where the one thing never to be discussed is Islamic theology, and bromides about brotherhood are the interfaith healing racket’s order of the day, but the chicken and pita are delicious. What more could one ask for?

KrazyKafir says
The standard reply is always that those verses are meant for those who are at war with Islam. Which is where verse 9:29 comes in so handy because it’s much harder to claim that when the verse doesn’t say fight those who are fighting you, but, fight those “who do not believe in Allah” until they “do” believe in Allah, or live under the yoke of Islamic law as humiliated dhimmis.
Christianblood says
Indeed.
Some one should have stood next to them with such verses as 9:29 and many others and also with the photos various islamic beheadings and of 9/11 victims jumping to their deaths after there were attacked by murderous islamic jihadists.

This sweet faced young girl is the perfect “bait” and Islam is the perfect “switch”.

I agree, this is the standard qur’an verse to “ask a muslim” what it means. Beginning with the verb “fight” which in Arabic has the root q-t-l which means killing. Also, the qital is for reasons of what the people of the book don’t believe. And also ask when does the fighting stop? (when the jizya is paid in humble subjection meaning what?). This one cannot use the taqiyya of being “self-defense” fighting.
abad says
Precisely why it is NEVER a good idea to ask a Muslim what Islam is all about.
I never would.
They lie, lie, lie, lie, LIE about their own religion non-stop.
nacazo says
Still I would ask. They cannot wiggle out all the time. And even if they lie straight to your face, they know themselves that they are lying and you increase the possibility that their cognitive dissonance starts cracking their mental armor. There’s always hope.
nacazo says
My comment is for cases where you can discuss safely, like in an internet comment section, in a public forum where there is security. With a murderous jihadi, I agree discussion is useless.

Whenever you ask a Muslim about some particular verse such as my favorite, 98:6, which defines non-believers as the most vile of created beings, they always act like the Koran is full of asterisks with notes at the bottom of the page in tiny print, or numbered notes that you can look up at back of the book in the notes section. You see if you bother to read the asterisks or the numbered notes you will find that the original verse really doesn’t say what it says.
mortimer says
Here are some more verses that don’t say what they say:
Koran 28:86 “Do not support the kafireen in any way.”
Koran 5.51 “He amongst you who turns to them (for friendship) is of them.”
Koran 40:35 “They who dispute the signs (verses) of Allah without authority having reached them are greatly hated by Allah and the believers.” (Note: not just “hated”, but “greatly hated”.)
Koran 48:29: “Muhammad is God’s apostle. Those who follow him are violent to the unbelievers, but compassionate to one another.”
Koran 4: 101 “The kuffar are for you a clear enemy.”
Koran 8:60 “Terrorize the enemy of Allah and your enemy”
Koran 60:4 “We have rejected you, and there has arisen between us and you enmity and hatred, until you believe and worship Allaah alone.”
Koran 3: 118 “O you who believe! Do not take into your intimacy those outside your ranks. They will not fail to corrupt you.”
Examples of al-Baraa from historic figures:
-from Ahmad Sirhindi (1564-1624).
“The honour of Islam lies in insulting kufr and kafirs. One who respects the kafirs dishonours the Muslims… The real purpose of levying jiziya on them is to humiliate them to such an extent that they may not be able to dress well and to live in grandeur. They should constantly remain terrified and trembling. It is intended to hold them under contempt and to uphold the honour and might of Islam.”
-from ibn Taymiyya, “Book of Emaan”:
“… true believers show animosity and hatred towards disbelievers and never support them.”
-from Umar Sulayman ‘Abd-Allaah al-Ashqar, “Belief in Allah”:
“The Muslim should regard the Kuffaar as enemies and hate them because of their kufr, just as he hates their kufr (disbelief) itself.”
‘Al Walaa wal Baraa’ is the doctrine of Islamic apartheid.
‘Al Walaa wal Baraa’ is the best supported doctrine in Islam.
Atheist7 says
Hi JAT394, I think that you are wrong in saying that there are no moderate Muslims.
Since both the Bible and the Islamic holy books contain good stuff and bad stuff, to be a good person, just ignore the bad stuff and focus on the good stuff. Most Christians have not even read their own Bible so they are, for the most part, unaware of the evil contained within. Believers in God are no longer stoning people to death, burning them alive, or killing homosexuals. So “moderate” Christians have become “mainstream”. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Islam.
Based on my personal world view (which can change with new data), I put Muslims into three classes:
1. Muslims that have read enough of the Koran, Hadith, and Sira to realize that there is both good and evil in their religion. They reject the evil and focus on the good. I call this group the “moderate” Muslims. If they have the opportunity, they will leave Islam – at great risk to their own personal safety.
2. Muslims that have not read their own holy books. They go to their Mosque, pray when they are supposed to, and do what they are told. These people are very easily manipulated or radicalized. If they are told to do evil – they will. If not, they won’t.
3. Muslims who have studied the Islamic Holy Books and try to emulate Mohammad in every way. Their objective is to carry out Jihad and bring the world under Sharia Law. These are the true believers of Islam – who are, unfortunately, called by the West “Radical”. Any Muslim that you meet could be a true believer (radical) – even the smiley donut girl. After all, did not Mohammad say: “War is deceit”.
I don’t know how good my classification scheme is, nor do I have any idea as to the proportion of each in the various countries around the world, but data from various sources should be available.
Rev g says
Christians are not commanded to do any of the things you claim.
Even for Jews, such ancient practices were internal to their community, not universal.
Such things cannot be said of the koranic commands.
Nora Bedrossian says
Islam summarized: Founded by a pedophile, married to 14 legal women simultaneously one of who was 8 years old, had 26 sex slaves, was a criminal and advocated same. If you agree with these beliefs and convert then you know what IQ you have.
Christianblood says
Well-said, Nora
Atheist7 says
Nora, I don’t think that we should push the pedophile thing so much. At the time of Mohammad it was customary for an older male to “marry” a younger female – so Mohammad was just being “mainstream”.
Dacritic says
1. You’re right. There ARE “moderate” Muslims. Unfortunately, there is no moderate Islam.
2. Muhammad could very well be “mainstream”. However, 1.6 billion people see him as the excellent model of a human being for ALL TIMES, so he SHOULD have been above “mainstream”. Besides marrying an 8-year-old, the other source of embarrassment was that his god allowed him to also marry his daughter-in-law who was married to his adopted son.
Maybe it’s just me but, I find that it doesn’t make any sense when a supposedly eternal book, which has been written on eternal “tablets” contains parts where it interferes with an individual’s contemporary sex life and allows him to snatch his own adopted son’s wife.
Athheist7 says
Discussions about sex may be interesting, but I find excessive preoccupation with Bill Cosby, Bill Clinton, Ted Haggard, and Mohammad to be counter productive. The really important issue here is: How can we stop Islam from taking over the world? To do that we need to know why Islam is so successful. This link can help a lot: http://www.inquiryintoislam.com/2010/07/why-is-islam-so-successful.html

Another one of my favourite, 9:111.
“Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah , so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur’an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah ? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment.”
I suppose this verse was also trying to bring the first apostles of Jesus who were almost all martyred (therefore “killed”) by mentioning that it is a “promise binding upon Him in the Torah and Gospel…”
Key difference: Those apostles in the Gospels didn’t kill. It was Muhammad and his followers who both “kill and are killed.”

I would add, that many naïve Muslims are ok as people.
Islamic identity does however lead to willful Ignorance of Islam’s hate speech.
Muslims no doubt, wish to think of themselves as good people and will defend and rationalize Islam’s glaring shortcomings in order to preserve their own personal self-esteem.

I would ask her
— Does her convert husband have the right to beat her and keep her children in divorce, or does she have some leverage because he is a convert.
— If Mona divorces with (“her husband Sebastian (a convert to Islam)”) will the Muslim community and her own family be less judgmental toward her than is typical of the woman in Islam, than if her husband and her husband’s family were full-fledged long-time Muslims?
Why did Mona marry a convert to Islam?
Is she a divorced Muslimah and unable to get a ‘real’ Muslim husband?
Renee says
See, she says we could ask her. That at least is something.
Free speech, even if we do not like the answer.

Please think about this: the high command of the Nazi Party were all highly educated and refined, but they believed in the master race theory and managed the destruction of millions because of their race or religion. Dr. Mengele was a cultured and well-spoken man, but he was deceitful and performed painful experiments on live victims.
Islam is a MASTER RELIGION ideology that gives Muslims the right to treat kafirs violently, rape them, lie to them, rob them, enslave them and destroy their cultures.
Mona Haydar adheres to Islam. There is no Islam-à-la-carte…there is only Islam…the Islam of the hadiths, of the consensus and of the fatwas.
Mona Haydar does not have the right to invent her own ‘nice’ version of Islam. That is called ‘bida’ (innovation). Bida is punishable by death.
Either Mona Haydar is lying about what she believes or she is creating her own version of Islam (‘bida’). If ‘bida’, Mona Haydar should be executed.
So which is it?
Mo says
@ Renee
“I am sorry, but I really think she meant well.”
I thought so too, at first glance. But the more I thought about it, the more I now disagree. The very fact that she’s doing this for the reasons listed here demonstrates her arrogance and condescension towards non-Muslims. Why do I say that? Because there are underlying assumptions at play here. Mainly, that non-Muslims people are 1) afraid of Muslims and that they afraid 2) for misplaced and misguided reasons. Only mean, nasty, bigoted people are afraid of others for “misplaced / misguided” reasons. And only nice, sweet, open minded people are willing to engage with such bigots, and in an open place like this.
The dichotomy is set: Muslims = good/open minded, non-Muslims = bigoted, closed minded.
Let’s backtrack. First, it needs to be demonstrated that non-Muslims are afraid of Muslims. Maybe some are, maybe some are not. I don’t see any evidence that there’s a systemic, nationwide fear of Muslims in general.
Second, even granting that first premise that there’s a nationwide, general fear of Muslims, it then has to be established that such a fear is misplaced or misguided.
The very basis of her actions in doing this is that these two assumptions are factually true. That makes us the “bad guys” and Muslims the victims. This deflects from and obfuscates the very real issue of Muslim violence against non-Muslims.
What needed to be done was to have people challenging these underlying assumptions first.
William says
I agree with you Mo. When a Mohammedan offers to explain their religion to non-Mohammedans, the implicit assumption is that the non-Mohammedans are in error. The error is in the fact that we mistrust Mohammedans and feel threatened by Mohammedanism. We are in error because we lack understanding of the religion, one of peace and justice. To correct our error, we must be educated.
There are two problems with that argument. First, our conclusion or inference is not irrational. It is in fact grounded in objective evidence. The evidence is that Mohammedans are killing people in the name of their religion. It is not irrational to feel threatened and be distrustful of those who share the same beliefs when we are unable to differentiate the safe from the deadly ones.
Second, those same Mohammedans lecturing us fail to do the same with their coreligionists who murder, rape, intimidate, enslave, torture, and so on. It seems disingenuous to focus on correcting our rational distrust while disregarding the errors in their radical brothers and sisters. If they are concerned about the image of their religion, they should focus their energy at correcting them, rather than lecturing us about irrational fears. But, could it be that they don’t pursue that route because the radicals are not in error after all?
mortimer says
William wrote: “When a Mohammedan offers to explain their religion to non-Mohammedans…”
That’s a great opportunity to bring up some indefensible doctrines of Islam. It’s also a good time to bring up the intellectual problems in Islam…e.g. Allah’s poor writing in the Koran, misogyny, contradictions between the 2 Korans, differences in doctrine with the Bible (Mohammed said the Bible was the word of Allah and that no one can change Allah’s words…how did they change the Bible, then? Did Allah become weak?)…etc.
Take the opportunity by finding the most difficult arguments against the veracity of Islam as well as the amorality of Mohammed.

However our religion is not normal. It does tell us to kill non-Muslims, kill non-Believers in Islam, and those who “insult” Mohammad by thinking he was an impostor, and a cruel, murdering, misogynist, pedophile, control freak, megalomaniac, because of his words and his actions.
Our religion commands us to kill all those who stop believing in all the ridiculous lies our religion requires us to believe.

Richard says
True but I rather think that my explanation is more likely to be correct.
“Normal” people once they understand the true nature of Islam, are horrified by it and many leave it rather than try to defend the calls to hate and murder by lying and subterfuge.
In that sense I believe she is a “normal” person and hence ignorant, in denial and self deluded. Her actions are not those of a deceiving Jihadi, who incidentally do not deceive very well. (And hence she is capable of leaving Islam, and taking her idiot husband with her, after talking to her and eating her doughnuts.)
Dave J says
If she (or any Muslim) is genuinely “moderate” and wishes to reach out to non-Muslims with compassion, why doesn’t she reject all of the many verses in the Koran that command her to kill and enslave the disbelievers?
You can’t claim to be peaceful and tolerant unless you completely reject and condemn the vast majority of this evil book. Which they won’t do, so that makes this just play-acting, more deceit to fool the kuffars.
Renee says
Well, she gave the opportunity to debate that didn’t she? You were free to ask her.

I would add to that “be aware”
Muslim grovelers at NPR did their yearly mock fest of Christianity in order to show Muslims that they don’t actually mean to show any true reverence toward Christianity lest Muslims feel slighted or offended.
They changed the words to well-known Christmas carols that honored the birth of Jesus into slenderizing Christians as a whole.

Yes, the words they speak mean something different, like peace, mercy and some other words. At least the doughnut seems to be a doughnut.

It is not being paranoid to suspect EVERY moslem. It is stupid not to. They hate us and we know how “peaceful coexistence” ends, ask christians in Iraq, Siria or other places, including Europe where moslems get to power. To give them any benefit of doubt is either stupidity or treason.

As an ex-muslim, I would NEVER eat donuts prepared by muslims because they could be poisoning you. With muslims one has to (always) be very wary about their motives.
Dave J says
I do think that some number of Muslims take that approach, they are embarrassed on some level by their nasty religion (remember that the majority were born into it and then brainwashed to believe it). Yet they cannot reject the Koran so must go thru various twists and turns to rationalize it.
Doubting Muslims are truly “stuck between a rock and a hard place”.
But the vast majority do not question it for a moment.
Jay Boo says
Muslims will have to question Islam when they are forced by undeniable truths that even their liberal media enablers can no longer hide.
Even when we criticize Islamic behavior and ideology, we are often accused of criticizing the “person” who is a Muslim. This is how Muhammad the snake slithers away in the chaos.

I suppose that the thing I find most nauseating about all this is her apparent sense of self-importance that people should feel that they want to talk to her at all. Plus the fact that she must have been pretty cock-sure that she would be able to control any situation and not be demolished. Which was probably her bottom line – control.
Chris Chrisman says
There was a similar table set up in Santa Monica CA last fall where an attractive Muslima displayed a poster with a number of half-truths about Islam — e.g., All are treated equally in Islam, Islam teaches acceptance not intolerance, Islam is an Abrahamic religion, same as Judaism and Christianity, and belief in Islam is incomplete without the Torah, Bible, and Quran.
I decided to challenge her first claim by reading directly from Reliance of the Traveler, which I happened to have in my hands. Since she said she was a single woman, I selected Sharia laws that might apply to her: Para. m4.2(1) a non-Arab man is unsuitable to marry an Arab woman; Para. m4.2(3) a person of a lowly profession (tailor) would be unsuitable for the daughter of a merchant; Para. m6.7(5) — a Muslim woman can marry only a Muslim.
She listened to my litany of inequality in Islam, and then she said she had never heard of “Reliance of the Traveler.” The non-Muslims in the crowd snickered in disbelief. She never returned to that site again.

How about if Muslims like Mona Haydar openly condemn the actions of ISL, San Bernardiono, Paris, 9-11, ad nauseum?
Muslims need to STOP expecting non-Muslims to fix what is wrong with Islam.
Only Muslims can fox what is wrong with Islam.
Oh and I’d never accept coffee nor donuts from a Muslim like that. Forget it.

Dacritic says
Good one brother. However, I think Muslims cannot fix what is wrong with Islam. No one can. Because if Muslims do that, then it won’t be Islam anymore. Muslims believe Islam is perfect and does not need fixing. Islam, in its perfection, came with all the taqqiya and the fighting of Jews and Christians and the killing of infidels and Jizya extorting and marrying of daughters-in-law off own adopted sons and marrying and raping of children below 10 and taking sex slaves and wife beating etc.

Hmmm, were they paid to do this? Was this one of her “performances”?

Adrian says
@Mo… yes, we get quickly sucked into a point-by point argument using verses, statistics etc…. but the big question remains: why is she putting on this little drama for OUR sake?? (in other words, for muslim PR damage control)…
they need to be put on the spot and asked why their mosques are doing NOTHING except these little play-acting episodes for the media… by this point, any real ‘religion’ would be burning the midnight oil trying to organize education programs for their members so this would never happen again…

I really only see two or maybe three possible overall explanations for such behavior. First is that she’s a sincere, decent, person who has taken it upon herself to discuss a subject she really knows nothing about. That would make her an idiot and a fool. Akin to that she could be discussing a subject she has never actually studied, but has been grievously lied to about by others and that would still go with the idiot, fool explanation.
The other reason could be that she is herself a grievous liar.
Either way she is doing the Devil’s (Allah) service.

So, when is her flight to Turkey/ISIS?
Jack Diamond says
You are not going to get any orthodox responses from her, she is some kind of new age Muslim, quotes Ram Dass, and says “Allah. Om”. She also seems to be connected to Sufis.
One of her poems:
“Only God. Here I am.
Moses to Jesus to Muhamad.
Here I am.
only God.
Buddha inside Rio Grande gorge.
Om.”
You’d just get gobbledegook asking her about surah nine, though it might be of benefit to any infidels listening, might even get a more revealing rise out of her if you counter her inevitable response. But her theme is Islamophobia and bigotry and hate toward peaceful loving Muslims, like her and hubby, and tarring them with the likes of ISIS: (she tweets) “I totally understand the urge to hate Muslims given the popular rhetoric. If it were true, I’d hate Muslims too. But it’s not.”
“These psychopaths represent no religion. They represent their wounded souls & their evil tendencies towards violence. That isn’t religion.”
“ISIS &the far right have the same goal: create further division in the human family. This makes their systems prosper. Unity isnt profitable.”
And the point is this, “My son will grow up in a world that hates him for how he prays. That is the only difference between Muslims and anyone else.”
“I’m praying for peace. I’m praying that we all lay down the stones in our hands and find solace in the arms of one another. I’m praying for Love.” Ah, but she adds: “What does it mean to be a pacifist even when it is your family being hurt by oppressive and murderous tyrants?” Whoever could she mean?

Falsafa apparently finds the idea of world domination fanciful and funny. Classical Islam, however, takes world conquest seriously.
World conquest through jihad is a very well-supported doctrine within Islam.
Here are some Islamic authorities and Islam scholars who clearly state that world conquest is the goal of jihad:
-In the Muslim community, the holy war is a religious duty, because of the universalism of the [Muslim] mission and [the obligation to] convert everybody to Islam either by persuasion or by force… The other religious groups did not have a universal mission, and the holy war was not a religious duty for them, save only for purposes of defense… Islam is under obligation to gain power over other nations. (Ibn Khaldun, d.1406)
-The ultimate purpose of Jihad is to universalize the preeminence of Islam.(David Cook, Islamologist)
-“Demolish all governments and organizations that are established by man. The return of Allah’s kingdom can only be established with a sword. Absolute rebellion is a must against anything on earth that conflicts with Islam and to destroy it with great power”. (Sign Posts, Syed Qutb)
-definition of jihad from the Shorter Encyclopaedia of Islam, page 89, [7]: DJIHAD, holy war. The spread of Islam by arms is a religious duty upon Muslims in general…it must continue to be done until the whole world is under the rule of Islam.”
-The Caliph fights all other peoples until they become Muslim …”(The “Reliance of the Traveler, the Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law, p.599)
-“You infidels and despots, we will continue our jihad and never stop until God avails us to chop your necks and raise the fluttering banner of monotheism, when God’s rule is established GOVERNING ALL PEOPLE AND NATIONS.” (Mujahedeen Shura Council, 2006)
-“…[W]e will stand against the whole world and will not cease until the ANNIHILATION of all [infidels]…Either we shake one another’s hands in joy at the victory of Islam in the world, or all of us will turn to eternal life and martyrdom.” (Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini)
-“We will control the land of the Vatican; we will control Rome and introduce Islam in it. Yes, the Christians … will yet pay us the Jiziya, in humiliation, or they will convert to Islam…” (Saudi Sheikh Muhammad bin Abd Al-Rahman Al-’Arifi, Imam of the mosque of King Fahd Defense Academy, April 2005)
-“Islam is in fundamental, even mortal, conflict with the rest of the world.” (Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, 5/25/05)
-“Blood must flow. There must be widows, there must be orphans…We conquer the land of the infidels, and we spread Islam by calling the infidels to Allah.” (Fayiz Azzam, 1990)
-The state which is regarded as the instrument for universalizing a certain religion must perforce be an ever expanding state. The Islamic state, whose principal function was to put God’s law into practice, sought to establish Islam as the dominant reigning ideology over the entire world….The jihad was therefore employed as an instrument for both the universalization of religion and the establishment of an imperial world state. (P. 51, War and Peace in the Law of Islam, 1955, Majid Khadduri)
-Muslim jurists agreed that the purpose of fighting with the People of the Book…is one of two things: it is either their conversion to Islam or the payment of jizyah.” Nyazee concludes: “This leaves no doubt that the primary goal of the Muslim community, in the eyes of its jurists, is to spread the word of Allah through jihad, and the option of poll-tax [jizya] is to be exercised only after subjugation” of non-Muslims.(The Methodology of Ijtihad,Imran Ahsan Khan Nyazee, Assistant Professor on the Faculty of Shari’ah and Law of the International Islamic University in Islamabad, 1994)
-from the Shafi’i manual of Sharia law endorsed by the most prestigious institution in Sunni Islam, Al-Azhar University in Cairo…it says the Caliph “makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians…until they become Muslim or else pay the non-Muslim poll tax,” and cites Koran 9:29 in support of this idea: “Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and who forbid not what Allah and His messenger have forbidden-who do not practice the religion of truth, being of those who have been given the Book-until they pay the poll tax out of hand and are humbled.” (‘Umdat al-Salik o9.8, English:Reliance of the Traveller)
-“Jihad is a divinely ordained institution in Islam. By many authorities it is counted as one of the pillars of Islam. Theologically, it is an intolerant idea: a tribal god, Allah, trying to be universal through conquest. Historically, it was an imperialist urge masked in religious phraseology.” (Understanding Islam through Hadis, Ram Swarup)
-“Many thanks to God, for his kind gesture, and choosing us to perform the act of Jihad for his cause and to defend Islam and Muslims. Therefore, killing you and fighting you, destroying you and terrorizing you, responding back to your attacks, are all considered to be great legitimate duty in our religion.” (Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his fellow 9/11 defendants)
These are a few of the myriad WORLD CONQUEST claims by Muslims. To deny this doctrine as Falsafa does goes against overwhelming evidence.

It’s not a fan club. This is a site for serious discussion and information on the death cult of Islam.
The rest of your run on sentence is nearly incomprehensible. But there is nothing funny about the teachings of the death cult of Islam. It’s a very serious matter. And if you’re a follower of this death cult, it’s a matter of your eternal soul.
Know that we know what your ideology teaches, so any taqiyya by you is useless here. Know that we will not submit to your death cult.
I hope you find freedom from it as well.
Wellington says
Christianity, Falsafa, is not a totalitarian ideology but Islam most certainly is. Huge difference. Couldn’t be any bigger. Christianity is not an enemy of liberty while Islam is a mortal enemy of liberty. One knows this or should know it.
As for sins by Christians, they have always been in violation of their faith’s tenets when sinning but Islam, by contrast, encourages sinful behavior by way of being the only major religion which calls for war to be made upon the unbeliever “until all religion is with Allah.” {Sura 8:39} Islam alone among the major faiths instructs its believers to use force in carrying out religious beliefs and dictates.
But get back to me when Christian suicide bombers start appearing, along with Christians cutting off heads and threatening death for criticizing or mocking their religion and I’ll reconsider things. Ditto for Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, et al. Till then, wise up——-and you really will have to do much better than your post above if you’re going to take on regulars here at JW. Meanwhile, just since 9/11 there have been over 27,000 documented Islamic terrorist attacks worldwide and this figure keeps going up on virtually a daily basis. And how many documented Christian terrorist attacks have there been during this same time period?
Your turn if you care. Your turn if you can.

In the world where not a day passes by that you coreligionists don’t knife, bomb, deliberately run over with a car or try to murder non-Muslims in any way they can, whether Christian or Jew, your comment is offensive.
It is not paranoid to acknowledge that practitioners of Islam are violent, intolerant and extremely aggressive, it’s a fact. So called peaceful Muslims who fail to acknowledge that their religion poses danger to others are clearly supporting those who are violent, giving them cover and excusing their acts.
Frankly, im sick to the stomach any time I hear about ‘only a small minority of Muslims being violent’. If it is so, how come the entire Muslim world mistreats its religious minorities and why the entire Muslim world is violent towards their non Muslim neighbors? And why do Muslims settling in non-Muslim countries begin to behave violently, as soon as their numbers increase.
If it wasn’t for Muslims we wouldn’t be spending billions on security.

Hi Falsafa, thanks for contributing to this site. Yes, I agree with you in that the site is essentially a Robert Spencer Fan Club – but that is with good reason. Robert has been able to collect a significant body of information regarding Muslim-Christian interaction. Most of which is probably true and all of which needs to be critically evaluated.
Based on my evaluation of the photo of Mona Haydar and her husband, I would guess that Mona Haydar is actually a very sweet girl and that her husband is totally in love with her and will do whatever she says (and not the other way around).
That said, you should be aware that your holy books have a scary similarity to the early books of the Old Testament in which the God of the Jews is a conquering warlord destroying his enemies. Also note that the death and destruction inflicted by ISIS on the world is in complete agreement with the philosophy of the Mohammad of Medina.

There are four kinds of deception, namely;

Self Deception
What we know Muslims engage in is Taqqya and Kitman, which is the girls obligation by the Islamic teaching. Alinsky is what we like to listen to in news reporting. It is the fabrication of the truth through sliding and deflection – a way to oil your way to a victory dance over the person who thought this was serious. Then there is the self deception that Islam could not possibly be this bad. Ignoring the threat that Iran will kill us is just one such effort at sticking our heads in the sand.

– Were Mohammed’s recurrent spirit possessions throughout life a real mental illness?

– Do you realize that Islamic supremacism cannot be practiced in the modern world? No slavery? No jizya? No zakat? No hisbah? No polygamy? No jihad? All these practices of Islam are suppressed, right?
– Is jihad the same as ethnic cleansing? Is jihad physical and cultural genocide?
– Why are you not a jihadist at this moment? Will Allah reject you since you don’t conduct jihad?
– Why have you abandoned your original religion of jihad?
– Are you a hypocrite who does not conduct jihad?

Mortimer, I am wondering if it would be more profitable, that is, making a linear progression of thoughts and arguments, to begin a conversation with the Mohammedan female with the question: What the radical Mohammedans are doing is bad. True? (I know that they are capable of being sophistical by agreeing it is bad, but only for the image of their religion. Consequently, we would have to parse every word carefully). If we can agree in the affirmative, I think it would be a starting point in a conversation. From there, we could make baby steps, only progressing after each point or proposition is mutually acceptable. This method would be very time consuming as progress may be interminably slow, requiring a Socrates-like doggedness. But each point of accord will be a triumph in the pursuit of truth. Each point of agreement would be nearly an end in itself. That is, we may not need to go to a final resolution. I think this process would be different from the fraudulent inter-faith dialogs in that the original premise is radically different. For the inter-faithers, the beginning premise is that all religions are the same in that they have the same purpose. That premise is an assumption that is probably not true. With the method outlined above, the beginning premise would be based on a shared morality, call it natural law or something else.
mortimer says
Conversation? Impossible, because Mohammedans don’t dialogue…they ‘raid’…quick in and then quick out. They do not wish for a conversation, because their arguments cannot be defended intellectually…at that point they make threats…either violence or more often they threaten you with hellfire.
The best method, imho, is the ‘mouse-trap’ method. You ask a Muslim to take the ‘cheese’ of a question to which you already know the answer…an answer that refutes Islam. Then you lead the mouse to the cheese. The trap springs and the Muslim is caught in his lies with clearly expressed Islamic texts that show the absurdity and amorality of the Death Cult.
There is then no escape from concluding that ISLAM IS FALSE.

Hugh Fitzgerald provides no link to the source of this report and photo (a newspaper article?), but an online search on “Sebastian Haydar” found
http://richardhughes.ca/this-is-mona-haydar-care-for-a-doughnut-cup-of-coffee/
which has a wider-field photo. It is still not clear whether Mona and her mahram Sebastian had any Islamic scripture close at hand. My guess is No, because ready access to the texts of Islam would not be conducive to demonstrating the niceness of these donut distributors. So if you attend such an Ask A Muslim event, be prepared to bring your own Islamic literature. Here are a few question I would like to ask…
[1] Please explain the pro-abortion stance in the Islamic catechism “Reliance of the Traveller” (‘Umdat al-Salik). Its chapter “o”, paragraph o1.2(4), says that six persons are entitled to abort with impunity (even years post-birth): the two parents and the four grandparents.
[2] There must be dozens of jokes that begin “Jesus, Buddah, and Muhammad walked into this bar …”. What’s your favorite J-B-M joke?
[3] Does Quran 5:32 apply to Muslims as well as to Jews? The other day I was strolling along the Niagara River, lariat in hand, when I noticed four people drifting in the water, about to be swept over the falls. I lassoed one of them onto shore. I could easily have saved the other three too, but then I thought, “Ah, what the hell. Let ’em drown. I already saved one, so according to 5:32, I earn the same number of morality points as if I had saved all 7 billion people in the world. There’s never any moral incentive to save more than one person.” And conversely, if I shoot someone dead, there’s no moral penalty for shooting all the witnesses dead too. Please explain this “numbers don’t matter” moral reasoning.
Singh the Sikh says
Ignorance, stupidity, dopiness, denial, victimhood mentality, self-pity, self-righteousness, lack of self-awareness, no empathy with victims of islamic terrorism, self-seeking, ungratefulness, ostrich mentality, all rolled in one, typical product of an islamic upbringing. Blind, deaf and mute to all the atrocities committed under islam on innocents and terrorist plots uncovered almost daily. Doesn’t even know the koran, for f…ks sake.

She’s in denial, Singh. I doubt she’s uninformed. It’s all taqiyya.

We must assume she is doing taqqiya. No Muslim, not even a “personable, presentable, sweet-faced” one, can ever be given the benefit of the doubt.
In fact, if I was a Muslim leader looking to suck in the greatest number of gullible passers-by, I would send out this kind-faced beaming young girl over a scowling bearded ideologue any day.

Impossible to tell from a single photograph whether she is in fact peaceful and friendly.
Remember the BBC documentary featuring Stacy Dooley where she returns to her hometown of Luton to survey the changes brought by Muslim immigration? At one point she talks to a handful of Muslims in a huge empty Mosque who are friendly. You can tell that they are sincere.
But these few friendlies contrast with the hundreds angry, hateful Muslims encountered by Stacy elsewhere in Luton. That jibes with my personal experiences, too. Moderate Muslims exist, but they are a small minority. The vast majority are hateful, either in word (most) or deed (the rest of them).

Questions for the smiley Muslim girl and her hubby:
1. The Koran suggests that non-believers are inferior to believers. Do you reject those verses?
2. There are effectively two Korans – the peaceful Mecca Koran and the violent Medina Koran? Do you reject the violence toward non-believers that is expressed in the Medina Koran?
3. Do you believe that Mohammad should be emulated in every way?
4. Can you tell if I am a Jew, a Christian, or an Atheist? (You cannot because all three groups merge to become part of the western culture. Why do Muslims make a loud and obvious statement as to what religion they belong to – instead of merging into our culture?
5. Do you believe in the separation of Church and State? Do you reject Sharia Law in favor of the secular law of the United States?
6. If you truly want to become part of our culture, why do you continue to wear the hijab – which – in this culture – is not required to maintain modesty and instead serves to widen the gap between the Muslim and the non-Muslim.

These are all very good; I’ll remember these.

Righto, time to bring out another Hugh Fitzgerald Classic for any jihadwatchers in Worcester or roundabouts who may want to go along and, ever so gently, upset the dawa cart.

Excerpt:
“….Ask about the relevance of what Muhammad did and said for today’s Muslims. Ask why he is called in the Qur’an “uswa hasana” and in Islamic tradition “al-insan al-kamil”? If told such things as Muhammad’s marriage to Aisha must be “put in the context of their times,” don’t forget to ask why virtually the first act of Khomeini in Iran was to lower the marriageable age of girls to nine.
“Oh, and ask about the concept of the “Dhimmi.” Ask what was required of Christians and Jews as non-Muslims under Muslim rule. What did they have to do, in order to remain alive, as “Protected People,” rather than dead, as Unprotected People, or to prevent their being forcibly converted — as opposed to the slow conversion, over time, which was usually the only way open to them to escape the onerous, sometimes unendurable situation of being a dhimmi.
“And afterwards, when the talk and question time have come to an end, and when other Infidels come up to you, quietly, to thank you for speaking up and speaking out, and expressing their own inarticulate unease, tell them a few of the books you have read. Tell them about Bat Ye’or, Ibn Warraq, Spencer and Bostom. Tell them of this and other websites (www.faithfreedom.org, http://www.dhimmitude.org, http://www.answering-islam.org, for a start).
“Agree to take their names and phone numbers or emails, and to send them a further list so that they, too, will not merely rely on the nonsense and lies fed to them by the soft-voiced propagandists…”.
And another – very funny – article about what transpired when a few well-informed Infidels knew exactly what kinds of questions to ask.

Treat it as a recce expedition inside an enemy’s military base/ fort. This is your opportunity to get inside – however briefly – what an ex-Muslim has called “The Forbidden Fortress”.

An Apostate Explains Why A Mosque Is Not Only A “House of Worship
When you do go, take careful notice of how big the mosque is, how many people are there, what they are wearing, how many bearded men, any face-covered women (probably not many if it’s a dawa / softening-up effort). Be innocently-curious and sk the Muslims what countries they or their parents are from. Make mental notes. Every bit of information helps build up a picture. Are there converts, and of what sort…? – If there are, talk to them and ask them when, where and why they converted (prison dawa? college dawa? marriage jihad?) and **who witnessed their shahada**. Get the name of the mosque connected with their conversion and the names, if possible, of the Muslim who dawa-ised them. If any of them are subsequently caught hatching jihad plots, your information may be crucial.
*Think* carefully – and with a military-type mindset – about the exact physical location of the mosque. Does it feel like a fort? Look like a fort? Anything *odd* about its location and layout? Its size relative to surrounding non-Muslim buildings. Is there a church nearby or other significant non-Muslim building/ institution such as a school?
Here’s an excellent little article by an Israeli geographer that gives some interesting examples of the ways in which mosques are often sited aggressively vis-a-vis Infidel institutions and places of worship.

More than a coincidence: Minarets, geography and power
By SETH J. FRANTZMAN
“…A survey of historical placement of mosques in important cities and newly conquered Muslim lands, as well as a survey of the placement of mosques in diverse neighborhoods, shows that their placement is anything but random and that strikingly often they are built next to the houses of prayer or the neighborhoods of non-Muslims…
“…The building of mosques is not always an expression of power, but historically and today in mixed communities mosques are constructed with a view toward the non-Muslim other.”
More on the aggressive political aspects of the mosque. From the jihadwatch archives, an astute Indian-American, Vijay Kumar.
http://www.jihadwatch.org/2010/07/vijay-kumar-the-muslim-mosque-a-state-within-a-state.html
Vijay Kumar: The Muslim mosque: A state within a state
“…A mosque in the United States is a command and control center of a foreign political and military state that seeks the overthrow of our government, and an Imam in a mosque is a political and military representative of a foreign state that calls for the overthrow of the United States.”
If, O American jihadwatcher posting or lurking here, you are in a position to mosey along to that slily deceiving PR-and-dawa evening at the Islamic Centre of Worcester, bear all the above grimly in mind. Above all, remind yourself over and over that they will be pouring on the charm; they mean to disarm, bamboozle, confuse, misdirect, and seduce. It will be difficult to keep your mental distance; but you must. If you intend to ask questions, don’t try to ask too many. I would suggest focusing in on the apostasy law – ask the muslims what they would do if someone at the mosque, a member of their family or social circle, publicly declared themselves to be an apostate – whether atheist, Buddhist, or Christian. Ask about the apostasy law and quote the Bukhari Hadith “If anyone changes his religion, kill him”. Do they or do they not accept this rule? Make sure any other infidel visitors can hear the information you give. The apostasy law is a deal-breaker for westerners; and it immediately suggests parallels with groups like the Mafia. Secondly, bring up the blasphemy law. Ask the muslims if they support the first amendment – freedom of speech. Remind everyone of the attack on the Mohammed cartoons exhibition in Garland, Texas; remind everyone of the Muslim mass-murder of cartoonists in Paris, France, just this year; remind everyone of the Muslim murder of Theo Van Gogh in the Netherlands, and the ‘Cartoon Rage’ about Danish cartoons, and the still-active fatwa against Salman Rushdie. Tell the story of Asia Bibi in Pakistan, who is on death row because a bunch of ordinary Muslim women strikingly accused her of ‘blasphemy!’ And make sure you have on your person, handily printed out, the portions of the Islamic texts that tell the stories of Kab bin Ashraf, Abu Afak and Asma Bint Marwan – non-Muslim critics of Islam who were assassinated on Mohammed’s orders – and quote them. Your aim is to get other non-Muslims present to realize that Muslim attacks on freedom of speech and freedom of expression are part of the *core program* of Islam. It’s not about extremists. It’s about Islam as such.
Have fun and watch your backs. (If possible, go in a group of five or more; and if you can somehow record all proceedings without being detected – concealed video-audio device – do so).

To all viewers who have commented on this article: It won’t matter one bit what you think and say, unless you make sure to cast your vote on Election Day. In fact, you need to start participating in all elections from the smallest (such as school boards etc) to the biggest (the US Presidential Election). Also, all non-muslim immigrants also need to start making their voices heard against the invasion of the US by Islam.
Happy New Year!!

The question I would ask her is, what would happen if a Christian did the same thing in an Islamic country? She is quite brave but she knows the vast majority of Westerners will not harm a Muslim woman, but what would befall a Christian woman who tried to make nice with Muslims

Look at how non-Muslims are treated in Muslim majority countries to see what she really thinks of us infidels and disbelievers in Allah and Mohammed.
Hank Kemp says
If Muslims living in the United States, or are citizens of the United States, They should welcome Trump’s position to temporarily stop the influx of Muslim refugees, until measures can be installed and all who do wish to enter can properly be vetted. If they would speak up and make this known, it would almost instantly take away the suspicion that they would be part of this destructive force destroying this country from within. Muslims have lived in this country for hundreds of years without any problems, that is prior to 9/11. Remaining silent only increases the resistance objecting to additional Muslims to enter this country, especially as any assurance by the White House can not be believed because of past dishonesty and lies told to the American people by it’s own president. If we believe what comes out of the White House, we indeed would be fools. I firmly believe that the solid majority amongst the Muslim population are true patriotic Americans but remember, it takes only one match to start a forest fire. The behavior displayed in Europe by some of these refugees, including their so called religious leaders justifies the total closing of our borders and other ports of entry.
We are at war with a bunch of savages who are advocating doing away with our Constitution and then installing their Sharia law. That we can never allow from happening.

Question someone should have asked hubby, specifically – did he convert in order to marry Miss Muslimah? Or did they meet after his conversion.
Because this question exposes Islamic non-reciprocity, to wit, that Muslim males can marry non-Muslim females who remain non-Muslim (though all offspring are automatically counted as Muslims and are not given *any* choice in the matter; if they declare themselves NOT Muslim, they are liable to be killed as apostates, hence what Sudan tried to do to Mrs Daniel Wani nee Meriam Ibrahim…remember that very famous case?), BUT Muslim females are only allowed to marry Muslims and therefore any non-Muslim male who falls in love with a Muslimah MUST convert to Islam in order to have any prospect of marrying the girl.

There will be more of this; the US Council of Muslim Organizations has announced a program of outreach and education for 2016 to fight “Islamophobia” and “enhance national security”.
I think this is the key idea from Hugh Fitzgeralds’s article above: “Yet in Mona Haydar’s worldview, it is the non-Muslims whose attitudes and behavior are on trial.”
This is the perfect summary, and important to remember as we are continually asked/told to change our thinking about what we can clearly see.

Media and politicians (all of them, not only the crazy left-wingers) play the game of pretending that refugees from the Islamic world are all good people who have no connection to terrorism and that they are merely victims. Our leaders and media refuse to listen to those who tell them that the refugees they are picking for special treatment to come to Canada and the USA at great expense are mainly the majority Muslims who are the oppressors, torturers and killers of the minorities (including their own Muslim minorities). The press also plays the game of pretending that ISIS is somehow different from Hezbollah or Hamas just to keep the genocidal sub-humans happy and to make Israel the perpetual target as the leftists and the American Islamists give their terrorist buddies endless excuses to terrorize and reasons why we must allow Islamists – without questions – to North America to continue their Hijrah, or jihad by emigration. It seems that we are being called “Islamophobes” if we are concerned for our own people and families in the West but what name best describes the sub-humans who will sacrifice our lives to Islamize the world?

Isn’t it normal to be suspicious of Muslims? You never know when one of them will decide to express Islam through Jihad. The majority of Muslims choose to take their chances with Allah rather than ensure their entry into heaven by committing Jihad. This isn’t very reassuring and in fact, points directly to the problem in Islam. The problem is that a Muslim can express Islam either through peace and charity or Jihad and both are valid expressions of Islam. This is why Muslims are not really outraged over Jihad attacks. It’s just another valid way of expressing Islam that most Muslims are not willing to do. This leaves Islam with a major problem. We don’t trust Muslims because we can’t and this type of outreach attempt to deflect and disguise the real internal problem in Islam. Peace and war are both valid expressions of Islam.
