Clearly Indonesian authorities are expecting jihad terror attacks at churches this Christmas.
“Indonesian police foil ‘jihad’ attacks, arrest six suspects: Reports,” Reuters, December 20, 2015:
Counter-terrorism police have arrested six people suspected of planning attacks in Indonesia, seizing bomb-making materials and ‘jihad manuals’ from the men they said included Islamic State members and supporters, the Jakarta Globe reported on Sunday.
“Six individuals rounded up in a series of counter-terrorism raids that began on Friday and ran into late Saturday reportedly planned to bomb Shiite communities in Java and Sumatra,” the daily said on its website.
It cited National Police Chief General Badrodin Haiti as saying that raids to round-up the suspects were prompted by intelligence from the US Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Australian Federal Police.
“This terrorist network was preparing for bombing attacks in various locations in Indonesia,” Badrodin said, referring to one of the acronyms of the Sunni militant group Islamic State. “Some are ISIS members and others are sympathisers.”
Badrodin said the counter-terrorism operation was still ongoing. “That’s why we’re calling on the public to be vigilant and report anything suspicious,” he said.
Indonesia will deploy more than 150,000 security personnel and several religious organisations to safeguard churches and public places around the country during Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations, the country’s military chief said on Friday….

I have a terrible feeling that the absconders who disappeared from German reception centers are going to appear on Christmas day all over Germany, or Europe, firing AK 47s. It’ll be a ramped up Mumbai massacre, if it happens.
I hope I’m wrong!

“150,000 security personnel”
See? And people say that Islam doesn’t create employment! Islam creates all kinds of jobs. Everything from security personnel to sharia law police. This is more evidence as to why the “refugees” and all the jihadis in their midst are just good business! Just like “climate change”! Islamic refugees and fighting climate change are the two economic engines running the glorious future that awaits us if we just open our eyes!

One again church’s are in danger of being destroyed because of the violent mindset of so many angry Muslims. The question may be asked just “Why are so many Muslims so hateful towards Christianity ?” One reason for this is that the Muslim clerics, such as the imams, keep filling the hearts and minds of the people in the mosques with hate for Christians and Christian doctrines .The Muslim clerics do this by always speaking many terrible and awful falsehoods and untruths about Christians and Christian teachings to people in the mosques and thus get them all worked up against Christians and Christian places of worship. So worked up that many of those people become enraged at Christians and what they perceive as Christian “worship service.” Thus the violence. The Bible explains about such false teachers as those Muslim clerics who keep speaking evil and false thing about Christians and Christian doctrines. For the Bible in Second Peter 2:12. informs the reader that “they speak of things they do not understand and will utterly perish in their corruption.” [ N.K.J.V.]
Furthermore it should be added that in this Bible context, as well as in John 3:16., the word “perish” does not mean loss of being but loss of well being. As in going to ruin. That is complete ruin by ending suffering forever in an awful and terrible place that the Bible calls “The Lake of Fire.”

@Walter..the clerics just follow koran and mohammad and I believe most people don’t understand koran, just just let those clerics to interpret for them, and they just learn to recite but not to learn to understand. koran is the antithesis of Christian’s Bible and Doctrine and people are just blind to the facts.
Funny thing that I notice to beat an argument with muslim you just have to refer to koran, like the case with David Wood. Funny yet terrifying.

The Indonesian Army was in the past the only reliable guarantor of security for religious minorities living in remote regions of the archipelago. It looks as though the coming of a democratic political structure has benefited the majority, but unfortunately has resulted in life becoming more vulnerable for religious minorities, who are increasingly at the mercy of local religious rivalry. It is unclear whether the ‘security personnel’ to be deployed are predominantly military, but if this is the case then they are more likely to be reliable, than a newly mustered security force comprising civilians.

Yes, but have they vetted them for terrorist links?

The Indonesian have been deploying security personnel at churches since Christmas Eve, 2000, a series of explosions took place in Indonesia, which were part of a high-scale terrorist attack by Al Qaeda and Jemaah Islamiyah.[1] The attack involved a series of coordinated bombings of churches in Jakarta and eight other cities which killed 18 people and injured many others.
Not only that but muslims militia from The Ansor Youth Movement (GP Ansor), a youth wing of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) have joined the police to protect the churches
Spencer on many occasions has sarcastically called Indonesia moderate, but he does not report instances such as as many as 2.6 million out of the organization’s 7 million members had been prepared for the deployment in 2011
Baucent says
The News reports on this avoid saying it, but it is likely that churches on Christmas day were a major target. Indonesia is an Muslim majority country where Christmas day is also a public holiday. And this year it falls on a Friday so rabid Islamists will pour out of mosques on Friday looking for trouble.
