Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Robert Spencer in PJ Media: “I’m a Christian and I LOVE the Qur’an”

Dec 18, 2015 1:54 pm By Robert Spencer

In PJ Media today I explore the woolly thinking of a modern multiculturalist and Islamophobophobe:

I'm Christian and I Love the Quran74

The above photo was apparently taken at a recent demonstration in Washington, D.C.

The young lady holding the sign is Jordan Denari, and she works at the anti-“Islamophobia” Bridge Initiative, which is housed at Georgetown University’s Saudi-funded Alwaleed bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding.

“I’m a Christian and I Love Muslims”? Absolutely. However, love for Muslims represents a far different sentiment than love for the Qur’an.

Denari presumably believes that Jesus is the Son of God, the Second Person of the Trinity, who was crucified and rose from the dead for the salvation of the human race. Yet she is professing love for a book that not only denies all of that, but also insists that Christians are accursed, vile beings who should be waged war against until they submit to the hegemony of a group that believes differently. One wonders if Ms. Denari’s attempt at Muslim-Christian understanding includes a comprehensive understanding of the below verses from the book she professes to love:

— Jesus is not the Son of God, belief in the Trinity is “excess”: “O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, ‘Three’; desist — it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.” — Qur’an 4:171“It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, ‘Be,’ and it is.” — Qur’an 19:35

— Jesus was not crucified: “And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah’s messenger — they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain.” — Qur’an 4:157

— Those who believe in the divinity of Christ are “disbelievers”: “They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is Christ, the son of Mary.” — Qur’an 5:17

— Christians “forgot a good part” of the divine revelations they received: “From those, too, who call themselves Christians, We did take a covenant, but they forgot a good part of the message that was sent them: so we estranged them, with enmity and hatred between the one and the other, to the day of judgment. And soon will Allah show them what it is they have done.” — Qur’an 5:14

— Those who believe that Jesus is God’s Son are accursed: “The Jews call ‘Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah’s curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth! ” — Qur’an 9:30

— Christians who do not become Muslims “are the most vile of created beings”: “Nor did those who were given the Scripture become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence. And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakah. And that is the correct religion. Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the most vile of created beings.” — Qur’an 98:6

— Muslims must fight against and subjugate Christians: “Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.” — Qur’an 9:29

Although few Christians would dare say so publicly nowadays, to be a Christian at all assumes a denial that Muhammad is a prophet and the Qur’an a holy book, for they both affirm as matters of faith beliefs that Christians do not hold, and — as per the above passages — deny many that Christians do hold.

Perhaps Ms. Denari considers herself a Christian in the spirit of the below Qur’an passage?

“Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans — those who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness — will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.” — Qur’an 2:62

This passage appears at first glance to be a marvelously forward-thinking example of ecumenism. Qur’an commentator Muhammad Asad exults:

With a breadth of vision unparalleled in any other religious faith, the idea of ‘salvation’ is here made conditional upon three elements only: belief in God, belief in the Day of Judgment, and righteous action in life.

But Asad contradicts himself by adding “in this divine writ” after the words “those who have attained to faith” in his translation of Verse 62. That is, to be saved one must believe in the Qur’an as well as the earlier revelations. Indeed, Muslim commentators are not actually inclined to see this as an indication of divine pluralism, but only as an affirmation that those Christians who become Muslims will be saved. The translators Abdullah Yusuf Ali and Mohammed Marmaduke Pickthall, as well as Asad, all feel it necessary to add parenthetical glosses that make the passage mean that Jews and Christians (as well as Sabeans, whose identity is disputed) will enter Paradise only if they become Muslims.

Qur’an.com adds “before Prophet Muhammad” in brackets after “Jews or Christians or Sabeans,” making it clear that those three could only be saved this way before the advent of Islam. Now, they must convert to Islam to get to Paradise. Further, according to Ibn Abbas, this verse was abrogated by Qur’an 3:85:

And whoever desires other than Islam as religion — never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.

Sayyid Qutb opines that 2:62 applied only before Muhammad brought Islam to the world, a view supported by a saying of Muhammad recorded by Tabari, in which the Prophet of Islam says that Christians who died before his coming will be saved, but those who have heard of him and yet rejected his prophetic claim will not be….

Leave this girl alone for God’s sake because this kind of belief is held by the overwhelming majority of Christians and non-Christians in today’s Western society including Americans. You can’t say freely “Merry Christmas” in the Western world today. People and governments in the West disrespect Christ and his followers but have deep respect for muslims and for LGBT members.

You better direct your anger and frustration at the society that shaped and indoctrinated this young girl who is simply a pure by product of her social environment. The whole American and Western societies were being indoctrinated to belief such filth for the past number of decades and it should not outrage us when we see young people express these beliefs. The society is the problem. The people who are driving today’s Western civilization are the real traitors and we need to direct our anger at the root of the problem which is them.

And I’m well beyond being outraged. Would your comments be just as sympathetic If she happened to be a not so good looking 280 pound dark skinned man with a scruffy beard?

She’s part of the problem. She should be a target of hostile criticism. She puts me and the lives of my family at further risk with her ignorant leftist stupidity. She’s a legitimate target. She’s the enemy. She’s a pig.

Why don’t YOU shut down whatever YOU think the problem is. Stop telling everybody else what they should do………..Clear?

Guess what CB, I traveled to visit family on Thanksgiving and prepared to warn relatives about the Muslim Brotherhood in America, the Liberty versus Sharia document and why obama’s traitorous migrant settlement was going to be detrimental. I was fully prepared to leave my sister’s home that evening with many relatives pissed off at me for stressing a distressful topic. But I knew I had to try. Well, things worked out very well because I ended up debating a nephew who is very smart. He took a leftist view. He did this not so much that he actually believe the leftist mantra but he did it to hone his skills, to in his mind, take a different view. I was on top of my game and it was a good thing because he was very good. I the end I convinced him and two other nephews in THEIR MID 20s that I had very good argument and made good on ALL of MY points.

By the way, that young “girl” you keep defending, go look at this video:

check out her speech at around the 40:00 mark. She’s a self absorbed ignorant leftist punk. If you defend her after watching that video then I’ll start questioning your motives.

So what have you done to lately besides telling everyone else what they should be doing?

To Christianblood – Do you have some factual data to back-up your statement “this kind of belief is held by the overwhelming majority of Christians and non-Christians in today’s Western society including Americans” ? Have you looked at the Quran verses that the author of this article pointed out to us? The reason I ask is because your statements don’t answer the (implied) question: How can Jordan Denari be a Christian and love the Quaran in light of what the Quaran’s stand on Christianity is? Even what the Quaran say’s about anyone other that a muslim is against what Christians believe. I think the political correctness you talk about has even affected you “leave the poor girl alone” by not wanting to “offend”.
And Jordan Denari,? Not only is she most likely not a Christian , but she does not even know what Christianity is.

To Dr. Divinity – Jesus is not slapped in the face. Nothing occurs to God. God knew and knows everything that did and will happen long before it happened. God may be silent in your life but He is alive and well in millions of Christians who are living for Him and praising His Name. Maybe you should do the same and he will be silent no more. The bible says “Come near to God and he will come near to you. ” James 4:8 Key here is: You make the first move. Also, our enemies are not flesh and blood- “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Eph 5:12 God destroyed every Christian’s enemy at the cross.

Hundreds of millions of young people are being indoctrinated with lies such as islamic terrorism is caused by poverty, islam is the religion of peace, and jihad is an spiritual struggle etc, etc. That is my point. On the other hand, I Don’t know what factual data that you want me to provide you, are you denying the fact majority of Americans and other Westerners falsely belief islam is the religion of peace, that islamic terrorism is caused by poverty and that most Western politicians, MSM and Academia cannot even name the enemy as an islamic jihadism fueled solely by the religion of islam and its sharee’a laws?

Poor Jordan Denari – sooooooooo confused….

On her website (jordandenari.com), she posts and references her articles:

“Make Jesus and Muhammad Proud” ( how’s that – by marrying a 6 year old girl?)

“Why American Colleges Need The Islamic Call to Prayer”

    and

“Five Things To Do When an Anti-Muslim Hate Rally Comes to Town”

Ms. Denari attended a Jesuit Prep school, graduated from Georgetown in 2013 and was a Fulbright Student in Jordan.

Did she study what the Quran really says while over there, or perhaps any relation between sacred texts and today’s killers? No, she wrote about Christian TV stations and later reported about them being too “aggressive” trying to convert Muslims.

In 2011, Ms. Denari wrote (http://jordandenari.com/2011/07/01/sharia-a-fabricated-threat/) an article entitled “Sharia: a Fabricated Threat” where she said: “… Scapegoating Islam and Muslims has become politically and financially rewarding, and people like Newt Gingrich, Pamela Geller, Rep. Allen West, and Brigitte Gabriel have realized that.” She adds these people play on “American’s ignorance of the Koran.”

She adds in the above-mentioned article “Islamophobic politicians and pundits often claim they have “no problem” with peaceful, practicing Muslims; they simply have a problem with sharia. But, as I’ve discussed here, Muslims can’t be Muslim without sharia—without greeting one another with a friendly “Assalaamu alaikum,” without performing ablutions, and without giving charity.

Preventing our Muslim friends and neighbors from doing these things just seems senseless.”

Her work has appeared in TIME, Huffington Post, America, National Catholic Reporter, Commonweal, On Faith (formerly a blog of the Washington Post), and numerous Catholic outlets, including U.S. Catholic, American Catholic Radio, and the Catholic Herald.

Her parents must be so proud.

This picture of this poor confused girls hold that strange sign was posted and this article was ,somewhat, covered before .Thus this it a very appropriate time to reiterate that a real Christian knowing the teachings of the Bible and also knowing the actual teachings of Islam would never hold up such and a sign with such foolish words written on it. For it need to be made clear that the Bible teaches in Isaiah 8:20. “To the law of the testimony: if they speak not according to the word ,it is because it there is no light in them.” In other words, if a religious book or religion had doctrines and teachings that are in contradiction the Word of God.,the Bible, then that religious book along with the religion it supports is in error and darkness and is a false way that only lead to disaster. The Koran is the very foundation of Islam and Islam is a religion of denial. First ,Islam denies the Jesus is the Sod of God. Being the Son of God. Who is God the Father. Second, Islam denies the Jesus is God the Son. Third, Islam denies that Jesus is God. So in the light and information of the Bible it should be stated the the Bible does strongly teach that Jesus is,indeed, the Son of God. As clearly shown in Matthew 3:16,17. 16:15,16. Luke 1:35. John 3:16,17,36. First John 2;22,23. 4:14,15 ,5:12,13 Furthermore, Islam’s denies that Jesus is God the Son. This denial of Islam is in contrast to the Bible which teaches that Jesus is God the Son. As seen in Hebrews 1:6-8. With emphasis on verse 8. Moreover , Islam denial that Jesus is God in in total contradiction to the doctrine of the Bible. Which strongly teaches that Jesus is God. As revealed in John 1:1-3. Romans 9:5. Colossians 1_15-17 Second Peter 1:1. Titus 2:13. First John 5:20. In addition all a person needs to do is further find out that Jesus ids God is to compare the Old Testament withe New Testament to see that Jesus is God. As in comparing Isaiah 45:22,23. with Philippians 2:5-11. show the Deity of Jesus. Likewise in comparing Psalm 89:8,9. with Matthew 8:23-27. As in comparing Psalm 62:5-7 with First Corinthians 10:4. show Jesus to be God. .Even by comparing the New testament book together show Jesus to be God. As in comparing John 5:22 with Romans 14;12. further shows Jesus to be God. The list can go on but this should be enough for any person who is will to see, that Jesus is God. Those who who refuse to see this are the ones the Bible calls “willfully ignorant.” The imams ,mullahs as well as the other apologists for Islam will try to “explain” this all away by making the claim that the Bible had been corrupted, through time,by Christians and that’s why the Bible reads as it does. This claim they make ,very much, underestimate the Power of God to protect and preserve His Word through time and thus keep in intact and away from the corruption of men. In conclusion in the light of the Bible ,Islam is in great and terrible doctrinal error and darkness about the Nature of Jesus and is therefore a false religion, Proverbs 14;12. John 14;6. and the poor confused girl in the above picture had been lead astray .For a real Christian would not behave as she does, Ephesians 5:11.

How can a Christian endorse the Koran? For instance: “Koran 48.29 “Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; Those with him are VIOLENT (ashiddaa’) against the disbelievers (kufaar); Compassionate amongst themselves.”

The Koran preaches violence against the ‘other’ because they do not believe Islam is true. That’s bigotry.

Most Americans think it is just another religion, preaching love and peace. George Bush’s constant mantra, “Islam is a religion of peace,” made me nauseated toward the end of his tenure. However, a non-dhimmi, non-servile look at the Koran reveals it is: a troop motivator, a plagiarized text that is self-referentially incoherent, ungrammatical, illogical and unhistorical, incomprehensible in the original text, a racist manifesto of hatred towards non-Arabs, a solicitation of murder, an anti-Semitic hate text, an anti-Christian death warrant, an extortionist’s manual, a justification for pedophilia, polygamy and violence against women. That is the short list of things wrong with the Koran.

I wonder how much the Arabs are paying Jordan Denari not to notice the evil in Islam.

I hate to say this, because I’m pointing three fingers back at myself, but if Muhammad thought that the majority of inhabitants of Hell are women, Uncle Kepha thinks they’ll be us baby boomers–we have left behind such an utterly corrupt ejjikashunal (I won’t dignify it by spelling the word correctly) system that not even students at a prestigious university can tell the difference between the Bible and Christian doctrine on one hand and the Qur’an on the other!

Sure, I’m not going to burn the QUr’an. I value historical witness and record way too much. But I don’t love it in the least. I’ve just finished my reading of Revelation for the year, and cannot help but shudder for those who use that book of GASS–Great Arabian Seventh-century Swindle–for the Risen Jesus declares that anyone who adds to the Bible will see the plagues described therein added to him; and any who takes away from it will see his portion in the book of life and holy city taken away. But I don’t think she’s a dhimmi. I thank she’s a secret Muslim. Here’s a quotation about Muslims under Christian rule from “Muslims of Medieval Latin Christendom, c.1050–1614” (don’t know enough to recommend the whole book or not):
“Muslims continued to construct mosques, worship publicly, openly practice forbidden professions, including medicine, dress and pose as Christians, and travel with or without permission”

And its still true today: http://www.aina.org/news/20070912103931.htm
[quote]For instance, in South America, Islamists have met inside Catholic churches to avoid raising a red flag. They have worn crucifixes, taken on Christian names, attended Christian services, stolen dead Christians’ birth certificates, stolen the identity of a dead Catholic priest, and sought asylum under the pretext of being a persecuted Christian. By attempting to blend in using the cover of a different religion, the terrorists believe that scrutiny will be minimized. Thus one must be careful in using appearances to profile. Think of an Islamic terrorist wearing a crucifix and carrying a Bible in order to elude detection at airport or other security check points. They have shown that they will go to any lengths to commit their atrocities. Taking on a Christian identity is just one of many tactics they are currently using. I also found terrorists using the identity of different nationalities when I conducted a study of illegal immigrant sex offenders. One glaring security problem was Puerto Rico. With birthright citizenship, Puerto Ricans can come to the mainland any time they want. Fraudulent documents are a huge industry there as illegals and terror operatives look to enter the island illegally, obtain fake paperwork, and then simply come to the mainland.[quote/]

And we now have reports of the new ‘refugees” “converting” to Christianity to enhance their chances of gaining legal asylum.
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3225014/How-Muslim-migrants-converting-Christianity-Germany-hundreds-boost-chances-winning-asylum.html
Undoubtedly, their are some genuine conversions. But their is still the suspicious past history that needs to be kept in mind. This has always been a problem with Christian missions to Muslim lands.

But the girl saying she loves the Quran, and the supposedly Christian hijab-wearing supporters of the professor (http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-wheaton-college-hijab-larycia-hawkins-students-travel-20151218-story.html) make me wonder just how well “the faith which was once delivered unto the saints” (Jude 1:3) is being transmitted to the next generation.

There’s a lot of historical background to some of these verses as well as misinterpretations.

To start off with, Christians interpreting Christ as the physical Son of God is wrong as in the Bible it is mentioned that ‘ we are all given power to become sons of God’ inferring that the title Son of God is a ‘station’ or rank not an actual physical thing.

Next there is only one God and most denominations of Christianity accept that and do not exalt Christ to God. However some sects do equate Him with God as Christ said ‘My Father and I are one’ yet in another passage ‘My Father is greater than I’ and ‘Why thou callest me good there is none good but one that is God. You’ll have to find the verses this is by heart.

The inference Christ only ‘appeared’ to be crucified means that outwardly He WAS crucified but Christ’s body only. This sura is clearly stating that it appeared that they had crucified Him but you cannot crucify truth.

Christianity, once the glory of mankind, once they had rejected Muhammad Who was prophesied in various verses of the Bible referring to Mount Paran in Arabia where the ‘Lod would arise’ ended up disunited as they could not agree on many things the Quran had cleared up such as the trinity and whether Christ was God or His physical son. Without the Quran’s enlightenment Christianity fell into darkness and superstition and fragmented into over 2,000 sects each claiming to be the sole custodian of the truth.

Muhammad protected Christians but not Jews and Christians Who secretly helped His enemies and acted treacherously towards Muslims resulting in the killing of innocent Muslims.

People who hate Islam don’t want to know the truth. They have this entrenchment of views which closes their minds to the possibility they may be wrong and believe their views and interpretations of the Quran to be infallible and beyond question.

If you search for them you can find equally impressive arguments showing the Quran and Muhammad came for peace.

However, what is stated here is only individual interpretation not authoritative infallible truth so it is prone to err.

It is a major error of misjudgement to misjudge a Prophet of God and a Holy Book, the Word of God and condemn it relying totally on fallible human logic. It was human logic which proved the world was flat which we now know is ridiculous but people believed it passionately.

Muhammad only ever told His followers to attack those who continually attacked Muslims or betrayed their pacts and supported the enemy. Muhammad never told His followers to go out and mass murder people for fun or dominance.

That is a concoction of Hadiths which are not the Word of God and many of those came from enemies who wanted to defame Muhammad.

It’s easy to grab a sura here and a sura there and add no historical or spiritual explanation just a literal dumbed down view to try and discredit Muhammad but amongst the knowledgeable this is misleading because it lacks due process.

Everyone should know Muhammad appeared amongst barbaric tribes who roamed and killed, raped and plundered and adopted slaves. Muhammad opposed slavery, rape, the killing of innocents and went to war for freedom to worship one God.

There are violent verses in the bible far worse than the Quran but the thing is if you want to see the Bible as evil then all you will see is that and the same with the Quran.

I’ve studied all the Holy Books including the Quran for 40 years so I am looking at the historical and spiritual context of the Quran’s passages as well as definitions of words as understood in that time.

Anyone can take a sura out of context especially historical and go to town on it and simpletons with an equal hate of Islam will drink it down like grog but it’s poison and only one person’s view and not infallible or authoritative.

There is no truth whatsoever in the assertions that the Quran is evil. It’s just an opinion, a fallible view supported by out of context definitions, historical and spiritual.

Let’s take one word misused. Unbelievers. Unbeliever then doesn’t mean blue collar aetheist office workers. It meant ruthless barbarians, serial rapists, mass murderers and oppressors. Muhammad was referring to evil doers not good innocent people. That’s why the discrepancy of no compulsion in religion and yet to be harsh on the ‘unbelievers’ (rapists, oppressors, slave traders etc) We cannot simply apply today’s definition on a time 1,300 years ago. That is unfair and unjust.

Infidel also means barbarian in the dictionary. Muhammad only advocated self defence sura 2:190 but always haters of Islam will quote 2:191 trying to twist what Muhammad actually meant to an unsuspecting naive audience and show His intentions to be aggressive whereas Muhammad only allowed self defense if attacked and only after being persecuted for 13 years.

If one takes the Suras of the Quran out of historical context, spiritual context and uses today’s definition of words then of course you can cherry pick and find a lot of the things claimed here but they are doctored and fabricated to suit a particular bias and not the truth.

Terrorists are evil. But nowhere does the Quran teach terrorism anymore than the Bible does and if you read the Bible you will find it also teaches some things that people could use to commit terrorism but don’t anymore because we have gone through that stage and matured. Islam has not yet learnt how to deal with the modern age.

Although Christians are past the age of using violence in religion at one time they did.

The bible is replete with similar verses we find in the Quran yet I still believe it to be the Word of God. So do people here yet it has chilling verses like these…

Rip pregnant women open? Kill everyone men, women and children and infants? God of love?? WHY? Because they rebelled against God sound familiar???? The Quran is not saying anything the Bible doesn’t already say but it’s how you want to view it. I could view the Bible as evil too for that verse but I see it as the Word of God because we must not be narrow or closed minded.

If we don’t investigate further then we can condemn the bible too. But we pretend not to notice these verses because we are biased.

What have pregnant women and infants fine to deserve punishment? Killing non believers? Sound familiar? Yet people here accept the Bible with all its murderous verses?? But condemn the Quran for the same? Hypocrisy no?

    1 Samuel 15:2,3

2 This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘I will punish the Amalekites for what they did to Israel when they waylaid them as they came up from Egypt. Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy [a] everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.’ ”

    Hosea 13:16

16 The people of Samaria must bear their guilt,
because they have rebelled against their God.
    They will fall by the sword;
their little ones will be dashed to the ground,
    their pregnant women ripped open.”

    Kill Nonbelievers
They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB)

There is a lot you say here with which I disagree but I’ll just focus on one thing for now. You say Muhammad only went to war for freedom to worship one god? Who was stopping him from worshiping his god until he started demanding all other gods NOT be worshiped and that his god alone MUST be worshiped? Muhammad was the one who resorted to violence when people laughed at him or refused to believe what he was saying. His god could have been worshiped peacefully along with the many other gods being worshiped at the time. There were hundreds of gods at the Kaaba and people were not killing each other over which was the best one. Even today, Muslims are free to worship Muhammad’s god but, like Muhammad, they are intent on forcing everyone to believe their god is the one and only god and they become violent if their god is ridiculed or denied. It’s truly puzzling to me that Muhammad could not get his message of peace and love across to his followers.

Obviously Muhammad regarded the existence of other religions as offensive to his own creed. So from that perspective, he had to go about attacking everyone else in order to “defend” his claims to represent the only permissible religion.

Ever since then, Muslims have resorted to the fiction that attacking people in order to spread Islamic dominance is a form of “defensive” warfare, since Islam considers all non-Muslims to be at war with Islam by virtue of their refusal to “submit.”

When Muslims use certain words, they don’t mean what the rest of us understand them to mean..

To Worldcitizen1919- I want to address 2 points of your Dec. 18, 2015, 6:52 pm post. First, you state, “To start off with, Christians interpreting Christ as the physical Son of God is wrong as in the Bible it is mentioned that “We are all given power to become Sons of God.” While this is a correct quote, you are missing the central idea that Jesus (also called Emanuel and Yeshua) is the Messiah, the human sacrificial lamb that takes away the sins of mankind by dying a cruel and sadistic death on the cross, taking the place of every person who by rights, deserves this death. Jesus never hurt anybody, and he did no wrong, he was sinless. So the person of Jesus is both man (flesh) and God (Spirit). The Bible verse you quoted about each of us having the power to be Sons of God also means there are no “grandsons or grand- daughters of God.” Each of us must have a personal, spiritual relationship with God, it cannot be “inherited”. Furthermore, when Jesus appeared to his disciples after His death, they saw the wounds in His side, hands (wrists) and feet. What mortal person can you cite that has appeared on Earth after he/she died? The Quran mentions Mary’s virgin birth by quoting her: “How can I give birth to a son if no man has touched me?” She received this answer: “Just so! God creates what he wants, when he decides something, it is enough that he should say it, let it be! and it is.” I credit this Quranic verse for stating the omnipotence of God, but the fact that Jesus is not looked upon as both God and Man is telling me that Jesus was regarded as a mere mortal, a prophet, and the New Testament, as well as the Old Testament disputes that Quran disposition. To complete my thought about Jesus being both God and Man, the freely given Grace of God manifested in, by, and through His Son (who is actually God in the flesh) shows how much God loves us and desparately wants us to have a relationship with Him. He spared nothing to get us to come to Him, showing His divine nature in the person of Christ Jesus.

My second comment is about your comment: “People who hate Islam don’t want to know the truth.” I confess I hate Islam. To me, it is an ideology of evil and hatred. Sure there are many verses in the Quran about being kind, helpful, humble, doing good, etc, but there are also many verses that promote and advocate violence and disgusting barbaric savagery. There is no getting around it. So doctrinally, Islam is flawed. Devout Muslims take the violent verses with the good ones. Muslims who are not quite pious enough choose to ignore the violent verses, thank God. And all the scholars of Islam will not condemn ISIS and say that ISIS is un-Islamic, because ISIS is the most Islamic of any Muslims! If these scholars would agree to delete and wipe out the verses denoting violence and hatred, there would be hope for Islam. But I don’t see that happening.

So I leave you and other readers with this thought, from the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod– Grace Alone, Scripture Alone, Faith Alone.

What a lot of blather. The only thing that matters is how Muslims understand the Qur’an and Sunnah (yes, those hadiths are embarrassing to explain away today, but, unlike you, those pious Muslims recounted them and remembered them proudly, what’s wrong with you?). Please don’t tell us what Christians believe about Jesus Christ. You clearly have no clue. Nor was Muhammad prophesied in the Bible or any other such nonsense. You are wasting your breath.

The idea unbelievers or disbelievers mean rapists and murderers is really rich. We know what kafir means. Your scholars and manuals of shari’a tell us. You are free to correct THEM. “But they who disbelieve (wa’llazina kafaru)” “They surely disbelieve (la-gad kafar ‘llazina) who say: Lo! Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary” Disbelief, as in the Christians…

According to the Raddu ‘l-Muhtar (vol. iii, p. 442), there are five classes of kafirs or infidels:
Those who do not believe in the Great First Cause,
Those who do not believe in the Unity of God, as the Sanawiyah who believe in the two eternal principles of light and darkness,
Those who believe in the unity of God, but do not believe in a revelation,
      Those who are idolaters,
Those who believe in God and in a revelation, but do not believe in the general mission of Muhammad to the whole of mankind, as the Christians, a sect of the Jews (sic).
(Hughes’ Dictionary of Islam, p. 260)

The mullahs at Islam Q&A say “the kafir is one who denies and conceals the truth {Islam}…the Jews and Christians are both kafirs and mushrikeen (idolators). They are kafirs because they deny the truth and reject it. And they are mushrikeen because they worship someone other than Allah…’and the Jews say ‘Uzair is the son of Allah and the Christians say Messiah is the son of Allah, that is their saying with their mouth, how they are deluded away from the truth!'”

“One of the most basic principles of belief in Islam is that any Jew, Christian or other person who does not enter Islam is a kafir…and regarded as enemies of Allah, His Messenger and the believers and that they are the people of Hell.”

“One of the most basic principles of belief in Islam on which all Muslims are agreed (ijmaa) is that there is no true religion on the earth apart from Islam. It is the final religion which abrogates all religions and laws that were before it…it is obligatory to believe that the (Torah & Gospel) have been abrogated by the Qur’an, and that they have been altered and distorted with things added and taken away.”

“Islamic faith is based on the separation of of Muslim and kafir and that the kafir is an enemy of Allah forever until he embraces Islam and discarding his kufar, Allah has forbidden the believers from pleading any allegiance to the kuffar or showing them any affection even if they were there fathers, brothers, children, kinsmen or their spouses as stated in sura 58:22.”

So, the kafir is a disbeliever, and a kafir is also a Jew or Christian, and the judgment on them is solely based on what they believe regarding Allah and Muhammad and not whether they rape and murder.
The attitude a Muslim is to holdfor them is one of enmity, the al-baraa doctrine of the Qur’an.
For the crime of disbelief they are considered “waging war against Allah” and oppressing the Muslims.
Surah 9:5 and 9:29 are open ended commands on fighting and war, the last revealed according to the consensus of all Muslim scholars. Nor are they understood to be “historical” (the way every Christian understands the violent episodes in the Bible). Not when Muhammad and his successors used them as the basis for their conquests. Convert or die or, if you are lucky, be given the choice to live as subjugated peoples paying the ransom for your life, the jizya. The people given those choices, the disbelievers, they were not criminals, not rapists, not murderers, they just didn’t accept Allah and his messenger and that was their CRIME. Likewise it is nonsensical to suggest the Islamic armies left Arabia to conquer the world out of self defense! When did Persia or Iraq or the Byzantines or India or Spain ever threaten the Muslims? But then neither did the farmers at Khaybar.

9:29 “Fight {qital, kill, slaughter, massacre} those who believe not {believe not–not those who “rape and murder”} in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of truth {Islam} (even if) People of the Book (Jews or Christians) until they pay the jizya with willing submission and feel themselves subdued.”

Is this sunna or not according to you? “I descended by Allah with the sword in my hand and my wealth will come from the shadow of my sword and the one who will disagree with me will be humiliated and persecuted.” Disagree with me! Not a rapist or murderer in sight… except for Muhammad and his men.

Start at the beginning. Why would anyone listen to a man who went into a cave and came out raving that he had a chat with an angel who brought a message from an existing pagan god, Allah? That man must have been demented somehow. And how can one have respect for a man who married a child of 6 then “thigh”–according to Saudi Islamic scholars–her until age 9. The rest of that disgusting story is well known.

Muhammad murdered many people by beheading them. He murdered Kenana the husband of Safiyya then promptly “married”. So disgustingly criminal.

Muhammad embraced slavery and bought and sold slaves. He also abused them sexually. Example: Mary the Copt.

Muhammad wanted a new religion or the Arabs so instead of making one up out of new cloth he just plagiarized portions of the Torah and Bible and signed his name to it. Then he tried to persuade others to join his phony cut and paste so-called religion. Just low grade crookery here.

So when people weren’t swayed by his nonsense he resorted to violence: banditry, rapine and murder. That’s why he once boasted: “I was made victorious through terror”.

And Muhammad’s Allah is wily figure–always changing his mind just to please Muhammad. That’s what the “principle of abrogation” is all about–hence the supremacy of the Verse of the Sword, SURAH 9:5.

Agree. But Muslims live on their own planet because no evidence for the truth of Islam insists…only repetition. Islam is pure obscurantism…and they’ll kill you if you disagree.

Mohammed tricked everyone…he did not ‘protect’ Christians…he persecuted, raped, enslaved, murdered, robbed, lied to and extorted from them. Mohammed ‘protected’ others like the mob’s ‘protection racket’.

Mohammed was a racketeer, a highwayman, a slave-monger, a cheating husband, a pedophile, a plagiarist, a prevaricator, a madman, a psychopathic warmonger, an anti-Semite, an intolerant bigot, a spineless coward, and a calculating, ruthless tyrant. This portrait is certainly not the character profile of the saintly founder of a true religion, but that of an amoral cultist and scheming politician.

The Koran is a manifesto of murder, a death warrant for disbelievers, a purveyor of blood-soaked darkness, evil, sadistic savagery and twisted, muddled, pathetic psychopathy.

Islam is self-referentially incoherent in almost every particular. Mohammed is the greatest liability to Islam and the Koran is second in offensiveness as a stupid and badly written collection of craziness and sadism. The hadiths and Sira are some of the most savage writings I have ever read. No one can be a Muslim and be emotionally or psychologically well.

I beg ‘World Citizen’ to read all of Robert Spencer’s books, all of Bill Warner’s books and leave this very evil Death Cult. (‘We love death’… how repulsive.) Islam is uncivilized backwardness.

    Understanding Islam through Hadis
    Religious Faith or Fanaticism?
by Ram Swarup Exposition Press Smithtown, New York

    INTRODUCTION

Islam is not merely a theology, or a statement about Allah and his relationship with His creatures. Besides containing doctrinal and creedal material, it deals with social, penal, commercial, ritualistic, and ceremonial matters. It enters into everything, even into such private areas as one’s dress, marrying, and mating. In the language of the Muslim theologians, Islam is a complete and completed religion.

It is equally political and military. It has much to do with statecraft, and it has a very specific view of the world peopled by infidels. Since most of the world is still infidel, it is very important for those who are not Muslims to understand Islam.

The sources of Islam are two: the QurAn and the HadIs (Sayings or Traditions), usually called the Sunnah (customs), both having their center in Muhammad. The QurAn contains the Prophet’s revelations (wahy); the HadIs, all that he did or said, or enjoined, forbade or did not forbid, approved or disapproved. The word HadIs, singular in form (pl. ahAdIs), is also used collectively for all the traditions taken together, for the whole sacred tradition.

Muslim theologians make no distinction between the QurAn and the HadIs. To them both are works of revelation or inspiration. The quality and degree of the revelation in both works is the same; only the mode of expression is different. To them, the HadIs is the QurAn in action, revelation made concrete in the life of the Prophet. In the QurAn, Allah speaks through Muhammad; in the Sunnah, He acts through him. Thus Muhammad’s life is a visible expression of Allah’s utterances in the QurAn. God provides the divine principle, Muhammad the living pattern. No wonder, then, that Muslim theologians regard the QurAn and the HadIs as being supplementary or even interchangeable. To them, the HadIs is wahy ghair matlU (unread revelation, that is, not read from the Heavenly Book like the QurAn but inspired all the same); and the QurAn is hadIs mutwAtir, that is, the Tradition considered authentic and genuine by all Muslims from the beginning.

‘World Citizen’ cannot drop the hadiths (the Sunna), because he becomes a heretic and kafir who should be executed.

The Koran is just as violent as the hadiths, however, so dropping the hadiths does not change the level of violence in Islam.

‘World Citizen’ is caught in the lobster trap of Islam. Islam covers every angle of intellectual honesty with blockages and traps that all TERMINATE in an execution. What a vile Death Cult.

I won’t burn the Qur’an, for I honor the historical record far too much. But I will never love its blasphemous teaching that Jesus did not really die on the cross, when the Bible clearly teaches us he gave his life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45).

I understand that Muhammad thought that the majority of the inhabitants of Hell will be women. Uncle Kepha is sorry to report that he believes that baby boomers will be prominent there. Jordan Denari may not realize that Christianity does not allow her to serve two masters or make up her own credo to suit her. The bishops decide what is Christianity, not her.

To affirm the Koran is ipso facto to deny Christ, because the Christian religion claims to be final. Christian doctrine is sheltered under the stewardship of the bishops. The bishops are the keepers of the ‘deposit of faith once delivered to the saints’. An individual who disagrees with the bishops and the historic creeds is not a Christian. They may be a ‘New-Ager’ or a ‘universalist’, but they are not a Christian.

Two NT texts firmly reject further revelations to the message of the apostles:

“18For I testify to every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall ADD TO these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book:19And if any man shall TAKE AWAY from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” Rev.22.18-19

“… But though we, or an ANGEL from heaven, should preach unto you ANY GOSPEL OTHER
than that which we preached unto you, let him be ANATHEMA.” Gal.1.8

Mohammed clearly denied doctrines of Christianity and added doctrines not in the NT or OT. Mohammed thereby removed himself from Christianity by preaching ‘another gospel’ and another Jesus, radically different from the version of Jesus found in the NT. Mohammed is officially considered a heretic and a false prophet by Christian bishops, the arbiters of Christianity.

Jordan Denari wants to have her cake and eat it too. No way. She’s left the Church by endorsing Mohammed and his false prophecy. She’s anathematized herself, but can undo that by rejecting Mohammed and his heretical false prophecy in the Koran allegedly from an ‘angel’. Interesting that the NT specifically mentioned that even a message from ‘an angel from heaven’ might be false!

“Muhammad opposed slavery, rape, the killing of innocents and went to war for freedom to worship one God.”

Taqiyya by the flood, eh W.C.?

When Muhammad “The Model of Conduct” had Kinnana tortured and murdered and then raped his newly widowed wife, Safiya, that very night, he set the example that ISIS is following today.

When Allah proclaims, in the Quran, that “married women are forbidden to you, SAVE THOSE THAT YOUR RIGHT HAND POSSESES” Allah is sanctioning both rape and slavery.

And when Muhammad declares “I have been made victorious through terror” as stated in the Bukhari Hadith, it is plain whose direction the ISLAMIC TERROISTS of today are following.

Islam is the ONLY religion that commands its “Believers” to kill or enslave “Unbelievers.”

But you know all of this.

And we know all of this.

I’ll be charitable, Ms Denari is probably a nice person. She probably goes to one of those liberal Methodist churches, she may even pray and read the Bible. But to suggest she loves the Koran, a post New Testament religious book that denies the divinity of the Head of the Church, calls into question both her spiritual discernment and the substance of her faith. I would argue being a Christian and loving the Koran are mutually exclusive. You can’t have it both ways sister.

As the article says – ‘Perhaps Ms. Denari considers herself a Christian …’ – for there are MANY PROPHETIC WARNINGS written in “the word of the Lord” about the ‘spiritual delusions – and deceptions – and confusion’ that will occur in these ‘end times’ before the coming of “the day of Jacob’s trouble” – and ‘spiritual wickedness and darkness’ is certainly on the increase – RIGHT NOW !

It is my Biblical understanding that Ms. Denari – and many-many others are willingly deceived – for it is SPECIFICALLY WARNED in 2 Thessalonians, Chapter 2 [KJV]:
[7] FOR THE MYSTERY OF INIQUITY DOTH ALREADY WORK :
only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
[8] And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
[9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
    [10] AND WITH ALL DECEIVABLENESS OF UNRIGHTEOUSNESS IN THEM THAT PERISH;
because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
[11] AND FOR THIS CAUSE GOD SHALL SEND THEM STRONG DELUSION, THAT THEY SHOULD BELIEVE A LIE:
[12] THAT THEY ALL MIGHT BE DAMNED WHO BELIEVED NOT THE TRUTH,
    BUT HAD PLEASURE IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.

It must be remembered by all that “the Lord Jesus Christ” personally STRONGLY WARNED in Matthew, Chapter 7 [KJV]:
    [21] ¶ NOT EVERYONE THAT SAITH UNTO ME, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
[22] MANY WILL SAY TO ME IN THAT DAY,
Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?
and in thy name have cast out devils?
and in thy name done many wonderful works?
[23] And then will I profess unto them,
    I never knew you:
DEPART FROM ME, YE THAT WORK INIQUITY.

    – CAPITALization of “the word of the Lord” is mine for emphasis – Bro. Nick

      Good for you, Mike!

Most Muslims as well as this naïve young woman, do not realize that Mohammed unknowingly perhaps endorsed the Bible explicitly a number of times in the Koran…he referred to the Hebrew scriptures and NT variously as the word of God which God defends. The problem with that of course is all the contradictions between the Koran and the Bible. Because of all the unbridgeable differences, one must accept either one or the other.

While the Bible written over hundreds of years by various writers is in substantial agreement on the morality and many main themes, the Koran (supposedly issuing from one man) is substantially self-referencially incoherent. You would expect the Koran to incoherent if it were the work of a cult leader and scheming politician who frequently needed to change policies to manipulate his followers.

  43. UNCLE VLADDI says

Like Michael “We are all muslims!” Moore, the truly libtarded are down to this, now:

    A Failed Syllogism:

    1.) All people are humans!
2.) Not all humans are criminals!
3.) So not all criminals are criminals!

    WHEE!

Michael Moore just wrote a letter to DONALD TRUMP, Re: “Just as we are all Mexican, we are all Catholic and Jewish and white and black and every shade in between. We are all children of God (or nature or whatever you believe in), part of the human family, and nothing you say or do can change that fact one iota. If you don’t like living by these American rules, then you need to go to the time-out room” … “sit there, and think about what you’ve said.”

THIS is what he’s saying, in his typically backwards, tautological circular “logic” and failed syllogism. He’s also trying to conflate nationality, (Mexican) religion (Catholic) and breed (black or white) with crime-gang membership (muslim)!

He’s trying to substitute and induce a knee-jerk, emotional reaction for actual thinking in his minions.

The other criminals (“muslims”) also do this:

    Not all Germans were Nazis!
    Not all Italians are Mafiosis!
    Not all whites are Klansmen!
Not all bikers are Hell’s Angels!
    Not all Arabs are muslims!
“So” not all criminals are criminals!
“And so” not all muslims are muslims!

    WHEE!

We may indeed all be humans, but that’s just the uber-category, which does not mean the symptoms of all the lesser, sub-categories will apply equally to every member of the uber-category:

For instance: All dogs may all be dogs, but that doesn’t mean “All dogs are Chihuahuas!” Nor does it mean “All chihuahuas are doberman pincers!” etc etc etc.

So Michael Moron needs to sit down in a corner, suck on his thumb and think about what he just said.

YES, all criminals are criminals, and so all muslims are muslims, no matter that they’re also all human.
