The evidence that there is a problem with Islam is massive, and mounting daily. Will the West continue to ignore it even to the point of its own destruction?
“Woman in deadly California rampage had become more devout,” by Amanda Lee Myers and Brian Skoloff, Associated Press, December 5, 2015:
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) — A change came over Tashfeen Malik two or three years ago.
She started dressing more conservatively, wearing a scarf that covered nearly all her face, and became more fervent in her Muslim faith, according to some who knew her in Pakistan.
But her path from there to the bloody events of this past week — when she and her husband slaughtered 14 people in a commando-style shooting rampage — remains a mystery.
FBI officials, family lawyers and others said they know little about the 29-year-old housewife and mother, apart from what came to light on Friday: that Malik had pledged allegiance to the Islamic State group on Facebook as she and her American-born husband, Syed Farook, 28, went on their rampage.
The turn in the investigation raised a host of questions, among them:
— If the couple was radicalized, when, where and how did it happen? Were they influenced by Islamist material online or direct contact with extremists?
— If it happened before Malik came to the U.S., did counterterrorism authorities miss any warning signs when they investigated her before approving her visa?
— Which of them was the driving force in the attack?…
Early Saturday, authorities with guns drawn raided a home next door to the house where Farook’s family used to live in Riverside, California, breaking windows and using a cutting torch to get into the garage, neighbors said.
The FBI would not say what it was looking for, but a neighbor said an old friend of Farook’s lives there. More than three years ago, that person bought the two assault rifles later used in the shooting, but authorities haven’t been able to talk to him because he checked himself into a mental hospital after the attack, said a law enforcement official who was not allowed to discuss the investigation and spoke on condition of anonymity.
The FBI has said the man is not a suspect in shootings, though they want to question him.
U.S. officials said that Farook been in contact with extremists via social media, but one official said those contacts were not recent and did not involve any significant players on the FBI’s radar.
FBI Director James Comey said Friday there was no indication so far that the couple was part of a larger cell or was directed by a foreign terror organization.
Farook was born in Chicago to Pakistani parents and raised in Southern California. Malik arrived in the U.S. in 2014 on a Pakistani passport and a fiancee visa but had spent extended periods of time in Saudi Arabia.
She started studying pharmacy at Bahauddin Zakariya University in the Pakistani city of Multan in 2012.
A maid who worked in the Multan home where Malik lived said that Malik initially wore a scarf that covered her head but not her face. A year before she got married, she began wearing a scarf that covered all but her nose and eyes, the maid said. The maid spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of jeopardizing her employment with the family.
A relative of Malik’s in Pakistan, Hifza Batool, reported hearing similar things from other family members about Malik, her step-niece.
“I recently heard it from relatives that she has become a religious person and she often tells people to live according to the teachings of Islam,” said Batool, a teacher who lives in Karor Lal Esan, about 280 miles southwest of the Pakistani capital of Islamabad.
The Farook family attorneys, David Chesley and Mohammad Abuershaid, said none of his relatives had any indication either Farook or his wife held extremist views. The lawyers described Malik as “just a housewife” and cautioned against rushing to judgment.

No doubt that anyone who follow islam to the letter will sooner or later become a violent jihadist killer.

These Muslims seem to attach their identity to being Muslim.
If we explain to them that Muhammad was an obvious fraud, rather than being grateful for truthful information they wrongly take it as personal criticism of who they are as a person and act with displays of ungrateful behavior.

The dead eyes and inert faces of these two Allah-worshipping “persons” are now seared into the minds of every American — even the deniers, although they would never admit it.
Along with a link between the “religion of peace” and massive quantities of human blood being spattered on floors and walls in the U.S. and around the world.
At the cost of 14 lives and at least a dozen injured, plus the entire disabled community and surviving staffers in San Bernardino being forever traumatized.

And don’t forget the children of the dead. Their lives have changed direction forever, too.

good muslim family members wouldn’t be able to make such a distinction. a MUSLIM is a slave to the Allah god of islam (unknowable; the best of all deceivers). a true stave does the master’s will as exemplified by the best of all slaves – Muhammad (lately contrived; full of ineluctable lusts like any other human enslaved to sin) – a rapist, murderer, pedophile, thief, adulterer, …!

Malik — “often told people to live according to the teachings of Islam”
The Qur’an is full of hate speech against non-Muslims.
Atty. Gen. Loretta Lynch should prosecute the Qur’an and “good” Muslims who live according to the teachings of Islam.

The two journalists are baffled: “Woman ….had become more devout.”
“Her path [to slaughter] remains a mystery”.
They wonder,
“If the couple were radicalized …were they influenced by… extremists?”
This is a difficult one.
Tony Blair said, referring to “extremism”, “There is a problem within Islam”.
The UK government have obligingly set out their definition of “extremism”.
Point by point, and like a glove, it fits Islam, ordinary basic Islam (http://libertygb.org.uk/v1/index.php/news-libertygb/6183-extremism-there-is-a-problem-within-islam).
Concerning Malik, “she often tells people to live according to the teachings of Islam”. Those teachings include everything identified as “extremism”, including killing non-muslims, as in “Kill non-muslims wherever you find them”, Koran 9:5, part of Islamic law.
Can the two journalists, and as many others as possible, connect the dots?
As a muslim becomes “more devout” the more they obey the Koran.

I wrote about female jihadi’s years ago, here:

In the West, we have a tradition of not hurting women. But the rules are changed now because they changed the rules. Women are now bombers and shooters and we have to take that seriously now, not start thinking about it when we’re suddenly staring into the face of Muslimah mayhem.
We need to understand that a female terrorist of any stripe will often be more brutal than her male partners because she may be trying to prove to them how tough and devoted she is to the cause. So she may strike and shoot sooner and with greater zeal than what you expect. So, the rules about never hitting a woman need to be reconsidered under certain circumstances, eh?

I’ve read that piece by you before, Undaunted–excellent.
We have seen several times before that Jihadi Muslimahs take advantage of being female to lull their victims into a false sense of security before they strike.

Radicalized? All she would have to do is read the Koran. She and her husband were just following normal, every-day, Islam. That’s what they do. That’s who they are.
