Team led by “Middle Eastern woman” caught surveilling U.S. facility on Mexican border

Tourists, you greasy Islamophobe. Who ever heard of “Middle Eastern” people getting involved in terrorist activity?

“Team led by Middle Eastern Woman Caught Surveilling U.S. Facility on Mexican Border,” Judicial Watch, December 16, 2015:

DECEMBER 16, 2015

A Middle Eastern woman was caught surveilling a U.S. port of entry on the Mexican border holding a sketchbook with Arabic writing and drawings of the facility and its security system, federal law enforcement sources tell Judicial Watch.

The woman has been identified as 23-year-old Leila Abdelrazaq, according to a Customs and Border Patrol (CPB) report obtained by JW this week. Abdelrazaq appeared to have two accomplices, a 31-year-old man named Gabriel Schivone and a 28-year-old woman named Leslie Mcafee. CBP agents noticed the trio “observing the facilities” at the Port of Mariposa in Nogales, Arizona on December 2. Schivone was first noticed inside the entrance of the pedestrian area while the two women stood outside by the entry door, the CPB document states.

When federal officers asked Abdelrazaq why she was drawing sketches of the facilities she “stated because she’s never been to the border,” according to the CBP report. Abdelrazaq resisted showing officers the sketchbook, citing personal reasons, but subsequently handed it over. “During the inspection of the Abdelrazaq sketching book, CBPOs noticed the book contained writings in English and Arabic language,” federal officers write in the document. “There were drawings of what appeared to be vehicle primary inspection area and an additional drawing of pedestrian turn stile gate depicting video surveillance cameras above the gate.” The report proceeds to reveal that the drawings were “partial and incomplete.”

This distressing information comes on the heels of two separate—and equally alarming—incidents in the same vicinity. A few weeks ago JW reported that five young Middle Eastern men were apprehended by the U.S. Border Patrol in Amado, an Arizona town situated about 30 miles from the Mexican border. Two of the men were carrying stainless steel cylinders in backpacks, alarming Border Patrol officials enough to call the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for backup. DHS officially denies this ever occurred, but law enforcement and other sources have confirmed to JW that the two men carrying the cylinders were believed to be taken into custody by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Of interesting note is that only three of the men’s names were entered in the Border Patrol’s E3 reporting system, which is used by the agency to track apprehensions, detention hearings and removals of illegal immigrants. E3 also collects and transmits biographic and biometric data including fingerprints for identification and verification of individuals encountered at the border. The other two men were listed as “unknown subjects,” which is unheard of, according to a JW federal law enforcement source. “In all my years I’ve never seen that before,” a veteran federal law enforcement agent told JW….

I understand the need for operational security. We are at war, but the authorities should be way more clear as to what it is we are at war with.

Why? “Because she’s never been to the border.”
Sure, people usually make sketches of the security systems of places the first visit.
Didn’t someone write recently, or say on the news, that *women* aren’t involved in terrorism?

“E3 also collects and transmits biographic and biometric data including fingerprints for identification and verification of individuals encountered at the border. The other two men were listed as “unknown subjects,” which is unheard of, according to a JW federal law enforcement source”
    *****************************
When the committee considering changes to the visa programs asked the woman jeh johnson sent in his place as *expert* on such things, she said that everyone had their fingerprints taken when they entered the country and names were taken, etc. although she didn’t have any *numbers on her* and she didn’t really answer any questions asked of her.

Then, we read that certain people don’t allow full investigations, social media reading, and insist that no terrorists are coming in.
And even more *help* is given to those who wish to make the rest of us bow to their beastly master when they cross the border, and when they plan and *sketch* their targets.

Jeh Johnson is a left wing political hack who knows nothing about security; what qualified him for this post is that he is a loyal Obamite.

Sounds shady, but women cant be terrorists…right?

She “might” be the Leila Abdelrazaq from Chicago, a Palestinian activist who draws and writes graphic novels. Gabriel Schivone “might”be the leftist writer based in Arizona who is an activist on Mexican border issues and is also involved in the “Palestinian” cause. Just speculating on the who, not the what.

Completely agree on the ‘might be’s’

Ms. Abdel-blah-blah-blah could very well have just been doing research for her next book. On her website she say’s that her father was born in a Lebanon refugee camp and was surrounded by security checkpoints. She could be writing about the subject of ‘crossings’.

Having said that, how foolish does one have to be to go stand in front of an American-Mexican border checkpoint and start sketching the place up?! You’re practically asking to be tased, ‘sis’.

La Mariposa is primarily a crossing for large truck traffic. All of the traffic from central Mexico has to go through Mariposa, while local traffic goes through the Central Nogales gates. They’ve actually only started allowin gped, traffic at Mariposa really recently. It’s a strange thing for someone to be sketching, It’s a truck entry. There’s nothing to look at. The downtown gates are fairly picturesque, and I could buy someone sketching, but the truck entry? Not a chance. The only thing to draw are the electronic security features that they use to scan the tractor trailers. Wonder shat she was interested in? Hmmm

(I’m originally from NogAz – been through all three gates hundreds of times. Sorry for interrupting)

I also lived close to Nogales in the early 60’s when the only traffic was tourism to buy trinkets, watch bull fights, or visit the brothels on Canal street with frat boys from U.ofA. No doubt a tremendous transformation from those days. No longer a sleepy border town. My friends and family from that area as well as New Mexico say its just a matter of time before the refuse hits the air circulation device, in other words FUBAR.

I’d hope that the secrecy surrounding the arrest of this trio means that they’re a significant catch. Sounds to me that they’re sketching the placement of cameras and X-ray equipment in order to plan how to smuggle jihadis safely across la frontera, as they try to do from Calais, France into England.

There is not even a trace of a Shari´a Law in Japan, and halal food is extremely difficult to find in there.

The Japanese tend to perceive Islam as a “strange and dangerous religion” that a true Japanese should avoid, and the recent murders of two Japanese nationals, Haruna Yukawa and Kenji Goto, by ISIS have not contributed to any improvement in the opinions of the Japanese on this matter.

And the most interesting thing in the Japanese approach to Muslims is the fact that the Japanese do not feel any guilt for such a “discriminatory” approach to Islam, and they evidently do not think they should apologize to Muslims for the negative way in which they perceive their religion. Arab gas and oil- yes, and Japan maintains good relations with Arab exporters. But Islam – no, and Muslim immigration– neither. Islam is something that is suitable for others, not for Japan, and therefore the Muslims must remain outside.

And Muslims in Japan do not riot, they do not brand the Japanese “racists”, they do not burn cars, smash windows, behead Japanese soldiers for having been in Afghanistan, Iraq or anywhere else on Earth – and not a single Japanese has been victim of a Muslim terrorist attack on Japanese soil in the last 30 years.

Maybe Europe and the USA should look at the Japanese model of dealing with Muslims more closely?

This is the issue. Japanese evidently like their culture. America does not like its culture and feel guilty criticizing any culture including evil Islamic culture. Self hatred manifests itself in hating Christianity and Judaism and freedom also.

We first have to re learn to like ourselves to be able to confront Evil Islam.

First we should never use the word Islam. Second spend my tax dollars to investigate this isolated instance without hurting the feelings of her muslim family and friends. We need to find out if she was ” radicalized” by herself or any white extrimist helped her along the way. Most importantly Lets not talk about this so it goes away. Welcome to the liberal America. Also talk a lot about climate change gay rights and black lives matter. Please!

You have to assume they were planning the truck or container shipping of people, (a common practice in Europe) ,, having the DHS asleep must be a big help,,
What with Canada welcoming muslins and with Mexico being the land of the backhander this should fall into place without too much hassle …..

I’m sorry. Why would someone sketch when they can quickly snap with a cell phone? I’m very concerned. I do live in AZ. But I wouldn’t consider slowly sketching as potential terrorism preparation.
