Do you think the Obama Administration is spying on Iran and Khamenei? Probably not: they wouldn’t want to endanger the all-important nuclear deal.
“Report: The Obama Administration Has Been Spying On Israel, Netanyahu,” by Christian Datoc, Daily Caller, December 29, 2015 (thanks to Pamela Geller):
Despite promising to shut down eavesdropping operations on American allies nearly two years ago, the Obama administration has continued to monitor the communications of friendly heads of state, most notably Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The National Security Agency “captured communications between Mr. Netanyahu and his aides that inflamed mistrust between the two countries,” a senior intelligence official told The Wall Street Journal.
According to the official, the White House kept spying on Netanyahu because it served a “compelling national security purpose,” and used the information gleaned to counter Netanyahu’s campaign against President Obama’s proposed Iran Nuclear Deal….

Look at the utter hatred on Obama’s face as he looks at Netanyahu. Chilling.
That’s when the smiley mask he puts on for his Hollywood friends and his worshipers drops and we see the true face of this evil, wicked man.
Jeremiah says
Obama had predicted treason 7 years ago when he said:
“As I’ve said about the flag pin, I don’t want to be perceived as taking sides.” “There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression …” “The anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all that sort of thing.” Obama continued, “The National Anthem should be ‘swapped’ for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song ‘I’d Like To Teach the World To Sing’. If that were our anthem, then, I might salute it. In my opinion, we should consider reinventing our National Anthem as well as ‘redesign’ our Flag to better offer our enemies hope and love. It’s my intention, if elected, to disarm America to the level of acceptance to our Middle East Brethren. If we, as a Nation of warring people, conduct ourselves like the nations of Islam, where peace prevails – – – perhaps a state or period of mutual accord could exist between our governments ……”
When I Become President, I will seek a pact of agreement to end hostilities between those who have been at war or in a state of enmity, and a freedom from disquieting oppressive thoughts. We as a Nation, have placed upon the nations of Islam, an unfair injustice which is WHY my wife disrespects the Flag and she and I have attended several flag burning ceremonies in the past”.
“Of course now, I have found myself about to become The President of theUnited States and so I have put my hatred aside . I will use my power to bring CHANGE to this Nation, and offer the people a new path. My wife and I look forward to becoming our Country’s First black Family. Indeed, CHANGE is about to overwhelm the United States of America.”
He should have been executed then.

FWIW, Jeremiah, those quotes are from a satire site. Not that I disagree with you in principle, but still. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2008/oct/25/chain-email/the-coke-theme-song-and-more-ridiculous-allegation/
Don McKellar says
Good catch, kangi_nunpa. I got to the second sentence and stopped right there and thought: there is no way in hell Obama would say that — he’d THINK it, but he’d never say it. And this would have become a real firestorm, even if he said only the second sentence. Let alone the rest.

The Constitution is an imperfect document, and I think it is a document that reflects some deep flaws in American Culture . . .

Jeremiah,
People who overstate their case do not realize that they only discredit it. Better to understate your case.
Especially true about Islam. There is no need to exaggerate, as the reality is egregious enough.

I have noticed a distinct change in Obama’s appearance during the course of this second term. His eyes have begun to take on that distinctive dead shark eyes look that is the common trait of all jihadis we see photos of — regardless of ethnic origin. That dark, vacant look — the life gone from them, replaced by some dark evil. This phenomenon has been remarked on many times here on Jihad Watch. There is some sort of physical change, perhaps it has something to do with brain chemistry. I would suggest it is a trait of the psychotic sociopath state of Islamic supremacists on jihad. Others of a religious bent claim demonic possession. Look at that photo here, for example. In fact, look at any recent photos of him and compare them to how his eyes looked at the beginning of his first term.
Don McKellar says
One could compare Obama’s eyes with the jihadis we see on the same page of Jihad Watch right now. The Houston mosque burner, the SB couple, or that asian guy whose lawyer is trying out the new “Trump scam” argument. They’ve all got that dead shark eye look of the Islamic supremacist on jihad.

I concur, Don McKellar. Reminds me of a passage from Stephen King’s The Stand: “Men who find themselves late are never sure. They are all the things the civics books tell us the good citizens should be: partisans but never zealots, respecters of the facts which attend each situation but never benders of those facts, uncomfortable in positions of leadership but rarely able to turn down a responsibility once it has been offered … or thrust upon them.
…
“When Lincoln was assassinated, he was a prematurely old man tottering on the edge of a nervous breakdown. We used to watch presidents decay before our very eyes from month to month or even week to week on national TV – except for Nixon, who thrived on power the way a vampire bat thrives on blood…”
In short, a great leader – or even a good one – the responsibility drains them. What we see with O is entirely different – and far creepier.

@Don McKellar – I’ve noticed the same thing. This second term has been the term in which he has loosened up and become who he really is, and his face has changed. His face expresses a certain internal rage.

Obama has been a mistake.
Baucent says
Is this surprising? No. Is it a problem for Obama? Perhaps. There has been reports that communications between US Congressmen and Netanyahu were also intercepted. That is a problem, as it is one arm of government spying on another arm of government. If Obama knew or approved of that, he has a major problem.
Asian Crusader says
This is NOT about spying.
Obama’s machine is OPENLY telling members of Congress and their staff that their every communication with Israeli interests is being watched, and that anyone opposing Obama’s plans to annihilate Israel will be “punished.”
Asian Crusader says
Of course, politicians and operatives in D.C. have known for decades that they are being spied upon, and adapted their MO accordingly (if only by shrugging off the problem).
There is still hope for America so long as enough American women and men decide quite simply to STAND UP TO OFFICIAL INTIMIDATION through surveillance, administrative chicanery and media-engineered “narrative” control with resulting social pressure in the workplace and social settings.

Look at Obama’s evil eyes! He seems to be trying to fry Netanyahu with that stare!! What a shameful president, the US has.

Spying (intelligence gathering) is perfectly OK to ensure our security. When it is conducted by Obama it is all screwed up for his “agenda” of course. That is all.
He believes America and Israel are the problem and he can not be convinced otherwise due to his arrogance and lack of intellectual curiosity again because of arrogance. He is in my opinion extremely stupid man. I dont have a name for Ameicans who elected him twice.
MKG says
WHAT?
The US SPYING ON OUR FRIENDS?
I’M SHOCKED!
SHOCKED!!!!!!
Of course we are spying on them, and they are spying on us. How do you know who your true friends are unless you know what they are saying or doing behind your back. Besides intelligence gathering is just that, intelligence gathering. There are those who are good at gathering intelligence, who don’t get caught, and those who are sloppy and get caught. Sometimes they get caught on purpose. This has been going on long before Obama and will continue long after he is gone. To think this is all about Obama is absurd unless his objective is to ruin relations with our friends by exposing our intelligence gathering apparatus. In which case that could be considered treason. Or perhaps the idea is to let our opponents think there is a breakdown in relations with our friends. There is such a thing as counterintelligence or disinformation operations.
An ounce of confirmation is worth a ton of speculation. So as far as the government is concerned, we can speculate all we like. Because, anyone who knows the real score is not about to post it on the internet. To do so would definitely be treason and there is no protection for us lowly human resources. BTW, make no mistake, there is a dossier on each and every one of us who has posted anything on this website. NSA already knows who I am, and I have no problem with it.
Have a nice day.

Please don’t take this as an apologia for the O’s maladministration. I’ll also go on record that I believe this administration’s handling of relations with the rest of the world, whether friend, foe, or neutral (apart from, I guess, the “feel good” aspects of the Nobel Peace Prize) have been a disaster; and clear evidence that Shrillary Shroooooo is a proven incompetent, to say nothing of being someone who ought to be mistrusted for her fundamental dishonesty and skills that seem to be limited to keeping just one jump ahead of the law and parroting what the powers in the MSM want to hear.
If you end up in the US Foreign Service (by all means, go for it if you can–it’s interesting work, and is open to any US citizen whether natural-born or naturalized who is of good character and lacking skeletons in the closet), one of the first things they tell you when you report in on the first day and the judge swears you in (the public swearing in later is for show–legal reasons for it) is that there’s no such thing as a “friendly” intelligence service. Everyone spies on everyone–friend and foe alike. Even the Brits and Canadians spy on us Yanks, and we do it to them, too.
Hence I’m not surprised that the O administration has been spying on the Israelis (or that they’re probably spying on us). So did both Bush administrations. I even recall when I was in Bangkok and involved with comparing notes with the British on some issues of common concern to be aware of a certain person on their side who was believed to be MI5. I’m sure if they think one of us is CIA, they’ll warn their person in the conference, too.
Intelligence gathering is never easy or thorough, regardless of what the movies would have you believe. It’s all done as if you’re putting together an enormous jigsaw puzzle in which about a third of the pieces are missing and many others are damaged. Further, among the secrets various governments try to keep, there are conversations about matters otherwise open and legitimate to even the most fanatic advocates of governmental transparency which neither side will publicly comment on until the agreement’s thoroughly hashed out. A careless “leak” to the media before the right time, and all your hard work of negotiation goes down the drain.
A bigger disgrace is this administration’s bullying of African countries that have kept anti-sodomy laws on the books (I wonder how it went over with Ugandan officials, especially Baganda, who know exactly what it was for which the Ugandan martyrs were martyred). My cynical side thinks that the O wants to open new playgrounds for hiss Terry Bean-type friends, now that southern Asia is wising up to what wide-open sex tourism is doing.

That’s pretty much how I expect things to be, a “trust, but verify, and be on the lookout for unpleasant surprises” approach.
