If only Hannity will stop saying those radicals have “hijacked” Islam, then we might get somewhere. His constant blabbing of “hijacking the religion” is certainly confusing the audience who don’t really know what Islam is like – a totally evil ideology/cult and not a peaceful religion that should be banned, sooner the better
pdxnag says
That was my first thought.
Why can’t Sean Hannity use the word “supposedly” (with a little snark) just before hijacked? There is no moderate Islam. It has not been hijacked by radicals. There are some “Muslims” who practice less Islam, but it is they who are the radicals, the heretics.

Mine too. Frustrating. But he got to do some PC.

Hannity is an employee and I would bet his employer demands to hear the word ‘highjacked’ to be politically correct. Employers are allergic to being attacked in their office buildings by airplanes flown by jihadists.
I bet Hannity would love to say ‘supposedly highjacked’, but hasn’t authorization.
It would be great if journalists and editors would find a creative way to express doubt about the ‘religion of peace’ hoax.
Most editors are unacquainted with Islam’s source documents and are TOTALLY UNABLE to comment or report on Islam accurately and fairly. They are out of their depth.

There is no radicalization, there are no hijackers. There is Islam; it’s in the books, Islam *is* the books. Of course we should police mosques, *all* mosques, cuz that’s where they preach from the books. That’s what Kemal Ataturk did, it worked for him. And he was stuck with Moslems to begin with, he didn’t import them. He knew.
This episode brings the David Lynch’s surreal movie Elephant Man to mind. Here we have a half formed Unicorn dropped from the womb of Mother Islam, he’s kicking for life, and his grotesque mental carcass is being kicked and stabbed by the adult properly formed Moslems who surround his glistening being.

Remember radical Islamists of of the most extreme kind, (Saudi that is), own great big pieces of Fox News. By extension Sean is on the Wahabi payroll. The US Obamabushaton is in deep Muslim collusion confusion.

Hi Robert, My son and I signed up for CPAC 2016 (2-5 March) and are hoping that you and the other heroes of the counter-Jihad will host a forum. There has never been a more important time, and they can’t banish you to a Breitbart-sponsored side show given current events and overwhelming interest in this issue among conservatives. Please, if at all possible, take your critically important message to CPAC.

The “fundamental” tenants of Islam preach the forced spread of Islam throughout the world. The refugees through bringing their religion to America and Canada are a “fundamental” part of the proselytizing process. What is “radical” is to take the position represented by Hannity’s Muslim guest. My hat off to you sir. It is pleasant to see a true radical on the Fox Network.

Umm…my “hinky meter” spiked when the imam was speaking.

Mine, too! Glad I was not had only one.

islam was started by an evil murdering thief and raper of children. The writings in the unholy book are an encouragement to others of like personality to murder, rape and steal. There is no place in islam for decent people who want to *live and let live* and to enjoy a measure of freedom to make life choices.
If he continues to say these things, he cannot stay a part of islam, the wild beast from satan. He will have to escape or be killed.
And by now, Hannity should realize that there has been no *hijacking*…no illegal seizure of islam by *radicals.* He could just quietly stop saying it, as this man shows, along with the polls, that the majority of moslims are what the public thinks of as *radical*…and that it’s not a *tiny minority* that wish to enforce their ungodly code of evil conduct on the rest of us. The majority wish to do that.

It is difficult to evaluate how much support this imam should get. On one hand he is right and brave speaking about problems within islam and the need to change the way islam is interpreted in most mosques in america and abroad. On the other, he is not talking about the fundamental principles and teachings of islam. As Robert pointed out, he has no tools withing the islamic theology, history and tradition to to convince moslems in need of change. What it means is that, regardless of how Nobel his intentions are, he has lost the fight before it started. Trump’s proposal is reactive and may be a good start, but we have to start proactive moves with full understanding that there is no “moderate” islam and reform is impossible.
I always feel uncomfortable when Robert talks about peaceful moslems. Even Mohammed knew that all moslems will not take up arms. He gave clear instructions how those peaceful moslems can contribute to jihad and to be part of it. Jihad is not a choice for a moslem, it is an obligation.

I watched this program the other night.
The “hijacked” crap begins at 3:07.
Watch RS’s face.

What counter to jihad could an imam possibly use? He could claim to be a conscientious objector but his fate would be the same. We have a Constitution, either accept it or get out.

Speaking of mosques in the U.S., here is a letter that I sent to PBS Newhour on its December 11 segment American Muslims feel singled out amid a climate of fear http://www.pbs.org/newshour/?post_type=bb&p=165432:
I am writing in regards to your segment on backlash against Muslims. This is the second “Muslims fear backlash” story that I’ve heard today (the first was on NPR’s Morning Edition). I am sick of the “Muslims fear backlash” stories. They deflect attention from the true victims of Islamic terror attacks and make Muslims the victims.
I note that P.J. Trobia visited Dar Al Hijrah mosque near Washington, DC. Did you ever look into this mosque? It has multiple links to terrorism:
* Two of the 9/11 hijackers worshiped at Dar Al Hijrah
* Imam Sheik Shaker Elsayed of Dar al-Hijrah was captured on video advocating armed jihad: see https://youtu.be/RnkjM1jeMz8
* Ahmed Abu Ali, who taught children at the mosque, was sentenced to life for plotting to assassinate former President George W. Bush.
* The late Anwar al-Awlaki was an imam at Dar Al Hijrah Mosque. He counseled both Nidal Hasan, the jihadist who carried out the Ft. Hood massacre, and Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the “underwear Bomber.” You might recall that al-Awlaki was killed in a drone in Yeman.
It always astounds me that mainstream media gives credence to organizations like Dar Al Hijrah. Is it laziness, naivete, or pressure to push out stories?

These are the poisoned fruits of decades of Saudi Wahabi attempts (pretty successful) to dominate American Islam through hook and crook. Didn’t a sufi sheykh attempt to counsel President Clinton (pre-9-11) concerning this very issue.
If Muslims can not create a “reformed” version of Islam, there is simply no place for it among the rest of Adam’s children.
I often do not care for Sean Hannity’s viewpoints, but kudos to him for hitting this one nail on the head, and for giving Mr. Spencer and Mrs. Gabriel the opportunity to speak the truth.
Joanne says
Is Sean Hannity really just STARTING to wonder if mosques should be under surveillance? Oy vey.

Non-hijacked islam – a.k.a. “the unicorn”.
