Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

India: Islamic jihadists in Indian military uniforms attack air force base

Jan 2, 2016 4:32 am By Robert Spencer

This was not just the actions of a few “lone wolves,” but a major attack, with a gun battle that lasted several hours. “The BBC’s Sanjoy Majumder in Delhi says it is not yet clear who the attackers were but suspicion is already falling on Kashmiri militant groups based in Pakistan. Some Indian security officials suggested the Islamist militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed was to blame.” A Muslim group, dedicated to implementing the teachings of the Qur’an and Muhammad? Inconceivable!

Pathankot

“Pathankot: Gunmen attack India air force base near Pakistan border,” BBC, January 2, 2016:

Four gunmen have been killed in an overnight attack on an Indian air force base near Pakistani border, officials say.

Two soldiers at the Pathankot base were also killed in a gun battle lasting several hours.

Operations at the base are continuing, with some reports saying gunmen are holed up in the base.

The incident came days after the Indian and Pakistani leaders Narendra Modi and Nawaz Sharif met in Lahore to launch a surprise peace initiative.

The whole of India’s Punjab state has been placed on alert.

The base is on the main highway leading to Indian-administered Kashmir.

Militant allegation

The gunmen wore Indian military uniforms and drove a hijacked car when they launched the attack at 03:30 (22:00 GMT Friday).

They entered living quarters at the base, but were contained there and so were unable to cause any damage to military hardware, said air force spokeswoman Rochelle D’Silva.

On Saturday morning, fresh gunfire was heard and a helicopter seen firing at an area inside the base.

The BBC’s Sanjoy Majumder in Delhi says it is not yet clear who the attackers were but suspicion is already falling on Kashmiri militant groups based in Pakistan.

Some Indian security officials suggested the Islamist militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed was to blame.

India says the group is backed by Pakistan, but Islamabad denies this….

    Not inconceivable.

Read Section 1 and chapter 4 of Section 2 and become good as Robert Spencer.

Pakistan became a country in 1947, the land was formerly part of India. You think Muslims would like to take the rest of India for themselves?

The world is divided into two: the “civilized world” and the “Islamic world” – they are like oil and vinegar, you can mix them, but they will always eventually separate as they are insoluble to each other.

Truth. The lying media did not report the fact that it was a Muslim terrorist group. They always cover up Islamic jihad terrorism.

Islamists in Indian Army Uniform. This is not the first time that happened. It is interesting that Pakistanies probably have a truck lodes of Indian Uniform in the case of a war. It appears it is dead simple to slip past the first line of defense of Indian Army with a uniform. A similar stuff happened in 2000 the event known as Chittisinghpura massacre, when Pakistanies manage to slip in and kill tens of people and disappear across back into Pakistan. India never bothered to find out the culprits. Case is forgotten.

Act of war, plain and simple. Just like the attack on Mumbai was an act of war.

India shouldn’t bother with ‘talks’ with Pakistan.

Modi should tell Pakistan that because of this attack – this cross-border assault – ALL talks are off and will remain off, period; and ALL cross-border attackers will be terminated with extreme prejudice and Pakistan will be held responsible for those attacks.

The article says there had been a meeting between India and Pakistan about ‘peace’ – “Indian and Pakistani leaders Narendra Modi and Nawaz Sharif met in Lahore to launch a surprise peace initiative.”

I’d like to know who *proposed* this meeting. Because if it was the Indian not the Pakistani side, then this Muslim attack across the border is totally predictable. From the Muslim POV, if someone asks for ‘peace’ then they are showing weakness…so…you ramp up the attacks/ violence (though often these days it’s done by proxies, so as to maintain plausible deniability and keep up the ‘peace partner’ charade as long as possible…all the while the Infidel side is being further weakened) and demoralised).

Every time Israel has engaged in peace talks with the Muslim Arabs, attacks have *escalated*, not diminished.

With Pakistan, thing to note is that a civilian government is never in control of foreign policy. They pulled of Kargil when Nawaz was PM as well after Vajpayee did Lahore bus trip and when he tried to clip wings of Pak army they staged a coup (Musharraf). For Pak army PM Modi`s visit was similar to coop bypassing army.

For Pakistan that flies the Islamic flag, fighting in India like Islamic duty to kill non believers. They spreads false propaganda that India was ruled by Islam for 1000 years which is farthest thing from truth.

Dont blame poor Nawaz but unfortunately he is not in control. Pak army has a lot of proxies inluding regulars.

In Kargil war, they even refused to take their own dead soldiers. Indian army was kind enough to given these scum bags a proper Burial in accordance with Islamic rites.

Unfortunately for India, Pakistan is a whore nation to the likes of many ~ US, Britain (tradional), China, Saudi Arabia etc. During every single india pak war these countries prop up these scumbags time and again.

Karma will catch up with all these nations… it is but natural and a matter of time. Post independence these muslims have committed genocide on Hindus and before as well. Revenge will only be a matter of time and place, centuries worth of atrocities by Islam await retribution.

It is the war between civilisation and Islam. good will ultimately pevail and balance will be restored.

Jai Hind! Jai Bharat mata (mother india)!

It was sheer good fortune for us Indians that we had advance and credible intelligence about this. As a result, 50 elite commandos from the National Security Guard (NSG) were waiting for these scum at the Air Force base. I am glad that all the terrorists were united with their 72 virgins in paradise (hell?)

After feku and rajnath tweeted that operation was over, firing started again in the Pathankot airbase.

Did HM mislead us all or did NSA mislead HM?

I am glad that the militant attack at Indian airforce is over.. Indians had advanced intelligence inputs on it.. one more thing would been better getting at least one jihadi alive and after retrieving information kill him

As in Israel, the Islamic skirmishing in India is never ending, but the people have remarkable resilience and will persevere to build better lives for themselves and a stronger future for their country.

You are correct. The people in India want to enrich themselves and move up, in stark contrast to the outlook of our neighbors. These neanderthal islamist designs will be defeated.

Was there a cartoon contest going on at the base or something? Because I heard that’s what drives muslims crazy – cartoons. Well, cartoons and Crusades, but mostly cartoons.
