Hossein Salami, deputy commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, declared that the “American sailors started crying after arrest, but the kindness of our Guard made them feel calm.” As the Iranians continue to boast and thump their chests about this incident, the Obama Administration’s attempts to wave it away ring increasingly hollow. Iran humiliated these sailors and the U.S. itself, and has demonstrated the weakness and fecklessness of the Obama Administration to the entire world.
“Iran: ‘American Sailors Started Crying After Arrest,'” by Adam Kredo, Washington Free Beacon, January 16, 2016:
A senior Iranian military commander in charge of the country’s Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed that the 10 U.S. sailors who were recently captured and subsequently released by the Islamic Republic “started crying after [their] arrest,” according to Persian language comments made during military celebrations this weekend.
Hossein Salami, deputy commander of the IRGC, which is responsible for boarding the U.S. ships and arresting the sailors, claimed in recent remarks, the “American sailors started crying after arrest, but the kindness of our Guard made them feel calm.”
Hossein went on to brag that the incident provides definitive evidence of the Iranian military’s supremacy in the region.
“Since the end of the Second World War, no country has been able to arrest American military personnel,” the commander said, according to an independent translation of his Persian-language remarks made Friday during a “martyrs’ commemoration ceremony” in Isfahan.
Since the capture and release of the U.S. sailors this week, critics of the Obama administration’s handling of the situation have expressed embarrassment at State Department’s move to profusely thank Iran, despite its release of photos depicting the sailors on their knees with their hands held over their heads….
“I saw the weakness, cowardice, and fear of American soldiers myself. Despite having all of the weapons and equipment, they surrendered themselves with the first action of the guardians of Islam,” Ahmad Dolabi, an IRGC commander, said in Persian-language remarks at a prayer service in Iran’s Bushehr providence.
“American forces receive the best training and have the most advanced weapons in the world,” he added. “But they did not have the power to confront the Guard due to weakness of faith and belief.”…
“We gave all of the weapons and equipment to American forces according to an Islamic manner. They formally apologized to the Islamic Republic,” Dolabi said. “Be certain that with the blood of martyrs, the revolution advances. No one can inflict the smallest insult upon our Islamic country.”

That is not a big surprise to me, especially as tens of thousands of US and Western soldiers who served in Iraq or in Afghanistan (fighting arab/muslim cave men) are suffering from the so-called ‘PTSDs’ and a huge number of them are committing suicide every year as result of it. The whole traditional manliness and toughness has lost its meaning in the Western world today and you wonder if these thousands of US/Western soldiers are getting “PTSDs” from fighting a bunch of arab/muslim cave-men how would they fare in a real war where all hell is unleashed on them?

I doubt Russian sailors would have been doing that. It is noticeable how the West has become ripe for the taking over the last 40 years or so courtesy of political correctness and self-hatred. This is a manifestation of thta self-hate. Why isn’t the US Navy allowed to prevent this sort of thing from happening? Why are 10,000 lawyers needed in the Pentagon? There shouldn’t be 10 lawyers there, let alone 10,000. You can bet that if this were the rules of 70 years ago, these Revoluitionary Guards cockboats would have been shredded to matchwood.

Hey CB, the Russians call their homeland the Motherland, not “Fatherland.” Ever heard of “Mother Russia?” So you can stop pretending you’re Russian now.
And btw, there were plenty of cases of Russians with PTSD during the decade-long war in Afghanistan when the jihadis drove them out. It just wasn’t called that back. And instead of receive therapy for their mental condition, they were sent to Siberia. …at best.

You are right. Russians call their country Mother Land as well as Father Land. Christianblood I hear your concern for our troops and you are right, too many of our veterans are killing themselves.
It has been my observation that our soldiers in the past did suffer from PTSD but we did not call it that. It was known as “combat fatigue” or worse “shell shock.” The main difference between soldiers of the past and soldiers of today is soldiers of the past were not bombarded by social engineering or feel good psychology which pushes you to ignor the elephant in the room and suppress your feeling about it. Soldiers of the past were allowed to mourn and grieve lost friends, and hate their enemies. They were allowed to vent. They never really get over it, but they learn to accept it and deal with it so the stress does not become a disorder. Such things only really become a disorder when it effects your ability to function. Besides that, they won the war with total victory on the battle field and in the political arena.
Have a nice day.

“How would they fare in a real war?” That is precisely the point. We are not allowed to fight a real war. We are being thrown into the meat grinder with our hands tied behind our backs. I have found some of the root causes of PTSD to be the feelings of frustration, shame and failure as a result of our rules of engagement and foreign policies. Victory acts as balm on the soul of the warrior. Make no mistake, war is hell and a sad event, but victory brings a certain satisfaction for the spirit.
One things the Iranians did get right though, the US military is the most highly trained. The problem is we are mostly trained in sexual harassment prevention, drug and alcohol prevention, smoking cessation, suicide prevention and celebrating diversity (pending on the month). The moment you bring up hand to hand combat training or combat hand gunnery, they look at you like you’re crazy.
Started crying? I believe it. Not because they were afraid of the Iraians but because they realized the inadequacy of their training, the betrayal of their service. Betrayal is the worst of grievances. The worst is yet to come when they are charged with violating the UCMJ by surrendering their vessel while they still had the means to resist (I forget which UCMJ article). They will also have to answer up for violating the service man’s code of conduct as a POW.
In conclusion all I can really say is stand firm boatguys and demand proper training from your unit. In your area of operations you will get more respect from your adversaries and allies alike for being a hardass. No body respects weakness.

Oh, yeah, tag-teaming with Russia to keep Bashar in power, chanting death to America, promising to develop a nuclear weapon, etc. Who helped the Iranians build the reactor in Bushehr? Who founded the Gas-Exporting Countries Forum? Russia and Iran have a common goal: limit and counter American presence and influence in that part of Asia.
Avenger says
Angemon, Iran will never trust the US or Britain. We destroyed their legitimate government in 1953 and put into place a US puppet (The Shah).
Why was this done? Was if to contain the Soviet Union? No, it was just good old corporate interests mixed with our politians corrupt need for control in Asia and the ME.
The US and China built Pakistans nuclear weapons program to check the warming relations and alliance’s between the Soviets and India.
Because of that meddling the Soviets would help Iranian revolutionaries kick out the shah and help jump start their own weapons program.
The US and Britain have set the course for chaos and the spread of jihad in the Middle East. It certainly hasn’t been Russia.
Also, Bashar Assad is the head of the legitimate government that rules Syria and we have no right to take sides in this civil war. Because we did, thousands of Christians, Kurds and Yashidis have been murdered by our ISIS allies.
We need to stay the hell away from all Muslim nations, we don’t need their oil or their filthy money that buys our foreign policy.
Angemon says

Do the Russians have that right? Do Western Europeans have that right?
Avenger says
In this case Angemon the Russians should have but didn’t. It was only after the US and terror states Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar began suppling millions of dollars of advanced weaponry to the Syrian Sunni rebels and newly formed ISIS, that Putin finally intervened.
A similar question too you would be – should the US rush military aid to Turkey if Kurdish separatists, who are backed by Russia and China, began overthrowing Erdagon’s fascist government with thousands of civilian casualties?
I’d imagine you would say “yes”.
Angemon says
You imagine wrong. The US would probably back Erdogan’s government, because Turkey is a NATO member, but for all I know and care, Turkey should be booted out of Nato (and Cyprus, for that matter), not allowed in the EU, and treated as any other terrorism-sponsor state was treated before Obama took office.
Also, Russians have no business in Syria. Western Europe, however, does, since it’s in our best interests to back a ruler who would stop the hemorrhage of “refugees” and “extremists” pouring into Western Europe. Same goes for Libya.
Avenger says
Using Turkey wasn’t the best example because of its NATO membership but turkey being a very close ally of the USA, would still trigger the same response. The US has never considered Turkey a sponsor of terrorism, which exposes my governments true values between right and wrong.
My other point; If the “legitimate” Syrian government had been allowed to quell the initial Arab Spring uprising (without foreign intervention), then there would not have been the invasion of Syrian and Iraqi war refugees into Western Europe.
The EU’s response to this challenge has also been pitiful at best. The majority of your native citizens have no spine. When it’s crunch time they’ll beg their eastern neighbors “including Russia” for help. My advice is don’t burn any bridges between your regions and don’t depend on the USA to help like we did in the other wars, we too will have lost our way by then.

Dear Ex-muslim, I am not denying the existence of PTSD–“Christianblood” is the one pretending it does not exist in Russian soldiers. This syndrome has been widely recognized at least since WWI, when it was known as “shell shock”.
I donate to the Wounded Warrior Project, and this includes treatment for PTSD.
While PTSD is a serious issue–and addressing it is a part of taking care of our wounded troops and veterans just as much as is medical care and physical therapy–its role is often overstated both by Leftists and haters of the West like “Christianblood”, who like to pretend that the US military is intrinsically dysfunctional.
The truth is that suicide rates are about the same for military–including those who have served in combat–as it is for the general population.
Tim Worstall, a senior fellow at the Adam Smith Institute, said that the veteran suicide rate is not out of line with demographics.
“There’s a definite age and gender bias to suicide and the veteran’s rate just doesn’t look out of line with the demographics,” Worstall said. “It’s obviously true that each and every suicide is a tragedy but a concentration on veterans seems unwarranted when the rate isn’t that different from that of non-veterans.”

If these American sailors actually did cry it’s because of the pussification in their upbringing.
It all starts in the classroom with teachers telling them to behave more like girls and not men. Our future soldiers then watch all these fantasy war and death games on tv thinking theyre ready for war but when they do see actual blood and guts on the battle field they curl up in a ball.
In the old days teens hunted and fished, lived on farms or ranches and just saw more of the cycle of life and death.
I recommend any soldier earmarked for the battle front that they should work a few months on the kill floor of a meat packing plant.
You don’t see Muslims committing suicide after slitting the throats of enemy combatants or civilians, their children are raised around death and become immune to PTSD.

Here is how Obama looks at this. The Great Satan has humiliated Islam for many centuries. The Great Satan supports the Little Satan which humiliates the “Palestinian” Muslim peoples who are not a people. The Great Satan is getting what she properly deserves. Former Sec. of State Condoleezza Rice used similar language (as did Mr. Bush) to describe what Israel has and is doing to these poor peoples with U.S. support.
“For more than 60 years [the “Palestinians”]… endure the daily humiliations — large and small — that come with occupation. So let there be no doubt: The situation for the Palestinian people is intolerable.”
(A New Beginning: Speech by President Barack Obama in Cairo, Egypt, June 2009 – Islam, Muslims, Finding Common Ground in the Middle East)
“I think I know what it’s like for a Palestinian mother to tell her child that she can’t travel on that highway— because she is Palestinian. And the anger and humiliation that comes with that. My mother had to do that— because I was black and there were places that I couldn’t go just because of the color of my skin….”

He palled around a lot with those oil rich countries and this is the result. It’s been acceptable to the American people for a long time and it should never have been allowed.
Why did Saudi’s fly out of US after 0/11? A valid question to this day.
I blame Barach Obama’s election on George Bush and his rich cronies who sold our independence that was fought and died for over 200 years. And don’t forget, the conservatives of the time just ignored all the bullcrap that went down. So idiots were able to take over all our great institutions.
Even with the election, you still got creepy conservatives like paul ryan who do more damage than good to conservatism:
His tough talk about FOOD STAMPS. Oh yeah, that’s a big problem for a great nation.
What about the export/import bank? Oh, you just let that one roll huh? Oh, I see.
I’ll bet he is so conservative HE CHANGED HIS OWN DIAPERS.
We can’t let idiots take over again. We have to stay active and alert and I am a conservative but I don’t like stupid.

Amen to that, clap. We here all know to especially watch their filthy ‘smell laden’ left hands, always!!!
The taqiyya, (allah is master of deceit), lie of “Iran: ‘American Sailors Started Crying After Arrest,’ wreaks of Iranian islamic pigsh**, all can put their lives on that. I am familiar as are many of us, with our military men, and that ‘don’t’ happen, except sometimes in regret, for lost souls, who have gone on to God!
It wreaks, in classic Iranian islamic gang style “war is deceit” and “al is the best of deceivers” style!!!! Most of our readers fully know that fundamental, as well as “stab them when their back is toward you” another famous written principle of satan’s devil’s disciples criminal gang doctrine of crime!
Because of the duplicitous deceiver hussein and his many traitorous minions, the devil’s disciples of islam think they can take advantage of the American public, as well, that we are all stupid simpletons, softened up by the leftist scum. They will learn, just as they clearly fear (by recorded quote) incredibly so, Christians, and Christianity, their “greater devil”
Remember, Always watch your back!
Carolyne says
Their left hands might not smell so bad anymore since a Grand Mufti in Turkey gave Muslims permission to use toilet paper. I think they used it before but somehow got the idea to wrap it around their heads instead of its intended purpose.
As to our sailors crying, I doubt that’s true, but even if it is it isn’t humiliating. If they were actually crying, they were likely upset because our Muslim in Chief forbade them to take any self-defensive action.

“I think I know what it’s like for a Palestinian mother to tell her child that she can’t travel on that highway— because she is Palestinian. And the anger and humiliation that comes with that’.
Palestinian mother continues: ‘But hey kid you can help with the rocket launchers and there are mega opportunities opening up in the tunneling business’.
Those separate highways were established to keep the bombers at bay.
West Bank Palestinians previously had unrestricted access to the Israel job market – particularly in construction. The only negative I ever located from the Israeli side was a dry as dust comment from the Reserve Bank of Israel. It said (re the Palestinians) ‘We recognise the attractiveness of the relatively high-paid construction jobs, but shouldn’t these young men be in university or vocational training?’
The bombing became intolerable, the walls went up, the Palestinians couldn’t get to their workplaces and BHO states the the Palestinians have been placed in ‘an intolerable position’.
The fecklessness of the man!

I get what you are saying. Speaker elect Paul Ryan speaks for my party (the GOP) and the nation when it comes to Muslims.
Ryan: “This is not conservatism. What was proposed yesterday (a temporary moratorium) is not what this party stands for, and more importantly, is not what this country stands for.”
We do not humiliate Muslims.
Oppressaphobe says
Since when do we let social pressures dictate our national security?
There is a serious problem when social pressure is more incentive than what our intelligence gathering, our law enforcement and other experts are telling us.
It is treason to try to socially pressure our country with dumbass statements like:
uh,…that’s not who we are.
When did this language about “who we are” ( a very weird thing to try to even tathom) become the standard for our national security??
Must you morons accept everything they try to shovel down your throat???

With all the Iranian video cameras recording the moment of surrender, why is there no video footage or photos of the Americans crying? If this event truly occurred, do you really think for a moment that the Iranians would have turned off all their cameras?
gravenimage says
*Exactly* what I was thinking, Xero G. So far I’ve seen at least a dozen pictures of our sailors being captured and held, and in not one does anyone appear to be crying.
I would not take the word of those clearly trying to humiliate us.

Perhaps the American eagle has had his wings clipped for too long, and is no longer able to fly, let alone soar; and perhaps because they who once found hope in the Light and Truth and Might of the Lord, though no more, is why they grow weary, and faint along the way.
The journey may be long, and the way may be hard, . . .
but those who trust in the Lord [the maker of worlds and bringer of light] will renew their strength. [Once again] They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. [They’ll be back!]
Rise up America, rise up. Find the way; and, truly, Be Great Again.

Iran: “American sailors started crying after arrest”
……………………..
As I have noted, this is likely bullsh*t.
But it also gives the lie to something else, which I have absurdly heard widely over the past few days–the idea that Iran was just “rescuing” American sailors whose boat had broken down.
Let’s leave aside for a moment whether these men cried or whether Iran propagandists are just *saying* they cried–why would this come up at all if Iran was just giving our sailors a helping hand? If some friendly nation’s coast guard showed up to help me out, I certainly wouldn’t be crying in fear.
*Clearly* Iran means this as a threat–both that Americans are weak and that we should have something to cry *about* in facing Iran.
My guess is that these brave sailors were instructed ahead of time to stand down if confronted by the Iranian barbarians–and this *does* indicate weakness–not of the naval personnel themselves, but of our appeasing government.
And Iran will milk *that* for all it is worth.
SoCalMike says
It’s clearly BS.
American soldiers aren’t like that nor would they do that.
Not now nor 70 or 150 or 230 years ago.
That just isn’t our way.

The fact that they started crying would not surprise me.
Imagine how you would feel if your president, your country and your comrades abondoned you to the enemy. These men and woman must be feeling so humiliated and betrayed. Nothing hurts as much as treachery. Just like Bengazhi. It seems part of US foreign policy. All of these people would be prime candidates for PTSD. Would not be surprised if in 10 years most have suicided.
The west is raising their young men to be gay metrosexual pansies. They are wrapped in cottonwood from birth. Unlike the enemy, they have little experience of life outside of the cocoon. We are reliant too much on technology in warfare and having the enemy at arm’s length these days. If it fails there is no fallback position. Can you imagine our soldiers fighting hand to hand as their grandfathers did.
We will inherit the world we deserve.
Xero_G says
You wouldn’t be “surprised” if patriotic Americans who volunteered and trained to join the most powerful fighting force on Earth, cried when captured by a third world, 7th century, gang of backward, inbred, misogynistic, moon-god worshiping, Mo-zombies? And what do you mean, “Just like Benghazi”? Those heroes certainly did not cry when they were attacked, they ran towards the danger and held their own against superior odds, saving scores of others.
The American military deserves more respect than that. Don’t buy-in to the Islamist propaganda.
Vae victis says
My point was, your military is being betrayed by your political leaders, just as was your ambassador in Bengahzi. Seems obvious to anyone outside of US.
Western Canadian says
The fact that every troll coming out from under their rocks would jump on this very likely a lie and smear, would not surprise me. Your eagerness to believe smears against the US military, and your pathetic fantasy world description, are beyond pathetic.

I’m a six year combat vet of Afghanistan and Iraq.
Today’s soldiers are every bit as committed to their mission and victory as any other American soldier in history. I’ve witnessed a whole lot of heroism and sacrifice. A lot of death.
The only difference is today’s ROE.
THAT is what infuriates, frightens, and demoralizes us vets. And watching Obama hand all of that hard won territory back to the enemy is beyond heartbreaking.
somehistory says
Anyone who has smelled a rotting corpse knows how much it burns the throat and brings tears to the eyes and a running to the nose.
islam is death; a huge, evil. rotting corpse. To be near it is to be repelled by it.
And furthermore, there is no shame in tears, if, in fact they did cry. Better the real thing than fake ones used to manipulate.
SoCalMike says
John Kerry and Obama not to mention the Left in general just love it when tyrants spit in and urinate on their faces.
It confirms and reinforces their view of history, existence and the world.
Their natural reaction and response is to say “Thank you, sir, may I have another.”

Please view share and give a thumbs up to the following documentary, https://youtu.be/t_Qpy0mXg8Y. It reveals how treacherous Islam is.
If western governments collapse, the only people with any hope of a comfortable retirement are the ones with enough children to take care of them. Children use to contribute to the family income. Now they are an expensive time consuming hobby and are getting replaced with gadgets and toys.
Sam says
$100 correct!
I am beginning to realize one more thing in not having children in the west. People don’t like themselves so they do not want to duplicate themselves. I can not prove this but I truly believe in that.
Oppressphobe says
Actually, I think its’ because they like themselves too much.
But I feel very sorry for this generation because MY generation was the one that dropped the ball.
Boomers and a bit beyond, had the greatest of all worlds and lived at the apex of all humanity. And what did they do with that blessing?
Well, they decided they didn’t really need God anymore. Oh, and why would they want to stay home and raise a family, daycare is good enough and TV is a good babysitter.
Plus we need to go to work to buy all the devices on which our little darlings can play call of duty on, etc…
And why not legalize pot, we use alcohol so why not? Is pot really so bad, even though alcohol is water soluble and pot is not–not to worry.
And let the politicians take care of all the messy details about free trade and all such nonsense as that–we don’t care about that because, hey it’s the eighties and nineties and life is pretty good still…
….and on and on and you get the picture.
Oppressaphobe says
Nobody talks about the destruction of the traditional family.
This bullcrap started way back with murphy brown so you can lay the blame at the feet of Hollywood and those elites.
If we had all the aborted babies since then, we would have a massive army and a population that could rival islam.
And many successful businesses, consider farming too, need and depend upon family involvement and they grow into strong businesses. But we don’t have any of those anymore. But the muslims do, so while we are declining, they will rise up to fill those spots here in our own country.
So it sucks to be stupid and liberal, for all of us.

I don’t believe it for one minute that our sailors cried when captured. America is wise to your “war head games”, so your games are over with us american’s, uh, the ones who love america and willing to stand up for her. We are at war in case anyone noticed. By the way Dan, no vet has ever been faced with war on our own soil where the enemy is mixed among us and leadership is not covering your back, so don’t be so surprised that they are quite.

This smells like Kerry set this up. Too many impossibilities. Ships nearby could have provided aid, all compasses not working, out of gas, no communications. Question is, what did he get other than humiliating us?.
Solomon says
Question is, what did he get other than humiliating us?
That alone is quite sufficient for someone who despises America as mich as Kerry (or Obama) does. But with humiliation also comes a reduction in power, prestige, and respect, which is precisely what all of their vile ilk want for this country. And always have.

Painfully obvious that the iranian thugs had one objective… to humiliate the USA and especially our limp-wristed fake president. That these poor sailors were made to suffer to entertain the dark-ages cretins of islam makes my blood boil. I will support anyone who wants to blast Tehran off the map! I think that would be a wonderful idea! Oh, if only we could trade our doper, faggot, imitation president for a real man like BIbi Netanyahu!!!
