Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Turkey’s Erdogan: Hitler’s Germany exemplifies effective presidential system

Jan 1, 2016 10:19 am By Robert Spencer

It is inconceivable that any Western leader would favorably cite Hitler in any context, but in Turkey, citing Hitler doesn’t bring instant opprobrium. Mein Kampf became a bestseller when it was published there in 2005, and Hitler remains popular. Also, a former classmate says Erdogan used to carry a copy around when he was a young man. Hitler’s antisemitism resonates with Islamic Jew-hatred.

“Turkey’s Erdogan says Hitler’s Germany exemplifies effective presidential system,” Reuters, January 1, 2016:

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, who is pushing for executive powers, cites Hitler’s Germany as an example of an effective presidential system, in comments broadcast by Turkish media on Friday.

Erdogan wants to change the Turkish constitution to turn the ceremonial role of president into that of a chief executive, a Turkish version of the system in the United States, France or Russia.

Asked on his return from a visit to Saudi Arabia late on Thursday whether an executive presidential system was possible while maintaining the unitary structure of the state, he said: “There are already examples in the world. You can see it when you look at Hitler’s Germany.

“There are later examples in various other countries,” he told reporters, according to a recording broadcast by the Dogan news agency.

The ruling AK Party, founded by Erdogan, has put a new constitution at the heart of its agenda after winning back a majority in a November parliamentary election.

It agreed with the main opposition CHP on Wednesday to revive efforts to forge a new constitution….

You are quick in accusing the West . Maybe you have a good and honest look in the mirror , Christianblood . You and your comments are very anti- Western and very pro-Putin . Russia is not a communist country anymore so why do you think America/Nato members are trying to encircle Russia? It is because Russia will not bow down to their corrupt Western “LGBT” atheistic secular agenda. On the other hand, Turkey who murdered close two million Armenian and other Christians some years ago is now allied with America and Nato and it goal is to murder more Christians and restore its “islamic empire” and America and the West are allied with them because of their hatred of Orthodox Russia and other Orthodox Christians of the East but I can assure you, they will not succeed in this.
Remember also, America and Nato bombed Christian Serbia and created two islamic states in the heart of Europe so Russia’s relations with Iran cannot be compared with the relations and the alliance that Jihadist-backing America/Nato has with the Turks and with the genocidal Saudi Arabia, Qatar, ISIS, MB, and many other jihadists

Dear Christianblood , what LBGT has to do with all this , I don’t see it . I think that religion and sexual preferences are PERSONAL things , and belong to the realm of privacy , and not to public life . I think that most Westerners don’t hate Orthodox Russia or the Christians of the East . There is rivalry between the big powers , and my opinion is that the United States and the European Union ( and NATO ) have no business in Russia’s back-garden . The propaganda aimed at alienating our populations from each other is not helpful . It creates fear , hate , animosity . The military adventurism of many Western administrations the last 2-3 decades has been criminal and insane . It has created a mess beyond belief and I don’t see an end to it in the near future . If you blame the administrations of many Western nations , I agree with you . But please don’t blame the Western populations for it . Freedom and democracy are dying in the West . Our “leaders” have become megalomaniacal selfserving criminal autocrats . They rule over us . Many people here in the West are unaware of this . If it was you who said many people in the West are living (in) an illusion of freedom , then you are right Christianblood . Have a nice day !

          Very well-said “Christianblood”.
I agree with your points. My understanding is that the majority of the peoples in the West and their governments have lost their sense of Christianity and they have deeper respect for islam and muslims
they also disrespect Russians and other Orthodox peoples of the East for their traditional conservatism and consider them as “uncivilized” etc.

LGBT is one of the secular postmodernist agenda being pushed by America and the West. Fortunately Russia and other Eastern Orthodox countries rejected this morally destructive agenda that the West is pushing in order to destroy Christian morality in Eastern countries like they did in the West. The West’s whole agenda is to destroy traditional Christian morality everywhere and replace with postmodernist moral relativist worldview.

Ernie, what about the US love affair with Muslim Pakistan, the Pakis can’t wait to use their nuclear Arsenal against the oldest democracy on earth- India.
It also looks like your wonderful USA is also whoring for the mullahs in Iran. How shocking is that? The USA’s idiotic foreign policy pushed the Soviets and then the Russians to make alliances with Iran.
It was Britain and the US who pushed for turkey becoming a NATO member. It’s the centuries old containment policy both countries have used against Russia which only empowers and spreads Islam throughout the world.

Christianblood is totally correct, the West does nothing when Erdogan murders his own Kurdish citizens but even a hint of Assad using chemical weapons (he didn’t) then we want to set up no fly zones in Syria along with arming and financing ISIS.
Ernie, who buys the oil ISIS exports? It’s our NATO butt buddy Turkey.

The USA needs to keep its nose out of the Middle East. Because of the stupidity of both the Democrat and Republican Administrations we now have millions of louse infested Muslims overwhelming Europe.

Those qualities are in direct opposition to the message of the Old Testament and The Quran and to some extent compattible with the New testament. This is why Turkey hasn’t been kicked out of NATO.
    http://www.strategypage.com/htmw/htatrit/articles/20151231.aspx

[quote] Two decades of cuts in defense spending are causing Germany major problems that just keep getting worse. Normally the government keeps quiet about this sort of thing. But when the government is compelled (in this case by the November 13 terror attacks in Paris) to send troops abroad the extent of the decline in combat readiness becomes apparent. The most recent example was the German decision to send some of its 198 jet fighters to join the air campaign against ISIL (al Qaeda in Iraq and the Levant) in Syria. Even many Germans were surprised when it was announced that only six of the older Tornado fighters could be sent. Questions were asked and the government admitted that all those years of budget cuts had left it with few jet fighters in shape to go overseas and fight. [quote/]

NATO is a shell that has been depending on the US for too long. To quote Lyndon Johnson, they’d rather have Turkey inside the tent pissing out than outside the tent pissing in. This was the same strategy the Roman Empire used with its barbarian problem, and it will end the same way.

The mutual admiration between Nazi leaders and Islamic leaders is telling. Their strategies and ideologies are different but both share a Supremacist and Totalitarian view of the world. The Nazis threatened the world and were defeated, Islam threatens the world and is relatively unopposed, primarily because of their disguise as a “religion” and their tactics of infiltration and deceit.

Reading “Modern Day Trojan Horse” by Sam Solomon reveals that under Islam immigration is regarded as a sin unless it is to spread Muslimism, in which case it is a duty. Hijra has 3 parts, I’dad (preparation) and Tamkeen (consolidation, establishment), followed by Jihad (destruction of the host country). This is aided by Zakat (payments to Universities and Media to ease the introduction of Sharia).

So none of this is accidental, innocent or unplanned. I view this effort as more dangerous than Nazism and much more likely to succeed in the long term. Instead of teaching our children to write out Koranic verses or wear hajibs for a day we should be educating them on the long process of Islamic expansionism, starting with Thomas Jefferson’s translation of the Koran and his successful war against the (Islamic) Barbary pirates.

    • Edwin1683 says

      Jan 1, 2016 at 4:30 pm

Excellent post, Dave. I think you are right that Islam is more likely to succeed in the long term than Nazism was. When you factor in the demographic trend (higher Muslim than non-Muslim birthrate), it is very frightening indeed. The West will have to fight hard.

      • Dave J says

        Jan 1, 2016 at 5:26 pm

The West had to fight all-out against Nazism and Imperial Japan and it was a near thing. The current situation is worse – we had our Pearl Harbor and our reaction was muddled, wrongheaded and confused (did anyone call the Japanese a nation of peaceful intent or excuse the Nazis because “its their culture”?).

Demographics are working against us and the enemy has new tools like social media, the Internet and oil money. If the demographics were confined to their home countries that would be one thing, but we invite them in, subsidize their living expenses and suppress any criticisms by our citizens. They respond by pushing for their agenda, undermining our schools, building more Mosques and having multiple wives with multiple offspring. Its the “Master Race” theory replaced by the “Greatest God/Religion” and the “Best of People”.

History repeating – or just rhyming in a very familiar pattern?

          Jan 2, 2016 at 2:43 am

Dave, you IMO correctly made the case of danger/ threat coming from an essentially totalitarian ideology. Whose followers are growing relatively hard and migrating into democratic countries. And yes, their expansionism and might are very real.

But…. a danger/ threat to what exactly? I mean, what IS OUR ideology? I think it is about our constitutions, laws, tenets, values. We too should cherish and know well our ideology, just like them.
We could even identify what our counterparts for Most Important Guiding Texts to the Quran are, to begin with; the constitution, universal human rights etc. But sometimes it looks like many of us are only ABI’s; Anything But Islam.

The most important question could be; should we be “downing” the ideology of the enemy or should we be “upping” our own? Maybe we fail in the latter. We take our ideology so for granted, we don’t cultivate it. shout it proudly from the rooftops any more.
This while IMO our ideology is so much better than theirs. With so many better results! And oh, Hitler didn’t do such a great job either, I read, not even in the years before the war! In comparison at least England and America, even in depression, performed better than Germany then.

[quote] ISTANBUL — Turkey issued a statement on Friday saying that comments by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan — in which he cited Hitler in response to a question about whether a strong presidency was possible in Turkey — had been misinterpreted.[quote/]

Oops! That got out into the West. Time for some taqiyya.

Many EX-Muslims, including a Turkish poet, had warned us that Islamic IDEOLOGY is worse than Nazism because it also condones pedophilia, polygamy, rape, misogyny, looting, slavery, mass murder because Mohamed did all those vile things.

Mufti of Jerusalem, Amin al Husseini, spent WWII in Berlin, egging Hitler on to hurry up extermination of Jews in Europe and come to exterminate Jews living among Muslims. This monster also recruited Muslims in Bosnia for 2 SS divisions to fight in the Eastern front.

in 1946 Mufti of Jerusalem was the highest Nazi criminal whom the British and french let go free untried and unpunished. He went to Cairo and then to Iraq to rile up Muslims mobs to murder Jews. Erdogan is no different except that there are still 17,000 Jews reminded in Turkey as they are too old to leave.

Nazism and Islam are two supremacist totalitarian and imperialistic ideologies which do not belong to any good society.

According to “A Safe Haven: Harry S. Truman and the Founding of Israel,” the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Mohammad Haj Amin al-Husseini, was under house arrest in Paris and because of world pressure was expected to be extradited to the Britain for prosecution for war crimes. But he simply dyed his hair and shaved off his beard and had himself smuggled to Cairo where he received the protection of King – wait for it, here it comes – Farouk!

He hung around Cairo long enough to be the puppet master behind Jamal al-Husseini, a relative and the leader of the Arab Higher Committee that opposed the UN’s progress in recognizing the new state of Israel. The Arab Higher Committee had proposed that only a small number of Jew be allowed into Palestine with ‘minority’ (i.e. ‘dhimmi’) status, and that the Grand Mufti be the head of whatever Arab statement emerged from the UN negotiations. The UN representatives then asked about the Grand Mufti’s collaboration with the Nazis during the war and Jamal al-Husseini said that the Grand Mufti had only done that “to get something out of them in case they were victorious.” That is the kind of argument that is only acceptable to an Arab. Fortunately, the UN representatives – at that particular time and place – did not accept it.

“Arab statement” should be Arab state. Wish we had an edit function.

Erdogan is idolizing a man (Hitler) who destroyed his own country (Germany). This must be especially alarming to Turks who do not wish to see their country destroyed. Based on the last election June 5, 2015), 41% of Turks want to see their country destroyed. This must be especially alarming to NATO allies pledged to defend Turkey.

Turkey needs to answer for the one million Armenians killed by them. This is genocide.

“There are later examples in various other countries,” he told reporters, according to a recording broadcast by the Dogan news agency.

Without giving another example – of course, the goal was to ride the coattails of the Holocaust, not a serious discussion about political systems, now that he has the caliphate at his doorstep.
