Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Across Europe, Muslim migrants abuse gay refugees in asylum shelters

Feb 24, 2016 9:51 am By Robert Spencer

Yet even as this is happening, woe to you — from the gay community — if you dare to point out Sharia persecution of gays. When AFDI ran ads highlighting the mistreatment of gays in Islamic law, the San Francisco City Council issued a resolution condemning not that mistreatment, but our ads. Gay advocates such as Theresa Sparks and Chris Stedman attacked us for daring to call attention to the institutionalized mistreatment of gays under Islamic law. Their gay advocacy doesn’t extend to standing up to Sharia oppression of gays, even though that oppression is far more virulent and violent than anything from “right-wing extremists” in the U.S. And you can’t blame them: given the Leftist/jihadist alliance, it’s clear that if they spoke out against Sharia mistreatment of gays, they would no longer be invited to the best parties, and might even be branded as “right-wing.” Their moral cowardice and duplicity, however, are obvious.

“Across Europe, gay refugees facing abuse in asylum shelters,” Associated Press, February 22, 2016 (thanks to David):

BERLIN – Alaa Ammar fled Syria to escape not just civil war but also the threat of persecution as a gay man. Yet when he arrived in The Netherlands last spring, he did not find the safe haven he craved.

He and four other gay travelers had to face newly arrived asylum seekers at a migrant center in the remote northern town of Ter Apel.

“After five minutes, they started looking. After 10 minutes, they started to talk. After one hour, they came to us,” said Ammar, a slender 28-year-old in tight jeans and with a diamond-like stud in each ear. “After three hours, they started fighting with us.”

Across Europe, gay, lesbian and transgender migrants say they suffer from verbal, physical and sexual abuse in refugee shelters, and some have been forced to move out. The AP found out about scores of documented cases in The Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Sweden and Finland, with the abuse usually coming from fellow refugees and sometimes security staff and translators.

The cases suggest a possible cultural clash: Many migrants are coming from conservative Muslim countries where homosexuality is taboo into European societies that are more open to it. In Syria, for example, homosexuality is illegal, and the militant Islamic State group has killed more than 30 gays in Syria and Iraq over the past two years, activists say.

A similar debate, this time over cultural attitudes toward gender, was sparked after young men assaulted and robbed hundreds of women in several German cities on New Year’s Eve. Police described the men as of North African and Arabic origin.

The number of migrants accused of gay abuse are just a tiny fraction of the hundreds of thousands of refugees streaming into Europe. However, most abuse is likely not reported because of European privacy laws and the stigma felt by gay migrants, and there is no official tally across the continent.

In Germany, the Lesbian and Gay Federation counted 106 cases of violence against homosexual and transgender refugees in the Berlin region from August through the end of January. Most of the cases came from refugee centers, and 13 included sexual abuse.

Joerg Steinert, head of the federation in Berlin-Brandenburg, said refugees have been asking gay groups for help all over the country, reluctant to approach police for fear of jeopardizing their asylum applications. Last year, the federation placed 50 people in private homes because the migrant centers were too dangerous.

“These asylum shelters are law-free areas,” he said. “When I come to our office on Monday morning, there’s usually a bunch of refugees waiting outside in the hallway who need help immediately.”…

Who will speak out for the Gay Muslims who suffer unacknowledged even by Gay associations who should be working to protect their human rights?

There are quite a few groups actually and gay associations aren’t turning a blind eye as you presume. Here are some to name a few:

“pride” is big business now. They expect cities to pick up the tab for extra policing and street cleanup, then have the unmitigated gall to demand that the Province whose streets their parade provocatively abuses, sign some loony contract giving them preferential rights.

Oh yeah, they allow “Queers for palestine” to join their parade.

I wish all members of that group could be dropped in the middle of a hamas controlled town.

          Oh, in their whitey-tighties.

We must continue to point out to clueless Americans and Europeans who have been brainwashed into believing that Islam is no worse than other religion how wrong that is. Islam is by far the worst religion in the world today and the most violent, misogynistic, and homophobic religion in the world. Libs and other defenders will point to the Crusades, the Inquisition to say that Christianity is no better, but the Crusades are defensible and they happened 700 years ago. Muslims are killing, robbing, and raping in the name of Allah today all over the world!

BERLIN – Alaa Ammar fled Syria to escape not just civil war but also the threat of persecution as a gay man. Yet when he arrived in The Netherlands last spring, he did not find the safe haven he craved.

This should come as no surprise to anyone who read Bruce Bawer’s 2006 book “While Europe Slept: How Radical Islam is Destroying the West from Within“. If my memory doesn’t fail me, he describes how he and his boyfriend were insulted and physically assaulted in Holland for walking while holding hands. That was 10+ years ago, and I doubt things got better (for gays, that is).

The cases suggest a possible cultural clash: Many migrants are coming from conservative Muslim countries where homosexuality is taboo into European societies that are more open to it.

This would be fine, except that later on they go and say:

The number of migrants accused of gay abuse are just a tiny fraction of the hundreds of thousands of refugees streaming into Europe.

My question is this: are ALL “refugees” exposed to gay people in Europe or just a “tiny fraction” of them is?

“A similar debate, this time over cultural attitudes toward gender, was sparked after young men assaulted and robbed hundreds of women in several German cities on New Year’s Eve. Police described the men as of North African and Arabic origin.”

Let’s not be disingenuous: first, it was “sexual assaults, not “assaults”. Second, robbery came as a bonus, it was not the primary motivation. Third, tthere was no debate over “cultural” (meaning religious) attitudes. There were people who tried to voice their concern about that issue, and people who branded the former as “bigots”, “racists”, “islamophobes”, etc. It was nothing short of a good, old-fashioned public shaming, except that in Germany saying anything other than “yes, we need to help these poor people” can cost you your job and your family.

“However, most abuse is likely not reported because of European privacy laws and the stigma felt by gay migrants, and there is no official tally across the continent.”

Since when does that prevent anything? I see feminists raving and shouting “9 out of 10 rapes go unreported” as if it were Gospel. And, again, this goes against the narrative they tried to push:

The number of migrants accused of gay abuse are just a tiny fraction of the hundreds of thousands of refugees streaming into Europe.

Are abuses of gay refugees committed by a tiny fraction of the “refugees” or are they vastly under-reported? Inquiring minds want to know…

When will President Obama speak out in support of gay and others marginalized by Moslem ‘culture’? He who championed ‘marriage equality’ so proudly for several years running, who everyday now decries ‘islamophobia’ is inexplicably mute regarding the rights of women, children, the infirm and LGBTQ who unhappily fall under the broader shadow of Islam.
The way that Moslems are seen by the left – as a unitary, homogeneous (Sunni) community whose members to a man actually adhere in all things to the strictures of that creed, is absolutely exceptional to general liberal ideas about minority communities. Blindness toward the marginal within the Moslem community leaves these unfortunates absolutely vulnerable to whatever violence prescribed by the lofty traditions of Moslem cultures.
My hope is that eventually there will come a point when advocates for LGBTQ persons will realize the Moslems have nothing to offer them but the sword. And my guess is that there are a lot more gay people here in the West than even all the Moslems now flooding in from their failed states.

I doesn’t help if you only denounce Islam to one another. Politicians outside the community must hear your voices.

If they don’t, they will do nothing and the persecution will continue and get worse.

Just think of those pictures of men pushed from tall buildings, THEN DO SOMETHING TO STOP IT.

Islam’s prohibition of homosexuality (and hostility towards homosexuals) need to be bette rdefined, since, obviously, sexual abuse (use) of homosexuals is permitted – without any of Islam’s condemnation of homosexuality being morally charged towards the abusers.

Time to get on the ‘gay advocates’ case. If they can’t even stand up against the mentality that pushes ‘their own’ off of rooftops, then they are NOT ‘advocates’.

I don’t know about anyone else, but there is a lot of letter writing to do.

To the hard-core Left, gays, blacks, Hispanics, the “working class” (and any other “groups”) etc. have always been mere stepping stones on the path to totalitarian power.

Note how the noisy “concern” is always abstract and rhetorical, never descending to the realm of flesh-and-blood human beings.

Nor should it be thought that having token members of these groups in power is a guarantee of real concern – check out Detroit, Baltimore, Ferguson MO etc. or indeed San Francisco where the despicable Theresa Sparks roams the halls of power.

Seems like many gay people have a death wish, just like the multicultural leftists which are infesting Europe and other western countries. Perhaps these gay people loath themselves and what to be put out of their misery. Well it sure seems that way.

I have lived in DC. I’ve had many gay friends, worked for gay people. I have seen the results when gays move into a run down neighborhood – it improves, they are not afraid to stand up to drug pushers, crime goes down and the neighborhood looks better and is safer for everyone. But this won’t work with cray cray Muslims.

But Islamic culture not only condones, but urges Muslims to have gay sex with little boys- forcibly and violently. They will even be provided in Paradise. This is certainly worse than sex between two consenting adults–far worse. I do not care what gay people do so long as no one is forced to do it–the same as heterosexual acts. Apparently in Islam there is a penalty provided for it–death. The reason this is not objected to by straight and gay people is because Muslims are feared for their barbaric ways.

In Austria last year, there was a little 10-year-old boy in a swimming pool who was so ferociously raped by a 20-year-old Iraqi migrant, that the former sustained serious injuries.

The rapist claimed that he hadn’t had sex for several months, and that it was a “sexual emergency.”

One commenter here on JW said, “How many civilized men here, since puberty, have had periods in which they were having little or no sex? I think everyone here would agree that it does happen from time to time, and that it’s a part of life, and that we don’t resort to rape or child sexual abuse.”

One might also note that the rapist could have visited an adult prostitute for a paid, consensual sexual encounter (not the most moral thing in the world, but not nearly as bad as what he did), or he could have masturbated himself and had a cold shower, etc. He deserves extremely harsh punishment.

One aspect of islam I respect; their intolerance of, and advocacy against homosexuality. Good if the gay activists turn a blind eye to the threat of islam. Let the wolf into the henhouse I say.

The most intolerant of groups, the lgbt ‘community’ will have quite a problem on their hands soon enough.
