Bishop McElroy assures us: “‘I want to underscore that it is not bigotry to fear or to combat the violence and terror which some Muslims in the world have unleashed in the name of faith,’ he explained, while acknowledging that some Christians also have attempted to use their faith to justify acts of violence.” Which Christians? He didn’t say, or at least it isn’t in this report. Have those violent Christians committed violence at any rate commensurate with the 27,000 murderous jihad attacks worldwide since 9/11? He doesn’t seem to have considered that question.
Anyway, so McElroy says it’s not bigotry to combat Islamic violence and terror. So what exactly does constitute anti-Islamic bigotry? McElroy said that “U.S. Catholics should view with repugnance the ‘repeated falsehoods’ that Islam is inherently violent, that Muslims seek to supplant the U.S. Constitution with sharia law, and that Muslim immigration threatens ‘the cultural identity of the American people.’ Such claims, he said, are strikingly reminiscent of the anti-Catholic bigotry that was once prevalent in the United States.”
So apparently if you think that Islam is inherently violent, you’re not only wrong, but you’re a bigot. In order to avoid bigotry, you have to ignore or deny the readily demonstrable fact that the Qur’an exhorts believers to violence, and that all mainstream Islamic sects and schools of Islamic jurisprudence teach that the Muslim community has a responsibility to wage war against and subjugate unbelievers.
You’re also a bigot, in McElroy’s view, of you believe that “Muslims seek to supplant the U.S. Constitution with sharia law.” If you believe that only some Muslims seek to do that, are you only a partial bigot? McElroy didn’t say. Interestingly enough, however, he was speaking here along with Sayyid M. Syeed, national director of the Islamic Society of North America’s Office for Interfaith and Community Alliances. ISNA has admitted ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas. Federal prosecutors in 2008 rejected claims that ISNA was unfairly named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas terror funding case.
The Muslim Brotherhood is dedicated in its own words, according to a captured internal document, to “a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.” That’s from “An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Brotherhood in North America,” by Mohamed Akram, May 19, 1991. ISNA is named as an allied group of the Brotherhood in that document.
So while decrying as bigotry the idea that Muslims are seeking to supplant the Constitution with Sharia, McElroy was speaking alongside a representative of an organization linked to efforts to do exactly that.
Ah, the wonderful ironies of “interfaith dialogue.”
McElroy also says you’re a bigot if you think that “Muslim immigration threatens ‘the cultural identity of the American people.'” He did not explain how the introduction into the country of massive numbers of people with no cultural or theological traditions of freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, and equality of rights for women could not end up threatening the cultural identity of the American people. He didn’t have to explain: as far as he is concerned, these propositions are dogmas to be taken on faith, not assertions to be evaluated on the basis of evidence.
And finally, McElroy said that such claims are “strikingly reminiscent of the anti-Catholic bigotry that was once prevalent in the United States.” In fact, no. No Catholics were committing acts of terrorism and justifying them by pointing to Catholic texts and teachings. There was no global Catholic terrorist movement boasting about how it would by and by destroy the United States.
The Bishop’s claims, so complacently made in the presence of a Muslim Brotherhood-linked Muslim spokesman who must have found it hard to keep a straight face as his Catholic counterpart blathered his inanities, are in reality an insult to any even marginally thoughtful person. But woe betide you in today’s Catholic Church if you don’t blindly hold to them. The ancient dogmas of the faith — no one cares about those. But dissent from the idea that Islam is a religion of peace and that to examine Islam’s texts and teachings is “bigotry,” and you have no place in today’s Church.
“Bishop challenges Catholics to combat ‘ugly tide of anti-Islamic bigotry,'” by Denis Grasska, Catholic News Service, February 22, 2016 (thanks to Tom):
SAN DIEGO (CNS) — San Diego Bishop Robert W. McElroy is challenging U.S. Catholics to take an active role in combating “the scourge of anti-Islamic prejudice.”
“We are witnessing in the United States a new nativism, which the American Catholic community must reject and label for the religious bigotry which it is,” he said in a keynote address delivered Feb. 17 in the University of San Diego’s Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice.
The evening event took place against the backdrop of the first national Catholic-Muslim dialogue, which was held Feb. 17-18 at the Catholic university.
Last May, after more than 20 years of regional dialogues with representatives of the U.S. Muslim community, the Committee on Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops established a national Catholic-Muslim dialogue.
Motivated by the call of “Nostra Aetate,” the Second Vatican Council’s declaration on the relationship between the Catholic Church and non-Catholic faiths, the dialogue seeks to foster understanding and collaboration between Catholics and Muslims. Chicago Archbishop Blase J. Cupich has been named its first Catholic co-chairman.
In addition to Bishop McElroy’s speech, the evening also featured a keynote speech by Sayyid M. Syeed, national director of the Islamic Society of North America’s Office for Interfaith and Community Alliances, who reflected on the state of Catholic-Muslim relations from the Muslim perspective.
A discussion with both men was conducted on stage by Ami Carpenter, an associate professor at the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies, with members of the audience invited to ask questions.
In his remarks, Bishop McElroy exhorted Catholics “to recognize and confront the ugly tide of anti-Islamic bigotry” in the United States, to actively seek relationships with Muslims on a personal level, to accompany the Muslim community as it wrestles with religious liberty issues, and to join with them “to witness to and fight for” a Middle East where Christian, Muslim and Jewish communities can coexist peacefully.
Bishop McElroy said U.S. Catholics should view with repugnance the “repeated falsehoods” that Islam is inherently violent, that Muslims seek to supplant the U.S. Constitution with sharia law, and that Muslim immigration threatens “the cultural identity of the American people.” Such claims, he said, are strikingly reminiscent of the anti-Catholic bigotry that was once prevalent in the United States.
However, the bishop’s denunciation of prejudice does not signify a denial of the reality of terrorism.
“I want to underscore that it is not bigotry to fear or to combat the violence and terror which some Muslims in the world have unleashed in the name of faith,” he explained, while acknowledging that some Christians also have attempted to use their faith to justify acts of violence.
Bishop McElroy also challenged U.S. Catholics to overcome the “patterns of social segregation” that lead them to associate almost exclusively with people from similar backgrounds. Because of this trend, he said, many Americans do not have a significant friendship with a single member of the Muslim faith.
“Religious bigotry thrives in an environment of social isolation,” he said. “Encounter, which leads to friendship and, thus, deeper understanding, is the most important antidote to prejudice and bigotry.”
Through such encounters, he said, Catholics may take inspiration from the rich spirituality of the Muslim people, which includes the centrality of daily prayer, a commitment to asceticism and an understanding of “the immensity and the richness” of divine mercy.
Bishop McElroy reflected on the development of Catholic doctrine on the subject of religious freedom and noted that it was once suggested that, “in a (John F.) Kennedy presidency, it would be the pope who would ultimately govern the United States.” He said Catholics must speak out against “distortions of Muslim theology and teaching on society and the state, because these distortions are just as devastating in the present day as the distortions of Catholic teaching … which were disseminated in American society in the 19th century.”
He encouraged Catholics “to walk with the Muslim community” as it reflects upon issues of religious liberty and the relationship between church and state.
Before concluding his presentation, Bishop McElroy issued one last challenge: Catholics and Muslims should work together toward a peaceful future and an end to religious conflict. Praising Islam’s respect for “the peoples of the Book” — its term for adherents of Judaism, Christianity and Islam, each of which trace their lineage back to the patriarch Abraham — the bishop acknowledged the fear and grief that has been caused by religious violence worldwide.
He called it “a terrible wound to the Christian community” that Christians in the Middle East are facing “extinction” in a region that has been there home for more than a millennium, while it is “a great tragedy for the Muslim community” to see Muslim refugees denied safe haven in Europe.
“This final challenge to the Catholic community in the United States,” Bishop McElroy said, “is in reality a challenge to both the Catholic and Muslim communities to walk in solidarity, witnessing, strategizing and advancing public policy within the U.S. and within the Muslim world to forge a secure future for all of the ‘peoples of the Book’ in the Middle East and throughout the world.”
In his own keynote presentation, Syeed noted that the first millennium was marked by positive relations between Christianity and Islam, but that changed in the millennium that followed, which included the Crusades.
“The long stretch of endless confrontation between the two faiths divided the world into a ‘house of Islam’ and a ‘house of Christianity,'” he said. “Such a division … helped to establish mutually destructive attitudes and stereotypes that shaped our respective cultures and formed our individual consciences for centuries.”
But “a new era of understanding and recognition” dawned during the latter half of the 20th century, he said. “Nostra Aetate” was instrumental in bringing an end to “the millennium of confrontation between Islam and Christianity.” This improved relationship, he said, also has coincided with the emergence of a “vibrant Muslim community” in the West.
Unfortunately, said Syeed, the Islamic State terrorist group has reintroduced “the terminology of (the) Crusades era.” It identifies Christians as “crusaders” rather “people of the Book.” The “antidote” to the Islamic State philosophy, he said, comes through robust Catholic-Muslim dialogue as well as the lived experience of Muslims in the West.
He specifically cited his own organization, the Islamic Society of North America, whose members have lived peacefully among American Christians for more than 50 years. Living in a pluralistic society has encouraged American Muslims to re-examine the original sources of Islam and to reconsider some conventions that were adopted centuries later….

Isn’t it funny how people talk about ‘anti-islamic bigotry’ when islam is itself pretty well undiluted bigotry per se. You might as well talk about ‘anti-bigotry bigotry’. Just like some of our enlightened, liberal, politically-correct friends have been heard to say that they ‘won’t tolerate intolerance’ whenever you try to poo-poo some of their little ‘gems of wisdom’. Not that you could accuse our islamic friends of being ‘enlightened’ or ‘liberal’, because it would be unislamic and they just won’t tolerate it! In the same way that islam won’t tolerate people not tolerating it because they don’t like it not tolerating their different point of view. Because these kuffar are bigots, of course. You have to be a bigot not to tolerate not being tolerated. And, of course, muslims and islam won’t tolerate being called bigots because how can you be a bigot when you are ipso facto ‘right’ and everyone else on the planet is ipso facto ‘wrong’. It’s so intolerable!
ECAW says
Think you lost me somewhere along the way there Jayell. Karl Popper has some interesting things to say on the subject:
“Unlimited tolerance must lead to the disappearance of tolerance. If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them. — In this formulation, I do not imply, for instance, that we should always suppress the utterance of intolerant philosophies; as long as we can counter them by rational argument and keep them in check by public opinion, suppression would certainly be unwise. But we should claim the right to suppress them if necessary even by force; for it may easily turn out that they are not prepared to meet us on the level of rational argument, but begin by denouncing all argument; they may forbid their followers to listen to rational argument, because it is deceptive, and teach them to answer arguments by the use of their fists or pistols. We should therefore claim, in the name of tolerance, the right not to tolerate the intolerant.”
mortimer says
ECAW quotes Popper: “…claim, in the name of tolerance, the right not to tolerate the intolerant.”
Though seemingly paradoxical, tolerance must be defended. Tolerance is weak, because it depends on critical thought and Golden Rule.
Islam refuses critical thought and has no Golden Rule. Indeed, many verses in the Koran and many hadiths and many canonical commentaries and parts of Sharia law intentionally oppose the Golden Rule and intentionally oppose critical thought.
Muslims must not use critical thought and must not engage in dialogue in order not to listen to shaytans. The faith of Muslims is authoritarian, obscurantist group-think, rather than fact-based conclusions rationally achieved. Once the historicity and ethics of Islam are examined, there is little left to believe in. The mullah Sayyid M. Syeed appears to claim that Muslims from Mohammed to the 20th century misunderstood Islam and that only geniuses such as he have discovered what it REALLY, TRULY means!
This is surely an earth-shattering break-through! I’m sure Al Azhar University will not accept Syeed’s conclusions that all Muslims up to now (including Al Azhar) were wrong…and that Muslims living in pluralistic America have finally ‘got it right’.
mortimer says
jayell wrote: “islam is itself … undiluted bigotry”
More than 60% of the Koran is the rant that Allah hates kafirs and wants Muslims to hurt them.
How much more bigoted can it get? The jihad doctrine, the kafir doctrine, the taqiyya doctrine, the Islamic apartheid doctrine (al Walaa wal Baraa), and the Arab superiority doctrine are all pure bigotry.
The fact that most Muslims do not practice Islam to its fullest extent only means they are weak-kneed and do not fully believe this devilish savagery could be true. They are ‘hypocrites’ according to the words of Mohammed.
The Salafism of ISIS is no different from the Salafism of Saudi Arabia and of Al Azhar University…just more sure of itself.

Pain so intense that it could be lessened only by massive doses of opiates. Before she died, she confided to her doctors that her greatest fear was that her children would see her suffering and then loose their Faith.

Yes growing up in a Catholic family and school it was always emphasised that the Jews killed Jesus not the Romans who were just trying to avoid trouble breaking out and didn’t really want to kill him.
I don’t know exactly when the Gospels were actually written but could this have been an attempt to make Christianity more attractive to the Romans by not portraying them as the bad guys.?? I mean how could they join a religion the son of whose God they killed??
There are some similarities between Catholicism and Islamism but Catholicism has been able to self reform itself to be more acceptable to the modern world.Nothing would convince me of either faith now because frankly all religious faiths are invented, non rational, self deceptions long past their sell by date??

When MohD lived assuming he actually did, the RC church had no presence in the Arabian peninsula, it was only in Egypt and Constantinople. So how could the RC church create Islam and for what purpose? Does anybody think the RC church woulod create another religion which would be a threat to its own hegemony The claim is completely fatuous
Guest says
The RCC made Islam? Well, not quite. See Robert Spencer’s “Did Muhammad Exist?”. He makes it sufficiently clear that Islam developed out of one or more sects of Abrahamic theism which were not Trinitarian, e.g. a sect of heterodox Christianity which did not accept the notion that Jesus is a god.
It could be true also that some Arabs were persuaded to believe in the god of the Hebrews, but without also being Christians. At any rate, it was in some such condition of Abrahamic faith which the Arabs initiated their imperialist project. Only decades later did the imperialists became Muhammadists with their Koran as we known them today.
Bear in mind, now, how Judaism relegates Arabs to second-class status among Semites. In Judaism, (and probably in Samaritanism*, too), the Arab is a Hagarite, i.e. an Ishmaelist, with his own tribes. Of course, no narcissist among the Arabs—esp. a successful imperialist—is likely to tolerate this second class status indefintely without seeking relief in some other sectarianism.
So, some Arabs obtain relief by developing Muhammadism during the period ca. 690-800. Since the Arabs need a final solution to their clean break from Judaism, the Koran is saturated with enmity and malice toward the Jews. After all, the self-respecting Muhammadist can’t let the Jews hang around forever sowing doubt with their comparatively sophisticated Torah and its complex narrative conerning Arabian inferiority.
Now we can now explain Islam’s radical Jew-hatred, and we can understand how Islam was not merely inspired by Judaism or Christianity but a developed soofspring of one or both of these. As Spencer argues persuasively, we don’t need to believe in some ambitious merchant who cherry-picked from Judaism what he liked. And, to address your claim about the RCC, we don’t need to believe that Islam was “created” by the RCC.
You need to recall the Pentarcy of five churches, i.e. the churches of…
Jerusalem
Alexandria
Rome
Antioch
Constantinople
If the RCC “created” Islam, than it had help from the other episcopal sees of JARAC. Says Wikipedia: “The pentarchy was first tangibly expressed in the laws of Emperor Justinian I (527–565), particularly in Novella 131.”
Now, it appears that Spencer has backed away from his main thesis in “Did Mumhammad Exist?”, just as Patricia Crone or Michael Cook backed away from “Hagarism”. Don’t let this possibility deter you. The book should be on your reading list, and I encourage you to spend some quality time with it.
*The Samaritan Torah is very similar to the Judaean version.

The RC Church has been responsible for many atrocities throughout its existence, most notably the Inquisition, the Crusade against the Cathars and the child rape scandal in America. Now, the Catholic Church has accepted dhimmi status to Islam! This Church is dominated by wussy left wingers who will not tell the truth about Islam being the most violent and misogynistic in the world today. Time for good Catholics to leave their Church and find a church that will oppose the Islamic Jihad against the West. Franklin Graham is one Christian leader who had the guts to call for an end to Muslim immigration into the West.
Vote for Trump or Cruz in the primaries and vote for the GOP candidate who will tell the truth about Islamic terrorism and secure our borders.

“The Catharist system was a simultaneous attack on the Catholic Church and the then existing State. The Church was directly assailed in its doctrine and hierarchy. The denial of the value of oaths, and the suppression, at least in theory, of the right to punish, undermined the basis of the Christian State. But the worst danger was that the triumph of the heretical principles meant the extinction of the human race. This annihilation was the direct consequence of the Catharist doctrine, that all intercourse between the sexes ought to be avoided and that suicide or the Endura, under certain circumstances, is not only lawful but commendable.”
It’s a good thing the Catholic Church prevailed against this heresy or you probably wouldn’t exist right now.

I agree, the Roman Catholic Church saved Europe from Islam multiple times, from Charles Martel, to John Sobiesky, to the Holy League. I never apologize to anyone for the Crusades. They were fought for love of neighbor and Christian brother and required huge personal and financial sacrifice of those who went on crusade. They were a long over due response to Jihad. So why did the pope apologize for the crusades. And why are they so invested in dialogue with what can only be described as a diametrically opposed religious system that denies every orthodox tenant of the Christian faith.

Tell me the difference between what the traditional Catholics are doing as far as the official post Vatican II church. How is it different than what early protestants did. They said oh the church is corrupt and we are the true church. Aren’t traditional Catholics doing the same thing? If not explain to me what is different. Do you have the authority to brake away and do what you like and accuse the rest of the church of heresy. This is another reason I reconsidered converting to Catholicism even though I found the historical argument compelling. But the Catholic church seems as sectarian as the protestants. How can one know who is right?

2 The same Catholic elite who for 1700 years have been incited their flock to hate ALL Jews for the death of Jesus although the Jews were never a threat to Christianity or Europeans in any way shape or form while the Muslims are. They have a common denominator with Islam : Jew Hatred!

John Stefan Obeda says
How can such things be IQ.? I agree with you, but why are things the way they are in the world? One big reason is that man fell into sin and in deceptions and in falsehoods. Man refuses to accept God’s truths which He has given us in His Word. God gives the truth to our first parents: Do not eat from that particular tree, but they listen to the father of lies and of murder, the devil. So we now die. God the Father gives the truth from heaven: “This is my beloved Son; hear ye Him”. And man insists on listening to the father of lies the devil and to the devil’s faithful servant, Muhammad. He Who died and rose from the dead says that He is the only way to the heavenly Father, but the priest and the R.C. Church in its documents of years ago declare that our God is also allah. Here’s a quote from “Lumen Gentium” of 1964: “But the plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Moslems: these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind’s judge on the last day.” . Man even some Christian church leaders and people simply refuse to believe what God in His Word teaches. And so man suffers. It’s very sad.

How very cunning. Dar al Harb (The House of War) becomes the House of Christianity, and contention was the creation of those nasty Crusaders. The Bishop swallows it all hook, line, and sinker; then instructs his congregation to accept it on his authority. I would consider him an ignorant tool but I think smug narcissism coupled with a love of power is the real motivation (which is pretty much the definition of Hubris). When I think of the blood his, and his fellow members of the master class, preening is causing to be spilled daily I want to weep.
This is why I no longer belong to a religious Corporation. They are too easily corrupted by morally weak leadership.
Anthony says
@Tom, I understand with your frustration with religious corporation, as I am, but I try to take a different approach…church is like golf clubs, and they have different rules and regulations that you have to adhere to, so we are more or less church-goer, but to be qualified to be Christian we need to understand what Jesus said in Gospel of John that to be his disciple we have to live according to His teachings NOT according to those bishops, etc.GBU

The San Diego Bishop appears to just be another parasite, well-heeled at the expense of the believers; much like his Islamic cleric counterparts. He is in the gravy-train portion of his “work” life and selling the current Pope’s line to ensure his own favor and extend the run. These guys preach against personal sin and then sell out the entire church to Islam.
I remember a line from Jesus: “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

Bishop McElroy presents himself as an authority on Islam, but is he truly one? Or is his claim to have superior knowledge HUMBUG? Did the bishop read Islam’s foundational texts? The Koran? The Sira? The hadiths? Manuals of Sharia law? Islam’s canonical commentaries? If not, in what way does he think he is an expert?
Can Bishop McElroy explain the main doctrines of political Islam: 1) the jihad doctrine 2) the taqiyya doctrine 3) the kafir doctrine 4) Islam’s apartheid doctrine called Al Walaa wal Baraa 5) the misogyny doctrine 6) the vigilante doctrine? If Bishop McElroy cannot explain political Islam’s beliefs and methods, then he is not a scholar, but a gullible dupe of hot, steaming piles of taqiyya.
Is Bishop McElroy a Pollyanna?

Bishop McElroy cannot even explain the Catholic faith, let alone other’s, because he does not hold the Catholic faith, he holds to the false religion created by the proud men at Vatican II in the 1960’s. He is a modernist heretic who does not know, teach or follow the Catholic faith.

Egregiously false.
Muslims burst out of Arabia with plans for the physical conquest of the world. No one invaded or wanted to invade Arabia, an empty wasteland. Thousands of battles where Muslims led the attack against Christians and Zoroastrians in the Middle East, North Africa and right into central Europe occurred until the 20th century when the caliphate of Constantinople was finally defeated.
The prime directive of Islam is to forcibly conquer and convert the world.
These two men are both insulting our intelligence, but I do not understand why Bishop McElroy is doing so.

Bishop McElroy twists everything around. It appears his speech was written for him by Syeed I think.
“Praising Islam’s respect for “the peoples of the Book”” – what respect? They were permitted to remain alive, as long as they paid the jizya and felt themselves subdued. Bishop McElroy should know this, it is a fundamental historical fact and a clear edit of Islam. That is not respect, folks. Respect begin on a level of equality, not where one party is the “best of people” and the other is “subdued” – or subjugated to use a modern word.
“Bishop McElroy also challenged U.S.
Isn’t that exactly what Muslims do? They refuse to integrate and live in their own little ghettos. In fact, this is reinforced by their religion, which says Muslims cannot be friends with anyone but other Muslims. Meanwhile, there is no such edit for Christians. To my knowledge, Catholics thoroughly mix and blend with society at large. There is just no comparison. In any group I have ever belonged to, if a pole was ever taken, one would discover there was the normal demographic mixture of Catholics and protestants.
Bishop McElroy’s speech was very cleverly constructed to ingratiate himself with the Muslim community. He is being a good little dimhi, and an example for all who aspire to such status.

Sayyid M. Syeed claims that Muslims living in North American pluralism are re-evaluating their religion. That seems to be wrong because every time Muslim are polled in surveys, they claim that Sharia law should take precedence over the US constitution and replace it.

The Catholic Bishops job is to convert Moslems to the Catholic faith, so the good bishop should get off his fat ass and do his job…I seem to remember Jesus saying something like “baptize all nations” and “teach them all I have taught you.” . If he cannot perform that task, he should resign immediately so that someone who actually believes in Jesus Christ can fill the spot.

Robert, we can understand the Bishops remarks in light of the Popes November 2013 Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Gaudium published by the Vatican. Paragraph 253 reads” Faced with disconcerting episodes of violent fundamentalism, our respect for true followers of Islam should lead us to avoid hateful generalisations, FOR AUTHENTIC iSLAM AND THE PROPER READING OF THE kORAN ARE OPPOSED TO EVERY FORM OF VIOLENCE. My emphasis. This is a result of an “interfaith dialogue” between the Pope and Islam. Of course, all of the Popes subordinates will follow the Popes dictates. As the Pope is now friends with Islam he must support this agreement even while he throws his flock under the bus. So we get nonsense from he above Bishop. The interfaith dialogues entered into between Christianity and Islam are bridges to nowhere. They only aid Islam and bring the Christians into dhimitude.

I think if Americans really want to make a change for the better, and actually force Islamicists and their apologists to actual compromise on just a SINGLE point (as these ecumenical affairs of interfaith relations can be summed up as “Muslim: “We demand this!”….”Non-muslim: “OK! Right away. Sorry for being a bigot!”), ask the main US imams if they believe that apostates should be put to death. If they say it should be permitted; then the dialogue ends there we stop forcing ourselves to respect them. If they say it really is not allowed, have them write a public open letter to the great Islamic theologians at al-Anzar, Mecca, Riyadh, and Qom that proposes that their great religion clarify and modernize that koranic commandment; if they balk, end all talks.

ISLAM OF BA-ILAH INSHALLAH VERSUS ISLAMS OF LA-ILAHS OF MULLAHS INSHMULLAHS.
Hi Brethren,
Do you know that Allah is from Al Ilah? Ilah stands for our tribal or Kabeela natural fore Father and these Ilahs were displayed at Kabah, the Temple of Adam or Shiv. Mohammed Sahib said, this is not the time for the tribal Ilah worship but of the worship of Al-Ilah or Allah, our Supernatural spiritual Father of souls called Abba. So, if Allah is our Supernatural Father, then we are his supernatural spiritual sons whether in nature you may be a male or a female.
Now, the moral laws or Shariah apply to our physical natural bodies that are male and female and our physical body eats natural foods such as meat, vegetables, etc. whilst our supernatural self-soul needs supernatural Food, which is His Word or Kalaam or Ilahi Baani also called Dhur ki Baani Brewed through logical reasoning called Logoi. This is received by the grace of Allah by those who have open-mind or Nafs called twice-born. Twice-born people being of spirit or Nafsaani, they have the choice to use Nafs for the worship of Allah through Truth and holy spirit that seeks welfare of people and getting oneself sealed to serve Allah only or the person can misuse the spirit or Nafs in evil ways and become a hypocrite Nafsaani man to cheat people by seeking his own praises. Such evil spirited Nafsaani people are called Munaafiq or hypocrites and they dominate the world in politics.
So, as in the natural tribal father ilah, we have sons and daughters and so in our Supernatural Father, we are His supernatural Sons when we represent Him through the merciful deeds and His Virgin Daughters when we Preach Gospel that is fed to us by His Escort Holy Spirit, our Virgin Mother of Wisdom. His Word is received by the Grace of our Father Allah and through His Word, we come to know Allah.
Thus, our natural physical body is like the natural Moon that is not the Source of Light but just a Pot or earth as our physical bodies are whilst our supernatural self-soul is of Allah that is the Very Source of Light within our natural tribal Pots, the source of tribal Heeya or Sharm or half Eemaan. That is, no tribal identity or Ba-ilah, no Heeya or the threshold of Eemaan. Hajj rites are there to make the people sons of their natural tribal fathers and it used to be for the boys of 12 to 16 years old that kept Kabah to their right hand whilst going around for seven times. The present Islam being of the Mullahs, moon and star, who is a son of Satan, Al-Djmar Al-Aksa, which is given seven stones on the first day of Hajj, if he imposes his own views, they are called Fatwas or INSHMULLAHS, and each Mullah creates his own Mountain of fanatics by creating the tribeless, la-ilah, fanatic Devils – John 8v44 – with no tribal surnames or tribal Heeya. No woman could be a Mullah as she does not represent Adam in his tribal seed that men represent but a woman could be a Saint or Arif, the son of Allah. Arifs suffered at the hands of these Satanic Mullahs and they tortured them brutally such as taking their skin off whilst still they were alive (Shah Shams Tabrez).
So, our Supernatural Father Allah is the very Source of Light represented by “Sun” and being Spirit, no moral laws could be applied to His Sons, the Arifs. Allah is NOOR and this is reflected by His Sons through these Four; one quantity Heeya derived from your tribal seed or Ba-Ilah and three Qualities, which are truthful and not liars, contented and not greedy and the last one is Merciful and not cruel. Through these Four, you can identify whether a person is a merciful son of Allah based upon Samaritan people like, who went by their hearts, the Seat of Allah and did His Will, INSHALLAH or the cruel sons of Al-Djmar Al-Aksa, the Moon and Star Islam of Mullahs (Shia, Sunni, etc. sects), who established their own INSHMULLAH ISLAMS. Inshallah Islam is Stable and you enjoy the Perfect Peace of Mind whilst the INSHMULLAH ISLAMS OF SHIA, SUNNI, etc. will Fall into the Hell. Thus, to enter into the Real Islam of Allah, Sun, you must have tribal Heeya or conscience by establishing your tribal identity through Ba-Ilah or be a son of Man and this is the end product of Hajj rituals, “Say Islama, Eemaan (Kacha, the morality or Heeya or Pukka, contentment and mercy) hath not entered your heart yet”. These Mohammedans know that Kabah is the Temple of Adam or of Shua or Shiva, the Pots that has nothing to do with Allah. That is, why the Mosque in Kabah that is meant for Mussallmaans, is called Al-Masjid Al-Haraam. That is, highly forbidden to boys who are supposed to perform the Hajj rites. But today, they call this Mosque as highly Mukadiss or Holy. That is up to them, the Mohammedans of La-Ilah INSHMULLAH ISLAMS that keep Kabah to their left hand whilst going around seven times in that bye bye to our tribal natural fathers.
Those 144000 that would be saved are all mentioned by their tribes and not Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, etc. That is, this planet earth is for the habitation of the natural tribal people of Yahweh, Khudah or Brahma.

Bishop McElroy denies that Islam is inherently violent. The jihad doctrine, the honor killing doctrine and the vigilante doctrine are normative Islam taught at Al Azhar University. There is no question whatsoever that Islam is inherently violent.
If anyone takes ‘honor’ from Islam, from a Muslim family or from a Muslim patriarch, an honor killing must occur to restore the lost ‘honor’ and fear of the Islamic authority. Murders may take place through vigilantism.
In Islam, ‘honor’ is considered worth killing for. In the past, Europeans fought duels over ‘honor’, but Muslims go a step further by committing MURDER for the sake of lost honor.
Carolyne says
No one living today crucified Christ. What nonsense. It appears that some believe that Christ’s dying forgives their sins retroactively. How could that be? Some sins are worse than others and to just say ok, I forgive you for what you do in the future is kind of ridiculous. Doesn’t that give anyone carte blanche to just do any abhorrent thing in the knowledge that you were forgiven two thousand years ago for whatever you might want to do today or tomorrow?
However, you believe what you want and I will do the same. Just don’t try to force any of it on me and I will not try to force you either. That’s the biggest problem I have with religion–it is the Muslims who do it most. The Church stopped doing it a couple of centuries ago,
But I do find that most Christians, and especially Roman Catholic clergy, are extremely naïve when it comes to Islam and its tenets, basically to wipe our Christianity.
andrew sapia says
I don’t understand why the Catholic Church is so sympathetic to Islam and many Catholic answer web sites are far less generous to Orthodox and Protestant Christians. Cults aside most Protestants still adhere to the creeds. They accept the Trinity, the virgin birth, the crucifixion and resurrection and you will find far less sympathy toward other Christians than with Islam which is diametrically apposed to all of these doctrines which are essential to orthodoxy. I am protestant but have strong Catholic sympathies and have even considered converting due to all the craziness that goes on in evangelicalism and the liberal protestant churches. The argument from history is very strong for me. The protestants have never offered an adequate explanation to me as to where were all the Christians prior to the Reformation. I’ve never gotten a good answer to this question. But if the Catholic church can be this wrong on Islam it makes it impossible for me to move closer to Catholicism.

John Stefan Obeda says
Anthony, the Christian church consists of the total number of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, i.e. that He is their God and their Saviour from their sins Who by His life and suffering and death atoned for their sins. To be a member of this church (which is, therefore, invisible, since no one can look into another man’s heart) we can be a member of a certain denomination or even not, but it is best to be a member of a denomination where the Word of God is taught in its truth and purity. Therefore, the church truly existed even before the Reformation and even during the days of the Old Testament. See Isaiah chapter 53..
MIchael Poulin says
The Catholic Church is going through a crisis of faith – a heresy called “Modernism”, which is a heresy held by most of the bishops, cardinals and the Pope right now. It puts man before God basically. So s much as I’d like to have you convert, there really are few Catholic Churches around where you will learn the true Catholic faith, which has been adulterated by the Vatican II humanist council of the 1960’s. The Catholic Church has yet to recover from this major heresy. The only people keeping the faith are the Traditional Catholics such as the priests of the Society of St Pius X and others who reject the innovations of Vatican II as counter to the traditions handed down from past centuries. I would recommend “Crossing the Tiber” by Steve Ray as a place to begin to explore Catholicism and answer some questions-as he was a former protestant. Also “Where is that in the Bible”by Patrick Madrid” gives some beginner’s biblical background to why Catholics believe as they do. Then find a priest who celebrates the Tridentine “Latin” Mass
MIchael Poulin says
For those who hold the Church is “invisible” you have to ask : if the Church is an invisible church, then how can anyone know where to go for authoritative teaching and correction? When members of the invisible church hold contrary opinions, how can it be known who is correct unless the Church and her teaching authority are visible and clearly displayed?
You do not put a light under a basket my friend.
MIchael Poulin says
John Chapter 20: 21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” 22 When he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”
See I interpret this Bible passage as Jesus giving his apostles the authority to forgive sins in his name, which I take as one basis for the Catholic sacrament of Confession. A protestant would disagree with me. So we have two people and one Bible passage. Who is right in their interpretation? Or who is wrong? We can’t both be right but we could both be wrong. Questions like this are why you need a visible Church that has a recognizable traceable pedigree, with sacred traditions objectively handed down from the time of Christ. Otherwise you have totally subjective contrary opinions shaking like reeds in the wind.
John Stefan Obeda says
Michael, I believe that it ought to be acceptable to use the term “invisible” for the Christian Church, the Bride of Christ, if used in the following manner: we humans cannot look into the heart of a person to see if he truly trusts in Jesus to be his God and Saviour, etc. This means that someone may be a member of a Christian congregation, but not really believe that Jesus is God and Saviour and not believe in the Trinity, etc. But, of course, we need the visible church and to be a member of a Christian church that preaches and teaches God’s Word in its truth and purity and, of course, to also be baptized and to attend the Lord’s Supper and faithfully attend worship services. And, by the way, I a Lutheran agree wholeheartedly with Jesus, thank God, that He gives the authority to the pastors to forgive the sins of penitent sinners and to withhold forgiveness of those who insist on living in some sin and refuse to repent and change their ways.. That too is a very good reason to be a member of such a visible church.

I’m all for that. But has anyone noticed that it is Muslims mass-butchering Jews and Christians? It certainly isn’t any violence from Catholics there.
More:
In his own keynote presentation, Syeed noted that the first millennium was marked by positive relations between Christianity and Islam, but that changed in the millennium that followed, which included the Crusades.
………………………..
An utter, bald-faced lie. Syeed was just counting on the ignorance of his audience–and not in vain, it appears. Islam had been oppressing and slaughtering Christians from the beginning. And the Crusades were a *response* to Muslim violence against Christian pilgrims to the Holy Land.
More:
“The long stretch of endless confrontation between the two faiths divided the world into a ‘house of Islam’ and a ‘house of Christianity,’” he said. “Such a division … helped to establish mutually destructive attitudes and stereotypes that shaped our respective cultures and formed our individual consciences for centuries.”
………………………..
More blatant lies. The “house of Islam” and “house of Christianity” is a slight skewing of the core Islamic concept of Dar-al-Islam–the “house of Islam”, and Dar-al-Harb–the “house of war”, which is any land not yet conquered by Muslims, whether they are Christian or not.

These bridge building projects only go one way, to invite Christians to Islam. There is never an Christian invited to a mosque reciting the creed. They would immediately be tossed out if they made it out. Yet the Imam can come into the church and recite the Shahda or the first chapter of the Quran while Christians pray along with a prayer that curses them (those who have gone astray) and the Jews (those who have earned God’s wrath). It’s pathetic. If it were truly an ecumenical bridge then the Imam would invite the Christian and recite the Nicene Creed along with the Christians. The Shahada is the equivalent of the creed and this is why parents need to object to this when it is put forward in their children’s curriculum as simply learning about Islam as history. What they are doing is bringing in and upholding the Islamic creeds and at the same time whitewashing the brutality of Islamic history while highlighting and criticizing the Christian Crusades. They should both be taught as history without whitewashing or making judgments about them.
