Hellfire missiles bound for Portland, Oregon discovered on passenger flight from Lebanon

Mar 13, 2016 6:52 pm By Robert Spencer

Nothing to be concerned about, you greasy Islamophobe. Don’t you always carry a couple of Hellfire missiles onto planes? Meanwhile, the Lebanese origin of the flight is interesting. Could these missiles have something to do with Iran’s client Hizballah and the Islamic Republic’s new sanctions largesse?

Air Serbia

“Portland-Bound Combat Missiles Found On Passenger Flight,” Associated Press, March 13, 2016:

Serbia’s authorities are investigating reports that a cargo package bound for the U.S. containing two missiles with explosive warheads was found on a passenger flight from Lebanon to Serbia.

N1 television said the package with two guided armor-piercing missiles was discovered Saturday by a sniffer dog after an Air Serbia flight from Beirut landed at Belgrade airport.

Serbian media say documents listed the final destination for the AGM-114 Hellfire missiles as Portland, Oregon. The American-made projectiles can be fired from air, sea or ground platforms.

N1 reported Sunday that Air Serbia is helping in the investigation. The Serbian flag carrier says “security and safety are the main priorities for Air Serbia.”

So we know where they were going, based on “documents”, but not to whom they were being delivered? Why didn’t authorities allow the packages to go through and just track them? Something’s wrong with this story.

    • Myxlplik says

      Mar 14, 2016 at 10:27 am

Yeah, they weren’t actually headed to the U.S., they were heading to the Albanian terror machine, which has been ramping up as of late.

      • Geofraz says

        Mar 14, 2016 at 10:53 am

Then why put them on an American bound commercial aircraft where security would be much more intensive? They wouldn’t. You don’t know what you’re talking about.

        • Myxlplik says

          Mar 14, 2016 at 1:26 pm

They had people working on the inside at both locations in Serbia, and Lebanon.

          It’s not complicated.

          Geo,

It could be something more routine, but it’s weird.

    • Sandra Lee Smith says

      Mar 14, 2016 at 9:12 pm

YEAH there is! Explosives are NOT permitted on passenger flights, by law! So whomever put them aboard is in big trouble!

  2. John Johness says

    Mar 13, 2016 at 7:15 pm

mmmmm – why didn’t they substitute them and let them through? They could have followed the whole process, pick up. meetings, use….
Strange action and even stranger to report it.

It is the same with the Jihadis travelling OS. let them go, they would be easy to track.

    • Myxlplik says

      Mar 14, 2016 at 10:47 am

Yeah, the Serbs had already arrested the cheap Albanian labor (read Muslim terrorists) working at the airport in Serbia.

    …………………..

Thank you, Serbia. You probably saved a lot of innocent lives.

There have been many attempts by Muslims to smuggle weapons of mass destruction into the US. How long before they succeed?

“Thank you, Serbia. You probably saved a lot of innocent lives.”

This is the same Serbia that was bombed to rubble by NATO forces, for trying to defending themselves from relentless attacks by Muslims, intent on taking over and Islamising their country.

No criticism of you or your post GI. Just making an observation.

        Hi Charlie,

That was a fact ie the Serbia ‘misadventure’. Pam Geller never forgets that monumental blunder of Bill Clinton. whenever writing on Bosnian or Kosovo jihadis.

Now one has to deal with ‘ White Jihadis’ too, a difficult issue for western security agencies.

Serbia deals with this kind of crap daily, and they are excellent in their thoroughness, because ,they have to be-they’re surrounded by muslims.Alal Vera Srbija!!(good job serbia) The U.S.backed Albania and Bosnia ,because Serbs had ties to Moscow, during the war.Washington and the media are incapable of being truthful about muslims, because of this p.c., apologist ,weakling stance.I would be called Islamophobic if I point out ,for example, inbreeding is so serious in muslim populations, that birth defects are causing Great Britains Health board serious budget and financial trouble.Sad when they represent only 1%of the population, and 85%of serious birth defects are attributed to themThis is not propaganda. That isnt even an Islamic country, and its the tip of the genetic iceburg. These were mostly Pakistanis.

  4. John Nilson says

    Mar 13, 2016 at 7:40 pm

We can be sure the Serbs asked the U.S. if they want to replace the warheads with duds and then let the shipment through so we could arrest whoever picked them up.

There’s no doubt the U.S. declined. Had we arrested the Muslim recipients old Barry Obama would have looked bad.

    • Kurt says

      Mar 13, 2016 at 11:04 pm

I’m sure the U.S. has investigated the recipients. My guess the arrests will be made or have been, just not newsworthy since the suspects didn’t do anything “spectacular”.

Let me see if I can jog everybody’s memory.

Remember, years ago, all the reports of Texas airports having trouble because “some people” were shining laser lights into pilot’s eyes on flights taking off and landing?

Remember how the MSM never connected the dots like we did. The connection was that muslims were trying to kill Bush Senior and “W.”

This Hellfire missile story is just another chapter in the “hellish” story of islam.

    • Sandra Lee Smith says

      Mar 14, 2016 at 9:18 pm

There was an episode of the laser shining in at an AFB near Midlands in the UK just last week; a USAF pilot safely landed after being temporarily blinded by a laser. That’s not limited to TX.

  7. Bezelel says

This is the shipment we found out about. I doubt they’ve caught 100%.

  8. Westman says

    Mar 14, 2016 at 12:23 am

This was probably just some collectors of old war relics topping off their collection; perhaps named Ahmed, Muhammet, or Aku Bakr.

There is hardly a commercial airport in the US that doesn’t have exposure at one or the other end of where runways cross over freeways or commercial and residential real estate. Even Marine One would be vulnerabe to this kind of weapon. This incident of transporting missiles on a commercial transport should raise the question of where an attack is being planned, not if.

Four airplanes were involved in 9/11 on the same day. How many destinations received Hellfire missiles on the same day as those slated to arrive in Portland?

    • gravenimage says

      Mar 14, 2016 at 12:54 am

Good questions. This may not have been an isolated incident.

    • Westman says

      Mar 14, 2016 at 10:40 am

Update: The Hellfire missiles were erroneously reported to have explosive warheads but were actually training missiles, without explosives, bring returned to the manufacturer from the Lebanese Army.

Hmmm. Could one assume the army in the “stable” country of Lebanon has complete US Hellfire missiles?

Did these “training” missiles have functioning propellant, and if so, why were they allowed onto a commercial passenger flight? Does anyone remember ValuJet Flight 592 crashing in the Everglades due to prohibited cargo?

      • Sandra Lee Smith says

        Mar 14, 2016 at 9:21 pm

I sure do, and the NTSB and other changes in regs regarding explosives on passenger flights as a result!

We know these mohammid’s arn’t that bright. so where did they get the technology and knowledge to fire, aim and hit something with these missiles …..

And how did “smugglers” get their hands on TWO LIVE Hellfires in the first place ???

I am of course assuming hellfire missile’s anr’t like the common MANPADS, but I would’nt put it passed a mohammid to stand under one and try to let it off,,, at an airport,,

Seriously,, would the ancipated result be worth the transport hassle, there’s something weird about this ???

  11. Benton Marder says

    Mar 14, 2016 at 3:51 am

These were US-made Hellfire missiles, live ones. Now, how did these missiles get to the East and who were they supposed to go to? Is it possible, horrible to think it, that these missiles were part of the arms ship, ents that went through Benghazi a few years ago? Do these missiles have Obama/Clinton pawmaeks all over them? We all know the saying, ‘What goes around comes around’, don’t we?

  12. Myxlplik says

    Mar 14, 2016 at 9:28 am

My suggestion is never give any Muslim anything.

Even if you must give them some food, because, let’s just say, they’ve been on a murder and rape rampage and have destroyed the infrastructure of their country. I’m say best not to give them anything other than Bibles, but if you must give them nothing more dangerous than this.

      Mar 14, 2016 at 10:20 am

They were probably going to Jihadists intent on causing problems for Serbia, Kosovo, or Macedonia. I’ve read that Northern Kosovo has attained a bit of autonomy for Serbs living there, angering the Muslims of course. In other news I’ve been reading that the Albanian terror machine is ramping up again in Macedonia, and with all of these new Islamic recruits flooding in with connections to the Middle East, it looks like trouble.

Oh, how awful a picture you paint. Thank you for the context, dismal though it be. I wonder how Portland figured in, if at all. Er…I live in Portland! We had a plot to set off bombs ala Boston Marathon some years ago at the lighting of the downtown Christmas tree. As you describe it, final destination of these weapons would be aborted. Have I got that right? I appreciate your response.

        Cheers!

It’s only speculation on my part, but the flights final destination was Portland, but it had known layovers. The missiles were labeled as a misdirection. Serbian authorities sniffed it out, and nabbed the folks who were supposed to pick them up, which answers the question as to why the missiles weren’t just allowed through, the culprits were already nabbed.

Interesting that it was bound for Portland, Oregon…..I wonder, to whom was this package addressed. I bet he is now long gone, or hopefully arrested. This is bad news….just wonder what else is tucked away. I just wish that after 9/11 I had never heard of Ob, we may have still had a chance. It is a secret, I should not know, but I would love to know how they found this item.
