Jihad Watch

Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

How many American politicians do the Saudis own?

Mar 31, 2016 6:58 pm By Robert Spencer

This explains a great deal about U.S. foreign — and domestic — policy. In also wonder the same thing about mainstream media outlets, with their determination to ignore or downplay the jihad threat, and their fixation on “Islamophobia” and “anti-Muslim backlash.” Not to mention their unstinting habit of tarring foes of jihad terror as “anti-Muslim.”

John McCain

“How Many American Politicians Do the Saudis Own?,” by Michael Walsh, PJ Media, March 31, 2016:

If, since 9/11, you’ve begun to think that all American politicians are corrupt, that our national anger was deliberately misdirected to places where it could be expended with absolutely no result, and that our military has been exhausted in a series of pointless, unwinnable wars against third-rate Islamic nations… you’re absolutely correct.  Everywhere you look, from George W. Bush holding hands with various members of the Saudi “royal” family on down, the real enemy of civilization wraps its tentacles more tightly around us. Case in point: the sham GOP candidate, widely despised former Naval officer and second-most-loathed man in the U.S. Senate, the ineffable John McCain:

A nonprofit with ties to Senator John McCain received a $1 million donation from the government of Saudi Arabia in 2014, according to documents filed with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. The Arizona Republican has strictly honorary roles with the McCain Institute for International Leadership, a program at Arizona State University, and its fundraising arm, the McCain Institute Foundation, according to his office. But McCain has appeared at fundraising events for the institute and his Senate campaign’s fundraiser is listed in its tax returns as the contact person for the foundation.

Though federal law strictly bans foreign contributions to electoral campaigns, the restriction doesn’t apply to nonprofits engaged in policy, even those connected to a sitting lawmaker.

Groups critical of the current ethics laws say that McCain’s nonprofit effectively gives Saudi Arabia — or any other well-heeled interests — a means of making large donations to politicians it hopes to influence. “Foreign governments are prohibited from financing candidate campaigns and political parties,” Craig Holman, the government affairs lobbyist for ethics watchdog Public Citizen, said. “Funding the lawmakers’ nonprofit organizations is the next best thing.”…

True. Not only barbaric and jihad-obsessed Arabs/Muslims are buying political influence in the Western universities, media, think-tanks and bribing clueless Western leaders with huge sums of money but Western military institutions such as the Pentagon are dropping huge tons of modern weaponry to the very barbaric and genocidal islamic jihadists that are mass-murdering and butchering minorities in Syria and elsewhere in the M.E. This *is* sickeningly rife in the West.

But “Christianblood” likes to pretend the problem of enabling Islam *only* exists in the West–while Russia, which he unfailingly lauds, is also enabling a nuclear Iran and has winked at the imposition of full Shari’ah in Chechnya.

This is problem we all face–but for “Christianblood” it is just another occasion to dump on the West.

Bribery is the sacred Sunna of Mohammed who commonly bribed foreign delegations to seek intelligence from them and to make them betray their countries to his jihad against them.

Among Mohammed’s last words were his ‘three last orders’ one of which was, “…give gifts to the foreign delegations as you have seen me dealing with them.”

“Then (Mohammed) ordered them to do three things. He said, “Turn the pagans out of the ‘Arabian Peninsula; respect and give gifts to the foreign delegations as you have seen me dealing with them.” (Said bin Jubair, the sub-narrator said that Ibn Abbas kept quiet as regards the third order, or he said, “I forgot it.”) (See Hadith No. 116 Vol. 1)

Note: Mohammed’s last orders were not about piety: to pray more often, to be charitable or kindly. His last commands were those of scheming politicians: TO USE BRIBERY TO GAIN INFLUENCE IN ORDER TO BETRAY.

Skulduggery is the essence of Islam. Islam has the ethics of the mob.

All political candidates should be asked if they, or any of their foundations, have ever received foreign funding, grants, donations, when, how much and from where. If they don’t know or lie they should, by law, be ineligible for government service.

Revg, forget about the fact that other countries’ politicians are being bought by the Saudis, focus on the fact that YOUR OWN trash government and politicians – of the so-called ‘leader of the free world’ – through greed, selfishness, low of morals and lack patriotic duty are only interested in enriching themselves. In the process they selling the U.S. and it ordinary citizens down the drain. These are the patsies getting shafted! These politicians are traitors and people of low moral character who should be lined up and shot for treason.
Funny isn’t it how Western societies have thrown God and the Ten Commandments our of their lives and courts – and have absolutely nothing of value to show for this ‘brilliance’; no rules, few laws that represent true justice, media like CNN that are just pure liars and distorters of truth (in fact they no longer know the meaning of ‘truth’), kill children in the womb and call this family planning or ‘planned parenthood’ – when there is nothing left to ‘parent’! – and now more and more older citizens euthanized. The people who should be euthanized are the treacherous politicians like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, terrible liars and deceivers, and yet criminals get treated with kit gloves – the poor dears were misled so murdered someone! True values have gone to hell!
Read Bill Bennett’s article on Trump. A little taste of this: “”They will kill him before they let him be president. It could be a Republican or a Democrat that instigates the shutting up of Trump.

“Don’t be surprised if Trump has an accident. Some people are getting very nervous: Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett, Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton and Jon Corzine, to name just a few.

“It’s about the unholy dynamics between big government, big business, and big media. They all benefit by the billions of dollars from this partnership, and it’s in all of their interests to protect one another. It’s one for all and all for one. It’s a heck of a filthy relationship that makes everyone filthy rich, everyone except the American people. We get ripped off. We’re the patsies. But for once, the powerful socialist cabal and the corrupt crony capitalists are scared. The over-the-top reaction to Trump by politicians of both parties, the media, and the biggest corporations of America has been so swift and insanely angry that it suggests they are all threatened and frightened.

“Donald Trump can self-fund. No matter how much they say to the contrary, the media, business, and political elite understand that Trump is no joke. He could actually win and upset their nice cozy apple cart.

“It’s no coincidence that everyone has gotten together to destroy The Donald. It’s because most of the other politicians are part of the a good old boys club. They talk big, but they won’t change a thing. They are all beholden to big-money donors. They are all owned by lobbyists, unions, lawyers, gigantic environmental organizations, and multinational corporations – like Big Pharmacy or Big Oil. Or they are owned lock, stock, and barrel by foreigners like George Soros owns Obama or foreign governments own Hillary and their Clinton Foundation donations.

“These run-of-the-mill establishment politicians are all puppets owned by big money. But there’s one man who isn’t beholden to anyone. There’s one man who doesn’t need foreigners, or foreign governments, or George Soros, or the United Auto Workers, or the teacher’s union, or the Service Employees International Union, or the Bar Association to fund his campaign.

“Billionaire tycoon and maverick Donald Trump doesn’t need anyone’s help. That means he doesn’t care what the media says. He doesn’t care what the corporate elites think. That makes him very dangerous to the entrenched interests. That makes Trump a huge threat to those people. Trump can ruin everything for the bribed politicians and their spoiled slave masters.”

Already this morning CNN and its pathetic retards have begun their anti-Trump vilification. He’s not even my most admired character with his bull in a china shop approach and inadequacies in clearly articulating ideas, but if Americans have any hope of cleaning up the Washington Congressional sewage plant he’s almost certainly the country’s best bet.

The two biggest liars Donald and Hillary are leading so far.
Unfortunately for Donald his character issues and antics with probably help Hillary hide and distract from her immense baggage load of sleaze.

Jay Boo, I think Donald Trump almost had to “blow hard”, to clear the air of the thick cloud of misinformation about islamic jihad and who was influenced to go along with the flowery peaceful words to hide the facts about sharia, and to allow the forbidden knowledge about the doctrine to be examined. It actually had been done, but it was suppressed. The Republican debates were like game shows of the past, buzzer and all, sort of like the gong show, tricky questions, no intent to hear the ideas, but to eliminate and nearly destroy. Trump was not a politician, although he could use them, his harsh talk bothered me some but I heard some sense and to me I knew he was aware, eyes open. It may be too late for truth, but God help us, if we continue unaware.

Foreign money is capital, method of trade to make things happen. Saudi from oil revenue from the U.S. has tons of money as well as most countries in the middle east, except maybe the countries where dictators were removed. But secular countries, don’t go over well in the ME., so money is spent here on Universities, Hospitals,Politicians Building,Banks…but I don’t know if banks can survive it the money was suddenly removed from banks etc. or if they can even take this money, are there laws they have to put money somewhere….so why did we pay Iran 1.5 billion? Roads take money, sports arena’s need money where does it come from….and is there a clause to stay silent about a particular religion? Now who are all these mortgage banks never heard of, who send out cheap loan information on big loans to Americans citizens what are the consequences? Bigger debt, poverty? What is up with that? I am just an ordinary citizen, finance has got my attention….more than I can grasp, but it does make one question. Not problem with trade unless someone wants to conquer your country.

Rob Porter…Thank You for Your Heart Felt Comment…Much of what You pointed out
should be in all our thoughts.

Mr. Trump may not be the answer to any of our problems…but He offers a clear rebuke
to the arrogant establishment’s grip on everything.

Real decent hard working Americans are hurting in this country…they see no future…
Many millions…the salt of the earth…they deserve so much better than what they
        are getting from there leaders.

No it does not have to be this way…the depression….anxiety…frustration…anger…fear…
doubt…confusion…none of it needs to be.

Right and Wrong simply means what works and what does not work.

Sticking to behavior that does not work is bringing the only results it can.

We have allowed very sick behavior to be accepted even promoted.

Right and wrong cannot be mixed…yet we swear it can…this is not wrong thinking…it is no thinking.

We ignore the results of accepting wrong behavior…even try to blame the right behavior for it.

Our Nation Was Given Everything It Needed to be a Good Example To The World.

What We took for granted and abused can now to be taken from us.

Actually, I can. Because you haven’t given any reason against it. You used loaded words in your biased description in an attempt to stack the deck against me, but you gave no actual reason to why I can’t compare Russia’s support of barbaric, genocidal, suicidal, jihadi, terror-sponsoring Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah with US’s support of Saudi Arabia. The thing is, I’ve spoke against Western backing of Saudi Arabia or Turkey. Many, many times. You? I’ve never heard you saying that Russia should stop supporting Iran, Hamas or Hezbollah. Much to the contrary, you’ve tried to whitewash the oppressive anti-Christian, anti-Zoroastrian, misogynist, homophobic regime in Iran as being a “good” islam while portraying Saudis as being the “bad” islam. Both read the same books. Both worship the same highway robber, slaving, rapist murderer. For you, what makes the difference is not their ideology, it’s their political allegiances – Saudis are bad because they align themselves with Washington while Iranians are good because they align themselves with Moscow.

And that is nothing new – after the Six-Day war, the Soviets started to try to gather support in Arab muslim nations. For example, they created propaganda saying that Soviet muslims fought alongside “Palestinians” against Israel. Israel was backed by the US so the USSR started supporting Israel’s enemies.

“For God’s sake, in the obsolete organization known as ‘Nato’”

It’s no longer obsolete, courtesy of Putin. You can try asking the former members of the Warsaw Pact who willingly joined NATO what they think of NATO. They know their neighbour to the East, and they are not interested in going the way of Crimea.

“America is officially allied with the evil, genocidal Turks.”

For all the good that did Turkey – NATO told Turkey that if they were to start a war with Russia, they’d be on their own. Anyway, why are you so butthurt about the Turks while giving the evil, genocidal Iranians a free pass? Again, it’s not a matter of religious ideology, it’s a matter of political allegiances – if the Turks were on the side of Moscow and the Iranians on the side of Washington, you’d be here prattling about US supporting a nation that’s planing a genocide while excusing the Armenian genocide.

The Sauds control much of the US government which includes the US State Department, conversely Russia controls Iran. That’s a huge difference Angemon but you’re so filled with hate you cant see the difference. When the Sauds slip McCain a couple million it buys the Saudi regime billions of US taxpayer dollar kick backs. Russia actually makes money selling, not giving at a huge discount, military hardware and industrial goods to Iran. BTW, Iran is a pauper state compared to ME Arab oil kingdoms.
Also, CB is right to use Turkey as an example of the close bond between them and the US. The Turks have been able to slaughter 2,600,000 Christians in the last one hundred years, with impunity, because it always had the military backing of the USA and Britain.

I’ve also been hyper critical of McCain, Graham, Dole, Clintons, Grover Norquist and the entire Bush clan for years on JW, for being bedded by the House of Saud, can you make the same claim?

          “conversely Russia controls Iran.”

          Bwahahahaha!!! Also, citation needed.

“That’s a huge difference Angemon but you’re so filled with hate you cant see the difference. ”

You must have some muslim bones in you, because that’s the kind of unsubstantiated smear I get from muslims on a near-daily basis. “ISIS are terrorists and they’re not real muslims, but you’re so full of hate you can’t see the difference”.

“Also, CB is right to use Turkey as an example of the close bond between them and the US. The Turks have been able to slaughter 2,600,000 Christians in the last one hundred years, with impunity, because it always had the military backing of the USA and Britain. ”

Except that the approach between the US and Turkey started in the late 1940’s.

“I’ve also been hyper critical of McCain, Graham, Dole, Clintons, Grover Norquist and the entire Bush clan for years on JW, for being bedded by the House of Saud, can you make the same claim?”

Yes. I’ve criticized the US for its ties with Saudi Arabia. Of course, you do it because Russia stands to win if the US break their ties with Saudi Arabia while I do it because I consider islam incompatible with Western civilization. It’s the same reason I have criticized Western deals with Iran. You? Well, you are here defending the relationship between Russia and Iran. Since the islam in Iran is as nasty as the islam in Saudi Arabia (oppression of women, killing of gays, child marriages, hatred of the West, etc.), it’s easy to arrive at the conclusion that you criticize American dealings with Saudi Arabia for reasons other than islam – if the roles were reversed and Tehran was aligned with Washington while Riyadh was aligned with Moscow you’d be here telling us that Iran controled the US government while Russia controlled Saudi Arabia while I would be critic of the relationship between the West and islamic countries like Saudi Arabia or Iran.

“Take off your star spangled framed glasses with rose tint lens and you’ll see who has really spread Islam throughout the globe.
          P.S. It ain’t Russia.

Thank you for your kind words, Wellington. I’m doing fine, thank you. These last couple of weeks were hectic. To celebrate my town’s statute as “Sister City” to a Spanish town, the City Hall decided to host a bullfight. I bet you can imagine the response of the local (well, town over) headquarters of the fringe-left, pro-multiculturalism, silent-on-halal leftist nuts: “bullfighting is not culture,it’s animal torture and we won’t let you do that”. This coming from the same people who want open borders, no questions asked, and say we have a lot to gain from other cultures. The Mayor is a childhood friend of mine, so I devoted most of my free time helping the counter-protest – contacting people, explaining what was at stake, etc.

Now, I don’t like bullfighting. Never went to any while I lived in Spain. As far as I’m concerned, it’s animal cruelty. But I dislike fascism and thuggery even more, so I stood against the side who wants to forbid things at the drop of a hat. And yesterday, the date of the bullfight, was kind of underwhelming. The jackasses wanted to have thousands of people circling the arena so people who wanted to attend couldn’t enter. They didn’t. There couldn’t have been more than one hundred of them. There were several hundreds of us. All they did was to keep a safety distance and throw insults at us.

Hope everything is well with you too, my friend.

And, of course, an explanation of how any of what I wrote is “side stepping” your points is not forthcoming.

“then you have a fossilized turd for a brain.”

Personal attacks immediately after chest-thumping? Why, it’s almost as if you’re a troll or something! “RAWR RAWR I IZ RIGTH U IZ STOOOOOPID”.

“Angemon asks for citation, I have supplied that numerous times”

Citation needed 😀 😀 . Case in point, your posts on this topic.

“but it’s never at he or she’s high standards.
Much of the citation it wants is right in Robert Spencer’s own article.
          ”

The article was written by Michael Walsh. It says right there on the title. “How Many American Politicians Do the Saudis Own?,” by Michael Walsh. You can’t even get that right? Anyone who read the article can attest that nowhere in it says, and I quote you:

The Sauds control much of the US government which includes the US State Department

          There is this::

Groups critical of the current ethics laws say that McCain’s nonprofit effectively gives Saudi Arabia — or any other well-heeled interests — a means of making large donations to politicians it hopes to influence.

“Politicians it hopes to influence”. From there to “controls much of the US government” is quite the (il)logical leap. For f***’s sake, the word “control” is not present in the article.

“Ang. has such “high reasoning powers”- wow! Ang first accuses me of being a troll, then a drunk ex-commie, now I’m a Muslim.”

Didn’t you say I was delusional, among other personal attacks? So why care about what I say? Also, where did I say you are now a muslim? I didn’t, of course, and that you try to peddle that nonsense here, where anyone following the exchange can attest to that, doesn’t bode well for your credibility.

“I stand by all of my above statements”

Including the ones that are blatantly false, like claiming I said you’re a muslim, not knowing who the author of the article is, and what the article says. But I’ll get back at a particular statement of yours soon enough.

and It hasn’t put a dent in one of them.”

Got it – you’re a troll. Probably a paid one:

          http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/apr/02/putin-kremlin-inside-russian-troll-house

Speaking of trolls, you once said Philip Jihadski accused you of being a troll. I asked you which username you were using then, and I’m still waiting to hear from you on that. It certainly wasn’t your current one, so it begs the question: why did you switch names? My guess is that PJ made a case for you being a troll so you needed a fresh start under another guise.

Also, and coming back to one of the statements you stand by. Iran is a rabidly anti-semitic, suicidal, genocidal, terrorist-sponsoring state that is trying to get nukes to wipe Israel off the map. You said, and I quote, “Russia controls Iran“. You also said that you stand by it – imagine that. It’s almost as if I thought to myself “he’s a troll – chances are that he’ll double down on his outrageous claims, so I’m going to wait for his reply that’s sure to come before bringing up Iran’s stance on Israel”. I’m sure even you get the implications of what you wrote – Russia is directly responsible for Iran’s rabidly anti-semitic, suicidal, genocidal, terrorist-sponsoring policies. So, what’s Russia’s problem with Israel? Why are they using their puppet Iran to wipe Israel off the map?

Not only politicians, but also “leaders” in education and religion — who are so set in concrete about how Islam is peaceful. Just one example: Washington DC’s Georgetown University, BOTH SCHOLARLY AND FAITH-BASED, in its mission since 1789 has been a gold-standard for academic rigor: a degree from it was once impeccable.

The House of Saud’s Prince Alwaleed gave $20 million about 25 years ago to fund a “Muslim-Christian Understanding” entity. That gift is now paying for the sedition of John Esposito, Nathan Lean, and Jordan Denari, who concoct endless gatherings with no Christians involved.

The Hill had an article about lobbyists for foreign countries who say the foreign countries they represent are panicking over Trump. That’s because it may no longer be business as usual where the interests of the Saudi’s are put ahead of the American people. The problem for these corrupt politicians is that people now know how corrupt and dishonest they really are. “I summon my blue-eyed slaves anytime it pleases me. I command the Americans to send me their bravest soldiers to die for me. Anytime I clap my hands a stupid genie called the American ambassador appears to do my bidding. When the Americans die in my service their bodies are frozen in metal boxes by the US Embassy and American airplanes carry them away, as if they never existed. Truly, America is my favorite slave.” — King Fahd Bin Abdul-Aziz, Jeddeh 1993

“If the reputation builds that the Saudis take care of their friends when they leave office, you’d be surprised how much better friends you have who are just coming into office.” — Ambassador Prince Bandar on Washington

“I would like to come back to my United States family. I really want to see my Dad who I was closest but I have two children by the Prince now, a boy and a girl. I never see him unless I am fertile. I feel close only to my children because I have no way out. I would like to live back in the United States with them but I don’t see that ever happening because the Prince is my master and I am his girl.” — – A USA child reproductive slave in Saudi Arabia note smuggled out by an Asian area work slave assigned to her.

“What’s a few American kids when the special relationship with the Saudis is concerned. They help stabilize oil prices for us. Anyway, when I retire I am up for all those juicy consulting fees the Royal family gives their friends.” — State Department Arabist

Yes, it’s bigger than Jennifer Aniston shilling for Emirates airlines. It’s all the ex-government officials, profs, journalists, public relations firms become shills for the Gulf Arabs; to go with the Middle East Institutes compromised by Saudi money and pro-Arabist, pro-Islamic academics, like that $20 million John Esposito received for his Georgetown (renamed) Prince Alwaleed Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding. Which reminds me of Hugh Fitzgerald’s piece on Colin Powell (when Powell, after denying Obama was a Muslim, added, ‘and what would be wrong with having a Muslim President?’). Hugh recounted Powell’s close friendship with Saudi Prince Bandar:

“He (Powell) once held high office. And though he never demonstrated any particular gifts, he acquired — possibly because there had to be something good about him to focus on — the reputation for “integrity.” Apparently the gift to his wife of a Jaguar from Prince Bandar, his tennis partner, who was recently revealed in Great Britain to have been the recipient of up to $2 billion in kickbacks from a British aerospace company, and who was famous for distributing his largesse to powerful people in Washington, did nothing to modify this reputation for “integrity.” It would be useful to know, by the way, whether Colin Powell has been on the Arab lecture-circuit, the way so many others among our high and mighty have been, picking up, for a single lecture, a hundred thousand, two hundred thousand, even a million dollars (if you are Bill Clinton, or the first George Bush). But palling around with an obvious fixer and influence-peddler who worked on behalf of a sinister ruling family of a most sinister country, Saudi Arabia, befriending him, becoming his tennis-partner, says a lot about Colin Powell’s judgment–none of it good.”

This would mean there are several hundred paid agents of Gulf cash who are selling us out by disseminating Saudi disinformation about Islam.

Anyone who comes out with any of these common ‘code words’ is a likely suspect of bribery and should immediately be audited forensically by Western security services with or without authorization to do so.

Wellington, you know we’ve had this recurring discussion over the years about former President Bush — I voted for him in 2000. Did he mislead the American people because he was ill-informed or ill-advised or was it deliberate deception? I came to believe the later after I began doing my tardy due diligence on the Bush family’s lucrative financial relationship with the Saudis. If Mr. Bush had been honest about the treat posed (not by “terrorists”) but by Islam itself, Americans might not have elected this Muslim-born president seven years post 9/11/2001.

My gut still tells me, wildjew, that Bush is an honest man though quite naïve about Islam. As I have mentioned, before, however, I did notice that in the last two years or so of his Presidency he ceased making any positive statements about Islam—–nothing critical of it but no more ROP nonsense either, though Jeb Bush while he was still a candidate in this year’s Presidential campaign did, on a few occasions, say something to the effect that most Muslims are OK and he criticized Trump’s call for at least a temporary ban on Muslims immigrating to the US. I also don’t believe the Bush family needed any money. They had enough already and earned even more because Bush 41 in his earlier days was an oil man in Texas. As for Obama not being elected in 2008 if Bush had been knowledgeable and honest about Islam, I don’t think it would have made a difference because the vast majority of people in America in 2008 didn’t think Obama was a Muslim but rather a Christian. Not as many do now, of course, but in 2008 it was a very different situation.

I have doubts that he will even be the candidate running in the end. His party is corrupt enough to put someone else in that place even if it means they lose the election for sure.
They don’t need to be elected because they will get paid extremely well either way. Democrats will do exactly as the Saudis tell them just like Republicans would so it really doesn’t matter who wins if Trump is not left standing.
Seeing how Trump is financing himself he might not be in a position to do this all over again.

You wrote – ‘Seeing how Trump is financing himself he might not be in a position to do this all over again.’

Yes. I think he’s gambling. i think he’s risking EVERYTHING.

I suspect he’s been trying to build up assets for NEARLY THIRTY SOLID YEARS in order to have enough, finally, to put everything on this one desperate throw.

Way back in the 1980s his uncle – an MIT nuclear physicist – warned him about the possibility of nukes in the hands of irrational actors; and he himself – Trump – got to know a man who had worked as pilot for … Qaddafi, and that man told Trump what Qaddafy was like… psycho [like all other mohammedan despots who have ever existed].

        http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/the_spectator/2016/03/trump_s_nuclear_experience_advice_for_reagan_in_1987.single.html

Trump was worrying about Pak nukes, even way back then.

He was aware of – and approved of – what the Israelis had done to Saddam’s nuke project [and thank goodness they did… imagine ISIS with access to nuke materials….].

maybe what’s driving Trump – DRIVING him – fuelling the bravado – is a totally rational fear of nukes in the hands of the likes of the mad mullahs and ISIS. maybe ever since the 1980s he’s been focussing on making an enormous, a truly enormous pile, just so that he can – with a free hand, without anyone else pulling the strings – put that whole pile on the line… gambling for the presidency, so that he can finally DO something.

iF so, then… my hat’s off to him.

        Pray for him.

The New Left has been obsessed with the role of Oil Money in the political machinations of the past decades. A probe into the obsequies behaviour of ‘left leaning’ and ‘progressive’ commentators towards theocratic Muslim states and jihad groups is long overdue and will likely deliver a bite in the backside so hard that the trendy chattering classes will consign the ‘oil’ word to the large barrel of politically forbidden utterances.

I’m sure many of us admired the story of John McCain’s service in Vietnam, and the his long years as a POW. But, there was always something about him that people couldn’t trust. It was a bit tenuous, and hard to put your finger on, and he seemed like a nice guy. He was cleared of wrong doing in the Savings and Load mess, but you wondered; and that involved a contribution too. He refused to even discuss the lack of border control in his state of Arizona during the 2008 campaign, so you wondered… And there were other things. So people who admired the soldier couldn’t vote for the candidate, and we got Mr. Obama. Romney had the same trust issue 4 years later; too many conflicts between his past and his present, and uninspired voters stayed away in droves, and we got Mr. Obama for another 4 years. Kind of ironic when you think about it; McCain’s failure to convince the voters has given us the worst president ever. Perhaps character does matter after all…..

    • Carolyne says

      Apr 1, 2016 at 10:51 am

I have a vague memory of this, so it could be wrong, but didn’t McCain have to stand in the well of the Senate in a position of contrition while his wrongdoings in the S&L scandal were being read aloud? There were several others as I recall who were also required to do this. But that was their only punishment.

Despite hi service in Vietnam and his apparent bravery while a POW, I never thought he was very intelligent.

He did say that he knew that the Syrian rebels were not Jihadists because they told him so at lunch in Syria one day.

I think that many of our government leaders are on the payroll of Muslim countries and are selling out our country for oil money. I also think the unreasonable restrictions put on oil exploration and recovery are put in place at the behest of Saudi Arabia for huge amounts of money to those in power in the US.

I think Obama is a Muslim.

I literally never thought of the possibility you mention about Saudi oil and restricting our own exploration. That is chilling and seems very likely! Remember Mr. Obama’s famous, deep bow to the Saudi king, as one of his first, most public diplomatic acts?

McCain never seemed too interested in the job of POTUS. He appeared unwilling to use the knowledge that was out there, re BO, against his opponent; just a figurative shrug of shoulders and walk-away. Although BO had it sewn-up among so many groups, McCain never gave it a real try.

His war-hero and POW status lost its impressiveness years ago. He has greedily sold the US out too often to ever again be regarded as an American hero— the thought of him being a Saudi pet is no surprise.
The photos of him with his pals the ‘rebels’, as mentioned by MTMLA above, were a revelation for many; McCain didn’t give a fig. He’s taken care of, what else matters?

OFFTOPIC, but i am posting this here as a last-minute heads-up for all UK-based posters and lurkers who might be at leisure tomorrow 2nd April.

the BPCA – british pakistani christian association – are going to be holding a big rally and presentation of petitions both at the Pakistani high commission and also at no 10 Downing st, LONDON, UK. This is a rally raising awareness about and showing solidarity with the persecuted minorities in Pakistan, ESPECIALLY the Christians [though not excluding others].

A great opportunity for UK jihadwatchers, if they possibly can, if they live within easy travelling distance and are free tomorrow – or even if they are able to cancel other commitments – to STAND UP AND BE COUNTED. and to network with other people who are at least partly aware of the horribleness of Islam, and to further their education and generally raise public awareness. The bigger the rally the better. There will even be a band performing. Please, please, go , whether you’re a Christian, Hindu, atheist, Jew or Sikh – and take as many of your friends and family as you can manage to persuade to come.

India is encircled by pro muslim policies for last 70 years. Parsies have lost Iran. Hindus have lost Afganistan, Pakistan, Kashmir and BanglaDesh. In remaining India, %ge of muslims is on rise and has reached 18% from 9% in last 50 years. So the remaining India may automatically loose all Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and other casts as in Pakistan.

    It’s not only the Saudis.

The real reason the islamic threat is being ignored in public, is this not-so-nascent “Globalization” Agenda21 movement, which is clearly treason to ALL sovereign national people’s governments.

It’s a plutocratic kleptocracy to be run by all those corporazis who never want to pay any taxes to anyone, anywhere, ever; by the global communazi labour guys who want free movement and the same lowest common denominator wages for their 3rd-world slaves, and of course by the moslems who want their one-world islamic ummah, to be run by their theocratic caliphate government.

    It’s a triple-threat.

Against all these evil forces, we have only the Truth … while only they currently control both the fear and the greed – the stick and carrot off the threat of having their careers protested by angry mobs of swarthy criminals (like happened at recent Trump rallies) or their own families targeted for beheadings and their homes incinerated by jihad – or taking oil-money bribes to keep their pensions.

    ….

    Here’s a typical corporazi round-table discussion:

“Geez, Bob! We’ve managed to save a bundle by downsizing and out-sourcing all our labor problems to our 3rd-world slave-pens, but shipping costs are still eating us alive!”

“No problem Gary – we’ll simply order our sales-puppet politicianss to bring all our slaves here! Whee! Their leftist Union voter-base will go along, because they want the racist white race diluted!”

    Given that

    1. Islam is evil, deadly, and seditious (an ideology could be any one, or two, of these things, without being all three);

    and given that

    2. the qualities/factors of #1 are systemic and metastasizing and rise to the level of presenting a civilizational emergency (albeit a protracted and complex emergency);

    and given that

    3. we can reasonably say that any non-Muslim who knows #1 and #2 and still supports Islam by being (for example, among many other ways) “owned by Saudis” is evil and seditious;

    and given that

    4. the process of learning #1 and #2 is not rocket science but does require thinking outside the box and going against the grain of the prevailing cultural worldview of the modern West

    — we must conclude that every Westerner who shows signs of being owned by the Saudis (or by any other Muslim polity or groups bribing them in one way or another) is either evil (cf. #1, #2 and #3) or is ignorant of the nature of Islam.

But per #4, if we don’t want to let anyone off the hook by their plea of Ignorance (given that anyone with a lick of sense should, by now, know #1 and #2); to be fair and reasonable, we then infer a prevailing context of a cultural worldview that somehow so complicates the problem, relatively decent and intelligent individuals can in good conscience be “owned by Saudis” and yet not be evil (though they are surely enabling evil, unintentionally) and we may be reasonably frustrated (if not at times infuriated) by their laggard retardation in keeping up with the LCPOI (the Learning Curve of the Problem of Islam).

(Note: this is not intended to deny that there exist a few Westerners who are indeed evil per #3; only that we should not work ourselves up into a hyperventilating lather such that #3 becomes an inexorably universal assumption for any and all Westerners who don’t think like us in the Counter-Jihad (though, given the amount of squishy nougaty pockets of softness about Muslims in general which one encounters in the Counter-Jihad Mainstream, that would seem to be a dubious standard anyway…).)

You have only scratched the surface of Saudi money flowing into America to influence policies that affect Muslims in America. At every university and the more prestigious the university you will find Muslim study programs Muslim student organizations or money donated by the Saudi’s to promote a program. Which university cannot be influenced to promote a Muslim cause if it receives money to promote some “RESEARCH PROGRAM.” . MONEY buys influence big time in academia, Saudi money is also hard at work in the world of finance, buying up or owning controlling or banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, etc. plus buying up business especially related to the oil business, Where Saudi money goes corruption and influence of politicians follow.
