Long term there was a belief that Islamists are less evil than allowing Russia to get stronger in any way, which is in my opinion absurd, especially since Russia isn’t communist country for decades.

I heard on the radio this evening (Eastern time, US) that Belgian intelligence had files omn over 300 Muslim extremists in Belgium. The radio host asked a rthetorical question-why weren’t these peopel arrested and interrogated? (My view, why not deported)?)

In short, both the most devout Muslims AND the so-called moderate Muslims are responsible for the enormous sickness which is Islam. I give no adult Muslim a pass here. Not one. Only the degree of culpability is a variable.
There’s no reforming Islam. By now one knows this or should know it. I have lost patience with all those who actually think Islam can be reformed. They are wrong and they are egregiously and lethally wrong. In their own way, they are also immoral since more than enough evidence exists that Islam is evil. True–Westerners pass out candy for Valentine’s Day, Hallowe’en, and Easter, and lesser-known celebrations like the “Sweetest Day”, and various Hindu and Sikh festivals.
