And you’ve got to admit, supporters of the Islamic State are known for their puckish sense of humor.
“Montrealer linked to suspected terrorism may have spent time in Syria,” CBC News, March 10, 2016:
Radio-Canada has learned that a Montreal man, who was arrested last week in Gatineau, Que., on suspicion that he may be planning a terrorist act, might have spent time in Syria.
Several sources told CBC’s French-Language station that Ismael Habib, 28, might have travelled to Syria a few years ago.
Radio-Canada has also obtained a video that shows a man who is portraying himself as an ISIS fighter.
There is no way to prove whether or not he is indeed a member of ISIS.
In the video, the man makes threats against Habib. He shows some documents, which include what appears to be a copy of Habib’s passport as well as Habib’s marriage certificate from his 2012 wedding in Montreal.
Several people close to Habib also said that they have also received threats from someone saying they were with ISIS.
There’s also a photo of Habib carrying an assault rifle, with his finger pointing skyward in apparent reference to Allah.
Habib’s family members said the photo with the AK47 rifle was taken in jest when Habib was visiting Turkey. They explained that he was there, for several months, three or four years ago.
His family says Habib’s very religious, prays every day, but they do not believe he has taken part in any terrorist acts.
Arrested in GatineauHabib was arrested in Gatineau last week. He was charged with criminal harassment, uttering threats, and forging documents.
Habib faces no terrorism charges, but the RCMP has reason to suspect he may be planning a terrorist act….

Notice how jihadis are Always cowardly when they get exposed for what they are?
Unless it’s during an attack, then they all like “I’m doing this for Allah”

“Habib’s family members said the photo with the AK47 rifle was taken in jest …”
Of course, it was. He also jested when he did the other things he is charged with.
Some joke. Some legal trouble. Very funny. Ha. Ha.

Islam is a PERFORMANCE
It’s not a religion; it’s all about ‘Striking a Pose’.
Muslims (cling to their guns and religion) and love to pose.
They kiss carpets, perform (Wudu VooDoo) and shove their heinies high up in the air and call it a prayer.
Habib’s very religious, prays supposedly (to Allah???) every day.
Muslims pray to the mirror and to be seen by their neighbor.
Muhammad is a Joke.
Islam is an EXCUSE posing as religion.
The Qur’an is an evil prank based on a joke that Muhammad was a prophet.
Bask says
Islam is a joke itself, a disagreeable joke. They carry the bloody hijas inside. To jail 30 years and so we laugh all. Garbage.

He looks like — JUSTIN TRUDEAU

Who is Justin Trudeau

Unfortunately, the video lacked focus. I watched for the first half but it revealed nothing of whatever deception it promised to uncover. It seemed to be only a boring campaign ad for the man. Then finally when out of patience I starting skipping through the remainder, it seemed to be mainly focused on Trudeau’s desire to legalize of marijuana. Though a controversial topic, this is hardly a “deception”. I have no use whatsoever for marijuana, but one could argue for legalization solely on the bases of taking the market away from the criminals – or not! Point being, not something of overwhelming import compared to all the other problems facing us, like for instance, Islamization of North America and Trudeau’s immigration policies.
Yet I suspect you want to tell us something about this man. Then you you’ll need something more concise and to the point. Perhaps a bulleted list might do the job better than that video, but thanks for trying.

Perhaps this one is more to the point?

@Angemon
The film employed cheap and obvious innuendo to link Trudeau with all things repugnant, meaning Islam in its most vile forms – all based on the fact that he sucks up to Muslims in his riding like every politician sucks up to everyone and anyone who may vote for him.
The gratuitous images of ISIS atrocities were revolting and over the top. I don’t know what your agenda is, but you’ll have to do better than that to achieve it. This video was a disgusting smear with no integrity whatsoever – AND YOU MUST KNOW THAT!.
Meanwhile, I am no fan of Trudeau, though I voted for his father many years ago and even shook his hand. Especially, I am quite concerned with his son’s immigration policies, and of late that he seems to have found some commonality with Obama. Maybe though he has no choice but to suck up to Obama to sell our softwood lumber.
You want to know who I voted for in this recent federal election? I voted for no party! Instead, my biggest concern was the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP), and I researched platforms of parties to find one who was opposed to that ghastly beast, held my nose, and voted for a party I never voted for before and probably never will again. My vote was against the TPP.

Was anything in that film factually false?
“ – all based on the fact that he sucks up to Muslims in his riding like every politician sucks up to everyone and anyone who may vote for him.”
I’m sure you failed to realize the implication of what you’re saying…
“I don’t know what your agenda is”
Who says I have an agenda?
“but you’ll have to do better than that to achieve it.”
You don’t know what my alleged agenda is but you know how I can achieve it? Really?
“This video was a disgusting smear with no integrity whatsoever – AND YOU MUST KNOW THAT!”
Again, was anything in that film factually false?
“You want to know who I voted for in this recent federal election?”
No, I want to know what’s in that film that’s factually false. Has Justin Trudeau been, for years, pandering to supporters of islamic terrorism?
Jay Boo says
Yes
much better video
I disagree with billybob except for,
“The gratuitous images of ISIS atrocities were revolting and over the top”
The first four minutes are informative however the last minute is a bit much

Is it true that Justin Trudeau went to a mosque and put on a jalabiya and said the shahada.
Please tell me this is but a joke.

Pretty standard Islam here, and nothing Mohammed himself wouldn’t have done, so why shouldn’t all the pious Muslim around this Jihadi protect him and the community.
Standard issue Islamic sedition.

That puckish sense of humour is rampant.

What are they going to do about it?

What are they likely to do? – Hugs and kisses and apologies hand delivered by ISIS together with a parka, after all, it is 2016 and a jihadist is a Liberal is a Canadian.

I’ve visited Turkey. I went to the ruins in Izmir, toured the country side, listened to music, had a nice dinner, etc. I never occurred to me that posing with an AK-47 was something I needed to go to Turkey to do? Or that it was something I couldn’t do here? It wasn’t on any of the tourism brochures nor did our driver recommend it?
Sorry… if I wanted to pose with an AK-47… I’d go to any firing range or gun club and ask someone if I borrow a weapon and have my picture taken. Heck… I could even fire one or get a PAL and buy one. Costs less than a ticket to Turkey. I’m also not sure why it is noteworthy enough to need to proof to people that I just held an AK-47. I’m sure if I said to someone at work “Hey… I was at the rifle range last week and I got to hold an AK-47” no one would need a picture as proof. Seems that him holding an AK-47 had more significance to him that just holding an AK-47.
This is the biggest pile of nonsense ever.
ninetyninepct says
OF COURSE his family didn’t know he was heading for terrorism, that he believed in violence. OF COURSE. They never do. He was always such a nice jihadist. Bullshit. Taqiyya, baby.
