Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Bangladesh: Islamic State claims responsibility for murder of professor

“Islamic State claims responsibility for murder of Bangladeshi professor,” Daily Times, April 25, 2016:

DHAKA – Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the killing of university professor in Bangladesh for “calling to atheism”. The claim was reported by the SITE Intelligence Group, which monitors militants websites.

Professor Rezaul Karim Siddique, 58, was attacked from behind with machetes as he walked from his home to a bus station in the north-western city of Rajshahi, where he taught English at the public university, police said.

“His neck was hacked at least three times and was 70%-80% severed,” said the Rajshahi police commissioner, Mohammad Shamsuddin.

By examining the nature of the attack, we suspect that it was carried out by extremist groups, police comissioner said.

Nahidul Islam, a deputy commissioner of police, said Siddique was involved in cultural programmes and set up a music school at Bagmara, a former bastion of an outlawed militant group, Jamayetul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB).

“The attack is similar to the ones carried out on [atheist] bloggers in the recent past,” he said.

Sajidul Karim Siddique, a brother of the victim, said the academic was a “very quiet and simple man” who focused on studying and teaching. “So far as we know, he did not have any known enemies and we never found him worried,” he said.

Sakhawat Hossain, a friend and fellow English professor from the university, said Siddique played the tanpura, a musical instrument popular in South Asia, and wrote poems and short stories.

“He used to lead a cultural group called Komol Gandhar and edit a biannual literary magazine with the same name. But he never wrote or spoke against religion in public,” he said….

Muslims are going to increase their killing of us now that their cover has been blown. They’re going to be attacking us more in every area of life, asserting their hateful religion and suing more too. You can imagine how angering it must be for them to be confronted with atheistic rationalism. It must shock them to the core to have their hateful delusions be so exposed to the truth. They can’t kill us all. All we can do is keep plugging away and hope beyond hope that we can overcome their retarded love for that sick religion. I’m certain we are doing the right thing here, we can’t just let their demented traditions go unchecked. We have to make a stand against it for the sake of humankind and progress. Or muslims will be an anchor around the neck of decent people forever.

This is among the reason Islam breeds such ignorant, intolerant masses – kill the professors, kill the smart people that disagree with you, xenophobicly kill anyone not like you.

Intolerance breeds ignorance AND ignorance breeds intolerance. It is a vicious feedback loop that drives Muslims back to the 7th century, and then keeps them there.

Question for Muslims: If the original caliphate was Allah’s perfect hegemony, why did it collapse? Why did Allah make a system that would fail? Why do so many intelligent people continue to reject Islam? Maybe, just maybe dear Muslim, your Koran is nothing more that a man-made book, made by Mohammed to manipulate the ignorant people of that time – and that in itself would explain why so many intelligent people reject Islam.

Suspect? Extremist groups, like Communists? Skinheads? Pegida? Super Patriots? Yakuza? It just couldn’t be any of those “peaceful” Muslims that are claiming credit?

It is really sad that so many righteous and liberal voices are being mercilessly smothered by fear tactics of the muzzies. Many bloggers, writers and intellectuals have been brutally assasinated in Bangladesh but how many of the perpetrators have been brought to justice? I request Bangladeshi friends to enlighten us on that. The inability to deliver justice by the Bangladeshi govt. and administration when it comes to religiously motivated attacks is very disheartening for all those courageous individuals who dare to raise their voice against muslim attrocites. But there is bad news for the muzzies….these voices are getting LOUDER! Salute!
