Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Bangladesh professor hacked to death, throat slit in suspected Islamic jihad attack

“His neck was hacked at least three times and was 70-80 percent slit. By examining the nature of the attack, we suspect that it was carried out by extremist groups.” He doesn’t mean those widely-touted but actually quite scarce “right-wing extremists,” either.

“Bangladesh professor hacked to death in suspected Islamist attack,” AFP, April 23, 2016 (thanks to Naveen):

DHAKA: Unidentified attackers hacked to death a university professor in Bangladesh on Saturday, police said, adding that the assault bore the hallmarks of previous killings by Islamist militants of secular and atheist activists.

Police said English professor Rezaul Karim Siddique, 58, was hacked from behind with machetes as he walked to the bus station from his home in the country’s northwestern city of Rajshahi, where he taught at the city’s public university.

“His neck was hacked at least three times and was 70-80 percent slit. By examining the nature of the attack, we suspect that it was carried out by extremist groups,” Rajshahi metropolitan police commissioner Mohammad Shamsuddin said.

Shamsuddin said police had not yet named any suspects but added that the pattern of the attack fitted with previous killings by Islamist militants.

Nahidul Islam, a deputy commissioner of police, said Siddique was involved in cultural programmes, including music, and set up a school at Bagmara, a former bastion of an outlawed Islamist group, Jamayetul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB).

“The attack is similar to the ones carried out on (atheist) bloggers in the recent past,” Islam said….

It is fascinating how removing the seat of human rationality is the goal of Islam.

Are you implying that universities promote rationality, Mort? That ended a quarter century ago. Now it’s all delusion and wishful thinking.

        ‘All’?

        ALL?

There are, here and there, professors and lecturers teaching good sense.

William Kilpatrick, for one, at Boston College.

Carol Swain, for another. She got into trouble for writing an intelligently Islamocritical op-ed. Here’s what she wrote:

“Islam is not like other religions in the United States[;] it poses an absolute danger to us and our children unless it is monitored. . . . If America is to be safe, it must . . . institute serious monitoring of Islamic organizations.”

All one needs is this: Google for this: Online search Quran====Next search for this word: fight=====Read what comes up.

Now you know how peaceful the religion of Islam is.

That is so true. I have lost ALL respect for universities. I consider professors to be below the level of street bums, although I was sad to see what had happened to this one.

We know darn well it was islamic militants even without knowing. The Bangladesh government and muslims are notorious for attacking secularists and critics of islam. This professor probably made the mistake of telling the truth about islam and that’s something most muslims can’t bear. Sh*tty people don’t like to hear the ugly truth about them selves, makes ’em angry. And I think people that live according to a hateful and violent creed can be safely described as sh*tty. And killing their critics is in perfect alignment with that sh*tiness.

It’s going to come to America too, this murder of free speech. The Garland Texas murder attempt for the cartoons is a prime example–CARTOONS! It won’t be long, we’ll be hearing about critics of islam’s fascist ideology getting “wacked.” They’re already using intimidation and lawsuits, I know they’re going to take it to the next level. And of course the pandering left would love to kill free speech, we’re seeing rumblings of this. Islam does not teach moral restraint and tolerance, it teaches murder against those that do not agree. It’s only natural they would live true to their faith and bring it to the next level. Islam always ends up a destroyer of peace and a creator of hate, murder, and social discord.

Give that evil up, muslims! turn to the Christian god and learn how to love!

Seems an apt description of the US government for the last 24 years – of, for, amd by the demo-COMMUNISTS and RINOs

I don’t think so. There ain’t a single college professor in America who has ever told the truth about Islam. For example, Spencer is an accomplished scholar, and his chances of getting a professorship is somewhere in the 0.00000000% range, to be approximate.

Bangladesh is well and trully on the path to self-destruction. It would be nice if the self-destruction was confined within their communities and territories but they want to spread their misery to the rest of the world – make everyone else suffer their problems. Dumb arse western governments are making this possible through their ill-conceived migration policies. How has the UK benefitted from the pakis except footing the bill for medical and phsychologcal problems due to inbreeding, burden on social welfare, perdilction for bombing and maiming fellow citizens, incessant complaints and demands, economic burden and increased terrorist threat. They are a burden, a nuisance and worst of all a deadly threat to fellow citizens. By far the worst community of all in any country that allows them in. Misery and trouble follow them anywhere not to mention death and destruction. Religion of peace my arse.

Today simply out of fear of losing their job, every honest teacher or professor must mind his manners while in public! But in private: many know the truth and may even be willing to fight for it.
It’s very sad that the brainwashing of America’s youth is allowed to continue. Even when parents object, they are labeled as ignorant, backward or relegious fanatics! We will have to fight to preserve our constitutional rights. Which are so quickly being nullified.
