Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Biden slams Netanyahu hours after Jerusalem jihad massacre

Apr 19, 2016 1:08 pm By Robert Spencer

In reporting about the jihad attack yesterday, I wrote, “Time for Obama and Kerry to pressure Israel to make more concessions to the genocidal lovers of death.” I was wrong. It wasn’t Obama or Kerry, it was Biden.

Biden

“Biden slams Netanyahu hours after Jerusalem attack,” Fox News, April 19, 2016:

Vice President Joe Biden said Monday night that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government was leading the country “in the wrong direction” hours after a bus bombing in Jerusalem wounded at least 21 people.

In a speech to the Israel advocacy group J Street, Biden criticized Palestinian leaders, but saved his harshest words for Israeli officials.

“I firmly believe that the actions that Israel’s government has taken over the past several years — the steady and systematic expansion of settlements, the legalization of outposts, land seizures — they’re moving us, and, more importantly, they’re moving Israel in the wrong direction,” Biden said.

Biden did single out Palestinian leaders, including Mahmoud Abbas, for declining to condemn specific acts of terrorism carried out against Israelis. The vice president said he didn’t know whether Monday’s explosion was a terrorist attack, but added that the U.S. condemns “misguided cowards” who resort to violence.

Israeli officials have called the bombing of an empty bus parked near other vehicles a terror attack, with Netanyahu linking it to the ongoing wave of attacks in which Palestinians have targeted Israelis in Jerusalem.

“We will settle accounts with these terrorists,” Netanyahu said in a speech following the bombing. “We are in a protracted struggle against terror — knife terror, shooting terror, bomb terror and also tunnel terror.”…

“There is at the moment no political will that I observed from either Israelis or Palestinians to go forward with serious negotiations,” Biden said….

Biden’s remarks to J Street, a dovish group that frequently criticizes Netanyahu, came at the height of a campaign season in which candidates have been scrutinized over their adherence to traditionally stalwart U.S. support for Israel.

Ahead of Tuesday’s primary in New York, Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders has sparked controversy by saying the U.S. should be even-handed and mustn’t always say that Netanyahu is right.

In another dig at Netanyahu and his Likud Party, Biden singled out for praise Stav Shaffir, a young member of Israel’s parliament and a Netanyahu critic from the left wing of Israeli politics.

“May your views begin to once again become the majority opinion in the Knesset,” Biden said.

Ol Biden the Americaner (Looks American on the outside, but is more sympathetic to foreigner interests on the inside) is at it again.

We can just chalk this one up right next to his past speech about how the Taliban were never the enemy of the U.S.

Biden, a man who the founding fathers would’ve gladly tarred and feathered for consistently placing America at the bottom.

Crazy Joe was drafted in for a very good reason – Barry’s handlers don’t want anyone to remember Obama’s farewell speech for “Palestinian” activist Rashid Khalidi.

The tape was acquired by the the LA Times around 2008 and was promptly deep-sixed at the LAT to help shield their messiah Barry Obama from the electoral consequences of his earlier, more open “annihilate Israel” stance.

No doubt key LA Times editors and staff have been enjoying Soros-channeled largess since then.

As Barry himself has stated, he and his handlers and backers (Soros) will continue to inflict every ounce of harm that they can during the remaining term of office, and no doubt beyond. Remember Barry’s ceaseless and unprecedented fundraising throughout his second term.

Biden probably never read it. Being the VP he has people to do that kind of grunt work for him. And if the report that arrives at his hands makes no mention of it and blames Israeli settlements, he will defend that point of view, erroneous as it is, with the fervour of plausible deniability. Of course, there’s always the possibility that sometimes what can be adequately explained by stupidity is in fact malice.

        • Cecilia Ellis says

          Apr 19, 2016 at 3:03 pm

Angemon, your reply accurately implies three possibilities:

          1. Willful ignorance (i. e., plausible deniability)
          2. Stupid malice
          3. Malicious stupidity

You may have hit on something here . . . a fusion of all three that routinely predominates in the Obama administration’s foreign policy agenda.

“the steady and systematic expansion of settlements”

So, I’m not up to speed on this.

Are the settlements, and the expansion of those settlements, legal?

If they are, why does Biden make an issue of it?

If they are not, why are they being constructed?

As I’m too lazy to read a lengthy history of the issue right now, can anyone here shine a little light on this?

    What’s the real scoop?

    • Ellenl says

      Apr 19, 2016 at 2:02 pm

The settlements belong to Israel. They were won in wars. They are disputed because peace negotiations (of which there are none because Hamas and Abbas refuse to sit down at the same table with Israel) would take them into consideration in dividing land between Israel and Gazan/W. Bank Arabs. In the meantime, they belong to Israel and can be dismantled if peace is ever reached. Don’t hold your breath over that, however. Israel has offered peace many times, even 100% of what was requested, but all offers were rejected because they required Gazan/W. Bank Arabs to recognize that Israel is a Jewish homeland, ruled by Jews. This doesn’t sit well with Arabs, who view all of the Middle East as Arab property and preach hatred of Jews and Christians every Friday. In order for peace to exist, Jews and Christians must be dhimmies and, if they don’t convert to Islam, pay jizyah (a tax) to Muslims. I guess providing free electricity and water isn’t sufficient. Let’s not neglect to mention that Arabs never owned the land, never paid taxes on the land and never ruled the land. The land on which they lived was owned by Turks and then managed by Britain, who was overthrown by Jews after renegging on the Balfour Declaration. While the failure of peace negotiations has always been due to Arabs, this administration is trying to force Israel into phony peace–the ceding of lands won in wars to Arabs without any indication that Arabs will recognize Israel’s right to exist. Perhaps this administration should consider setting an example by returning Texas and California to Mexico. They have disrespected Israel’s sovereignty and its right to lands won in wars. I hope Bibi ignores them until they’re out of office, which won’t be too soon for me.

    • Rami Reed says

      Apr 20, 2016 at 4:07 am

The settlements are legal because the League of nations and the San Remo conference in 1922 decided that Jews can settle anywhere in Palestine. This was reaffirmed in chapter 80 of the United Nations charter which declared that all decisions made by the League are valid and cannot be overturned. Modern Europe and the US ignore these decisions and act as if the settlements are illegal.

“The vice president said he didn’t know whether Monday’s explosion was a terrorist attack, but added that the U.S. condemns “misguided cowards” who resort to violence.”

Let’s see if I have this right. . . Biden doesn’t know if the bus blowing up was a terrorist attack — as if buses routinely take the initiative to blow themselves up on their own — but immediately followed up that inane statement with a condemnation of “misguided cowards” . . . not Islamic devotees who routinely seek to eradicate all Jews “from the river to the sea.”

I am infuriated! There is absolutely no excuse for Biden to focus his remarks on Israel. I am sending an e-mail to my state’s senators and congressmen to express my outrage. Biden should have condemned Hamas, Palestinian Jihad, and all those “misguided cowards” who litter the streets of Israel with their Quranic-mandated savagery.

How anyone could possibly believe that a person, a group, a nation could or should *negotiate* with those sworn and devoted to the destruction of the person, group or nation, is total stupidity. Or is just plain evil.

When bank robbers take hostages, there is a *negotiation*…but it really is not a negotiation at all. LE do a lot of stalling until snipers are in place and know where all of the hostages are located. All of the stalling time gives the hostage takers opportunity to get tired and give up. But if not, it has given LE time to prepare for rescue.
When Israel *negotiates* with the terrorists, they accomplish only the giving of time to the terrorists to get in place with their bombs, knives, guns and are tunnel ready to go forth killing.

Israel has the goal of staying safe and alive. The terrorists…whether calling themselves the PA, Hamas, or something else…have the goal of killing all of the Jews and taking over the land that has never rightly belonged to them.

Therefore there is Muslim violence against the Jews as in that bus bombing Jerusalem . Likewise, the Koran teaches violent and deadly against non–Muslims, [4:89. 5:33. 9:5, 111,123. 47:4. ] Therefore , there is Muslim violence against the Jews as in that bus bombing in Jerusalem. Israel was barren and unproductive until Jews brought it to life through their labor and commitment to restore it. Success followed, and, with it, an influx of Muslims seeking what they could not produce for themselves. Hatred fog Jews was there from the beginning, and it was expressed with a bloody massacre of Jews almost forty years before Israel was declared a sovereign state by the agreement of civilised nations of that day. The killings were called the Hebron Massacre.
The British ruled the land then and went to disarm everyone. The Muslims complained loudly (can you believe that?), but the Jews did not. The armed Arabs massacred the disarmed Jews. Who could imagine that happening?
In fulfilment of promises made to establish the State of Israel, Muslims and all other Arabs were allowed all the rights held by Jews, including holding all political offices. They had more rights than they could receive from any Islamic state.
There is much more to be said, but that and the earlier comments should be enough for any reasonable mind.

Christians seem to forget that Jews were the best buddies of Muslims for 1300 years, even though they got persecuted by them at times. They are not the Israel of God, because you can’t know the Father without the Son, the only way to the Father is through the Son.
Being a generic descendent of Jacob means nothing to God. That’s why he said that your father is the devil, not Abraham, even though his audience were clearly the descendants of Abraham.
Remember that “women’s testimony means half in court and how much mysoginistic Islam is”? Guess where Arabs got that idea amongst the boatload of other traditions.
And spare me the “grafted branch” doctrine. Are Trotsky or Bernie Sanders part of the branch we need to be grafted to?
Being an accomplished violin player or legal scholar also means nothing to God. The Babyloneabs were very accomplished too – doesn’t make them the chosen people. A loser bum who can’t spot the US on the map but who strives in holiness is more pleasing to God than a Jewish nuclear scientist who thinks that Jesus is a fraud.

Sometimes, not always but sometimes, one “event” sums up everything. I would contend that Joe Biden saying to Hirsi Ali (back in December of 2014 when this intrepid woman tried to inform this very silly excuse for a Vice-President of the true nature of Mo’s creed), “Let me tell you something about Islam,” serves as a fine example, actually a sterling one, of this hypothesis of mine. Oh yeah, “summation’ in all its “glory” here.

And the poor old sod has obviously learned nothing since that time, as evidenced by this article. Well, if you’re still a fool and don’t know how the world really works by the time you’re Biden’s age, chances are enormous that you never will, that you are destined to go to your grave the fool you have always been.
