Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Can There Have Been Two Annunciations?

Apr 2, 2016 1:12 pm By Ralph Sidway

The “second annunciation,” to Muhammad, is pivotal in Islam, marking the beginning of his call as prophet. It is also one of the most significant and revealing facts about Islam, one which deserves some exploration.

In addition to being Good Friday for Western Christians, last Friday was March 25, the Feast of the Annunciation of the Archangel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary, recounted in the Gospel according to Luke (1:24-38). This event is pivotal, marking the beginning of the Incarnation and God’s plan of salvation. From Luke’s Gospel:

Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary.

And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!”

But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was.

Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS.

“He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”

Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?”

And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.

“Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible.”

Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.

It is interesting that the Gospel describes the angel Gabriel comforting the initially troubled maiden; he wishes to immediately reassure her, describing the ineffable mystery of the conception of the Son of God, as well as offering confirmation of the validity of his annunciation through the news of Mary’s cousin Elizabeth, who is nearing the third trimester of her own miraculous pregnancy, “for with God, nothing will be impossible.” There is no pressure, no coercion, and certainly no terror. Mary was free to decline to cooperate with the message brought to her about her role in God’s plan. Her humble acceptance sets the Christian revelation in motion.

The Second Annunciation

Islam also begins with an annunciation of sorts, to Muhammad, coincidentally also by a spirit being identified in Islam as the angel Jibril (Gabriel). Only the nature and outcome of that annunciation is quite different from the one to the Virgin Mary six centuries earlier.

Just as in the first annunciation, this ‘second annunciation’, to Muhammad, is pivotal in Islam, marking the beginning of his call as prophet. It is also one of the most significant and revealing facts about Islam, one which deserves some exploration.

The first point which needs to be made is the apparent purpose of the second annunciation.  This second annunciation unleashed a force which has sought to sweep away the entire Christian Revelation, sought to replace the first and true annunciation, while conquering the world for Allah.

The theological assault of Islam upon Christianity (what I term “theological jihad”) has been treated quite thoroughly elsewhere. What I wish to focus on here, is precisely the character of this second annunciation, in which — according to the claims of Islamic source texts and dogma — the Archangel Gabriel came to Muhammad, setting in motion the religion of Islam.

Before we consider this “second annunciation,” we should first note the correspondence between the Virgin Mary and Muhammad. The Virgin Mary bore the Word of God made flesh, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity. Muhammad claimed to have brought the words of God in book form, the Qur’an, which Islam teaches pre-existed in perfect form with Allah before all the ages, in what Islam calls the “Mother of the Book.” Thus, although we can rightly compare Jesus and Muhammad in considering the character and heart of Christianity vis a vis that of Islam, the actual theological equivalence is between Jesus and the Qur’an, and between the Virgin Mary and Muhammad.

But what is the nature of this second annunciation? How does it comport with the first? What was its effect upon the recipient? How did the spiritual being which came to Muhammad approach him? How did Muhammad respond? Can we discern anything from the answers to these questions?

Jibril — angel or demon?

The first “revelation” brought by the spiritual being (which Islam teaches was the Archangel Gabriel) was an overpowering, forceful and terrifying event, which occurred after Muhammad had spent many days and nights alone in a cave in Hira, worshipping Allah. The powerful spirit being which commanded him to “read and recite” was frightening: Three times, Muhammad related, “He pressed upon me so tightly I thought it was death” (Ibn Ishaq, The Life of Muhammad, trans. by A. Guillaume, New York, 1980, p106. cf. Hadith from Sahih Bukhari, 5:96:5).

Significantly, Muhammad himself did not at first believe he was being visited by the archangel Gabriel, thinking rather that he was a victim of a jinn (from which we get the word “genie”) or demon. He fled trembling back to his wife Khadija, fearing for his life, crying, “Woe is me, poet [that is, oppressed by demonic visions] or possessed!” (Ishaq, p106)

Muhammad became fearful and suicidal, but was eventually persuaded by his wife Khadija and her uncle Waraqa (a Nestorian heretic) that the messages were from God and that he was Allah’s chosen messenger.

Khadija is credited with being the first Muslim. That Muhammad then actively sought further encounters with the being which assailed him is testimony to his willingness to open himself up to the unseen realm. That he was so easily convinced by his wife and uncle (and the forceful “being”) that he was specially chosen by God and was not demonically oppressed or possessed shows that vainglory and satanic deception had totally seized control of his mind and heart.

After this harrowing initial visitation, there was a three year drought of “revelations,” during which Muhammad suffered from suicidal depression and self-doubt.  (Ishaq, p106. See also this article at Answering Islam.)

By the time the “revelations” resumed, Muhammad was predisposed to accept them no matter the cost. He identified himself with the revelations, wholly placed his self-worth in being the recipient of them.

Muhammad — a UFO “contactee”?

This is an interesting point, as Muhammad’s response to the spirit being Jibril and its fierce and deadly assault upon him closely parallels the experiences of today’s UFO contactees and abductees. People who have seen a UFO, and especially those who claim a “close encounter,” or to have been abducted, often suffer from severe psychological trauma, depression, suicidal tendencies, delusions and more. A very small number become acclimated to the monstrous experience they have had, and some of them, like the hapless Whitley Streiber, write books or otherwise aid in promoting the demons’ UFO myth of a coming Great Disclosure and a new age to follow. Uncanny how the UFO contactee phenomenon parallels the early career of Muhammad.

The nature of the annunciation to Muhammad

Even this brief study reveals the “annunciation” to Muhammad to be demonic in origin. Thus it is quite clear that Muhammad was worse than just a false prophet and a fraud, but rather became a willing and cooperative victim of demonic deception, if not outright demon possession.

We know the rest of the story, all from Islamic source texts: Muhammad the warlord who beheaded over 800 Jews after one battle victory; the pedophile who married the child Ayesha when she was six years old, “consummating the marriage with her when she was nine years old; the lusty prophet who had eleven wives plus sex-slave concubines captured as war booty from defeated enemies; his numerous sexual perversions; the violent history of his successors, who waged war amongst themselves even as Islam was spreading itself through jihad across the Middle East and North Africa; and the ensuing thirteen centuries of bloody and ruthless Islamic jihad and sharia which multiplies its atrocities all around the globe, including now in Europe and America.

All this reveals precisely the nature of this second annunciation.

By their fruits you shall know them.

Scholars have noted all the parallels from Zoroastrian, Jewish and Christian writings and hetero-canonical writings that mysteriously crop up in the Koran. They assume a number of things: 1) the documents were purposely copied from little known texts found by the Koran’s editors, 2) a captured Jewish or Christian scholar intentionally misled Mohammed or whoever the author(s) of the Koran was, 3) the stories were circulating orally in a non-literate culture from the mouths of professional story tellers and were imperfectly remembered by the Koranic writer(s).

There will probably never be a convincing explanation of the origin of the Koran, because the perpetrators of this fraudulent text didn’t leave a letter of confession.

The supposed explanation for the Koran, including the entire biography of Mohammed has so many discrepancies in it that modern Koran scholars believe all the stories about Mohammed were invented to fill in a gaping LACUNA of information and FABRICATE a prophet so that Arabs could believe they had been called to RULE THE WORLD politically.

None of Islam has much credibility because it has no historicity, appearing as it did between 60 and 250 years after the death of Mohammed…even the date of his death is in dispute.

Yes, and even knowing all this, they still label him “prophet”. He demanded that people accept him as a prophet. Those who disagreed were hunted dow and killed. Such was the fate of his Jewish followers.. Christ never demanded that anyone call him prophet. Christ never raped, kidnapped, robbed, enslaved or even injured anyone. Nor does he derive fame from such actions.

Good article, Ralph. Martin Luther once called the devil “God’s ape”.

My guess is that Muhammad may have heard the Gospel of Luke read during his business trips to the Fertile Crescent, or perhaps even in Arabia itself. Clearly, the Qur’an’s treatment of Zacharias’ reponse to the birth of John the Baptist and the Qur’anic material concerning Mary and John the Baptist seem to exhibit some familiarity with portions of Luke. I’m not saying that Muhammad understood Luke; just that he may have made use of portions of it that he had heard (presumbaly in Syriac?).

As for the UFO contactees, they’re the “simple believers” in Evolutionary Materialism receiving their visions of the superman (in the Nietzchean, not Marvel Comics, sense), which the degreed, credentialed, vestments-wearing (lab coats) official “priests” of the same religion have not been privileged to receive. Islam is like a chameleon that incorporates elements of many other religions into a mishmash to claim credit and gain our trust that Muslims are in some ways just like us.

Islam has two faces for duplicity.
Like the dry, barren moon that stalks our earth in circles at night, Islam tries to steal all the credit from each star’s reflected light.
But, it always hides one face from our view while it lurks in the dead of night and then it disappears in the clear of daylight.

When examined closely. Muhammad’s Freudian slips are more of an unintentional CONFESSION than a REVELLATION

    Exodus from Medina
Desert spirits spoke in twisted verse, a dance of words to recite, to recite.
Medina’s false prophet this rehearsed in a dark cave near Mecca veiled by night.
But, the angel Gabriel saw his descent, and said — “Pawn of Satan turn, repent, repent.”
Muhammad’s attempts to partner with his sock-puppet Allah were dredged up from the lowest pit of his vanity.
Islam’s infected creed was fertilized by a sociopath’s made-up dream.
Bloodied hands are now washed before prayers that incite as hate speech to recite, to recite.
Whenever, false humility makes a hajj to Satan’s curse,
Islam’s dead Serpent crawls out from his stockpile of vile, veiled verse.

I think the man who wrote and put together the Qur’an, 200 years after Muhammad’s success at being a warrior for Allah, incorporated what he knew of Christian and Jewish doctrine into that book. And, because he really didn’t KNOW the exact scriptures wording, wrote what he THOUGHT it said, then expounded more due to his misconception of real scripture. He created a whole new religion based on his adoration of Muhammad’s rise to power. Being Arab, and having many bones to pick over the Jews and Christians, made a deliberate and evil book changing the Jesus into just another prophet.

There are many fans of fiction fantacy who form groups, and play out those fantasies, and anyone who quotes the book incorrectly is either dumped from the group, or shamed into a period of silence. The Qur’an is written deliberately with NO wiggle room for mistakes, else the loyal Muslim lose his place in Paradise. The more I learn about Islam, the more evident this becomes.

In all honesty, when someone says they are comparing Jesus Christ to that murderer, rapist, killer of children through torture, rape and beheading, ordering his tribe to copy this filth and worship of satan the devil, is like trying to compare heaven to chicken poop.

There is no comparison. Jesus and His Father are “higher than our thoughts, higher than our ways,” and cannot really be compared to satan and his filthy beast, islam.

The angel that spoke to Mary and explained about Christ to her did not go and speak to that vile creature of the desert…no matter how many his claims that Gabriel spoke to him. satan is a liar from the beginning and so are his children, liars. The devil was making an attempt to confuse the “good news about the Christ” and get people to follow him instead. And he was successful. But it all leads to death, early or late, death is the outcome for all who follow satan.

    Muslims oppose all religions
Satan will be born a Jew with an eye in the middle of his forehead, having a go at the Jews and the Third Eye Hindu tribe. Muslims are not allowed to look up, which organically produces positive stuff. Jesus will return and land on a mosque, save all Muslims and good Christians, jiyza payers i assume.

Satan was created before humanity existed; he’s not going to be “born” at any time in any human race. He was an archangel who rebelled against Yhwh God, and was expelled from Heaven for that, along with the 1/3 of angels who chose to follow him in that rebellion.

If you take all the religious mumbo-jumbo out of his encounters, what is obvious is that he suffered from schizophrenia and possibly other mental diseases. He became self-delusional but quite probably did not fully believe all the lies he conjured up.

Interesting that Ralph Sidway brings up the similarity between Mohammed’s (supposed) encounter with Jibril and (supposed) encounters of UFO contactees. Here is a similar passage from the first chapter of Ibn Ishaq’s biography of Mohammed about a (supposed) incident from his childhood:

Later, the apostle of Allah himself described what had happened. ‘Whilst I and my milk brother were pasturing some animals in the rear of our house, two men came to us dressed in white garments and bearing a golden platter full of snow. They took hold of me, opened my belly, extracted my heart, split it open and took out of it a black lump of blood which they threw away. Then they washed my heart and belly with snow, until they had purified them. Then one of them said to his companion, “Weigh him against one hundred of his people.” And he weighed me with them, but I proved heavier than they. Then he said, “Weigh him with one thousand of his people.” This he also did, and I was again found more heavy. After that he said, “Leave him; for if you were to weigh him against his whole nation, he would outweigh it.”

      Hi ECAW 🙂

There’s an interesting parallel between supposed divine visitations and “alien” encounters. These entities have been known throughout the ages as daimons (Greek), demons, jin, faeries, and more recently, aliens. Their names change, but the hallmarks of their manifestation remain the same- “glowing white garments” being a typical one.

There’s a really good book about it by Partick Harpur called “Daimonic Reality”.

P.S. Sorry I didn’t reply to you- I’m having email problems.

you guys forget the part where Mohamed ran and hid under his blankee. While a young woman, a virgin, was not afraid of her assignment in a time when she would have been stoned to death. the adult male – Mohamed – ran and hid under his blankee when nothing would have happened to him.

koran 96:1 talks of the spirit demanding mohammed read. An ‘all knowing deity’ is asking mohammed to read?! Why? Didn’t it know mohammed couldn’t read?

Bukhari:V1B1N3-V6B60N478 tells of the demand for mohammed to read, and also how the spirit was forceful to him and scared the crap out of him. ‘….Then mohamed the fraidy cat returned from that experience; the muscles between his neck and shoulders were trembling, and his heart beating severely. He went to Khadija and cried, ‘Cover me! Cover me.’ She did until his fear subsided. He said, ‘What’s wrong with me? I am afraid that something bad has happened to me.’ Khadija replied, ‘Never! By Allah, Allah will never disgrace you….'”

(I can just picture this – an old man sniveling under his blankee! LMAO!)

When a young woman called Mary saw the Angel Gabriel she didn’t run home and hide under a blankee. She accepted what the Angel asked of her in a time when she would have been stoned to death. and mohamed loved stoning women so much he kept up the practice and his zombies keep it up to this day. While Jesus stopped a stoning of a woman.

Here we also see that his first wife is also telling us that allah was what she worshiped – the pagan religion of mohammed ibn ABDALLAH (his father’s name). At the time all this happened the pagans were worshiping all those statues and running around the kabaa in the nude.

Similar verses in Muslim C74B1N301 and Tabari VI:67. In Tabari, it says the spirit identified itself as the Angel Gabriel, but Tabari is a supposed less reliable source than the rest of them. I don’t know – the whole thing, including the koran isn’t too reliable for too much except for a book on military tactics against non-moslems. The koran doesn’t even mention Gabriel for the first 12 years of mohammed’s ‘prophethood’.

The powerful spirit being which commanded him to “read and recite” was frightening: Three times, Muhammad related, “He pressed upon me so tightly I thought it was death”

By all historical accounts, Mohamed could neither read nor write. Why is no one giving the demonic presence any recognition of performing a miracle by making an illiterate able to “read and recite”.

And further….why did Mohamed not retain this miraculous ability after the event? Could it be that the whole narrative about Mohamed being a prophet is complete fabrication in the best Arabic fashion?

Oh, Andy, I am not a Christian, and have not been pushed from this blog. I just don’t let peoples beliefs needle me! In fact, I enjoy them, EXCEPT Islam. I am in this fight against Islam WITH these people because a house divided cannot stand. We have one common enemy, and if you can’t tolerate listening to someone’s heartfelt convictions, then maybe you need to look at your purpose for interjecting your thoughts. Not one person here has condemned me for speaking. Initially I did go through a period of chastisement from some, but instead of leaving, tried to figure out what it was they were SAYING to me, and I learned so much from that!

What is the GOAL? Conquer Islam. Who is doing the fighting? We are. If you don’t understand that the potential for Islam’s Shari’a Law to overcome our culture is enormous, please look at Europe and Britain as an example. Londons mayoral candidate, one anyway, is a flipping MUSLIM.

as far as Muhammad that is in the wonderful article
      ————————————————————————

“Even this brief study reveals the “annunciation” to Muhammad to be demonic in origin. Thus it is quite clear that Muhammad was worse than just a false prophet and a fraud, but rather became a willing and cooperative victim of demonic deception, if not outright demon possession.”
      ————————————————————————-
“We know the rest of the story, all from Islamic source texts: Muhammad the warlord who beheaded over 800 Jews after one battle victory; the pedophile who married the child Ayesha when she was six years old, “consummating the marriage with her when she was nine years old; the lusty prophet who had eleven wives plus sex-slave concubines captured as war booty from defeated enemies; his numerous sexual perversions; the violent history of his successors, who waged war amongst themselves even as Islam was spreading itself through jihad across the Middle East and North Africa; and the ensuing thirteen centuries of bloody and ruthless Islamic jihad and sharia which multiplies its atrocities all around the globe, including now in Europe and America.

Can There Have Been Two Annunciations?
    ……………………

    *Excellent* piece from Ralph Sidway.

And Gabriel–actually, “Jibreel”–did not just attack Muhammed, he also screamed at an illiterate man to “Read!” or “Recite!”.

One might say that a virgin conceiving and an illiterate reading are both impossible things–but they are not both treated as miracles.

Look at the differing nature of these events–as Mr. Sidway notes, Gabriel comforts Mary and eases her anxiety; Jibreel does no such thing with the figure who will go on to become the sanguinary “model man” of Islam, instead threatening and assaulting him.

    Compare and contrast.

Here is one of my favorite Annunciations, from the 19th century by John William Waterhouse, which emphasizes Mary’s very human surprise:

    http://www.jesus-story.net/images/A_Annunciation_John_William_Waterhouse_1914.jpg

And here’s the wonderful Annunciation by Fra Angelico from the Italian Renaissance, which emphasizes Mary’s modesty and faith:

    https://classconnection.s3.amazonaws.com/331/flashcards/172331/jpg/fra_angelico_043-141EA5A773F69BED349.jpg

There are many more lovely paintings. As an art historian, I have written about a number of them.

There are few images of Muhammed being accosted by Jibreel, of course, and they are all quite stark and crude, and mostly based on the image above.

i’ve downloaded a picture of Muhammad being visited by three messengers who are supposed to be healing Mo’s heart. It looks gruesome. Can’t recall where from though. Looks pretty old.

If by “in the mind”, with reference to God, you mean He’s merely a delusion, a figment of our imaginations, then I will tell you you’re categorically wrong.

i’ll see if i can find it again, i’ve erased its origin.

Thank you, citycat–I would be very interested.

There are a fairly limited number of artworks featuring Muhammed, as you might imagine–some Turkish works, some Persian, and–primarily–some Indian Mughal pieces–all places where there was a strong image-making tradition that predated Muslim conquest.

Many of these are variations on each other–there is, unsurprisingly, not much innovation in Muslim art. There are a number of common themes–Muhammed sitting in judgment, visiting hell, battles, and his ride on Buraq.

I can’t recall ever having seen a painting depicting the messengers ‘purifying’ his heart–but I do imagine it would be quite gruesome.

If you have a Facebook account, go to “Syrian Artists” and see some of the absolute best art! Most is expressionist, but all are so poignant regarding the Syrian war. I used to have maybe 75 Arabic artists whos posts I saw everyday. But, when I began to discover what Islam was all about, I unfriended them because I knew I could not be honest about my feelings knowing I would hurt theirs! Yes oh boy was I ever dhimmi (SP)!

Thanks, linnte. I am familiar with some of this work.

Artists in Syria today are as threatened as almost anyone by the Jihad there. Many have fled.

But yes–even many of these artists still cling to Islam.

    @ Sandra Lee Smith
no i don’t mean either of those examples you gave.
If God exists then God exists also in the mind, how? I don’t know, depends what sort of mind you have, maybe,
maybe each person has a different experience of God, God the indefinable, the infinite creator of a universe that is finite by virtue of its “beginning”
isn’t that an insult to an infinite creator to say that “his?” creation is finite?
What is apparently infinite is the debate about the indefinable One.

Thank-yoyu for clarifying. Just curious: whywould you think Him offended by that which He clearly declares in His Own written Word; that the universe is finite? He told us of its beginning, itsending, and the creationto come of a new heaven and Earth. Something that has a beginning and an end is obviously finite.

    From ICE:

The purpose of Satan in creating the ruse of Muhammad and the ensuing Islam sect was to lead some of God’s beloved people away from the Truth and Light of Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and as the only source of salvation for all mankind.

Who is more likely to lead mankind away from salvation and Jesus Christ… God or Satan? Who is more likely to lead Americans away from prayer and Bible study in our public schools… God or Satan? Who is more likely to pass laws in America which allow us poor souls to abort and slaughter babies…… God or Satan? The One True God has commanded us that “Thou Shalt not kill.” There are no addenda to the commandments unless they were mandated by God himself. Who is more likely to enact laws that allow same sex marriage… God or Satan? God has stated in His Holy Bible that the sin of homosexuality is an abomination to Him. Does this connote in any way that God is for these atrocities by men and women of all sects and faiths??

We must all pray for all of those of all religions, sects, races and ethnicity’s, who have been enslaved by Satan, that they may repent from their sin and disbelief and come to believe in Salvation in the Son of God. God has been warning and punishing all mankind for some time now through His “storm Winds” that we most repent from our sins, and that we must know, love and serve Him and love our neighbor as ourselves. If we do not repent and turn away from sin, God;s “Storm Winds” will continue to increase exponentially in frequency and magnitude until we see the Light and do His Will.

May the Beloved Lord bless all people of all faiths and nations in all things always.

    @ Sandra Lee Smith.
So this creation is gonna end and a new one begin? So how do you know that there was not one before this current one began.
Wouldn’t it make more sense to say that an old creation transforms into a new one, just like your breathing, so existence can therefore be regarded as eternal. Back to square one. This is eternity.

    • Sandra Lee Smith says

      Apr 4, 2016 at 7:03 pm

Only to human logic; but consider that we have so badly screwed this creation up, having followed the ways of sin for so long, that God has plans to change it, like a worn out garment, or an old scroll!

    I’m an agnostic.

For me, there has never been any sufficiently convincing proof, that would persuade me to *believe* in Christ.

Nevertheless, I have always seen that the moral ethics of Christianity are far superior to those of islam.

A few thoughts on the Annuciation.

I’ve always noted, that the angels are always very careful to * reassure’ those whom they appear to. Clearly, the appearance of an angel is terrifying, so much so, that the angel Gabriel is determined to assure Mary she has nothing to be frightened of. And Mary evinces cool and admirable grace, at what must have been a pretty overwhelming and terrifying experience.

When one contrasts this, with the pusillanimous behaviour of mohammed, shuddering and shivering under Khadijah’s bed, and moaning about how ‘jibreel’ had basically treated him like shit:; how could anyone, with the slightest critical faculty, compare the two experiences ? Only if you are a determined fool.

Really, is not this just another example of how mohammed, hearing something or other, from Jews or Christians, decided to incorporate it into his insane and evil. world view.

To me, this reeks of shameless opportunimouisim.

Mirren10, The Considine creature seems to have banned me from his blog. I wonder if you know of anyone who thinks it worthwhile pointing out his deceptions to his readers.

      https://craigconsidinetcd.com/2016/04/04/heres-why-young-men-become-terrorists-and-what-we-can-do-about-it/

      Read and vomit:

“These questions have no simple answers. Perhaps it begins by creating a safe space that brings out the various talents of diverse communities. Once we have created that space, then we can amass talent that can nourish us all.”

Personally I’d be grateful for a space safe from Muslims. Europe used to be one.

    Hi, ECAW.

”Mirren10, The Considine creature seems to have banned me from his blog. I wonder if you know of anyone who thinks it worthwhile pointing out his deceptions to his readers.”

I can’t say I’m surprised, ECAW. What I found surprising was him tolerating your comments, at all. But you must have done something to provoke him ! Did you draw a cartoon of him ? 🙂

I’ve just been over there, and posted the link below, and highlighted the final bin laden quote ( the one about hating us because we won’t accept islam, no other reason).

It seems to have posted, I’ll go back in a couple of days and see if it’s still there.

      Thanks Mirren10, you’re a pal.

I think what really narked him was this comment I left on his own university’s website:

      http://news.rice.edu/2016/03/14/freedom-of-religion-civic-rights-were-important-components-of-a-muslim-nation/

Several visitors have come from there and looked at the blogpost. It would be gratifying to think that a few people there, his own students perhaps, have started to question his infallibility.
