More insight into how well that much-vaunted “vetting process” is going to work.
“Berlin government allegedly supports Hezbollah activists through refugee project,” by Benjamin Weinthal, Jerusalem Post, April 20, 2016:
NEW YORK CITY: Senior employees of a Berlin-based theater project designed to assist refugees—which is funded by the Berlin government—are activists for the EU-designated terrorist organization Hezbollah, it has been alleged on Tuesday.
Nadia Grassman, the artistic director of the theater project Refugee Club Impulse (RCI) and her sister Maryam, a pedagogical director at RCI, were key organizers in the annual pro-Hezbollah and pro-Iranian regime al-Quds Day rally, according to a Tuesday report in the Berliner Zeitung daily.
The paper reported that at the al-Quds Day rally in 2015 “anti-Semitic slogans were chanted and the abolition of Israel was called for.”
The Berlin-based office of the American Jewish Committee alleged that the Grassman sisters support their father Jürgen Grassman, who completed the registration process for the al-Quds Day protest in Berlin.
Video and photographs showed Nadia on the loudspeaker truck at the al-Qud Day rally while Maryam distributed flyers, collected donations, and provided posters, reported the Berliner Zeitung. Multiple photographs from the event also revealed Maryam sporting earrings with the Hezbollah logo.
It is unclear if the donations received by Maryam were used to fund the terrorist activities of the Lebanese-based Shi’ite organization in Syria and against Israel.
The RCI is slated to receive 100,000 Euros from the Berlin government for refugee work. Public taxpayer funds have been furnished to the RCI for a number of years.
Nadia told Andreas Kopietz, the Berliner Zeitung journalist, “I don’t play an active role at the al-Quds demonstration.”
She said her work with refugees is “to hear the many diverse voices and to give those voices impulses so they that they themselves can reflect. Social projects are political but we are not partisan.”Jürgen Grassmann told the paper that the “co-organizers of the [al-Quds Day) demonstration are not my daughters. But they support their father.”
An interior spokesman for Berlin’s Green Party and a member of the Berlin city Senate, Benedikt Lux, said there “is a danger that the project [RCI] funds will be used for anti-Semitic forces.”
According to a Jerusalem Post review of the 2014 Berlin intelligence report, the most recent document covering Islamism in Berlin, found that there are 250 active Hezbollah members in the capital. Across Germany, there are a total of 950 Hezbollah members. The number of Hezbollah supporters is believed to be significantly higher in the Federal Republic than the data listed in intelligence reports.
In 2014, Germany shut down the Lebanon Orphan Children Project (Waisenkinderprojekt Libanon e.V.) The group claimed to be a humanitarian organization but was closed for funding terrorism.
Lebanon Orphan Children Project provided funds to the al-Shahid (“The Martyr”) Association in Lebanon. Al-Shahid was “disguised as a humanitarian organization” and “promotes violence and terrorism in the Middle East using donations collected in Germany and elsewhere,” according to a 2009 European Foundation for Democracy report by German security expert Alexander Ritzmann
The EU along with Germany proscribed Hezbollah’s military wing to be a terrorist entity in 2013. Hezbollah members blew up an Israeli tour bus in Bulgaria in 2012, which killed five Israelis, their Bulgarian bus driver, and injured over 30 people. Germany permits Hezbollah’s so-called political wing to operate.
The late Christian Democratic Union deputy Philipp Missfelder told the Post in 2012: “It is long overdue to place Hezbollah on the EU’s list of terror organizations.” Missfelder’s call to outlaw Hezbollah’s entire organization was ignored by Chancellor Angela Merkel’s administration.
The US, Canada, and the Netherlands classify Hezbollah as a monolithic terrorist entity. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said at AIPAC’s policy conference in March that Hezbollah’s entire structure should be banned in Europe.
International al-Quds Day – initiated by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the Islamic Republic’s founder, in 1979 – is an annual global event calling to destroy the Jewish state.
Photographs of anti-Israel activists at the al-Quds Day rallies in 2014 and 2015 in Berlin showed boycott Israel signs. The al-Quds Day movement in Germany is part of the Boycott, Divestment Sanctions (BDS) movement.
Israel’s ambassador to Germany blasted the 2015 al-Quds Day march in the capital city, saying “It is a disgrace that in Germany a march full of hate, agitation and anti-Semitism can take place,” the diplomat said.
After the Israeli embassy complained about Commerzbank providing an account to the al-Quds Day organization, the bank terminated its al-Quds day account in September….

Europe is on the verge of a bloody civil war. When it strikes Germany and other countries with full force, these idiot Europeans will still blame America and Israel instead of understanding Islam by reading the “holy” Koran (garbage).
Are there any JW readers planning a vacation in Europe this summer? Just curios.

Hi folks, a bit off topic, but
here’s some good news.
===================
Brief recap, the AfD is a new German party, founded only 3 years ago, and by now in between 2nd and 4th place, depending on federal county… Frau Frauke Petry, leader of the party, has already stated that the federal border police and the regular police at the borders should use and employ the constitutional right, and duty, to repel anyone who wants to cross the border illegally or without sufficient reason, by use of firearms – after a warning of course.
The new party manifesto will be issued in two weeks. However, they have already released some of what will be in there, namely, and enjoy!:
1) An end to the defamation of critics of Islam as Islamophobes, Racists etc. That will become illegal.
2) Prohibition for unconstitutional organizations to build and / or to operate mosques
3) Prohibition of the financing of mosques by Islamic states or foreign financiers
4) Any imams will have to educated in German universities and in German (not Arabic or any other language)
5) Prohibition of minarets and muezzin prayer calls
6) Denial of the status of a “public rights body/institution” (my best possible translation of the actual German, I think you can guess the meaning) of all Islamic organizations.
7) Prohibition of Burqas in public
8) Prohibition of any type of headscarf for teachers and pupils / students
You can guess, the enemedia (what Pamela Geller calls them) exploded, NSDAP comparisons, the usual bull… However, there’s a highly – if not extremely – significant exception, the ‘Bild Zeitung’, probably Europe’s largest tabloid, the (financial) flagship of the Springer Verlag, Europe’s equivalent to Murdoch.
They seem to have recently began to disengage from the “hurrah for refugees” theatre clap trap. Perhaps the magnates are sensitive to were, and on what, we spend our money, just a thought. Be that as it may, the Bild Zeitung articled that it is unwise for the major parties to condemn, and to badmouth the AfD. Instead, they should be engaged in dialogue, and then proven to be wrong. They stated further that a large part of the views of populace should not be ignored, or ridden rough-shot over by the mainstream parties. Which is a tell tale, coming from such a paper. Consider this, and smile, the AfD is polled with 15% currently, but many of those questioned don’t want to be slandered as Islamophobes, Nazis etc. Before the German Super-Sunday the AfD polled a mere 7-9% at best. However, it averaged ~20%, and in Saxony it put the CDU in the second or third place. To put that into context, until about 10 or 15 years ago the CDU and the SPD pulled between them something like 80-90%. Merkel has practically taken the CDU from the right center / conservative to the left of the SPD, which is now more left than ever. They current poll is ~38-39% for the CDU, whilst the SDP is down to it’s lowest in modern German history, 19%… And, as said, AfD 15%, after existing for only 3 years. Take heart Trump supporters, you are on the right track.
People, it gets better.
Many, or at least some of you, will remember Helmut Kohl, chancellor of reunification, chummy with Ronny Reagan. It was stipulated or understood that NATO stays where it is, and even the Bundeswehr would not move into the former east Germany. Fat chance, Kohl had the Bundeswehr in east Germany within weeks, and thus NATO. And continued to press for and prepare NATO’s eastern expansion. Even his friend Reagan was rather skeptical if that could be pulled off. In essence, Kohl is the grand old man of European politics, if not western politics, I think he’s the oldest of the survivors. He’s now 86 and wheelchair bound, and everyday counts…
Right, scene is set. Despite his frailness and long term absence from politics he invited an active, serving politician, whom he never met and who is many years his junior, for a personal visit, and a full hour at that! And a head of state on top of that – who duly came and attended. Practically an audience, guess whom: Victor Orban! One hour. The press was out in force, but preselected by Kohl’s guards. Victor Orban presented flowers and they talked. There was a joined statement and two personal comments. The statement was that Mrs. Merkel runs Germany and her politics are good – so said Victor Orban, and Kohl. Diplomatically.
Victor Orban said as a personal comment that a gentleman, or dean, like Mr. Kohl should not be pressed into current politics, and instead should be able to enjoy his peace and remaining time.
Helmut Kohl said as a personal comment that it was wrong to let such a vast, uncontrollable number of refugees into Europe, and Germany. He said further that it is right for Europe to help in such a humanitarian catastrophe to the utmost of its abilities – in their home or safe countries. Which can provide them with a compatible environment. And then added that Victor Orban ran his country wisely. (I translated as much as I transliterated).
Voctor Orban left beaming, like a kid who received his most desired present at an early Christmas.
Personally, I think Merkel is drooling venom and looking for a voodoo priest. And perhaps resents the day she stabbed Kohl, her former mentor, in the back. Ah, sweet justice, how does it go? Revenge tastes best when enjoyed cold. Revenge? How about, vendetta?!
I trust you liked, and enjoyed, the off topic news…
Regards all, DFD
(And forgive me for a bit of cross posting 🙂 )
Angemon says
DFD, if those are the values of AfD, Germans should consider themselves blessed. Considering, how deaf and blind the major national political parties in Europe are to the their population’s stance on the “refugee” crisis (I’m generalizing, I know that some countries have actually level-headed leaders) and, as such, creating a breeding ground for actual racist parties to fester, Germans have a remarkably level-headed alternative. That the Bild argued for AfD to be not shout out with cries of “racism” and “bigotry” but reasoned with should be seen as a victory for AfD – the Bild can read the direction the wind blows, and they’re realizing that they can’t (at least for the time being) continue get away with it. I hope the AfD can carry on its momentum and keep growing. If for nothing else, for the sake of the German people. Most “Syrian” “refugees” are making a bee line for wither Sweden or Germany, not for Italy, Greece, Macedonia, Spain or any other European country where the’d have to work for a living, so Germans will bear the brunt of the invasion.
Charli Main says
” creating a breeding ground for actual racist parties to fester ”
Brilliant point !!!!!!!! Uncontrolled Muslim mass immigration into Europe has been a God send for all the REAL racist Neo-Nazi parties. They pounce on the activities of the Muslims infesting Europe TO DEAMONISE ALL IMMIGRANTS and further their own vile anti Semitic and racist agendas.
Angemon says
Indeed, they are the ones who stand to win if the discourse if run by the cries of “racism” or “bigotry”. They’ll just go “yeah, we are. Now, do you want this invasion dealt with or do you want New Year’s Eve in Cologne to be the norm? You’re free to spit in our faces to save appearances just as long as you vote for us. Votes are secret, you know?”. And sooner or later people will vote for them because there’s no alternative – it’s either them or the people who call you a “racist” for saying that the person who assaulted you was “north-African” or “turkish” because the people who actually understood what was going on and tried to do something about it were shout out of the scene.
Custos Custodum says
Al Quds? Even the article does not trouble to explain what this key term (also used as a loan word in Persian) actually means.
Al-Quds is the name given by Arab Muslim supremacists to Jerusalem. Israeli Arabs often do not pronounce the “q” sound and say “Al-‘uds” instead.
The elite unit within Iran’s “Islamic Revolutionary Guards” (quasi-military) forces is known as the “Al-Quds Brigade” (i.e. “Jerusalem Brigade”) which reflects the religious aspiration to annihilate Jerusalem. BTW Islam does not worry about “collateral damage” to Muslims.
If Hitler’s SS in 1937 had openly formed an elite “Moscow Brigade” in 1938, would the name have been regarded as significant?
mortimer says
The Leftist parties have made a catastrophic error in allying themselves with Muslim supremacism, thinking that with such an alliance they can destroy European traditions. The result can only be the rape, impoverishment and Shariafication of Europe leading to the ending of everything that may be considered ‘European’, including Leftism.
mortimer says
Quote: “An interior spokesman for Berlin’s Green Party and a member of the Berlin city Senate, Benedikt Lux, said there “is a danger that the project [RCI] funds will be used for anti-Semitic forces.””
No kidding!
They are shocked…shocked…to learn that Muslims are overwhelmingly anti-Semitic! What a surprise!
Leftists never bothered to read Islam’s foundational, source texts so…they don’t pick up a book in order to learn about Islam…no…they simply look up Islam IN THEIR GUT.
Forget facts and truth…Leftists only use ‘truthiness’. Truthiness is what you FEEL to be true…IN YOUR GUT.

“Al-Quds” is the Muslim name for “Jerusalem”, and is only used by those who wish to see Israel destroyed.
And here’s more on Refugee Club Impulse–you can see that its main function is *not* as a theater club. (I ran this through Google Translate from the original German–it’s a bit clunky, but its meaning is quite clear):
“About Refugee Club Impulse RCI”
https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.impulse-projekt.de/refugee-impulse-club-2014/&prev=search
“Keep Power for the right to stay.
“To mediate against the objective of the border regime, the incoming people feel to feel strange and undesirable here, our goal is to give people impulses to have them the opportunity that they can find a home here. By Any Means neccessary. Our activism has the motto ‘Nobody gives us the voice – we take us'”
This is all about flooding Europe with more Muslim “refugees”, and ensuring that none may be deported.
