Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Saudi involvement in 9/11 “deliberately covered up at highest levels” of US government

Apr 17, 2016 7:03 pm By Robert Spencer

What has the U.S. gained by doing the Saudis’ bidding all these years? Has global jihad terrorism abated? Have the Saudis stopped spreading their violent and virulent Wahhabi ideology around the world? Have the Saudis stopped the rise of the Islamic State? In fact, the whole “alliance” has been a disaster that has severely weakened the United States.

Bush-and-Abdullah

“How US covered up Saudi role in 9/11,” by Paul Sperry, New York Post, April 17, 2016:

In its report on the still-censored “28 pages” implicating the Saudi government in 9/11, “60 Minutes” last weekend said the Saudi role in the attacks has been “soft-pedaled” to protect America’s delicate alliance with the oil-rich kingdom.

That’s quite an understatement.

Actually, the kingdom’s involvement was deliberately covered up at the highest levels of our government. And the coverup goes beyond locking up 28 pages of the Saudi report in a vault in the US Capitol basement. Investigations were throttled. Co-conspirators were let off the hook.

Case agents I’ve interviewed at the Joint Terrorism Task Forces in Washington and San Diego, the forward operating base for some of the Saudi hijackers, as well as detectives at the Fairfax County (Va.) Police Department who also investigated several 9/11 leads, say virtually every road led back to the Saudi Embassy in Washington, as well as the Saudi Consulate in Los Angeles.

Yet time and time again, they were called off from pursuing leads. A common excuse was “diplomatic immunity.”

Those sources say the pages missing from the 9/11 congressional inquiry report — which comprise the entire final chapter dealing with “foreign support for the September 11 hijackers” — details “incontrovertible evidence” gathered from both CIA and FBI case files of official Saudi assistance for at least two of the Saudi hijackers who settled in San Diego.

Some information has leaked from the redacted section, including a flurry of pre-9/11 phone calls between one of the hijackers’ Saudi handlers in San Diego and the Saudi Embassy, and the transfer of some $130,000 from then-Saudi Ambassador Prince Bandar’s family checking account to yet another of the hijackers’ Saudi handlers in San Diego.

An investigator who worked with the JTTF in Washington complained that instead of investigating Bandar, the US government protected him — literally. He said the State Department assigned a security detail to help guard Bandar not only at the embassy, but also at his McLean, Va., mansion.

The source added that the task force wanted to jail a number of embassy employees, “but the embassy complained to the US attorney” and their diplomatic visas were revoked as a compromise.

Former FBI agent John Guandolo, who worked 9/11 and related al Qaeda cases out of the bureau’s Washington field office, says Bandar should have been a key suspect in the 9/11 probe.

“The Saudi ambassador funded two of the 9/11 hijackers through a third party,” Guandolo said. “He should be treated as a terrorist suspect, as should other members of the Saudi elite class who the US government knows are currently funding the global jihad.”

But Bandar held sway over the FBI.

After he met on Sept. 13, 2001, with President Bush in the White House, where the two old family friends shared cigars on the Truman Balcony, the FBI evacuated dozens of Saudi officials from multiple cities, including at least one Osama bin Laden family member on the terror watch list. Instead of interrogating the Saudis, FBI agents acted as security escorts for them, even though it was known at the time that 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudi citizens.

“The FBI was thwarted from interviewing the Saudis we wanted to interview by the White House,” said former FBI agent Mark Rossini, who was involved in the investigation of al Qaeda and the hijackers. The White House “let them off the hook.”

What’s more, Rossini said the bureau was told no subpoenas could be served to produce evidence tying departing Saudi suspects to 9/11. The FBI, in turn, iced local investigations that led back to the Saudis….

The larger point is that 9/11 and many later atrocities are part of a broad strategy to intimidate ALL “kuffar” into complying with ever more outrageous demands. At the same time, the U.S. government wasted no time giving itself outrageous and unconstitutional powers of control over its own citizens.

As with Mafia organizations, the bosses of the global Islam conspiracy have secured for themselves comprehensive protection – note the shameful details above about U.S. officials acting as lackeys for Saudi princelings.

The tacit deal is that the U.S. will stop at the “buffer.” Investigations for each terrorism incident will stop at the actual gunmen or bombers, while the mosque infrastructure, funding, international training etc. are left alone to facilitate the next operation.

Neither the US nor Russia have agreements with the “Iranian people”–these are all agreements with the Mullahs. The idea that either are somehow bypassing the regime and dealing directly with the people is absurd.

Add to that that the “Iranian people” are regularly screaming “Death to Israel!” and “Death to America!”, and this makes even less sense.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has been a hideous Shrai’ah state for over thirty-five years now. The idea that the Mullahs have no support at all there–despite constant claims along these lines–simply is not plausible.

To begin with, I despise the Saudi regime, both because, in general, it is authoritarian and, specifically, because it is a major keeper of the Islamic flame. Having stated this, it is equally accurate to state, I believe, that al-Qaeda detested the Saudi regime and does to this very day (and ditto for many other Islamic terrorist organizations——-yes indeed, Muslims hating other Muslims, all the while all of these bastards hate the kuffaar, is definitely a “given” in life so sick is Islam).

So, I have to ask, what is really going on? I will here proffer a possibility. Mind now, it is only a possibility, a hypothesis and no more, and I readily admit several others could be put forward. Here it is in a nutshell:

The Saudis, loathsome family that they are, unleashed a beast (principally financially) which is fundamentalist Islam, i.e., Islam in all its “purity,” which the Saudi family at least in theory is definitely simpatico with, but which they could no longer control. This beast turned not only against the West (which the Saudis actually wanted but definitely more slowly, you know, slow, stealth, demographic jihad versus fast, stealthless, and with not much of an emphasis on the “demographic thing”). So, the venomous Islamic snake which the Saudis nurtured turned on them and not just the West.

Thereafter ,American politicians, like Bush 43, with extremely limited knowledge about Islam, looked upon the Saudis, a strategic partner geopolitically speaking since the days of FDR, as a victim too, this egregious misconception very likely aided by soothing lies by the Saudis about how al-Qaeda and what al-Qaeda perpetrated on 9/11 had nothing to do with Islam (even though it very much did, seeing that Islam and terrorism go hand-in-hand the whole way back to the warped character of Mohammed himself, who said, “I have been made victorious with terror” {Bukhari Hadith 4.52.220}). And so this mendacity (on the Saudi part) and the continued ignorance on the American part (e.g., John Kerry’s risible statements about Islam being a ROP) amount to a possible exculpation of the Saudi regime though clearly it should not———and not so much specifically 9/11 per se but for the overall attempt by the Muslim world, and certainly by the extremely wealthy Saudis, to destroy Western Civilization and establish Islamic dominance over the West.

Ah, mendacity by Muslims and ignorance of Islam by well placed Americans does not add up to something good—–to put it mildly. In any case, I would welcome constructive criticism of the hypothesis I stated above.

The US government has what is often referred to as the “Petrodollar Agreement” with the saudi royal family. It began during the Nixon era, and bailed the US out of a serious economic situation. It continues to keep the US Gov. afloat, but constantly adds to its foreign debt.

Under the agreement, the US protects the saudis. In return, the saudi royals price and sell their oil in US dollars. The great benefit to the US government is that when other countries want to buy saudi oil, they buy US treasury bills with their own money, and then trade the t-bills for the saudi oil. Their buying of US t-bills keeps the US Gov. from going bankrupt. The saudis now hold so many of those t-bills that they control the United States’ foreign policy, and some internal policy as well. To get washington to follow saudi instructions, all they need to do is hint that they might sell off t-bills. Countries then wanting to buy saudi oil would buy US t-bills at a discount from the saudis, instead of the US government, which would find it difficult to impossible to sell new t-bills, and could go bankrupt before the saudis stop selling (because they ran out of them, or whatever).

The saudi royal family only maintains power in “saudi arabia” as long as it continues to fund the country’s religious establishment, which in turn funds the global jihad.

I hope I’ve described the situation correctly. If not, I don’t think I’m far off.

      • Wellington says

        Apr 17, 2016 at 10:02 pm

Much thanks for that reply, Mark. It is demonstrative of how money and not ethics, nor philosophy, nor even one’s own geopolitical interests, nor most anything else, even to the point of long-term preservation, is king.

Well, if we had a Calvin Coolidge, Founding-Fathers kind of government, which is to say, a la Jefferson, that government is best which governs least, America would not nearly be so beholden to the Saudis or anyone else for that matter. Just as the bigger the government diminishes the citizen, the inescapable and bitter irony is that the bigger the government the worse off even the government is. Democrats know this not at all. And Republicans only marginally so.

BTW, doesn’t China and Japan have the US “over the barrel” where treasury securities are concerned, even more than the damn Saudis? I think so but at least they aren’t Muslim.

          Apr 19, 2016 at 7:56 pm

That’s an interesting point about China and Japan. Seeing how they have the US “over the barrel” one would think that US government would not be so hostile towards them but instead reserve their hostility for SA.
Could it be that neither China nor Japan are primitive to actually start terrorizing Americans so they have nothing ot worry about?
Or do you think it’s a matter of importing Islam into the west as the globalists want in order to control the world/

He imposed Islam by the sword ,getting 1/5 of the booty from all raids for himself and added several verses in the Koran to suit his sexual desires (per wife Aisha). He decapitated the captive ~800 men of the jewish Qurayza tribe ,raped the same night Safiya the wife of the slain jewish chief, enslaved the surviving women and children and exiled the other two jewish tribes and the Christians from Arabia confiscating their property, because they refused to convert to Islam. He ordered jihad for World Conquest, that still continues !Therefore ,Muhammad ,”The Perfect Man of Islam”(K 33:21,68:4)was a brutal , bloodthirsty and savage warlord, who deserves no reverence ,but our stern condemnation and revulsion for his crimes and we should be shaming daily ALL muslims ,who have him as an example!
5-DENOUNCE ORTHODOX ISLAM as a violent ,totalitarian ,misogynistic , genocidal, barbaric ,political ideology ( ISLAMOFASCISM)of Arab male supremacism (>80%), disguised as a religion(<20%),incompatible with our Freedoms, Gender Equality ,Human Rights and Democracy, that fights by jihad and soft jihad to subjugate the entire world !
6-DEPORT ORTHODOX MUSLIMS AND STOP MUSLIM IMMIGRATION TO NON MUSLIM COUNTRIES UNLESS THE IMMIGRANT DENOUNCES PUBLICLY ISLAM the source of all this bloodshed and evil and vows to uphold the Human values and Democratic Constitution of the host country!Send the muslim refugees to S. Arabia ,which is a vast rich country ,where they can stay ,until they can return to their countries!

When political correctness is abandoned and these facts are discussed openly daily and become widely known ,millions of muslims especially WOMEN ,with our support ,will ABANDON ISLAM to join Humanity and the miserable ,barbaric empire of Islam with its Jihad and suicide bombers will implode and collapse the way the oppressive Soviet Union did in 1989!

I hope these reports are untrue. Because, if they are true, and there was a coverup at the highest level, then one would not know what to think. The 2996 people who lost their lives on that dark day were betrayed by their own government. It would be the treason of the worst kind.

The brutality with which our American brothers and sisters were struck on that black day, only to be let down with those elected to protect them in the aftermath.

These powerful people got away, yet innocent people who share a name with some evil people are regularly detained by TSA and interrogated. Nowadays, even the cerebral Robert Spencer is stopped and questioned at airports, which people who have a track record of wishing harm on others not only do so, but escape afterward. As disgusting as this cover up is, it is a long way from this to the idea that 9/11 was actually perpetrated by the American government against its own people. You are deep in conspiracy theory territory here.

Besides, why would you believe that 9/11 had nothing to do with Jihad? Haven’t Jihadists made their enmity to us abundantly clear?

Do you think that all 28,175 Jihad terror attacks were also pulled off by the ‘filthy Infidel’? If so, why are you even here at Jihad Watch?

If there is a single issue we can rally around to get the most from our efforts regarding the global jihad this just might be it. The potential impact of declassification cannot be overstated. If nothing else, Saudi Arabia’s malevolence will finally be exposed and can enter the calculus of related policy. We MUST succeed with this to begin the process of removing Saudi inroads to the West.

Below is an easy to use website which one can use to see if his/her representative and senators are cosponsors of the needed legislation, which is:

    Senate Bill 1471

    House Resolution 14

Additionally, the website makes it easy to contact said representatives and even has pre-written letters detailing the aims and importance of the legislation. It has been far too long, so please pass this along to anyone who might care enough to demand their politicians do right by the American people and decent people the world over.

Holding hands and kissing greetings on the cheeks is normal there among close friends. (But male and female would never do so publicly, so it would only be male with male and female with female in public). King Abdullah was showing Geo. Bush supreme deference by engaging in the hand holding. I even know American military who were training the Saudis and their Arab counterparts would hold hands with them if they had become good chums during the training. It is strange to us but isn’t a “gay” thing (at all) on their parts. It shows acceptance and friendship among men. I am not defending it, just explaining it.

Osama bin Ladin was the link….a Saudi…Islam was the motive. If ever there was a doctrine to study and try to grasp it would be Islam, sharia law, and the writings about the Prophet. It has a history old tradition and cause to spread itself and to obey it’s commands, never to change one word about deception (misdirection) and how to fight jihad.

I have no doubt that the world of International relationships, diplomacy, have protocols to follow in dealing with other “governments”, it just that the ME was so completely different and no one could deduct how much, without reading the doctrine that rules this world and had always would eventually erupt, It is all different..and has spread so much, it is a mesmirizing and threatening,.it is ancient. It was a market the U.S, helped develop and was able to purchase at a price this oil….it was at a time of massive growth. The relationships of the Presidents may have not known what was coming, failed to learn, doing business for our benefit. I suspect the Saudi’s were on good behavior and friendly to sell this product and prosper. That bond of trust ended after the many attacks that they may have financed…I don’t see a conspiracy only a relationship that turned ugly and had to be understood…I think the lid to control expansion, expired and a long learning curve started to know the enemy who was constantly at war, one that now had a son who wanted to conquer thru terror to fulfill a goal. Dealing with them in the future would not be too good an idea…the ummah should not be invited to grow here. How would anyone explain this betrayal. It will be chilling to see how much of the attack they were aware of and continue to financially support. Iran just got much worse and the OIC dangerous.

America needs to educate itself about the rest of the world. It breaks my heart to hear that Sikhs have been harassed by idiots, for example.

Admittedly the many religions and cults of the world, with all their break away sects, “moderates and extremists”, “observant and non-observants” are a complex and mystifying study, especially when you realize the nonsense about any of them.

All the bitter divisions in the Islamic world simply underline this.

The other aspect to this, that has been discussed above, is the clear differences in levels of civility, respectfulness and honesty in Persians vs Arabs.

Or if the released papers can harm and/or embarrass the Republican party or George W. Bush. Then we usually can read about them on the first pages of New York Times or Washington Post. When this eventually comes out, George W should be up before an international court for treason on this matter, as well as his illegal invasion of Iraq, which had nothing to do with 9/11. Pure lies about WMD’s in Iraq, and Obama is complicit for refusing to publish the 28 pages.

Illegal monitoring of all electronic communications by the NSA, the White House covering up a foreign country’s participation in 9/11, & the Benghazi debacle to name just a few government policies in the last few years. The US public should be mad as hell with its government, the public should stop keeping up with the Kardashians for five minutes & pay attention to what is going on. I’m also expecting Hillary’s sending of top secret emails from her home computer to be swept under the carpet by Obama as well.

USA has a special spot for the Saud and Islam and will never break the link with them.
Aberrations like 9/11 happen time to time, and unfortunately more will no doubt come, but it was also interesting that US could not scramble any F16s in the NY area on 9/11.

US officials will always listen to their pay masters, the 3000 deaths was simply collateral damage. The Sauds will argue that collateral damage is the same the world over and US officials accept this without question.

If Hillary and her state machine get in; do you think she will give a damn about you or the dead collateral? yes you are right …. 3000 or 300 000 and the Saud will still be your pay masters.

The truth is that the American people, American institutions and American politicians have cheapened themselves, tainted their characters down to their very soul to never recover, like a tattoo which simply will not wash off.

Those of you who are still of decent character and still denounce; well your voices will be dampened down by taking away your guns and get to accept 15000 refugees monthly in your neighborhood so that you don’t dare get to keep your conscience.

Like Merkel will go down in History to have enslaved the German women to slavery the same will be done by Hillary to the American Women, what is that women have against other women?

Yes Hillary wants to see those scarves donned in stifling heat, to remind her of the smell and atmosphere of the ME, please remember to get your children’s training in early, to prevent any jealousy.

Top Tip: Learn to live with the knowledge that the Saud will always be your pay masters, and at least sleep soundly at night.

I do not believe what you are saying, certainly not about the American people. And while I loathe Hillary Clinton, I have neither seen nor heard her advocate mandatory scarves for women. I do believe she is on the Saudi payroll, though.
George Bush might or might not have been many things, but I call a halt to any accusation that he participated in the 9/11 attack on New York. While I don’t reject outright that he arranged for Saudis to be evacuated after 9/11 I have seen no evidence of this, only hearsay.
I do believe many American government officials are taking money from the Saudis. I believe that some of our government officials are working in the muslim cause to Sharia-ize this country, Obama being one of them.
It is bad enough. Don’t try to make it worse than it is.

Sorry but I am not making it worse than it is.

The American people are brought up on a diet of capitalism, money, greed and violence.

American values and money are inter-twined into the American physce. The American soul has the $ stamped on it and 99% of the population, the ones who don’t; have come from outside, and are currently undergoing transformation.

Having being the leader of the Western world since the WWII the USA has gone to bed with anybody and everybody who shows them the colour of the $, to be earned legally or illegally; and if a little bit of collateral damage is involved – then so what, it is good for the soul.

Your leaders are not chosen from a special breed – they come and are chosen from amongst you, they represent your values; and they will come from amongst you in the future too.

Despite knowing the dangers , Hillary will be chosen and 50% of your women (perhaps your daughter(s) too) will be wearing the hijab within 3 decades.

Top Tip: The $ are sharia will become one and the same, Americans will come to love the sharia as they love the $.

          Grotesque calumny.

So what is Bada Bhai’s actual view of Islam? Hard to tell in toto, but here is his first appearance here, where he is excoriating Christianity and blaming a woman for her Muslim husband’s trying to murder her on hearing that she had converted to Christianity:

“Why bother to disclose that she saw JC as her savior when clearly he could not save himself.

I think that she said this to clearly antagonise and annoy him, goading him to panga action.”

Salman: What do you mean, Mr. Netanyahu?

Bibi: The Patsy is you, Sal. Referring to such an obedient partner as a ‘sucker’ or even Collateral Damage is downright crude. In essence, expect FBI investigation and the ‘missing 28 pages’ to give your august House of Saud a fair bit of grief and embarrassment, but not anymore that can’t be handled, publicly, with a thick skin.
