Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Egypt: Christian official takes child to Muslim grandfather, orders her to “remove the cross”

May 4, 2016 5:05 pm By Raymond Ibrahim

Nabila Makram

Nabila Makram — the only Coptic Christian currently serving as a minister in the Egyptian government — may have unwittingly exposed how she reached that position during a televised interview.

In the interview, she told the story of a young Egyptian girl named Kariman. Apparently her Muslim mother divorced her father and fled to Italy with an Italian man, taking the girl with her when she was 5-years-old. The man later left the mother, who took Kariman to a convent in Rome and left her in the care of the nuns before reportedly committing suicide.

Four years later, when Kariman was nine, her Muslim grandfather began demanding that the girl be returned to him in Egypt. So Nabila Makram, the Coptic minister, played an “important role,” as she boasted in the interview.

After explaining how difficult it was to extradite the girl from Italy, as Kariman did not want to leave the convent where she was happily living with the sisters, Makram went on to say that “Kariman was flown [to Egypt] wearing a cross, because of course she had grown in a convent — actually, she was raised at the hands of nuns, even though she was a Muslim.”

As a result, Makram — the Christian—“explained to the girl that, sure, faith is in the heart, but you need to take off the cross for you’re returning to your grandfather, to a new life, or rather, your old life.”

The young girl reluctantly complied even though, as Makram admitted, she was immensely upset — so much so that Makram feared she’d take her life in the airplane on the way to Cairo and arranged for an Egypt Air airline attendant to accompany her and keep watch over her during the flight.

Thus Nabila Makram sheds light as to how she, a Coptic Christian, sees her role as a minister in the Egyptian government: to happily behave as one of the dhimmis, third class non-Muslim citizens who know their place.  Instead of letting this young girl remain in safety with the Italian sisters who cared for her, she extradited the girl back to her grandfather—who only seemed to show interest in the girl when she reached the age of nine, when girls can marry based on Muhammad’s precedent with Aisha—all while forcing the girl to cast aside the crucifix.

Such is the Islamic Hate for the Christian Cross.

Nabila Makram appears to be the sort of Copt welcome to positions of authority in Egypt: a sort of “Christian” that lures if not forces a child from a safe and positive environment in order to satisfy a fanatic Muslim grandfather who is more interested in preserving the girl’s Islamic religion than her happiness or wellbeing — certainly not her Christianity.

This poor kid! Shuffled around in a crazy world. Let’s hope and pray for her that the Nuns had some effect in keeping her mind open! I worry she will become rebellious in Egypt and it may be her demise.

    Jesus bless you Kariman!

Apparently, they are too distracted battling with Randy and are forgetting about this poor kid! .

    ………………………..

Dhimmitude in action. Nabila Makram apparently considered toadying to her Muslim overlords more important than the fact that she pulled this girl out of a civilized Christian nation and delivered her over to Muslim barbarism. *Ugh*.

Ugh indeed !! It is worse than dhimmitude, it is betrayal. It is one thing to be a powerless dhimmi, but another to be treasonous , and to an innocent child !!
And equally important : so much for the great Sisi’s Egypt.! I don’t notice much difference (for all his ‘nice blah blah ‘ especially about islam ‘reform ‘ and his visiting churches ) between him and Morsi what with so many in jail for ‘ blasphemy’ etc. Nowadays?. I always believed myself Sisi was just another wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Nabila Makram wasted her time taking this child back to Muslim occupied Egypt. Italy is well on the way to becoming another Islamic occupied country, so she might as well as left the child there.
Imam Francis 11 might even have invited her to Peter´s mosque in Rome and given her lessons on how to correctly read the Koran.

Was this woman the only one who could do this or was this a message they are sending us that they will get their way no matter what or where?
This poor child. What happened to her mother and why was it up to this man to take her anywere?
Italian authorities cannot send this child back while her mother is still in Italy.
We are also told that even if Muslim commit crimes they cannot be deported because of the situation in their own countries so then why did the authorities agree to deport this child?
So much is wrong with this.

Note one is always a Muslim if born to a Muslim branded like a calf from the first breath and of course the only release is death. This is why they claim that Islam is a growing religion because they have many kids and nobody can leave, even if you are not in fact a practising Muslim

Religion is not a race it is a belief like when Egyptians converted from Christianity to Islam because of persecution from Islamic conquests, most Muslims in Egypt are Coptic. Some know it and some don’t depending on the background of the person.

WELCOME TO CATHOLICISM WHICH HAS NO PLACE IN THE KINGDOM OF G-D AS THIS FALSE RELIGION TEACHES THE BLASPHEMY OF WORSHIPING A DEAD WOMAN, WHO WAS A SINNER AT CONCEPTION, DIED AND WAS BURIED IN THE EARTH AWAITING RESSURECTION, AND HAD FOUR SONS AND MULITPLE DAUGHTERS AFTER GIVING BIRTH TO YESHUA/JESUS.

I am deeply appaled reading this bad news. I could hardly believe why Ms Nabila Makram and the Italian authorities succumbed to the demands of Kariman’s grandfather at the expense of her well-being and future. I am praying to Jesus Christ my most merciful father that the girl be kept safe and happy. I am still finding myself hard getting rid of my sadness.

She seems very proud of herself, doesn’t she. She’s like Janet Reno, who had a point to prove too – sending a little boy, practically at gunpoint, back to Cuba to grow up with his father in typical communist squalor was more important than silly things like freedom, opportunity, etc. After all, family reunification is a super important value (cough, at least all of a sudden).

She’s also like the women in some nations who are given government posts, which at first is surprising; then you realize they just carry water for the imams, and the Sharia loving politicians, etc. They wear their hijabs, and act as enforcers, eating up the social and political crumbs their masters drop on the ground while being used as examples of the ‘equality’ of women. Not much difference here.
