Jihad Watch

Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

EgyptAir flight attendant posted picture on Facebook of plane crashing a year before she died in flight MS804

May 20, 2016 2:22 pm By Robert Spencer

What a coincidence. Might Samar Ezz Eldin have been part of a jihad cell that worked to take down the plane? The possibility cannot be dismissed out of hand.

Samar Ezz Eldin

“EgyptAir cabin crew posted picture of plane crashing on Facebook year before tragic flight MS804,” by Simon Robb, Metro.co.uk, May 20, 2016:

A flight attendant on the tragic EgyptAir flight MS804 had posted a picture of a plane crashing, months after she got a job with the airline.

Samar Ezz Eldin, 27, uploaded the haunting image onto Facebook back in September 2014.

It shows a female flight attendant in wet clothes pulling a suitcase out of the water as a plane plunges into the sea behind her.

Eldin, who studied modern languages in Cairo, was among the first victims to be named of the Airbus A320.

The flight was en route from Paris to Cairo with 66 passengers and crew when it vanished on Thursday….

“Haunting image” my arse. It probably just resonated with her (being an air hostess) and she hit “share”. End of story. The French police are on the right track, I reckon, by focusing on airport ground staff.

The most reasonable and most logical explanation.

          May 21, 2016 at 7:10 pm

Idania, I am neither, but I can see your point.

Islam is a plague on the earth. It is a total sham, full of filth, lies and more lies and more filth spewed in attempt to make it look better. Islam is from Satan. Mohammed ( the so called prophet of Islam ) was nothing more than an ignorant rapist, murderer, pedophile, thief and, in the end he died a slow and painful death, which he deserved.
Islam is so full of cantradicrions and stupid logic that it makes my head spin to see even one idiot believe such stupidity. If I could press a button and nuke Mecca I would do it without hesitation.

I do not have hatred for Muslims, I feel sorry for them, but those Muslims that would seek to destroy me I would not hesitate to destroy them given a chance. I think people in governments need to step up to the task of eliminating Islam from earth. Islam should be declared to not be a religion and not given “religious” status in any western country – no tax breaks, no “sanctuary” in mosques. Any mosque connects to terrorism will get shut down and the properties confiscated and mosque destroyed. ( and I would apply that to churches and temples as well ) the best way to destroy Islam is to not allow it to get away with stuff – and give its members a path to leave it without fear of death or retribution. Muslims can’t help themselves, they need the kuffar to give them the opportunity to leave.

I would also like trade and travel sanctions against all countries that have not signed the universal declaration of human rights – and by that I mean sign it, make it law of the land, and live up to it in practice. ( e.g. Saudi Arabia banned slavery in the 1960’s, but still unofficially allows it ) SA should not be allowed to travel/trade with the west until if comes up to modern human rights standards. And that should go for all countries.

What is fair is fair, and those who are not fair should not Benefit from the efforts of those whom are not.

Well,Steve Klein, I’m sorry to admit that I have no idea what “grasshopper” is meant to portray, but while I have your attention, I’d like to tell you a GREAT grasshopper story. I hope Alarmed Pig Farmer happens to read it, too. He’ll understand very well.

I worked for a book publishing company. It was run by Fred Praeger. He was so brill. I loved him; I hated him. I was “Marketing Manager” for him at Westview Press. Back in the day.

        • quotha raven says

          May 20, 2016 at 9:47 pm

Sorry., Didn’t finish. My grasshopper story is this:

We published a book about Water. In it, the author talked about seeding clouds with aluminum bits. This would – and did – provide snow in ski areas when regular weather didn’t.

I asked the author off the record (I was not speaking as Fred’s marketing manager) whether the addition of a bit of aluminum to every rain/snow drop wasn’t a little environmentally aggressive, and he said
(or words to this effect) “The only environmental impact we’ve observed it that it makes grasshoppers horny!:\

OMG sure enough the very next year, crops in southeastern Colorado were devastated by an unprecedented crop of…grasshoppers. And the farmers applied for emergency aid from the Fed govt. ! And that’s all I know about grasshoppers, possums!

          cheers!

          May 21, 2016 at 2:37 pm

Quotha, the “grasshopper” reference comes from the popular and influential 1970s television drama “Kung Fu”. There were many flashbacks to the main character’s time with his master in China. When he learned a lesson well, he would praise him and call him “grasshopper”, meaning something along the lines of young student.

This has now entered pop culture here. If someone says something perceptive, one might respond, as Steve did, with something like “very wise, grasshopper”. It is less common, but the phrase is also occasionally used ironically, when someone does or says something very *unwise*. In this case, it is usually a very gentle rebuke.

Are the alarm bells ringing yet? They should be.

The alarm bells should have started ringing at least 40 years ago when Turkish Airlines DC 10 crashed with of 300 lives lost on a short France to UK hop. The 2 principal causes were the failure of the Airline to modify known defects to the cargo door AND the use of an illiterate north African cargo handler who could not read the instruction on how to shut the same door. Even back then the authorities decided not to take any action, almost as in “we can not prosecute this poor migrant”

Then in 1999 an Egypt Air passenger plane was deliberately crashed into the sea off NY, I think the copilot cried “God is great” (in Arabic) just before he made the suicidal plunge. If I remember correctly it was blamed on his “depression”.(Can’t tell the truth about Islam) But at the time everyone was blaming anyone but the co-pilot, eg the CIA, Mossad etc.

There was also the recent Russian aircraft that went down in the Sinai shortly after taking off from Cairo, a bomb is still suspected, most likely smuggled on board in co-operation with suspect security staff at Cairo International.

Malaysin Airlines.Flight MH370. Still missing. Islamic connections? Almost certainly.

We also have the continued warnings on this website about all of the Muslin staff employed at international airports in the West. Just one Islamic baggage handler in any major airport be it Paris or NY is enough to compromise the whole security system.

Will the alarm bells start ringing, will PC and Muslim sensitivities be put aside when the crash of MS804 is investigated.

And, my only involvement with an Egyptian airline, as a tourist some years ago, in a word, chaotic.

      • Henricus says

        May 21, 2016 at 5:44 am

The Russian ‘plane that crashed in Sinai had taken off from Sharm el Sheik Airport. There have been sackings of ground staff and “improvements” to security, but I expect that it will soon revert to the slack default situation. However many airlines no longer fly there.

          May 21, 2016 at 6:43 am

Thank you Henricus, are correct about the point of departure for the Russian aircraft.

From my limited experience and involvement with Egypt I just can’t see proper air travel security any time soon. It seems to be a society which at one level wants to be part of the modern world and even genuinely friendly to western tourists but at the same time the vast majority of Eqyptians are very poor, quite corrupt, uneducated, traditionalists and fanatically Islamist.

EgyptAir 990 redux? According to the Wikipedia article, the “relief pilot” repeatedly said “I rely on Allah” as he shut the engines off and split the flaps. But what happened to the sea captain claiming to see a “ball of fire” in the sky? Now the “authorities” are saying there was no explosion. Hmmm… My wife and I will definitely be saying some prayers as we board an El Al flight to Israel later this summer.

    • gravenimage says

      May 20, 2016 at 3:58 pm

El Al has by far the best security protocols in the business, Rickey. Despite the specific threats to Israel, you are probably safer than you’d be on other Western airlines–and *much* safer than on a Muslim-run airline like Egypt Air. I hope you and your wife have a great trip!

      • Cynthia in California says

        May 20, 2016 at 4:05 pm

El Al was the first airline to have reinforced cockpit doors, to prevent hijack-style takeovers of the pilot and co-pilot (navigator as well, if there were three in the cockpit).

Ever since they reinforced the cockpit doors, there have been no more hijackings of El Al planes. (The West in general didn’t reinforce the doors until after 11 September 2001.)

        • Gungadin says

          May 21, 2016 at 4:46 am

We’re not following El Al’s example of screening the flying public because the American public in the past would never tolerate being third degreed by security forces holding an interrogation of them…….The other problem is because Israel is a much smaller country and as such doesn’t have the volume of travelers we have here in the states; we’d need an awful lot of security personnel to hold their inquisitions of passengers as opposed to the staff they have for El Al flights.

As for me, I’ve had it with all flights l travel by ship or train….I find it much more comfortable and relaxing.

      May 21, 2016 at 2:14 pm

How in the world can you condemn this post as “cruel and unfair?”

Ms. Eldin posted the photo on her public FB page which, by the way, is still up. She thought it worthy of posting for others to view. As such, it is fair game for public consumption and opinion. Speaking strictly for myself, I find the image to be in deplorable taste. I find no humor in the image of a doomed aircraft. Ms. Eldin was a flight attendant for crying out loud.

Like it or not, investigators will be digging into the backgrounds of all 66 on board that flight, and that includes their social media activities. Hopefully they will be able to determine and identify all the baggage handlers and others that had access to that plane.

      • gravenimage says

        May 21, 2016 at 3:15 pm

Yes, Ashley. Just as in murder investigations, suspicion can sometimes–for a time, at least–fall on those who are innocent. One thinks especially of husbands and boyfriends of murdered women.

Often these are grieving people further grieved by being considered suspects–but boyfriends and husbands are the actual perps often enough that any in this position realize that the police are just doing their jobs in investigating them, if only to rule them out.

If such a suspect had just posted something about killing his wife–even if it was innocent and turned out to be unrelated (say, the plot of a story he was writing) he could of course expect to come under additional scrutiny.

The above certainly *is* suspicious–and should be treated as such. Whether it turns out to be significant or is just ruled out is something that only investigation will solve.

  9. gravenimage says

    May 20, 2016 at 3:51 pm

The baggage handlers were the first I suspected.

After the Paris attacks, the French found that huge numbers of airport staff, especially baggage handlers, had links to Jihad terror. Some of them are even, ironically, on no fly lists.

Supposedly they cleaned house at Charles De Gaulle Airport, but likely some have fallen through the cracks.

Baggage handling and plane cleaning are low-skilled jobs, and are pretty easy to get, even with a less than complete mastery of the language–and yet gives the workers full access to the airplane, and ample opportunity for sabotage and planting bombs and weaponry.

    • JMB says

      May 20, 2016 at 8:11 pm

On the basis that most of these people all look much like each other it would be very easy for a so called skilled terrorist to use their relative’s or friend’s official ID cards and as you say have full access to aircraft and airport facilities as wall as have a lot of co-operation from like minded friends and relatives who are security guards and such.

    • gravenimage says

      May 21, 2016 at 2:41 pm

True, JMB–but in many cases it would not even be necessary for the card to be passed along–from studies it has been shown that all too many Muslim airport employees are themselves pro-Jihad.

As for train travel–which I love myself, by the way–this is not always safer. Jihadists have attacked trains and subways before, as well as train stations in Spain, Britain, India, China, Russia, and many other places.

I see an emotionally detached (middle eastern) woman walking away from a crashed plane as if she survived it but the other passengers did not.

Islam and Muslims live on in the wake of their destruction?
There is something telling about the symbolism here. Could be wrong but the truth usually comes out. This is highly unusual.

I see a kind of mythological super-airhostess who is phazed by absolutely nothing. Plane crash? No problem – she just walks to beach with her cabin luggage with her uniform in place and her makeup perfect. It is a joke people. Are we going to start demonizing people now because we don’t like their sense of humor?

Wait for the evidence. The black boxes will be recovered and will tell all.

Not hard to understand. It’s like a Muslim holy card. Useful for propaganda. The devil is always a mimic of God.

I didn’t know a would-be jihadi would stroll out of the sea looking ultra Western.

The vile ideology of “Submission’s” “contributions” to the field of aviation remain stubbornly stuck at hijackings, bombings and violence. Without the technological expertise and inventions of the infidel kafirs, Muslims would still be traveling on camelback and communicating via carrier pigeon.

Ironic that an ideology that is predicated on believing its followers to be superior to others, is so obviously inferior in every respect, including creative, scientific and cultural development.

Also, I have to say — who in their right mind would still travel on an airline operated by an Islamic state? Even if there were no security risk, as a matter of principle, I would never support businesses operated by countries and people who are attempting to spread a fascist, supremacist ideology of hate around the world. I don’t care how highly-ranked Etihad, Qatar Airlines and Emirates are by travelers and magazines — any westerner of sound moral conscience should not be supporting Muslim-owned businesses.

Eastern Canada proudly buys oil from Saudi Arabia, Nigeria and dictatorial Venezuela using money given to them by the rest of Canada. By doing so they are seen to approve and support Islamic terror and Sharia.

One possible reason for this accident is that many eastern aircraft carry eau de cologne on the flight deck for ritual washing before and after meals. And since the oxy mask is a convenient shelf, the plastic bottle of eau de cologne often sits on the oxy mask. So you only need a leaky bottle, and a good squirt of 100% oxygen, and you have a flammable mixture – which can even spontaneously combust.

This is why these eastern cockpit fire incidents mostly happen on the ground before flight, when the oxygen system is normally tested. See also the 2012 Corendon cockpit fire at Antalya, and the Egyptair 777 cockpit fire. The NTSB, AAIB and CAA have been notified about this, but they were not interested and no action was taken. So this remains a huge problem in some airlines.

Robert. I respect you for your work and your courage. But the comments section on your blog is turning into a real cesspool. You might want to take a good hard look at it because what goes on here reflects on you. You often challenge people to point to a single hateful comment you have made and are proud of the fact that there are none. And yet you allow people to use your blog comments section to say some very hateful things indeed and you post articles like this one that almost invite hateful comment. Not a good look Robert.

IH- Virtually every quote from the hadiths, koran, sira, and sharia are pristine pure dripping hatred, from a gangland style ideology that has been a repository and progenitor of dripping hatred and crime for 14 centuries. Merely mentioning these quotes is truthful hate of a major enemy. Any intelligent Westerner and one who is conversant as a Bible educated person knows we should hate such evils. In America, it is our Naturally God given right and duty to do so, explaining here what most true educated Americans know, assuming as is apparent that you are from some far off land, or some other belief system, unfamiliar with America.

One of a commenter’s better functions is to add knowledge to a subjects or sometimes bring additional relevant considerations out. Expressing hatred, when recognized, of evil and wrong, is and has been one of the strengths of America, and ideals of the Bible, actually, It is a truly Free people’s privilege and duty, in the West!

islam is 100% opposite of the West, and Freedom, God, Christ, and a proper life, secular or spiritual. islam exists as hatred of all that we stand for in the West. To not hate all such evil that islam stands for, the eternal crimes, the suffering, mental and physical, beyond descriptions, the murders, the eternal abuse and belief in the value of slavery, the eternal excuses of rape and every other crime, would be to actually and simply participate in such depravity, nothing less. No excuse can exist ever for such depravity as is pure islam, period.

No sir, you are totally wrong to make such complaint. It is unknowledgeable whining that you do, because you are uncomfortable with the truth of the subject, which is the islam gang jihad, and the islam hatred of all others and even its own lesser than though selves, that brings it about!

You would be far better to learn about the evil, rather than whine and complain about the criticizers of evil! Learn more here, as well, including the sickness in several other ways of the gang of islam, including hiding the criminal member’s sick actions and behavior, here: http://shoebat.com/2016/05/21/breaking-muslim-pilot-of-flight-804-converted-the-plane-into-a-portable-mosque-and-said-farewell-before-he-crashed-the-plane-and-slaughtered-everyone/ Take note always of how self centered islam is, there is effectively no ‘you’, just ‘me’, to a crime. And note, in Christianity, and Judaism, there is a you centric to be considered, involving helping others to a pain!

Very similar to nazis, mafia and more such organizations. Remember, the top selling, or nearly so, book in total islam countries is mein kampf! Birds of a feather……

From the Shoebat reference just mentioned twice, there is this: Samar Ezz Eldin (EZZ ELDIN MEANS THE GLORY OF ISLAM), 27, put the shot on Facebook in September 2014 — about four months after she landed a gig at the Egyptian airline, the Daily Mail reported.

Which makes her seem like a ‘loaded gun’, as well as this of the captain: ‘But Shakeer was single, 36 years old and refused to marry. This is unusual in that culture. The religious homosexual looking pilot said “HE NEVER WANTED TO GET MARRIED AND HAD NO REASON TO”. One article added Shakeer’s own statements that he is “dying” and was always remarking: “I see one grey hair sprout on my head on every take off and another grey hair sprout every time I land” reports one news source. His brother Bahjat Shakeer statement should also sound alarm bells:
“MY BROTHER MOHAMMED [THE PILOT] CALLED ME BEFORE HE TOOK OFF ON THAT FATEFUL DAY AND ASKED ME TO PRAY FOR HIM AND I DO CONSIDER HIM A MARTYR“.’

It seems he had ‘martyrdom’ on his mind, gnawing at his mind, underneath, building up, bubbling up, to his consciousness, waiting for his moment to act…..brainwashed, mesmerized, until……

Much was known it appears, in Arabic, and inside Egypt, before the doomed flight. And much the same in the Malaysia flight, and more islamic details to learn here, including what others knew, inside Malaysia, and such: http://shoebat.com/2015/08/06/the-missing-mh370-landed-in-the-ocean-by-the-muslim-captain-in-order-to-gain-islamic-martyrdom-by-drowning/

Is she actually a muslim? I saw on other media a memorial service was held at a church in Cairo for one of the Flight attendants, who was evidently a Copt. Not sure if it was this woman though.
