Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Raymond Ibrahim: The West Lies Down Before Saudi Lies

May 11, 2016 7:42 am By Raymond Ibrahim

Adel al-Jubeir

Saudi Arabia—the world’s greatest hypocrite—is at it again.

On February 12, 2016, the Munich Security Conference (MSC) was held.  It’s described as “the world’s largest gathering of its kind”; “the most important independent forum for the exchange of views by international security policy decision-makers,” where “about 350 senior figures from more than 70 countries around the world to engage in an intensive debate on current and future security challenges.”

It’s apparently also where lying about one of the “current and future security challenges”—Islamic terrorism—goes unchallenged.

Enter Adel al-Jubeir, Saudi Arabia’s foreign affairs minister.  This representative of the one nation that has done more than any other to spread radical Islamic ideology spun lie after lie during his 20 minute presentation before a captive audience.

Jubeir began by trying to kill two birds with one stone: distancing Islam from ISIS in a way to demonize and incite the world against Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad:

Daesh [Arabic acronym for ISIS] is a terrorist organization composed of psychopaths who have no religion and no morals. They attract other psychopaths and it’s a cult. And it will be defeated.  But in order to defeat Daesh, we have to deal with what I call the two elephants in the room. One of those elephants is Bashar al Assad.  We cannot defeat Daesh in Syria unless we bring about change in Bashar al-Assad. He is the man who helped create it by releasing radicals from his jails, by allowing Daesh to operate without attacking them, by even trading with them.  He is the man that allowed them to become what they are.

So the Saudi minister of propaganda would have the world believe that the secular, non-Sunni, Assad is the man who “created” and empowers ISIS—a radical Sunni jihadi group born and bred on Saudi Islamic indoctrination and dedicated to overthrowing none other than Assad himself.

Jubeir concluded his Assad rant with a barely veiled threat: “unless and until there is a change in Syria, Daesh [ISIS] will not be defeated in Syria. Period….  When Assad goes, the fertile environment in which Daesh operates in Syria will be removed and we can deal with them.”  When one appreciates how intricately connected Saudi Arabia and ISIS are, this sounds more like, “we will not reign in our mad jihadi dogs until we get our way.”

But it was only during the very brief Q&A portion following Jubeir’s act that the Saudi truly shined.  After he was asked by a brave soul in the audience if ISIS didn’t in fact adhere to certain Islamic tenets, Jubeir responded by mouthing all the main lies, half-truths, and discredited apologias the world has ever heard about Islam:

Every religion has perverts and psychopaths who try to hijack it. ISIS is as much Islamic as the KKK is Christian. Don’t they have a cross? Don’t they do everything in the name of religion and Christ? Don’t they believe that Christ compels them to lynch and kill people of African descent? …For anyone to argue that DAESH is Islamic is preposterous.

Of course, the Bible does not call on Christians to discriminate and kill black people.   Not a single verse.  Christ called for love, mercy, and altruism.  That’s why the KKK represents about .00003% of American Christianity and is vociferously denounced by the other 99.99997%.  (For more read “Are Judaism, Christianity, as Violent as Islam.”)

On the other hand, the Koran does call on Muslims to hate and fight non-Muslims; it doescall for beheadings, mutilations, and crucifixions; it does call for the collection of jizya or extortion money from subjugated minorities; it does permit the sexual enslavement of non-Muslim women and children.  (See “The Islamic State and Islam” for references.)

In short, the Koran does support the actions of ISIS—not to mention the actions of Boko Haram, the Taliban, al-Qaeda, Hamas, Al Shabaab, and  41 Muslim nations that make the lives of Christian minorities a living hell.  That’s why a PEW poll found that at least 63 million and as many as 287 million Muslims in just 11 countries—and 81% of Arabic language Al Jazeera respondents—support what Jubeir dismisses as “psychopaths who have no religion and no morals.”

The Saudi minister also managed to invoke the one Koran verse that is forever on the lips of Islam’s apologists:

In the Islamic faith the Koran reveals that you have your faith and I have my faith [109:6]. You are free to practice your faith and I am free to practice mine. What greater sign of tolerance and acceptance do you have than this?… Keep Reading

The saudis want Assad attacked for a couple of reasons that I can think of. The first is that they don’t want the US and Russia cooperating to halt islam’s march toward world domination, so they pit the two countries against each other in syria and perhaps elsewhere. The second is they don’t want a secular government in an islamic country. Not only has Assad’s government been secular, it has been protecting the local kuffar against islamic aggression.

Very true mortimer! That is the main reason why the US/West are backing the barbaric islamic jihadists in Syria. It is a total insanity!

Try to be a little more consistent, CB. You’ve assured us that the West loves islam and that Putin’s actions in Syria were all for the good of Christians. Now you’re admitting that it’s not about islam or Christianity brotherhood but money and geopolitical influence.

Considering the amount of rabidly anti-Western, and especially anti-US, propaganda being produced under orders from the Kremlin, and seeing how Putin’s hold on power is dependant on presenting himself as the only thing between an EU/US invasion of Russia, I doubt that’s an issue for the Saudis.

No, it isn’t. Did you, or did you not state, on multiple occasions:

          – that America and the West are trying to encircle Russia with the intent to invade?
          – that Outin is defending Russia from the West?
          – that Russia has been invaded by the West several times?
          – That the West supported Nazi Germany when they invaded Russia?

          Does this ring any bells:

Putin is simply protecting Russia from Nato/West who are conspiring to destroy Russia and its global interests. Nato’s push to Russia’s borders is all about to encircle Russia and eventually to destroy its soul through their Anti-Christ, moral relativist “liberal democratic” corruption and Putin and Russia will not allow this to happen.

So apparently, me stating what you’ve stated on multiple occasions is “Pro-jihadist [how does that even work?!?!?!], Russophobic, Nato/US imperialist propaganda”.Tsk tsk…

No, Russia’s stance on the US and the EU is well documented. I doubt the Saudis are fearing a joint US-Russia coalition because Putin went out of his way to make such a cooperation impossible.

I do not have a rosy view of Putin, but I will at least allow that he is a Russian patriot, while the USA is currently governed by a pack of anti-patriots. I also believe very deeply that the liberal moral relativism governing the academic, governmental, and legal circles in my country are the bigger threat than ISIS ever will be. Why? They are disarming America in its very soul.

Saudis are bribing Western emissaries because that is the sacred example of Mohammed. All Muslims must imitate Mohammed.

Among Mohammed’s last words were his ‘three last orders’ one of which was, “…give gifts to the foreign delegations as you have seen me dealing with them.” These orders to bribe non-Muslim emissaries are still in effect.

Our present-day elites are largely bribed by the Gulf money, but which ones? It is easy to spot them: they are secular Westerners who suspiciously promote Islam. No Western has any reason to promote Islam per se. Islam is antithetical to Western values.

      No Mortimer
Your take on this money thing is myopic.
IT IS NOT ONLY — ABOUT MONEY

The supposed “sacred example of Mohammed” is his worthless BS
You could have easily made your point without that typical tunnel vision.
By suggesting here, that the powers in the West are doing this only because they are materialistically corrupt, you and others who ascribe to that theory are carrying water for the enemy.

Pretending to answer my comment with a classic appeal to expert authority fallacy is the lowest form of discourse.

”Pretending to answer my comment with a classic appeal to expert authority fallacy is the lowest form of discourse.”

”Appeal to authority” as a logic fallacy doesn’t mean one cannot cite source texts as evidence for a premise. If it did, no-one would be able to cite primary sources for anything, as then silly people would answer everything by chirping; ”Pretending to answer my comment with a classic appeal to expert authority fallacy is the lowest form of discourse.”.

I suggest you look up what an appeal to authority logic fallacy actually is.

Saudi Arabia’s fourth grade textbook on Monotheism and Religion instructs students:
“Any other religion other than Islam is invalid (false).” (P. 29 )
“Hate (yakrah) the polytheists and the infidels” as a requirement of “true faith.” (P. 86)

5th Grade. Book: Monotheism and Religion:
*”Just as Muslims were successful in the past when they came together in a sincere endeavor to evict the Christian crusaders from Palestine, so will the Arabs and Muslims emerge victorious, God willing, against the Jews and their allies if they stand together and fight a true jihad for God, for this is within God’s power.” (P. 75)

    8th Grade:
*Command Muslims to “hate” Christians, Jews, polytheists and other “unbelievers,” including non-devout Muslims.” (P. 14)
*Instruct students not to “greet,” “befriend,” “imitate,” “show loyalty to,” “be courteous to”, or “respect” non-believers. (P. 24)

Fine by me – the Saudis can fight ISIS in Saudi Arabia for all I care. With no help from the US/EU. Let them reap what they sow. There are other oil-rich countries out there more than willing to sell to Western nations.

And also : ironically, the same people who’ trust’ SA want the oil, yet they blame oil for ‘global warming ‘and say they want alternatives for the ‘ climate’ ! We could have got off the oil decades ago had we really wanted to.
The West has never been so insane and Muslims laugh at us and I cannot blame them either. We are doomed. Better get prepping !
