Clearly the Taliban hasn’t gotten the memo that terrorism has nothing to do with Islam. John Kerry and Pope Francis need to fly to Peshawar, make their way to Taliban headquarters, and explain to Haibatullah Akhundzada how the true Islam is peaceful and rejects all forms of terrorism and violence.
“How the Taliban Hastily Chose Haibatullah Akhundzada as its New Leader,” Reuters, May 25, 2016:
PESHAWAR, Pakistan (Reuters) – Haibatullah Akhundzada, the Islamic legal scholar appointed leader of the Afghan Taliban on Wednesday, was not the obvious choice when senior members of the militant movement gathered to appoint a new “emir”.
The “shura”, or leadership council, was convened in haste after leader Mullah Akhtar Mansour was killed by a U.S. drone strike in Pakistan on Saturday, presenting the Taliban with their second succession in less than a year….
He has been identified by the United Nations as the former chief of the hardline justice system imposed by the Taliban when it ruled Afghanistan between 1996 and 2001.
Within an hour of the appointment being announced, a bus carrying court employees west of Kabul was blown up in a suicide attack, killing up to 11 people and wounding more. The Taliban claimed responsibility….
“He (Akhundzada) is of the older generation, he is one of the founders. So he has more respect as a religious scholar, while Sirajuddin Haqqani and Yaqoob … are pretty young,” said Thomas Ruttig of the Afghanistan Analysts Network.

Legal scholar? Easy one there.
Kill, rape, decapitate, maim, live happily ever after…..
David F Mayer says
Yes, “Legal Scholar”. For Sharia Law, that is, which commands, very clearly, exactly what you posted:
Kill, Rape, Decapitate, Maim… PLUS a few more that you omitted:
Torture, Burn Alive, Enslave, and all of the rest.

Simple:
“Hey, guys, which of us is the more knowledgeable of islam and islamic law? That guy? Well, well, looks like we got ourselves a new leader”.

hahah about it
durka durka durka jihad
your in !!
Jack Diamond says
Unlike Mullah Omar and Mansour, the new emir is not a fighter with military experience, just another religious scholar who issues the fatwas allowing suicide-homicide murder and sending others out to kill and die. Another reminder that jihad requires religious sanction and when you look behind every new atrocity done in the name of AllahMuhammad you will find a fatwa-issuing mullah/imam/”legal scholar” who has ordered it and blessed it. One who needs a bullseye put on his forehead.

Let’s be realistic .This new Taliban chief ,Akhundzada ,will be just and zealous and committed to the jihad as the last one who had recently been exterminated. This new Taliban leader in Afghanistan ,we all may be sure will be just ad dangerous as the last one. Maybe ,and that is just “maybe” he might be a bit more sly, subtle and insidious the the last Taliban head in his Islamic scheming to engage the jihad for Islam. Akhunzada might even fake being interested in a genuine peace . His false and empty words will only be extremely disingenuous and and otter times outright lying in his strategy to get the guard down of those he is “talking with.” So even the idea of having worthwhile, constructive “negotiations” with the Taliban is sheer folly. For the deceptive and disingenuous Taliban have proven many times over, by their own actions, that they are a ruthless, brutal vicious gang of thugs with no honor. So in any kind of “dialogue” the Taliban will speak the truth only when it happened to suite them. The rest of the time they will be speaking half-truths and also be outright lying. Likewise, the Taliban will keep their word in anything that they may happen to promise only and long as in fits into their agenda and no longer. So before engaging of the foolishness of attempting to have genuine “talks for a peace alliance” with Taliban, the officials of the current government would do well to heed the wisdom of Sun Tzu found in THE ART OF WAR. For it instructs “We cannot enter into an alliance neighboring’s princes, until we are acquainted with their designs.” To put this in a more updated and current way, it may be said that “We cannot enter into a peace alliance with the Taliban until we know the actual intentions and real schemes.”

Death to the Taliban.

We spent a lot of time and money in killing the former leader. They took a few days to replace. When would be the end?

Obama likes to kill the odd one to make us believe he’s actually fighting them.

Recently Lurch Kerry, Secretary of State, said that he considered Afghanistan to be Obama’s biggest achievement. He didn’t say in what way.

I don’t know what the fuss is all about.
In Afghanistan a scholar is just someone who can read.
An expert is someone who can read without moving their lips.

He knows all the important stuff required to be a super Islamist
Like how to keep his rifle clean and how to wipe his ass with his bare hand

Doesn’t the Koran forbid likenesses of humans or animals? (In the case of Muslims, its hard to tell which is which.) Why, then, do they love to plaster their ugly photographs everywhere?

Well, he’s gonna continue to give your American asses a good whoopin for invading Afghanistan. But you guys never learn, do you?

Western elites still haven’t a clue about what’s in Sharia law, but preposterously present themselves as authorities on Islam who can scold and denigrate everyone who has read Sharia, the Sira, the hadiths and classical commentaries of Islam.
Haibatullah Akhundzada is not on a list of designated terrorists, but he is a real expert on Sharia and, yes, he has something to do with Islam. Akhundzada leads a number of madrassas, or religious schools, in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province.
Haibatullah Akhundzada was a high-ranking teacher of Islam and now he is a member of a terrorist group.
Our Western elites need to explain how a teacher of Islam can be so wrong as to claim that Islam mandates terrorist warfare against disbelievers.
