On Friday, April 29, 2016, I spoke in Grand Prairie, Alberta on the roots of the Islamic State and Islamic anti-Semitism.
Here is a report on my talk that had been intended for the local paper:
“Robert Spencer speaks in Grande Prairie,” by Kevin Hampson, Our Home and Native Land, May 3, 2016 (thanks to Michael):
I’m a reporter in Grande Prairie, Alberta. My editor, for whatever reason, didn’t want to run my story on Robert Spencer’s talk here (though they did run my advancer). I think it’s worth running, though, since there didn’t seem to be any coverage of what he actually said while here in Canada (see the CBC’s blatant hatchet job here). I created this blog simply to publish the story I would have submitted (with minor changes befitting a blog). I might eventually put up other stuff too.
More than 100 people came to hear Robert Spencer speak about Islam during his stop in Grande Prairie on Friday.
The New York Times best-selling author has appeared on CTV, Fox News, BBC and other networks to discuss Islamic terrorism. His website, Jihad Watch, seeks to call public attention to the ideology motivating Islamic terrorism.
“The longer we misapprehend this problem, and the longer we keep our heads in the sand about it and deny what it’s really all about, the more we will not be able to deal with it adequately and the more lethal it will grow,” Spencer said.
In the years since 9/11, it has become taboo to discuss the ideology that Muslim terrorists themselves cite as their source of motivation, Spencer said. The refrain among Western political leaders is that Islam is a religion of peace, and self-proclaimed jihadists actually have nothing to do with it.
Spencer said this is dangerous, for an obvious reason: “You cannot defeat an enemy you don’t understand.”
The key point that the political and media class don’t want to admit, according to Spencer, is that Islamic terror attacks are inspired by a straightforward reading of the religion’s sacred texts, the Koran and the Hadiths.
Of particular concern is the Koran’s promise of Paradise for believers who “fight in God’s way; they kill and are killed.”
“This is why we see people strap bombs to themselves and go and blow themselves up in a crowd of infidels,” Spencer said. “Because they know that if they kill in the way of Allah, Paradise is promised to them.”
Spencer acknowledges plenty of Muslims aren’t even particularly religious, let alone fundamentalist. However, those who devoutly believe what the Koran tells them present a problem for secular societies even if they don’t resort to violence, he added. This is because Islam comes with a built-in political system, one which believers think is divine.
Spencer also points out that the Koran incites hatred against Jews and Christians, calling them “the most vile of created beings.” Muslims, in contrast, are “the best of people.”
This means some Muslims come to the West with a belief in the superiority of their own societal model and the inferiority of Western secular society, Spencer said. While they may not support terrorism, they do support curtailing basic liberties such as the freedom of speech.
Britain’s Channel 4 last month released the results of a survey in which 68% of British Muslims said they believed people who “insult Islam” should be arrested and prosecuted.
A member of Spencer’s audience on Friday suggested his talks contribute to “Islamophobia.” Spencer said this phrase is deliberately used to place Islam beyond criticism and make Westerners feel guilty for talking about Islamic terrorism.
“Islamophobia is a term that was actually conceived by the Muslim Brotherhood in order to manipulate and intimidate people into thinking that it’s wrong to oppose jihad terror,” he said.
Spencer was invited to speak by a local group called Concerned Canadians for Canadian Values….

The extreme anti-Semitism of anti-Jewishness of Islam is based on the Koran. As some call it the Quran. For this “holy book” of Islam teaches that Jews are descendants of “Apes and swine.” As found in 2:65; 7:166. ;5:60. This leads to a very important question: “Is the Quran the Word of God or is it a fabrication of a man. Thus, is the Quran the truth or a fiction and a hoax ?” The jihadists use many verses from the Quran as the main source of justification for their violence, mayhem and murders. As found in For example, 4:89. 5:33. 9:5,111,123. 47:4. There, the question is clearly given on pages 145 through 157 in THE ISLAMIC INVASION by Robert Morey in which he wrote a section on the Quran with its self-contradictions. Just two of the many he cited are the following “The Quran differs on whether a day is a thousand years or fifty thousand years in God’s sight’ and “Who was first to believe? Abraham or Moses [Sura 6:14 versus 7:143]? The above is inconsistent and illogical. Further, Morey wrote about “The fact that Judaism and Christianity broke up into different sects was used in the Quran to prove that they are not of God [Suras 30:20-32. 42:13, 14]. Yet Islam has broken up into many warring sects and therefore cannot be true if the Quran is right.” Moreover, Morey in his book shows many more contradictions and absurdities in the Quran, there are and how Muhammad incorporated extra Biblical and Jewish folklore along with pre-Islamic Arabian myth and parts of Zoroastrian and Hindu stories into the Quran. Furthermore, the Muslims claim that “the Quran is the direct, literal word of God unmodified in any way by the Prophet who uttered them at the bidding of God.” Nevertheless, in the book UNVEILING ISLAM by Ergun Mehmet and Eethi Caner has shown that the Quran was modified in the following account on pages 45. “Muhammad felt the need to improve on the words of Allah, since he changed Allah’s wisdom for his own on several occasions. A hadith tells of the nonchalant emendations of Muhammad:’ On a number of occasions he [a scribe] had, with the Prophet’s consent changed the closing words of verses. For example, when the prophet had said ‘God is mighty and wise ‘ Adbollah b. Abi Sarh suggested writing down ‘Knowing and wise’ and the Prophet answered that there was no objection. Having observed a succession of changes of this type, Adbollah renounced Islam on the grounds that revelations, if from God could not be changed at the prompting of a scribe such as himself. After his apostasy he went to Mecca and joined the Qorayshites.’ Other writers reveal that later Muhammad and his people did go war with the Qorayshites and he personally killed Abdollah. Obviously Abdollah knew too much and Muhammad wanted Abdollah’s knowledge to die with him.” In conclusion, the Quran is not only a fiction, it’s also a hoax.

Picking up on a little point you made.
The Evil Ones don’t like us spelling it Koran, they claim Qu’ran is the proper spelling, but Quran is acceptable to them, so I suggest we ALL spell it koran and STOP APPEASING them.
I don’t you CAPITALS when naming koran, muslims, islam etc., I do not give them that respect and as for MAD MO, please use the following, muhammed (a curse be upon him).
Thank you.
Angry Citizen says
“I don’t use CAPITALS”
Sorry, proof read idiot.

As expected, excellent talk.
Robert refers to the scale of good deeds vs bad deeds ( which I call the profit loss account). This account is so important in Muslims’ lives. It actually occupies their inner minds without being aware of it. When a Muslim does something, the others say: May Allah make it an addition to your good deeds scale (mizan hasanatak).
It is in their everyday language.

There is something I need to have more clair here. And I ask because I want…something, some clarity here.
I know all I have to know about the, left, islam, and the topics Robert are doing a good job at. I also agree with him and most others here that Israel should be supported.
But here is where I run into questions. I have seen some, actualy a lot of people who agree with us also are anti-selitic. They claim that jews are pushing multiculturalism and all those other poisonous things that is degenerating western society, they run Holywood, the media and so forth. Those are claims put forward by nazis and a lot of other people.
You can not say “they”. But it is true that there are some prominent jews outside Israel who actualy to varying degrees do just that. Zuckerberg, Barbra Spectre, some in Hollywood I can’t remember. The other claim is that they run the banks, echonomy and so on. I do not think they run or OWN the echonomy. But there is a truth to the claim that jews are often involved in it and have a history in that regard. I saw a youtube video this winter where a jew spoke at a holocaust-memorial or something (american guy) where he not only admitet all those claims behind “echonomic anti-semitism” but was very proud of it as well.
Anyone who can give me some insight here? I know almost nothing sbout the jewish people.

As a Norwegian, you should know how diverse and productive the people of any small nation can be.
Beyond that, our history and environment shapes us all.
That’s all you probably need to understand.

British muslims. We’re not talking about goat herders in Afghanistan, we’re talking about people living in a first-world country.

Pedantically accurate.
That’s NOT an insult.
They are “people” (savages really)
“living in a first-world country.”

This looks like a clear rejection of free speech, which is what we expect from muslims, given the nature of their ‘faith’. Very worrying, since it looks like we may get a muslim Mayor of London with some very undesirable attitudes and connections.

Thank you Robert Spencer for coming to Alberta.

Islaam is not anti-semitic alone, that is also a handy thing for Islaam to distract the infidels’ attention from the fact that Islaam intends totally to wipe all infidels off the face of Earth.
It is firmly imbedded in the heart and mind of every Muslim, every Muslim, that-
“one day this will all be Islaam”
and they gaze upon all western structures as soon to be theirs’, and with disdain and an inane grin. It’s their’s, whatever it is. It’s simply a matter of persistance, while the infidels gradually diminish. Constant wear on the rock of the western way, with the Dream that spurs them on.
One mans’ dream is another mans’ nightmare.
How noble is man upon this once beautiful Earth.

They hate Jews the most because the Jews were too smart for them.
The Jews saw MAD MO for what he was, a LIAR and A FALSE PROPHET. They refused to accept him or his MINDLESS TRICKS such as praying facing Jerusalem.
They taunted him and challenged him to PROVE his prophethood by performing a miracle like the ‘Phrophets of Old’.
MAD MO’S miracle was commanding a mountain to move, when it did not, the Mad One, raised his arms to claim that a miracle was peformed, for if the mountain had moved there would have been much destruction, therefore, allah AKA Lucifer is great and merciful.
And yes, those CRAZY, BRAIN DEAD, RUG BITERS believe it was a miracle.

About University of NC-Chapel Hill referenced in video
1 — SUV attack
On 03/05/06 at University of NC-Chapel Hill, Mohammed Reza Taheri-Azar drove an SUV into university students partly because they DIDN’T LOOK MUSLIM. That behavior is RACISM. It is also clearly a “HATE CRIME.”
So how did the news media react?
Even as the sordid details were revealed they dared not venture off the standard appeasing path, since to hold this SUV TERROIST accountable might appear as anti-Muslim.
Although Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar had PLOTTED to do an attack over the course of two years and this specific attack was PREMEDITATED during the preceding two months, the news media still initially redacted the “T” word in the news repoering.
2 — ROAD RAGE
The news media came up with a brand new euphemistic buzz word phrase ROAD RAGE INCIDENT. But (ROAD RAGE is impulsive anger between drivers and INCIDENT is something that “just happens expectantly.)
Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar deliberately drove off the campus lane into a pedestrian only area into unsuspecting students who offended him because they appeared to be non-Muslim.
Although the media failed to say this was a RACIST inspired HATE CRIME, they did at least finally concede that it was after all a premeditated terrorist act and the justice system eventually held him accountable.
3 — accepting responsibility
Did Mohammed Reza Taheri-Azar accept responsibility for his actions? “Well not exactly”
He wrote, “In the name of Allah, the merciful, the compassionate, I am a servant of Allah.
Allah’s commandments are never to be questioned and all of Allah’s commandments must be obeyed. Those who violate Allah’s commandments and purposefully follow human fabrication and falsehood as their religion will burn in fire for eternity in accordance with Allah’s will.”
Ironic projection
Clearly Islam is in reality a “…human fabrication and falsehood “

It’s the religion stupid! How much any individual Muslim follows the example of the pedophile prophet is a matter of choice and matter of how much they HATE. Muslims as a group have extreme difficulty getting along with their neighbors where ever they go. They even attack Christians in refugee camps. They have no RIGHT to invade and destroy the West where they are unable to assimilate unless they become Muslim heretics or apostates. Islam is a fascist ideology…not to be mistaken with a benign religion.
