“2013: Orlando Terrorist Threatened To Kill Fla. Sheriff And His Family, FBI Dismissed Threat,” by Christian Datoc, Daily Caller, June 17, 2016:

In 2013, Orlando terrorist Omar Mateen allegedly threatened to kill a Fla. sheriff’s deputy and his family, yet the FBI did not act upon the threat once it had been reported by the sheriff’s office.

According to the Treasure Coast Palm, the incident occurred while Mateen — a licensed security professional with G4S Security — was hired as an extra patrolman at the St. Lucie County Courthouse.

The deputy in question allegedly made a comment about the Middle East which infuriated Mateen, reports St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken Mascara.

“Omar became very agitated and made a comment that he could have Al Qaeda kill my employee and his family,” he told the TC Palm Wednesday. “If that wasn’t bad enough, he followed it up with very disturbing comments about women and followed it up with very disturbing comments about Jews and then went on to say that the Fort Hood shooter was justified in his actions.”

Mascara stated the Sheriff’s Office requested Mateen be removed from his post and reported the threat to the FBI, who eventually concluded that “Mateen was not a threat.”…

  2. Among Western elites, there is a common denialism about jihad-warfare against the disbelievers. The only explanation of their common behavior is that top leaders in government, the media, education and others as well have been bribed to go easy on Islam and/or courted by influential professional disinformationists from Muslim countries.

    Mohammed last order to his followers was to continue to give bribes to agents of influence, as they had seen him do.

    • mortimer, I believe what you say here explains things very well. Saudi Arabia can certainly afford any and many bribes. And if the bribes don’t work, they have enough money to hire “people” (disguised as terrorists, etc) to give them and their families “an offer they can’t refuse”, as a last resort.

      Before that final offer, though, they may be able to use blackmail, if, through high and low tech spying techniques, they can find improprieties and/or embarassments with which to blackmail (affairs, kickbacks, …).

      They will see how things play out with Trump before drastic measures must be utilized. Conniving evil for Allah – power, control, supremacy. Evil wil do anything to get what it wants.

        gravenimage, I think your point mostly applies to the masses of followers, and mortimer’s applies to many who have power, control, and influence.

    • The reason the left pretends that Islam is not a violent religion is that leftists view muslims as their alliies against Whites and Christians and that muslims vote for the free stuff parties in North America and Europe. Leftists view Christians and Whites as their enemies and muslims are their storm troops used to terrorize the enemies of the left.     This impotence in our government agencies, especially the FBI, DHS, DOJ, CIA (purge all trainng manuals of any reference to Islam or Jihad) and others, to pursue Islamic terrorists comes directly from the top, Barak Hussein Obama. A Barak Block.

    For these government employees not to follow orders means paying a heavy personal price involving their families, their careers, their pensions, etc. These tactics are from the Alinsky playbook utilized by Obama and H. Clinton for years. Always reward supporters and punish enemies, right or wrong.

    This is to say nothing about tying our military to impotent rules of engagement, and ignoring the advice of seasoned commanders.

    Any crime committed by an ordinary citizen is investigated and the culprit arrested.
    Any crime committed by a member of the crime *family* or gang is brushed off and no one is arrested, or the crime is attributed to an ordinary citizen and an innocent person is arrested.

    The crime *family*…known as adherents of islam, moslims from all countries belonging…is now in control.

    That he was working security in an American courthouse at the time is all the more insane.

    Unfortunately they have many, many clues, but all the signs suggest that they’ve contracted a virulent form of dismissitus. When Islamic spores freely enter into the very belly of our democracy, where the rule of law, its institutions and those individuals tasked with dispensing that law, are themselves overtly threatened,with with impunity, then it’s time to administer a shock to the system.     Because, as we all know, islam is a religion of peace and therefore a devout muslim can’t be a danger to anyone, if he rants, rambles and threatens someone it’s just because it’s in his culture to do so without actually meaning he’ll carry out said threats, right? Plus, it’s not like there was actual evidence linking him to al-qaeda or something – what was he going to do, self-“radicalize” and go “lone wolf”?

If the fanatics are only 10% of them, that is 100,000,000 fanatics are potential killers of everyone else, and these killers are rewarded by a visit to allah and 82 virgins to copulate with for eternity.     • I firmly believe the 1st Amendment covers all speech, unless a direct threat to life like Omar’s threat to the Officer. So why, per our Constitution, didn’t the FBI at least arrest him for threatening an Officer? It does not make sense. If I had done that, you can bet your sweet bootie I would have spent time in Jail. PC at work here.

  27. This doesn’t surprise me one bit. I had three (3) instances where the FBI’s help was needed badly, and I got nothing in either case. I asked for their help when I uncovered a Home Improvement scam that spread from Florida to Va. They were having elderly people sign blank deeds when they thought they were signing a contract for work to be done. The 2nd time I uncovered a Va. Beach lender that was selling bad loans to HUD, FEMA, Banks & Savings & Loans in 32 states. The 3rd was a case with an illegal that was smuggling cigarettes from N.C. to Michigan, etc., and would send large sums to Lebanon, etc. I had enough evidence in hand in each case for an easy conviction. They did absolutely nothing. A Va. State senator who was head of the White Crime Div., sent me a state investigator on the Home Imp. group, they were convicted and walked out of the courthouse never to be seen again. The 2nd one wound up being a $64M dollar Bankruptcy and many Banks & S & Loans went under after I turned everything over to the Editor of the local newspaper. The 3rd one (Illegal) was finally picked up and deported after I brought in ICE & NCIS. I did try the FBI and showed them all the evidence including the fact that he had committed Bigamy and his handwritten record of all the money. When they didn’t get back to me, I called and was told if he did anything serious, they’d take action. In my opinion we need to get rid of the “FBI” and the sooner the better. Another example is Hillary Clinton. After months of investigating, and hundreds of agents, why haven’t they gotten an indictment????
