Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Death toll in Istanbul jihad massacre now nearing 50, the Islamic State “is behind the attack”

Jun 28, 2016 6:59 pm By Robert Spencer

Ramadan in Istanbul.

Ataturk-airport-in-Turkey

“Nearly 50 dead, more than 100 reported injured in terror attack at Istanbul airport,” FoxNews.com, June 28, 2016 (thanks to Kenneth):

BREAKING: Close to 50 people were killed and over 100 more were injured when three suicide bombers attacked Istanbul’s main international airport Tuesday night, a senior official said.

The Associated Press, quoting an anonymous Turkish official, reported that “nearly” 50 people were dead in the blasts at Istanbul Ataturk Airport. The private NTV broadcaster, citing hospital sources, reported that 106 people had been wounded. A Turkish official told Reuters that the “vast majority” of victims were Turkish, but some foreigners were also affected.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but the same senior Turkish official told AP that initial indications suggested the Islamic State terror group (ISIS) were behind the attack. According to Reuters, a police source also told the Dogan News Agency, “ISIS is behind the attack.” There was no immediate formal confirmation from the Ankara government.

Called it. The Kurds, regardless whether or not they use suicide bombers, usually target government people and buildings.

That is sad. No matter how many people will die, they will never acknowledge that Islam (NOTE: Islam, not Islamophobia) is behind every jihad attack.

Their “investigations” will be only a waste of time… they should not investigate at all since everyone with half a brain already knows the truth.

Genocidal Turkey is now considered to be dirty kafirs by the MORE-ISLAMIC-THAN-THOU warriors of ISIS.

Now that Turkey is actually working with NATO on destroying ISIS (unlike the last two years), they are no longer ‘good’ Muslims.

Turkey is unsure of which side it’s on. Turkey is an unreliable ally and should be penalized. Turkey should be partitioned to weaken it.

erdogan may use this attack as an excuse to maintain turkey’s existing “anti-terror” laws in the ongoing negotiation to meet EU-turkey visa free travel requirements. In addition, turkey could also use this incident to justify more aggressive actions against terrorist groups (meaning kurds – PKK, YPG or those suspected of being either).

        It’s not a religion. It’s a death cult.

        • CogitoErgoSum says

          Jun 29, 2016 at 11:15 am

John, I would call it both. Perhaps Christianity has been such a success that now most people believe that religion should teach love and belief in a kind and gentle god. Not so. Some religions of the past (and present) have been based upon violent and warlike gods who demand death and destruction against the disobedient. To avoid the possible wrath of the gods due to being disrespected, human sacrifice was sometimes made at regular intervals in the past. Look at the religion of the Aztecs and the Mayans. By the way, I would say that the practice of the Islamic suicidal/homicidal bomber is a form of human sacrifice.

Since the U.S. Constitution makes it illegal to discriminate against anyone based on religion, some other means of controlling the spread of Islam in the U.S. is going to have to be implemented. Either the Constitution will need to be amended or the definition of the word “religion” will have to be further defined for legal purposes.

About that brutal and deadly jihad entity ISIS. Most people know that the head and chief of that is a man who goes by the name of al Baghdadi By contrast, what few people seem to know is that al Baghdadi is just a figurehead and a puppet rulers of ISIS. That the actual and real head and chief of that heinous and dangerous jihad organization is someone else. Who that “someone else” has been exposed in the book entitled THE ISIS CRISIS by Charles Dyer. For on page 166 the author explains that “The ultimate commander of ISIS remains unseen by most of his followers, but he is not unknown. This commander is Satan himself… Satan moves across the earth ‘like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.’ [First Peter 5:8.] Therefore, the vicious jihadist thugs who compose ISIS are, in realty, vicious, malicious and deluded fools who are being use by Satan, as his stooges and tools, to inflict demonic murderous harm on humankind. So must so that those violent wicked and insanely deluded jihad savages who make up ISIS are like those callous characters described in the Bible in Ecclesiastes 9:3. That teaches “The hearts of men are full of evil and there is madness in their hearts while they live, and afterwards they join the dead.” In addition, those malice-filled fiendish jihadists of ISIS are so very bloodthirstily, ruinous dangerous and murderous that they are similar to, in character, the hideous villains described in the Bible. Which reads “Their feet are swift to shed blood: ruin and misery mark their ways, and the way of peace they do not know.” Romans 3:15-17. [N.I.V.]

That idea can help to make religious people hate and distrust islam, but it will also make many simply give up, thinking that the force behind the islamic empire’s annexation program is eternal and invincible.

this “satan made them do it” idea is also total nonsense and a waste of space in forums.

I read this website daily and most everyone has interesting and often illuminating comments……but tell me
does anyone have some ideas how we can make an end to this chaos in this world??
I immigrated to the US 50 years ago…and life was transparent, predictable and calm,
one could trust people, I could go to a movie or restaurant or shopping center without looking over my shoulder. All that is gone. Why is it impossible to outlaw guns, guns have only one purpose….
The existence of guns should not require more guns…imagine a country without guns !!
Instead of using the internet to our creative advantage, and not also for crime and deceit and destruction. Since 90 % of chaos in this world is rooted in islamic terror and can not not be reformed
since it is a theocracy and not purely a religion….it should be made illegal in the US.

        Jun 29, 2016 at 12:05 am

Attaturk (the “father” of modern Turkey) was no friend of Islam. He abolished the caliphate and brought Islam somewhat to heel, at least for a while.

Erdogan is a major step step backwards, but even an Islamist like him isn’t Islamic enough for ISIS. It’s totally cynical, but maybe the best hope is that these various factions within Islam (Sunni-Shia, Saudi-Iran, Taliban-ISIS) will kill each other off and/or inflict heavy casualties on each other.

The Vietnam War,the murder of President Kennedy ,Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King
The troubles in Ireland,Laos and Cambodia.India and Pakistan war.6 day war in Middle East.
The 70s had more of the same with rampant Palestinian terror.
I could go on and on but the fact is the human race is a very violent species and we forget the horrors of the past. There will never be total peace everywhere and that golden age never existed.Sad fact is 1.5 million America’s have been murdered by fellow Americans since 1950 because of that essential accessory of all those 2nd Ammendment loving citizens the almighty GUN

Why whenever muslim supremacists commit acts of war in the USA does the media focus on gun control? Whilst anywhere but America the media talks about isis and terrorism, but ignoring the accesibility of AK47s smuggled into Europe.
All I heard from the media after San Bernadino and the Pulse massacre was calls for the 2nd amendment to be changed or new draconian gun laws to be imposed on law abiding citizens, or God forbid putting gun owners on a FBI gun registry.
Not once today or tonight has a single news agency blamed the AK47 or blamed the open borders of Europe or Turkey’s porous border. Yet the same news agencies directly blamed the NRA, the 2nd Amendment and the AR15.

I was heartened to see that this Jihad mass murder operation was performed on Moslems. If it had been in the States, or in London, or in Holland I would’ve been upset. Unsurprised, but upset. But this is the kind of stuff that has some justice to it. After all, the victims are living the Islam, so it’s hard to feel sorry for them when they are mass murdered by the Islam, as commanded by the Islam. I’m sure that ISIS would prefer to mass murder Infidels, but all politics are local and that’s better.

By his or her own description or standard, in that affair, heartened is the feeling of a sick person. Indifference to murder seems even worse. Therefore, may Falsafa be disheartened by the Armenian genocide?

  24. Cecilia Ellis says

At present, FoxNews is reporting that the death toll is 41, with an additional 147 injured. However, Hillary released a statement that

“Terrorists have struck again in the heart of one of our NATO allies, Today’s attack in Istanbul only strengthens our resolve to defeat the forces of terrorism and radical jihadism around the world. And it reminds us that the United States cannot retreat. We must deepen our cooperation with our allies and partners in the Middle East and Europe to take on this threat.”

Trump, in stark contrast, issued this statement: “The whole world is stunned and horrified, The terrorist threat has never been greater. Our enemies are brutal and ruthless and will do anything to murder those who do not bend to their will. We must take steps now to protect America from terrorists, and do everything in our power to improve our security to keep America safe.”

“Radical jihadism.” Is there no effort that strains more blatantly to evade the word, “Islam?” The absurdity of the term “radical jihadism” is surpassed only by the implicit inference that such attacks are a deviation from fundamental jihad, a well-known culinary initiative to distribute cupcakes among the needy ummah.

    What insanity!
