Petition for new Brexit vote gets 39,411 signatures from Vatican City – pop. 800

Jun 26, 2016 11:07 am By Robert Spencer

This reminds me of Left-fascist Nick Lowles’ Hope Not Hate petition to ban me from the UK, which gained an extraordinary number of signatures in a very short time, no doubt including many more people than had ever actually heard of my existence — and was never examined by parliamentary authorities. Clearly the European political and media elites are scrambling to maintain their hegemony amid increasing popular discontent with, among other things, their suicidal Muslim immigration policies. Even if they force what is already a shattered dhimmi Britain to remain in the EU, their hegemony is inexorably crumbling.

Let's stick together Cameron

“Second referendum petition: At least 77,000 ‘fake’ signatures removed hours after inquiry launched,” by Luke Heighton, Telegraph, June 26, 2016 (thanks to Blazing Cat Fur):

Parliamentary authorities have moved swiftly to remove around 77,000 allegedly fake signatures from an online petition which calls for a re-run of the Brexit referendum.

It follows a formal inquiry launched less than three hours earlier, amid claims some of the more than three million signatures it has gained since Friday may be fraudulent.

A statement posted on the House of Commons’ petitions committee Twitter account on Sunday afternoon said: “We are investigating allegations of fraudulent use of the petitions site. Signatures found to be fraudulent will be removed”.

It came as the ‘EU Referendum Rules triggering a 2nd EU Referendum’ petition posted on the UK Government and Parliament Petitions website showed a suspicious number of signatures attributed to places outside the UK – in some cases more than their total population.

Some 39,411 residents of Vatican City, home to Pope Francis, appeared to have signed the petition by Sunday morning, despite the tiny city state having a total population of just 800.

In isolationist North Korea, one of the least internet-connected countries in the world, 23,778 people had apparently gone online to express their frustration at the UK’s decision to quit the EU.

Located 800 miles south east of the Falklands, and with a permanent population of zero, the South Atlantic British Overseas Territory of South Georgia and the Sandwich Islands was responsible for more than 3,000 signatures

That was some 300 more than those coming from the British Antarctic Territory, which though home to some 400 researchers also has no settled population of its own.

Signatories are also recorded in places as far flung as the Caribbean island of Aruba (101), Bermuda (564), China (432), Hong Kong (2,089), Japan (742) Venezuela (24) and the South Pacific Islands of Tuvalu (18), Wallis and Fortuna (8) and Vanuatu (31).

Overall, close to 2.5 million signatures had been added from within the UK by midday on Sunday, making up an overwhelming proportion of the whole….

      @ Richie

As much as I loathe and despise the European Union, the lunatics running the asylum in Brussels are NOT responsible for the Muslim infestation of Britain.

Since the 1960s successive British Governments, both Labour and Conservative, have been actively condoning and encouraging the Muslim invasion of Britain.

During Tony Blair´s premiership, over 2 million Muslims swarmed into Britain, with the full approval of the Labour Government of the day.

As for that ars*ehole, David Cameron, kissing Muslim arse and encouraging Muslims to set up parallel societies in Britain has been a feature of his premiership.

Remember his infamous ” I want to make London the capital of global Islamic finance etc ” speech ???

Indeed. I hate to piss in the parade, but Pakistanis make up the majority of muslims in the UK. Same for Algerians in France or Moroccans in Spain – same story in each of those countries: privileged migration from former colonies.

While the claims that people voted Leave because of how they feel regarding muslim migration and encroachment in British society (assuming they are true) are a good sign, all they did was close a small crack (the taking in of “Syrian” “refugees”) – the main leak is still gushing.

Stop trying to toss sand. I pointed you that a) most muslims in the UK are NOT the result of EU policies and b) the influx of foreigners in the last decade or so – which prompted the Brexit vote – is the result of UK policies, NOT EU dictatorship. Are you keeping up with the news? It’s mostly Eastern Europeans in the UK that are complaining about a large influx of xenophobic attacks, NOT muslims. If you genuinely think that has nothing to do with what you wrote (as opposed desperately trying to start arguments with me regardless of rhyme or reason), then you’re hopeless.

EU was slowly evolving since 1950. It’s become a tyrant in the last 30 years and even though the Pakistanis were present in UK before then, UK has not had the problem it has now. It’s the huge influx of “refugees” in recent times which was the order from EU to take in which has UK and the rest of Europe in trouble.

Speaking as a foreign observer of events, the squealing of the butt-hurt British left is repulsive. Their contempt is palpable for the people they claim to represent. Even so, the consequences of the UK leaving the EU are likely to be so serious, and the margin of passage was so tight, that I can see justification for running the referendum again, so as to be certain.

An argument could be made that the UK should stay in the EU, and fight the insane, self-destructive Brussels policies with the sensible citizens of other countries, who appear to be rising up in many places.

Check how the stats have been presented:

There are 382 UK voting areas. The total number of areas voting to leave was 270.

That’s over 70% in favour of leaving the EU. If this were a general election that overwhelming majority would never be questioned. For some reason, and we all probably know why, because it was not an expected result, even though it was democratically conducted, some people can’t accept it.

We are being encouraged to think it was nearly even Stevens. This would be regarded as landslide vote as it would pick up 70% of the seats in parliament in the UK. Lots of spin going on.

There is NO reforming of the EU that is why we voted to leave and regain our sovereignty. We arenow free to make our own laws and our own immigration policy without terrorists and foreign criminals using the European Human rights laws to stay in the UK when we try to deport them.

The remain campaigners made various statements that the world would end if we voted to leave, yet the FTSE is higher now than it was a week ago even though there was a predictable wobble when the news of the vote came in, the pound is still higher against other currencies than it was a couple of months ago.

Great Britain WILL prosper as an independent sovereign nation the EU are crapping their pants as other nations are now starting to want their own referendums and the EU faces losing it’s second largest financial contributor.

I admit I am an Anglophile and it broke my heart to see Great Britain and especially London the last time I was there. There were women walking around in black bags,. Some of them were wearing veil-like things held on by what appeared to be tortoise shell headpieces. Even in grocery stores there were cashiers in that Muslim garb. I didn’t intend to ever visit again although I used to visit England a couple of times a year.

Now that I see the British have regained their backbone and in effect are throwing the rascals out, I look forward to again enjoying the British culture, people and I even like British food.

My money is on Theresa May who has kept her head down throughout the referendum campaign. She could well come on the rails as the steady pair of hands with Euro-sceptic instincts.

l don’t think she has the lntegrity of her convictions. She go with the pack. They say she was a ‘reluctant remainer’, so she was spineless there. Based on this, will she do the job.
She’s like a female Jeremy Corbyn, who for most of his political life, has spoken against the EU. As soon as he became Leader, he changed sides – so, two peas in a pod, and both turncoats.
l think they’ll choose Boris Johnson because the tories know the ppl are with him after his leading the Leave campaign to victory, and they need to regain their popularity after Camoron. Anyway, lt all looks planned to me.
l think the world is on the edge of a precipice, and if there is a Global Jihad round the corner, then political warriors are needed – Trump in America, and Boris in the UK. He reminds me of Churchill a bit lol.
There might be a General Election, but probably not.
Corbyn will be kicked out soon, l think. They’re already ganging up on him.

Can’t disagree with you really. What is a reluctant remainer? Most likely an ambitious politician positioning herself for her own advantage after the battle. Blood (the metaphorical kind…so far) is flowing on both sides. It is disappointing to see the Brexit side falling out. It appears that one side says there’s still no possibility of controlling movement of people if we want to trade with Europe. My hope is for a domino effect as you say. If France leaves (and the EU is more unpopular there than in Britain) then surely the monster must curl up and die.

CNN, BBC and other media only interviewing those voting for staying. Mostly noone of the majority. Biased. As if 100% are for staying.
Waiting for media interviewing the winning leave side.
No respect to majority now. But if stay had won only majority would have been interviewed, I am certain.
    Please change..

We Brexiter’s have been not only racist but thick as well. It is being claimed that the young have been robbed of their future in the EU by old codgers who are on their last legs and wont be around long enough to see the damage their vote to leave will do to their country. I watched a programme where a young chap of the pouted bottom lip camp, between little catches of breath was telling me he was a last year university degree student who had seen his future slipping away, now i am a cynical old git i do admit, so i was not realy moved much even less so when he told us that he had nearly finished his dissertation, which consisted of womens positions in vampire films. If i was in charge of this country this little chancer would be put to work on the coal face The organisation Hope not Hate that Robert Spencer mentions looks set for a nice payment from a fund set up following the murder of Labour MP Jo Cox. The following link is worth a little look at https://caltonjock.com/2016/06/20/jo-cox-the-truth-if-you-can-handle-it/

This is just as momentous as when King John signed Magna Carta.
