Islamic State spokesman Abu Mohammad al-Adnani recently called on Muslims to “get prepared, be ready … to make it a month of calamity everywhere for nonbelievers.”
“Four Indonesians jailed over IS-linked terror plot,” AFP, June 15, 2016 (thanks to Marc):
JAKARTA: An Indonesian bomb maker inspired by an Islamic State extremist was sentenced Wednesday to five years in prison for plotting to blow up a Buddhist temple on Java island.
The court heard that Ibad, who like many Indonesians goes by one name, received funding and guidance for the attack from Bahrum Naim, a radical Islamist linked to the January suicide attacks in Jakarta that left eight people dead.
Three others—Sugiyanto, Saifudin and Yus Karman—were also found guilty of terrorist offences in a Jakarta court and sentenced to four years and eight months over their role in the failed bomb plot.
Ibad’s lawyer said his client had been lured by Naim through social media to carry out an attack. The two had known each other for many years before Naim traveled to Syria and rose to notoriety among Indonesian extremists fighting for the so-called Islamic State group.
“Ibad is Bahrun Naim’s childhood friend,” the lawyer Kamsi told Agence France-Presse outside the East Jakarta courtroom.
“Naim lured Ibad to join him by saying it was easy to get a job in Syria, and told him to detonate a bomb in Solo.”…

ISIS? Maybe they were radicalized by Donald Trump’s tactless comments. They have TV in Indonesia you know – maybe Fox News did it.

I sincerely hope that post was sarcasm! If not you are advocating that we must not speak the truth or have an opinion, unless it is a islamic one, (may my God forbid!) in case WE hurt a muslim feelings and that is why they have every right to threaten us, torture, murder, bomb us and threaten worse coming to us in the future e.g. fear to be in a school, a hospital egc is OK too. Let me tell you muslims offend me many times per day by their bestial, barbaric actions, their destroying ancient buildings, their continual moaning, complaining etc, etc, the list can go on and on. Do I go out and murder, NO! Neither should islam preach and neither should the koran teach that is OK!!

”Compassion and tolerance are not a sign of weakness,” the Buddha reputedly said, “but a sign of strength.”
It’s certainly understandable, therefore, why adherents of the “Religion of Peace” might wish to exterminate the followers of such a vile faith.

“The World is not only for Muslims”, says the sign held by the Buddhist monk.
Islam says the opposite. Islam is a supremacist ideology. Supremacism means only a supreme group is entitled to rule and enjoy the best of everything.
Every Muslim must be a SUPREMACIST or else he is no longer a Muslim and has left Islam.
The Buddhist monk is asking for a supremacist to set him straight. I pray for his safety.
Ramadan is the Month of Jihad … ISIS called for a Month of Calamity. I believe they will deliver and our Western elites will preposterously continue to deny that it is normative Islam.

I agree, mortimer. The message on that sign is big news to muslims.

I’m surprised the Indon police stopped this bombing. Indonesia is another Muslim-majority country, like Malaysia and Bangladesh, that gets more devout and more orthodox every day, thanks to Saudi funding of Salafi mosques, imams, politicians and, oh yeah, terrorists.

Sir, I agree with you. I feel the only way to deal with rapid expansion of Wahhabi Saudi Islam is to go to war with Saudi & Iran and carpet bomb palaces, mosques and streets cluttered up with moslems during Friday prayers. In Milan outside the Cathedral for example according to these moslems where ever they pray to Allah this becomes their land!. Saudi has so much money it is obscene according to one Irishwoman on a political program screened on Monday night – yet there is abject poverty all over the middle east?

Something to bear in mind.
The islands of the East Indies, now known as Indonesia, were Buddhist and Hindu and animist for *centuries* before Muslims turned up on the scene. I just had a look at the wiki entry and it says that Hinduism and Buddhism came to the archipelago in the 2nd and 4th centuries AD. The same entry says “The peak of Hindu-Javanese civilisation was the Majapahit Empire in the fourteenth century, described as a golden age in Indonesian history”. That’s the fourteenth century AD. Parallel in time to the European late middle ages and the dawn of the European Renaissance.
And then, in the 14th century AD, deadly Islam took root (though its first sneaky advance guard had probably arrived some time before that) and five centuries later Indonesia is 85 percent Islamised…. and in Aceh, today, a teenage girl can be viciously caned, in public, for having been in the same room as her boyfriend, and the morality police run around looking for insufficiently-Islamically-dressed females to victimise.

Something to bear in mind,
It was the Dutch who forcibly converted the Hindu Osing people to Islam. It was the Dutch who attaccked Bali and decided to mass slaughter Hindus. It was the Dutch who engaged in mass genocide of animist Banda islanders and replaced them with migrants from other parts of Indonesia. It was the Dutch who started the transmigration program of flooding the outer islands with migrants from Java and the inner islands.
Australia was animist for approximately 40,000 years before invading European colonists showed up and…. oh wait.

“The World Is not only for Muslims”.
Not to sound too negative, but see how far that’ll get you. The monk has put his mark on the nub of it.
Alas, The World is deaf…. Vote the way you know that maybe, just maybe, it’ll help.
