50,000 demonstrate for Turkey’s Erdogan…in Cologne, Germany

Jul 31, 2016 2:59 pm By Robert Spencer

“For Democracy, Against Putsch” in Turkey means “For Islamization, Against Secularism.” And 50,000 people demonstrating for this in Germany bodes ill for Germany’s future. But what doesn’t, these days?

Turkey demonstrators Germany

“50,000 demonstrators march through the streets of Cologne to show support for Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan,” by Anthony Joseph, MailOnline, July 31, 2016:

Around 50,000 demonstrators marched through the streets of Cologne this afternoon to show their support for Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan.

Waving the Turkish national flag, demonstrators held aloft pictures of Erdogan and placards reading ‘For Democracy, Against Putsch’ after a failed military coup earlier this month.

‘We are here because our compatriots in Germany advocate democracy and are against the attempted military coup,’ Turkey’s sport and youth minister, Akif Cagatay Kilic, who attended the rally, told reporters.

The demonstration became the focus of increasingly strained ties between Germany and Turkey after a decision by Germany’s top court on its eve prevented Erdogan from addressing the meeting via video-conference.

‘German Constitutional Court’s decision on the anti-coup rally in Cologne is an utter backsliding in freedom of speech and democracy,’ Turkey’s minister for EU affairs, Omer Celik, wrote in English on his official Twitter account….

Interesting how INTEGRATED Turkish Muslims are in Germany & Europe. They were able to field 50,000 in support of a DICTATOR but could not field TEN Muslims against acts of terror by Muslims in Germany.

It really is not their fault since they are FORBIDDEN by Muhammad’s Quran from ever Assimilating, Integrating or being Loyal to ANY none Muslim peoples

The tragedy resides at the highest levels of political power in Germany starting with the CRIMINAL Angela Merkel and her party

Soon, Germany will pay even greater cost in German BLOOD spilled by more Islamic TERROR

One needs to remember the wider history.

“Turks” did not arrive in modern “Turkey” until around 800 AD, and Turkish Islam to this day is generally still relatively shallow and pragmatic. Turkey makes great beer, and there don’t seem to be many Turks committing suicide attacks.

Erdogan’s genius was harnessing ethnic and social discontent, arming it with offensive Islam, and building on this ideological foundation and traditional communist and National Socialist techniques of “co-option” to take control of a large country with disparate populations.

Turks (like Persians) do have a vague collective memory that they had a real history before Islam, and that Islam is among other things a cult of Arab supremacism. Westerners need to remind them of these points, again and again.

        ………………….

Custos, Islam was only suppressed in Turkey–to an extent, anyway–by the actions of Atatürk in the early part of the 20th century.

Before this the Ottoman Empire was the last Caliphate, and they took their Islam *very* seriously, using Christians as Janissaries and to fill their Harems, and at the end of the Caliphate pious Muslims went on a decades-long rampage, massacring most of the remaining Christians there–well over a million people–in the Armenian Genocide.

I’m afraid the legacy of Islam in Turkey is *anything* but ‘moderate’.

You are obsessed with a small sect of Islam that is Wahhabism ,what you conveniently forget to point out is that Wahhabism is followed by 5% ,of the world’s 1.7 billion Muslims ,and the majority of Muslims do NOT commit acts of terror or murder ,and by scapegoating an entire religion on the acts of a tiny minority is blatantly wrong both ethically and morally .you are just peddling the same false propaganda that the Nazis used against the Jews!

We had the same idiots making excuses for Hitler and then Stalin – the misery Muslims are going to cause to the people of Europe is going to be horrendous and then the backlash will encompass Muslims who are not responsible or bad people but who must join the few Muslims who are warning the West of the inevitable catastrophe coming. There are some Muslims who know that Islam has to be reformed to adapt to the democratic values and freedoms so important in a free and prosperous society. Ayan Hirsi Ali has some very informative books which all Muslims should read. There are Muslims like Tarek Fatah and Raheel Raza who are also ones to be heeded….even though they are under the threat of death for speaking out. It is beyond incredible that they are threatened with death for expressing their opinion. Listen to the hate being spewed from Palestine House. How can mobs of Muslims parade through the streets of Toronto with Hamas, Hezbollah, and ISIS flags – their faces contorted in a mindless rage spewing their hatred against the very freedoms we have in this country? But when Ezra Levant or Mark Stein write articles about these disgusting vermin they are charged with hate speech by Canadian Human Rights Commissions. The hypocrisy is phenomenal.

I believe Erdogan’s original quote referenced a “tram”</b? rather than a mainline "train" thus implying that he anticipated a rather shorter ride.

BTW Erdogan himself apparently used to boast that he was actually an ethnic Georgian whose ancestors lived on the Black Sea coast but now portrays himself as the new uber-Turk. Erdogan’s recent utterances about the “tainted blood” of ethnic Turkish politicians make more sense when seen against his personal background – as a projection of an ongoing complex about “Turkishness.”

What an ugly flag Turkey has. It conveys a lot——-the star and crescent are both representations of Islam, the worst religion ever created by man, and the red signifies the blood spilled by Turks over the centuries. But for what was this spilling of blood? For Islam first and foremost of course.

As I said, it’s one damn ugly flag and is indeed representative of a people who embraced the wrong religion, and again and again spilled the blood of their young men for something malevolent and useless. Ranks right up there with the Soviet flag displaying the hammer and sickle and the Third Reich flag displaying the swastika. Yeah, it’s this awful.

Dearest gravenimage (and you are to me most dear), I a few days ago retrieved a tome from my library that I had not looked upon for some twenty years. It is the great French medievalist’s master work, “La fin du monde antique et le debut du Moyen Age,” that is to say in English translation, “The End Of The Ancient World And The Beginning Of The Middle Ages.”

This superb historian whom I reference is Ferdinand Lot (1866-1952). To this day, he is still greatly respected by medievalists, so thorough, prodigious in output, and masterful in assessments was he. In any case, this masterpiece of his was published in 1927 and on page 54 I found in this work a hauntingly and disturbingly correct assessment of Islam. I now convey this to you, and I can only hope that other astute commenters here at JW, like Angemon, ,mortimer, Mirren, jihad3tracker, CES, Demsci, RolandB, et al., also read what I here write to you. It goes as follows (in English translation):

“In spite of all the efforts, the Church was never destined to succeed in dominating the State. The real reason for this was, as we have seen, that the Christian Church had not been constituted for the life of this world. It brought to society no new legal or social ideas. Consequently it accepted without any opposition and without any real distaste the institution of the Roman state……………..Herein lies the secret of the profound difference, far more profound than is recognized, between Christian and Muslim states. Islam brings with it not only a religion but also a system of laws and a political theory, the equivalent of which it would be vain to look for in the Gospels. But even this way of speaking is not quite accurate: laws, customs, usages, even are all indistinguishable in this religion. And as its law, polity, and usages are elementary, made for an undeveloped society, it is a superhuman task to adapt a Muslim society to modern life. Here religion will not be content with its proper share. It is useless to try and put it in its place, for its place is everywhere or nowhere.”

Damn good call, no? Prescient in toto. And made going on a hundred years ago. Those last three sentences of Lot’s, and most especially the last one I would contend, convey a universal truth about Islam————for all time and everywhere. If only more in today’s West would heed it. Take care, my friend.

Many of these Turks came from Netherland and Belgium. But you are right, there are only few Germans protesting on the streets for their future.
One reason is that they are afraid of losing their jobs when protesting openly against the system. On the German blog pi-news.net was an interesting comment referring to this lethargy especcially in West Germany. The people there have been indoctrined for so many decades. They have been disarmed for a long time and the guilt-cult has taught them that it is indecent to claim any rights for Germans or critizise anything foreigh. It is hard to stand up for your rights when you have learned all your life that this behaviour is shameful.
These last years one of the newest doctrines is that it were the Turks who rebuilt Germany after WW II. And who wants to rebel against the saviours of your country?

No government anywhere would allow an external government to address a political meeting in another country.
This should worry the Germans a lot. Erdogan could call out his loyalists onto German streets if the dignity of His Grace is offended again.

Oh, this didn´t freighten our government last year and lots of years before.
Erdogan had mäny events in Germany throuout the last years. In my hometown Cologne he was at least twice in the Kölnarena- greatest Eventhall in Cologne – and thousands of turks came there. The whole town was plastered with signs in turkish language – not in german. We didn´t know, what these signs said. We didn´t understand, what Erdogan said in Cologne or eleswhere – it was all in turkish. None in the German Government had any problems with this, allthough it was obvious, that Erdogan was on re-election-campaign in a foreign country.
Last year he stayed at Frankfurt (I think). There he named the turks living in Germany “His Poeple outside Turkey”. Nothing, no reaction from the Government.
I guess the Government did react a little this time, because people in Germany are awakening and they don´t like what they see.

Pity these motivated Muslims in COLOGNE couldn’t come out in protest against the NY sex assaults.

The muslim men in Europe should go fighting against daesh and to change their nations into democracies. Their own countries pay. Instead of Europe, U.S.A., europeans and americans having to.
Lots of money reasonably belonging to Germany and Europe wasted on muslim countries. Does not make sense. Muslims now even an important part of Europe.
Muslim violence and antagonism against each other and against non-believers now in countries having fought devastating wars, finallly cooperating and living in peace and prosperity.
the same even in a european country living in peace for 200 years muslim aggression taking over increasingly.
Must be stopped. Good Germany said no this time.

Correction: The same even in a country in Europe enjoying peace for 200 years. Muslim aggression taking over increasingly.

Certainly at least one of these Muslims in Germany at sometime enlisted in the German army and then died while on duty.

This proves all Muslims are good, Merckel is right, and everyone else is an Islamaphope.

I doubt that there has been any fallen German soldier with foreign origin. Germany hides their soldiers who die while on duty very well. If possible they even don´t get mentioned in public. But if there were any Muslim soldiers among these death there would be lioud mourning and a raging Muslum mob would run through German streets for revenge.

Erdogan is a tyrant who is also a muslim a bad combination. The poor people of Turkey and surrounding nations will rue the day Erdogan took over just as Russia did with Stalin and Germany with Hitler. Tyrants take the guns from honest citizens and then abuse them for decades. Let’s pray The Turks awaken quickly.

U.S. Central Command Commander General Joseph Votel said on July 28 that a number of the U.S. military’s closest allies in the Turkish military have been placed in jail following the July 15 attempted coup.

“We’ve certainly had relationships with a lot of Turkish leaders, military leaders in particular,” General Votel said at the Aspen Security Forum meeting in Colorado. “I’m concerned about what the impact is on those relationships as we continue.”

Another photograph of this rally that I saw had the iconic twin spires of Cologne Cathedral in the background. The Cathedral is very close to the Hauptbahnhof, the main railway station, outside which so many atrocities were committed last New Year. There is no coincidence that these islamists chose Cologne Cathedral for their backdrop.

Erdogan is the literal Antichrist. The Ottoman Empire is the ‘beast’ that was wounded and “has come back to life again” referred to in the Book of Revelation in the New Testament. Islam is the “religion” of the Antichrist [1John 4:1-3] and Erdogan, a Sufi Muslim, will soon unite ALL Muslims – Sufi, Sunni, and Shia – in the real Caliphate, with himself as Sultan/Caliph. Open your eyes. It could not be more clear.

This year there are elections in BERLIN-you know Berlin is full of Turks.

After it looks like the Turks hate the german polticians more than ever i wonder who they will vote?
The most Turks voted in the last years the SPD(Social Democrats),or other LEft or Green Partys.
The rest voted for Merkels Party CDU.

If they dont go to the elections it will be very good for the AFD.

ps:Also very funny. The SPD was against the Pro Erdogan Demo-but the Organizer was an Turkish SPD MEMBER!45 year old Ahmet Çon.

Also i can say to you that 99% of the Turks in germany are 100% Turkish and 100% for Turkey.Even if they get an german Passport they say 1 minute after into TV cameras:Im a Turk-a paper is nothing! Also a famous Turkish comedian sayed in TV that every Turk who gets an german Passport will be asked by Turkish State if he dont want again a Turkish passport-thats forbidden in germany but the most will take it,but german laws say you lost the Citizeship than.
So many people in germany go the elections who dont have the right anymore!!!
