The relentlessly clueless Daily Mail, the worst paper in the Western world, dubs Trump’s statements about this on the O’Reilly Factor “FEAR FACTOR.” But in reality, Trump has a point: Ahmad al-Mohammed and one other of the jihadis who murdered 130 people in Paris in November 2015 had just entered Europe as refugees.
In February 2015, the Islamic State boasted it would soon flood Europe with as many as 500,000 refugees. And the Lebanese Education Minister said in September 2015 that there were 20,000 jihadis among the refugees in camps in his country. Meanwhile, 80% of migrants who have come to Europe claiming to be fleeing the war in Syria aren’t really from Syria at all.
So why are they claiming to be Syrian and streaming into Europe, and now the U.S. as well? An Islamic State operative gave the answer when he boasted in September 2015, shortly after the migrant influx began, that among the flood of refugees, 4,000 Islamic State jihadis had already entered Europe. He explained their purpose: “It’s our dream that there should be a caliphate not only in Syria but in all the world, and we will have it soon, inshallah.” These Muslims were going to Europe in the service of that caliphate: “They are going like refugees,” he said, but they were going with the plan of sowing blood and mayhem on European streets. As he told this to journalists, he smiled and said, “Just wait.”
On May 10, 2016, Patrick Calvar, the head of France’s DGSI internal intelligence agency, said that the Islamic State was using migrant routes through the Balkans to get jihadis into Europe.
“‘A lot of those people are ISIS’: Trump renews warnings about Hillary’s plan to accept 65,000 Syrian refugees per year,” by David Martosko, Dailymail.com, June 30, 2016 (thanks to Lookmann):
Donald Trump blasted Hillary Clinton on Wednesday for her plan to increase the number of Syrian refugees being resettled in the United States, renewing his warnings that populations from the war-torn country are a Trojan horse full of ISIS terrorists.
‘They’re letting tens of thousands of people come in from Syria,’ Trump said on the Fox News Channel ‘O’Reilly Factor’ show, ‘and nobody knows who these people are. And a lot of those people are ISIS.’
The Obama administration is behind schedule on its goal of assimilating 10,000 Syrians into America this year, and recent numbers indicate about 350 are entering the U.S. each week.
Clinton has proposed increasing that goal to 65,000 Syrian refugees per year.
Trump claimed Wednesday during an afternoon rally in Bangor, Maine that ISIS, refashioned as an ‘Islamic State’ from the ‘al Qaeda in iraq’ terror group, was part of Clinton’s legacy as secretary of state.
‘ISIS was formed during her tenure. ISIS is now worse than ever,’ he boomed, reminding his audience of the carnage that had unfolded a day earlier at Turkey’s largest airport.
‘You see what happened yesterday. You see what’s going on generally. ISIS is looking strong,’ he said.
‘ISIS is signing up people over the Internet. They know how to use the Internet better than we do and we do nothing about anything. They’re taking our youth. You know why they’re taking our youth? Because they look like they’re winning.’…
