Where did Mahin Khan learn his understanding of Islam? Is his local mosque being investigated? Or are the feds satisfied that he was “radicalized on the Internet”? They never seem curious as to why these Internet radicals are so easily able to defeat the peaceful, benign Islam that Muslims supposedly imbibe in U.S. mosques.
“FBI: Tucson man arrested in conspiracy to commit terrorism in Arizona,” by Graig Graziosi, The Arizona Republic, July 2, 2016:
The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Arizona Attorney General’s Office have arrested an 18-year-old Tucson man they say conspired to carry out acts of terrorism against government buildings in Maricopa and Pima counties.
Mahin Khan was arrested in Tucson following an investigation by the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force, according to the FBI. He was booked into Maricopa County jail on suspicion of conspiring to commit terrorism.
Attorney General’s Office spokeswoman Mia Garcia and FBI officials said Khan’s alleged plans did not involve the Fourth of July or any related festivities….

Will the west ever wake up to the reality that Islam is an inherently violent and psychotic ideology?
Wellington says
“Will the west ever wake up to the reality that Islam is an inherently violent and psychotic ideology?”
Yes, the West will, but only after stupidly exploring every other possibility and after even many more dead and maimed bodies aplenty occur. This being partially (but only partially mind you) dispositive of how so many of those who are free in the freest civilization of all time, the West, still stupidly take so much for granted even though establishing freedom in the first place, which of course Islam knows nothing about, requires great sacrifice.
With freedom must come proper knowledge and diligence. The modern Western Left (e.g., Barack and Hillary) has been very successful in distorting this truth and much of the modern Western Right has, though realizing this truth in the abstract, been in total wussy-ass mode for years now respecting vigorously promoting this truth (e.g., John McCain and Mitt Romney). Not a healthy combo to put it mildly.
Much more trouble ahead, once again to put it mildly. Count on it, courtesy not first and foremost of evil (i.e., Islam) but courtesy first and foremost of foolish or cowardly exculpation of evil (the usual culprits here——-Obama, Clinton, McCain, Romney et al.).
The Age of Nonsense does indeed march on in full throttle. Damn shame that it does but it does.

These people who are convicted of Islamic terrorism should be stripped of citizenship and exiled / deported to a Muslim country of their choice never to return.

No. If they are alive, they can come back and attempt to kill again. Sadly, the only way to “fix” a terrorist is to permanently remove it from society. There is no cure for the disease of terrorism.

Now that the clock boy has opted to return to the US (because he missed it…aawwwww!!!), maybe Qatar will find a place in its large islamic heart to offer its citizenship to this paki?

The West knows who they are, but the money coming from Dubai, Quatar and Saudi Arabia is too much to say no. The people leading the world finances are the ones dictating to governments how to behave toward Islamists. Those people do not care about any country. They are the globalist. They will sell their soul to the devil.

He looks older than 18 to me. And he appears developmentally disabled. I wonder if he is a child of refugees or 2nd generation migrants?

If he is a teen -ager , he look mature. I would gave him more 27 than 17.
An important question to know about someone is : what does he do for a living? If this man is a teen -ager, where was he living ?
Once one know what one do for a living , he has a good idea of a man . We all have essential needs so to survive: air , water, food , clothes and shelter. If air and water are free, food , clothes and shelter have to be buy and so money must come in . How this or this man is he getting his money ? Legaly , illegaly , borderline ? How serious is he ? In what area does he work ? This give him credibility or not . If it is vague……Business man ……Ask yourself some questions.
linnte says
You are correct Carmel. I would like to know more about this man. It seems our media are reluctant to give more info. Putting all of his information together would say much about his community and family.

Oh the Tucson Mosque.
The same mosque with al-Qaeda links.
Hey those UA students would be tossing liquor bottles onto mosque property – there is UA housing right next to it.
That should be the VERY FIRST mosque Trump shuts down in the USA. Demolish it and build more UA student housing.

He looks like another muslim retard with spittle hanging off. Arrgg. These young people need their idiot phones confiscated.
Maybe if they hit government buildings, the Government would wake up? Not that I promote that sort of behaviour.

“He was booked into Maricopa County jail on suspicion of conspiring to commit terrorism.”
Of all the counties in the United States — Maricopa — in which to don the silver bracelets, Mahen Khan managed to spend the remaining days of the “holy month” in Chief Joe Arpaio’s jail. Khan will look great in pink . . . as he enjoys the iftar with a peanut butter sandwich.

Need to do surveillance on mosques, all mosques. It’s no different than sending FBI to German American Bund meetings in the thirties. Deportations and most importatantly, informing the population of just what these people are saying is critically important. Once it’s widely known, those involved will find that working and living among us is difficult. Can’t discriminate against religion but can take appropriate precautions against murderous traitors.

“Khan lived with his family in a gated community”
As our “leaders” and so-called journalists regurgitate the poverty line as a reason for “violent extremism”, I do wonder how many impoverished Muslim families live there.

There seems to be no information on where Mahin Khan and his family are from. By their last name Khan – they could possibly be Pakistani immigrants.
And more – was he born in the US or when did he and his family arrive in the US.
Possibly he was home-schooled at least for part of the time or was removed from a local school because of behavioral issues and placed in another school [an Islamic one?]
We shall see!
Currently immigrants from Pakistan are at the top of the list for terror related arrests in the US.
