Germany is at war — a war, like World War II, of its own making, and a war, also like World War II, that will ultimately destroy it. Angela Merkel is the most disastrous German Chancellor, for Germany and the world, since Adolf Hitler.
“Germany: IS claims responsibility for attack in Bavaria,” by Tomislav Skaro and Kirsten Grieshaber, Associated Press, July 25, 2016:
ANSBACH, Germany (AP) — A Syrian man whose asylum bid had been rejected in Germany recorded a cellphone video of himself pledging allegiance to the Islamic State group before he tried to get into an outdoor concert with a bomb-laden backpack. He was turned away and blew himself up outside a wine bar instead, injuring 15 people, authorities said Monday.
The Islamic State group claimed responsibility.
It was the fourth attack to shake Germany in a week — three of them carried out by recent migrants.
The 27-year-old, identified by federal prosecutors as Mohammad D. in line with German privacy laws, set off a backpack laden with explosives and shrapnel Sunday night after being refused entry to the nearby festival in the Bavarian city of Ansbach because he didn’t have a ticket.
Bavarian authorities said a video found on the Ansbach bomber’s phone showed him pledging allegiance to the Islamic State. Germany’s top security official, Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere, had said it was too early to rule out terrorism as a motive, but noted that the suspect had twice attempted suicide and had been receiving psychological care.
“Or it could be a combination of both,” de Maiziere said.
The attack was carried out by “one of the soldiers of the Islamic State,” the extremist group said.
The IS-linked Aamaq news agency said the man carried out the attack in response to calls by the group to target countries of the U.S.-led coalition that is fighting IS….

Tending to confirm in microcosm Winston Churchill’s assessment of the Germans, as I mentioned before here at JW, to wit, that they are either at your throat or at your feet.
Mockingjay says
While it still might apply to Germans of the older generations,
I don’t know how fair a characterization that is of contemporary Germans, Wellington.
But most of all, I think you shouldn’t underestimate the ENORMOUS guilt many of the – especially higher educated – Germans have suffered from because of Germany’s Nazi past.
It even seems that the longer after the war they were born, the more guilt they carry, and I think these are the same people that today, for the most part, constitute the German “elites” – and they are absolutely DETERMINED to be the ABSOLUTE opposite of everything the Nazis were,
– NO MATTER WHAT.
No matter what.
But I can tell you this:
The German people aren’t going to stand for it any longer.
I’ve been reading the comments on a lot of German newssites lately, and I really wish that all of you could too, because then you would see how WIDE awake the Germans have become.
Last year I’d pretty much lost faith that they’d ever come to their senses, and even now there are still plenty of Germans who want to continue on this current disastrous road ( there are even those who call the available information on the threat that the islamic state poses “American propaganda” – no, I’m not kidding) – but I feel confident that the MAJORITY will NOT.
And that’s the difference between the “Third Reich” and the “Bundes Republik” of today – Germany is a democracy now.
People can vote.
Wellington says
I very much hope you’re right, Mockingjay, but I fear you’re wrong. I am of German descent myself (on my father’s side) and I don’t hold out much hope for modern Germany, which is suffering from a bad case of vapid secularism coupled with an affluence which, if not dealt with correctly, will only lead to ennui and collective stupidity. Waiting in the wings to take advantage of these errors is the Great Parasite, Islam. Happening now, no?
gravenimage says
I agree, mccode.
I could not respect Robert Spencer any more than I do–I consider him an absolute hero of our times–but I sadly have to disagree with his characterization of the situation here.
To describe both the savage aggression of Hitler with the suicidal policies of Merkel as both resulting in a “war of their own making” is so broad as to make this almost meaningless.
And the truth is that virtually all nations of the West are doing just what Germany is doing–just to a somewhat lesser degree. All of us are allowing Muslims to flood into our civilized countries–and Germany taking in such an invasion has resulted in almost “instant karma”, as Mohammedans murderously attack the very people who have given them asylum.
We have *finally* begun to see some stirrings of resistance to this policy in the West–Brexit in the UK, Donald Trump’s now calling for a total moratorium on Muslim immigration, even normally dhimmi Norway deporting some migrants. I hope Germany first puts on the brakes and then begins to send some of these ravening Mohammedans back.
The irony is that Merkel at one point not long ago–when she openly admitted that this kind of “multiculturalism” had failed–seemed to be one of the saner European politicians, before she completely reversed her course and opened the floodgates. Let’s hope that she regains her sanity for the sake of Germany, and all of Europe.

Walter Sieruk says
To restate ,again, the message that is very much needed. Which is that hideous ISIS jihad suicide /homicide bombing in southern Germany , raises the question is as to why are the jihadist bombers are , so very, delusional that they actually want to become human bombs ? Some of the reasons are that such violent and deadly people are the outcome of the extreme brainwashing that is done in Islamic mind programming centers which are more widely known as mosques and madrasas, by the Muslim clerics, such as the imams and in some countries as Afghanistan and Iran also the mullahs. In those Islamic mind programming centers youth are thoroughly indoctrinated into believing in the Islamic doctrine from the Koran. as found in 44;54. 55:56. 78:31.., of a sexual/lust filled paradise with many virgins, houris, in it for the Muslim male who dies fighting for the cause of Islam in the jihad. First and foremost, those who come out of those places of extreme brainwashing are so very warped, sick and deluded that they actually view such murderous bombing attacks as “martyrdom operations” Likewise, they are so very damaged that they have literally become dangerous to self and others. In addition, the Bible does warn about false teachers who ingrain a belief in a doctrine of a story of a /lustful/lust-filled place with much sex in it. For the Bible warns about false teachers, the Muslim clerics do fit this description, in Second Peter 2:18. Which reads “For they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh…” Furthermore, many a times a jihad –minded Muslim in his death recording talks about “the wedding with the virgins” that he will have after he becomes a “martyr.” Such a belief Jesus would denounce as being based on false doctrine and false teaching. For Jesus taught “Ye do err, not knowing the scripture, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angles in heaven.” Mathew 22:29, 30. In contrast to the delusional Islamic pipe-dream of the jihadist in the Koranic story/doctrine of a place with virgins, Christians have the reality of Second Peter 1:16. Which reads “For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ…” [K.J.V.]

Spencer was right when he said on FOX that it’s going to get worse. The violence is escalating, islamic terror is almost a daily occurrence. The fake refugee crisis has granted jihadists ready access to harm us, and world opinion against islam’s fascist agenda is causing muslims to ramp up the violence. If there’s any silver lining to this horror story it’s that Trump will be impelled straight to the White House. Americans will realize they can’t trust heartless Hillary to deal with the islamic threat, she hates free speech and shills for the enemy. She’d destroy our 2nd Amendment too if she could, she’s a fraud who cares more about herself than America. We need a man of principle and patriotism who isn’t afraid to speak the truth about islam. I know Trump ain’t perfect, but I’d rather have a wet-behind-the-ears patriot than a self-serving liar like “heartless Hillary.”
Islam has created a culture of hate against us; our freedoms, peace, and human rights are under attack. This war that islam has declared against us will require decisive action in all the right places. The last thing we need in confronting islam’s genocidal hate is more excuses, lies, and apologies.
Stuart Maxwell says
Correct. In Trump’s very recent RNC acceptance speech he did not even once refer to “radical Islamic terrorism”, but referred at least three times only to “Islamic terrorism” plus also labelled it as a “hateful foreign ideology”. Trump 2016. He also pledged wholehearted allegiance to the Constitution which hopefully means he is learning the supreme importance of the First Amendment.
billybob says
only to “Islamic terrorism” I noticed that too, and I was waiting to see if the press would pick up on it. I scanned about a dozen critiques of his speech after, and not one mentioned it! I thought it was very interesting – like he upped the ante. He had forced Obama to use the words “radical Islam”, if only in passing. Then he lets the other shoes drop – “Now say this, Obama” …and we know Obama’s not going to ever say “Islamic terrorism”.

Withe news of the murderous jihad attack it’s thus necessary to reiterate that the ISIS jihad bomber who murdered all those people in the city of southern Germany was as deluded and delusional and was dangerous and murderous. For he must had actually believed by that by his murdering jihad bombing he was going to obtain for himself a paradise. The more fool him. For the Bible teaches that a murder “shall not inherit the kingdom of God. ” Galatians 5:21. In addition the falsehood of the story of the doctrine from the Koran, the Qu ‘ran, Sura 44:54. 55:56. 78:31, of a sexual /lust-filled paradise with many virgins, houris, in it for certain men Muslim men is a falsehood the is a story /doctrine is this also absurd. The Bible warns against listening to and believing in unproven, unfounded and far-fetched religious stories. No matter how enticing those religious story /doctrines may be . For the Bible warns against giving “heed to fables…” First Timothy 1:4. Furthermore, the Bible had predicted the coming of such false religious teachers, as those imams, who teaches other a story/doctrine of a lust-filled /lust-fill place for specific men. For the Bible reads “”For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but will after their own lust shall heap to themselves teachers ,having itching ears; and they shall turn their ears for the truth ,and shall be turned unto fables.” Second Timothy 4:3,4. Westman says
This was all planned in advance.
Investigators said the bomb was packed with metal, designed to kill and maim as many people as possible. Most likely the music festival was the target but Muhammad didn’t have, and couldn’t get, a ticket and was turned away. Imagine the carnage if he had gotten into the festival.
Andrew says
Yes, 2500 entirely innocent people inside just out to have a nice evening. It’s sickening. It’s abundantly clear he wanted to inflict as much damage as possible. While utterly devastating for those injured, this could have been far, far worse.
gravenimage says
Yes–as horrifying as this Jihad terror attack was, it was intended to be much, much worse.
dumbledoresarmy says
One may note that he originally targeted a *music* festival and then, foiled by his having not bought a ticket (but I am *amazed* that his *backpack* was not opened and inspected; *that*, these days, after the Boston marathon attack, and the mohammedan bombings of trains and buses in London 2005, ought to be just standard procedure), targeted a *wine* bar.
Now, both of those venues of course contained a thick crowd of potential victims.
But they were *also* infidel venues devoted to things that the sharia of Islam anathematises and criminalises – 1/ music and 2/ wine.
He could have targeted a crowded railway station or a crowded bus stop or a busy shopping centre, if all he was after was mass casualties.
Instead, he targeted a music festival and, thwarted of that, a wine bar.
PS These days, not only in Europe but just about anywhere, *any* Event (such as a concert or cultural celebration or ‘public picnic’) involving large numbers of people should have a perimeter, and limited number of entries, with security people at each entry point, and NO large bag, picnic basket, backpack or other container (such as, in Australia, the humble ‘eskie’) should be allowed inside until and unless it has been opened and inspected.
gravenimage says
My guess is that he was turned away because he did not have a ticket, and that the issue of his backpack never came up. If only it had, though…

On the positive side. I did it to find out who is brave and not and what people I will keep in my life and not as well, not just to spread the message.
But I miss when life was normal and the future for my people looked safe forever. When we where a people, not just a bunch of fat drunken hipsters, sluts and cucks who think this is individualism. Bevause it is not, it is disolving and scatters common identity into splinters of mistrust, egomania and nihilism. I want them to wake up now…it is time.

It is always a combination of both because Islamic ideology is itself a form of mental illness. A person would have to be insane to believe it or to believe in it. No sane person would ever forsake their own moral judgement to endorse such an evil and hate filled philosophy.
The inbreeding doesn’t help either. The power the IQ the more vulnerable you are to this twisted cult.
DP111 says
On BBC, just as a byline, police in Bavaria report that the Jihadi bomber was not just an ISIS supporter, but was angry that Germany was resisting the spread of Islam.
The last sentence is the key. What our police do not realize yet, that resisting the spread pf Islam by any means, even peaceful, is a crime in Islam, punishable by death. It is the most sinful of all sins in Islam, i.e., resisting the spread of the dominion of Allah. Everything else pales in comparison.
This was the reason that bin Laden launched 9/11. That the USA and Australia had resisted the takeover of East Timor by Islam, reversed it, and banished Islam from what was virtually an Islamic dominion. Thus the Bali and NY attacks.
Looking at it from the Islamic perspective. A million or so men, each paying thousands of Euros, had crossed over to Europe, on the way to Germany. They believed that Allah had influenced Merkel’s mind, and Europe was theirs to take- including women and girls. When met by hordes of Germans cheering them on as they entered Germany, they must have felt what the Allied soldiers felt, as they liberated Europe from the Nazis. Imagine the disappointment that this was not the case. The last year has not been very encouraging. Germany was resisting.
StuartG says
Equally worrying is the headline ‘Syrian refugee blows himself up’.
The headline inference clear that he was so hard done by that he had to kill himself. Yet that is deliberately misleading and factually incorrect given the contents of his backpack and stated threats. The BBC are a news source not a public opinion massaging service.

I take your point, DP111–except that the Allies never intended to mass-rape the local women and impose a tyrannical theocracy.

Since the Qur’an forbids suicide, and since Mohammad D. was undoubtedly a devout Muslim, I don’t think he commited suicide. Rather, he was an inept, incompetent boob who blew himself up without taking any infidels with him. So, how is Allah going to weigh his good deeds against his evil ones when deciding whether he is “led into gardens watered by flowing rivers to live forever” or “thrown into the fire of hell”. My bet is that Allah, having shown himself throughout the Qur’an to be wildly arbitrary and capricious, will send him to the fire.
